Hello everyone, and today, Dragnarok and Bandicoot will be heading to the French city of Lille to face off against the first of Eldritch's eight generals, Freezebite Wendigo!
Before we start, I want to address a few things.
fan-like-irving: All will be revealed in due time. But as for Damselfly Odonatatizing a Miraculous wielder, they get a new power temporally. This is how the Dragonfly Miraculous works, it can give anyone who can be effected by it to get a new power, helping the person temporally "Adapt" to their current situation. To put it simply, the Echidna Miraculous makes already existing power stronger by "Evolving" said powers while the Dragonfly Miraculous helps people "Adapt" by giving them a new power or upgrading a existing power.
Gramzon Dragon: Sorry to say, I decided to drop the boss theme for the generals. But don't worry, when Dragnarok encounters one, he'll go "Rip Ya a New One" on them!
bibondnd: I don't have a PS5, but I do want one. They're just so hard to find right now. But if I do get one, Rift Apart will be the first game I play on it. And believe me, Rift Apart has already affected Miraculous Draconic in ways that will be revealed in due time.
Dyan-Man 21: As interesting as that sounds, I've NEVER played any of the Tekken games. The closest thing I played is Pokken Tournament, the Pokemon spinoff.
Anyway, let's begin.
Season 2.5 Opening( I Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin)(I do not own the song)
At Notre Dame, Dragnarok and Bandicoot were looking over the list of the people being sheltered in Notre Dame and the former was upset that his mother wasn't on the list.
"She isn't here..." He muttered as he puts the list down while Bandicoot pats his shoulder.
"Is something the matter, Dragnarok?" A voice spoke up. Following it, Dragnarok and Bandicoot saw it was Juleka Couffaine.
"Just someone I'm trying to find someone who ain't here." The draconic hero said.
"Perhaps they're in Lille." Juleka suggested, getting the heroes' attention. "The monsters had built railroads all over France for their own personal train, which is used to transport slaves and cargo."
"Why would they need to be taken to Lille?" Dragnarok asked.
"I don't know, but those sent there were never heard from again." Juleka said in a scared tone. "My friend Rose went out to find food, only to get captured and sent there." Dragnarok clenched his fist, upset that a friend was in the monsters' clutches. "Please find her..."
"Don't worry, we'll save her." Dragnarok said with Bandicoot nodding in agreement.
"Thank you." Juleka said with a smile.
Leaving Notre Dame and heading to where the train was usually seen, Dragnarok and Bandicoot found a makeshift train station, where prisoners were being loaded onto freight cars in chains.
The actual train itself was a 2-0-0 engine that is dark purple in color with areas having a volcanic glow. On the side was a metal plate that had "Steam 2" on it.
"Steam 2?" Dragnarok asked as he looked at the engine.
-Looks like Eldritch rebuild it.- Spyro theorized. -I wonder if it is stronger than the original model I fought.-
That's when a Shadow Ape wearing a purple conductor's hat gets behind to controls. Acting quickly, Dragnarok and Bandicoot quietly snuck onto the roof of one of the freight cars before the train took off.
Within record time, Steam 2 arrived in Lille.
But what Dragnarok and Bandicoot saw shocked them.
Lille was completely frozen over. Ice and snow covered the buildings and streets. The only strange thing that wasn't related to ice was a giant dark purple crystal tower with various smaller crystals jetting out like branches.
"How?" Dragnarok muttered as he and Bandicoot looked at the frozen city.
That's when some Grublins and Shadow Apes approached the freight cars and pulls the prisoners out.
"W-what do you want from us?!" One of the prisoners shouted, shivering from the cold.
"You're totally obedience." A voice spoke up.
Come from the Grublins and Shadow Ape was a humanoid figure.
The figure was male and was wearing a brown fur sleeveless jacket with dried blood all over it, black jeans, and brown cleats. However, the figure had very disturbing features, such as icy blue skin, a hole in his chest, showing his rib cage. On his head, covering the upper half of his face, was a deer skull with antlers made of pure ice. Over the skull were crack and spots of dried blood. Patches of black hair came out the back of the skull. Peeking out of the skulls eye sockets were a pair of white, soulless eye. And finally, his hands were giant, three digit claw made of ice, with dried blood on the tip of each claw.
"I am Freezebite Wendigo, one of Lord Eldritch's eight generals, and, as of right now, your new warden." The figure introduced himself with a smile, showing his razor sharp, blood stained teeth.
"W-warden?" A female prisoner asked with a shiver, both out of fear and the cold.
"That's right. You see, you're all were sent here because you all refuse to bow to Lord Eldritch." Freezebite Wendigo said as he looks the prisoners over.
"That's because he's a madman!" A male prisoner shouted.
Freezebite Wendigo just glared at the man before launching a icicle through the man's neck, killing him. The other prisoners screamed as the man's body drops to the ground, lifeless, while Dragnarok and Bandicoot stared to shock.
"Take that as a warning." Freezebite Wendigo said. "Now then... See that giant crystal tower?" The icy general points to the tower. "From now on, you're all going to mine dark crystals to make that tower stronger." Freezebite Wendigo then turns back to the prisoners. "You'll all be working 24/7, and your only break, will be death."
The prisoners just looked at Freezebite Wendigo in absolute fear.
"Take them away." Freezebite Wendigo ordered before looking down at the body of the man he just kill. "And take this body and hang it up to warn everyone else that disobedience is a bad idea."
As the Grublins and Shadow Apes did as they were told, Dragnarok and Bandicoot quietly got off the freight car and took cover behind some nearby buildings.
"Okay, we need to free the people and stop that Wendigo guy." Dragnarok said as he peeks around the corner. He then spots exhausted and cold prisoners pushing carts full of dark crystals from a icy makeshift mine that is next to the crystal wall Eldritch made and threw them at the base of the dark crystal tower, causing more crystal branches to sprout from the tower. "And I think I found the first place to strike."
Sneaking past the Grublins and Shadow Apes, Dragnarok and Bandicoot entered the mine, where they saw prisoners, bounding in chains, mining dark crystals that appear to be sprouting out from the base of the wall. Next to them were Shadow Apes holding whips, looking for any excuse to use them.
"Looks like the only way to get these guys out is to fight the guards." Dragnarok said as he looks around the mineshaft before looking at Bandicoot. "Are you ready?"
Bandicoot just nodded.
Suddenly, the handle on one of the prisoner's pickaxe breaks.
"Uh oh..." The prisoner, who turned out to be Rose, muttered as the Shadow Ape next to her raised it's whip. "Wait-!"
But before the whip could hit her, Dragnarok throws a fireball at the Shadow Ape, setting it ablaze.
The Shadow Ape ran around, trying to to put the fire out. That's when Dragnarok, in a Earth Boulder and wearing his Dark Armor, drops down and shatters the Shadow Ape into pieces.
"Dragnarok!" Rose cheered.
The Grublins and Shadow Apes charged that the draconic hero, only to be blown back by various Aether-based attacks. A Grublins Fly tried to sneak up on Dragnarok, only for Bandicoot drop down, grabbed it's arm, and starts flinging it around.
"Thanks." Dragnarok said, with Bandicoot giving a thumbs up before smacking the Grublin Fly into a nearby Axe Orc Grublin. Dragnarok then turns to the prisoners. "We're here to set you free." This got cheers from the chain bound people. "Now stand back."
The draconic hero then fires a barrage of small Aether spheres at the chains, breaking them.
The freed citizens ran to the mine's exit as Dragnarok and Bandicoot held the Grublins and Shadow Apes back. But before they could reach it, a wall of ice forms in front of them.
"And where do you're going?" A voice spoke up. Looking at the top of the ice wall, everyone saw that it was Freezebite Wendigo. "I'd thought I made it pretty clear that disobedience is a very bad idea."
As the citizens back away in fear, Dragnarok step up to the general.
"Where do you get off ordering people around through fear?!" He shouted.
"Ah... Dragnarok." Freezebite Wendigo said as he jumps down from the ice wall. "To answer your question, I'm simply following the rules of nature."
"The rules of nature?" Dragnarok asked.
"The strong live, and the weak die." Freezebite Wendigo said with a sadistic grin. "And humanity is weak."
"And are you say that you're not human?" Dragnarok remarked.
"Do I even look human?" Freezebite Wendigo asked in sarcastic tone. "You see, the other generals and I are Homunculus."
This gets surprised looks from everyone.
"Homunculus... You mean the human-like creatures made from Alchemy?" Dragnarok asked.
"Indeed. But now, no more talk." Freezebite Wendigo said as he holds his claws out. "I was ordered to bring you to Lord Eldritch. And while he did say he wanted you alive, he didn't say what condition you had to be in."
"Bring it on!" Dragnarok said before throwing a fireball at the ice wall, melting a hole in the center of it. "Bandicoot! Take the citizens to safety!"
With a nod, Bandicoot leads the citizens through the hole. The Grublins and Shadow Apes were about to chase after them, but Freezebite Wendigo stop them.
"Let them leave, they served their purpose." He said before facing Dragnarok. "Okay... Let's dance!"
Freezebite Wendigo then fires a barrage of icicles at Dragnarok, who countered with a barrage of fireballs. The two then charged at each other, Dragnarok performing a Comet Dash while Freezebite Wendigo performing a icy version of the Comet Dash.
The two attack collided, both trying to overpower each other.
"Give... Up!" Freezebite Wendigo sneered.
"Dream... On!" Dragnarok growled.
The two fighters then push each other away.
Freezebite Wendigo tried to claw Dragnarok, but the draconic hero dodged the last second, causing the icy Homunculus to hit the wall of the mine, making it unstable.
"The whole place is coming down!" Dragnarok shouted as he ran to the exit, only to be grabbed by Freezebite Wendigo.
"You're not going anywhere!" Freezebite Wendigo shouted as he held on the draconic hero.
Outside, Bandicoot watched in silent horror as the mine collapses. Running up to the wreckage, Bandicoot started to dig for a while before finally find the draconic hero and pulls him out.
"Thanks..." Dragnarok said as he dusts himself.
Suddenly, popping out of the wreckage with a roar was Freezebite Wendigo, who throws a icicle at Dragnarok, piercing his side and causing the draconic hero to scream in pain.
"I don't see why Lord Eldritch would want you. You're weak." The icy Homunculus sneered. "The weak only exist to be purged by the strong! Survival of the fittest! Kill or be killed! Those are the rules of nature!"
As Freezebite Wendigo monologues, Bandicoot helps Dragnarok onto his feet as the draconic hero pulled the icicle out for his side, barely holding back a scream. He then notices a batch of red crystals and motions Bandicoot to take him to them.
Once the orange hero did that, Dragnarok grabs a piece and breaks it, absorbing the smaller shards, which heals his wounds. Once Dragnarok was fully restored, he turned to Freezebite Wendigo.
"So the strong must purge the weak? That's where you're wrong." Dragnarok said, causing the Homunculus to stop monologuing. "The strong must protect the weak. That is the true rule of nature!"
"You're not only weak, but stupid as well." Freezebite Wendigo sneered. "You know what? I'll just straight out kill you!"
Freezebite Wendigo then proceeds to fire icicle after icicle at Dragnarok, who just runs pasts them and grabs the icy Homunculus before performing the Fire Fury, blasting Freezebite Wendigo to kingdom come.
Once the attack dies down, Dragnarok, with flames dancing off his body, looks down at Freezebite Wendigo, who was completely burnt.
"So... In the end, You were strong and I was weak." Freezebite Wendigo muttered before coughing. "Not bad."
"I'm strong because I have friends by my side and something to protect." Dragnarok said, not growling after usually using a Fury.
"Is that so?" Freezebite Wendigo asked in a amused tone as cracks begin to form on his body. "Well, anyway, let me tell a piece of history. Eldritch, back when he was Ifirt, was a Alchemist who created the eight of us to be his children. However, back then, there was a law saying that, once a Homunculus was created, it should be instantly destroyed. However, Eldritch ignored that rule, and was punished. He was forced to watch us be destroyed right before his eyes.
"Then how are you here?" Dragnarok asked.
"After Eldritch was imprisoned, he recreated us, using mythical creatures that formed overtime as a template." Freezebite Wendigo said as more cracks began to form. "As you could see, my template was the Wendigo." The homunculus then reaches into his pocket a piece of paper that was slightly burned around the edges. "Take this, it's a map that'll show you where four of my siblings are."
Taking the map, Dragnarok saw that it was a map of France, with five cities marked, one of which was Lille.
"Why give this to me?" The draconic hero asked.
"So you can get your ass kick by the others." Freezebite Wendigo said, letting out a cruel laugh before shattering into small shards of ice, leaving behind the deer skull he was wearing.
Dragnarok said nothing as grabbed the skull before looking at the map with Bandicoot.
"Brest, Marseille, Biarritz, and Strasbourg..." The draconic hero muttered before turning to Bandicoot. "Where to next?"
Bandicoot looked at the map for a bit before pointing to Strasbourg.
Meanwhile, in Eldritch's lair, Eldritch watched the battle through his giant crystal with a disappointed look.
"Freezebite Wendigo, you buffoon, this is why you're the weakest of my generals..." He muttered before massaging his temples. "Still, he managed to get the tower to maximum power. Soon, everything will be in place."
And with that, Eldritch let's out a evil laugh.
And that's that! One general down, seven more to go, and we know where four of them are.
Also, I had Freezebite Wendigo kill someone to show you all how different they are from Hawk Moth's Akumatized villains.
Anyway, see you next time when Dragnarok and Bandicoot head to Strasbourg to fight the next general.
