Hello everyone! The next stop is Biarritz, because that's where Dragnarok and Bandicoot will face the fourth general, Stormer Gryphon!
Before we start, I want to address something:
Gramzon Dragon: While I do have a Wattpad account, it's mostly used for reading other Wattpad stories, but I will think about it.
Now that's settled, let's begin!
Season 2.5 Opening( I Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin)(I do not own the song)
In Brest, Dragnarok stared at the root Miasma Mandragora left behind for a while.
Bandicoot, out of concern, taps the draconic hero's shoulder, snapping him out of it.
"Sorry... It's just, fighting Miasma Mandragora made me realize something..." Dragnarok said in a sad tone. "The generals... While they are Homunculus, they are still living creatures..."
Bandicoot's eyes widen, seeing where draconic hero was going.
"Are we doing the right thing by... Killing them?" Dragnarok asked. Before Bandicoot could even ponder on it, the duo heard Steam 2's whistle. "Aw crap!"
And with that, Dragnarok and Bandicoot made a run for the train.
Meanwhile, beneath the Catacombs of Paris, Eldritch was watching the duo's every move.
"Looks like they're on the move, and if I recall, Steam 2's next destination is Biarritz..." Eldritch muttered to himself. "Looks like I need to give Stormer Gryphon a call." Eldritch then switches the crystal's view to Biarritz. "Stormer Gryphon!"
"Lord Eldritch! I'm so glad you called! I am happy to report that the tower is at maximum power and I'm ready to return to Paris." Stormer Gryphon said in a tone showing nothing but respect.
"Not so fast, Stormer Gryphon." Eldritch said. "Dragnarok and his orange friend are heading to your location, and I'm sure you know what to do."
"Yes sir! I wouldn't fail!" Stormer Gryphon said.
"Better pray to me that you don't..." Eldritch said in a threatening tone.
When Dragnarok and Bandicoot finally arrived at Biarritz, what they saw wasn't pretty.
Giant cages holding men, women, and children were seen everywhere. The prisoners looked hungry, sick, thirsty, and miserable. Grublins and Shadow Apes were seen beating the prisoners just for the slightest misstep. The cages themselves were extremely dirty, as they were covered in mold and cobwebs. Storm clouds hovered overhead, flashing lightning ever once in a while. Off in the distance, was the giant crystal tower.
"They turned the hold city into one giant prison..." Dragnarok muttered in anger.
Getting off of Steam 2, Dragnarok and Bandicoot crept through the city, avoiding the Grublins and Shadow Apes that were patrolling the area.
After a while, the duo managed to find a good hiding spot, where they begin to plan their next move.
"Okay, first thing we need to do is scout the area. To see if there is a to sneak the prisoners out or something." Dragnarok said.
Just then, the sound of a intercom turning on was heard.
"Attentions minions! This is Stormer Gryphon! I've just received word that Dragnarok and his fuzzy, orange friend are coming here." Stormer Gryphon said through the intercoms planted all over the city. "I want the guard doubled- no, tripled! Leave no stone unturned! And if you do managed to find them, capture them and bring them to me! I want them alive, but do feel free to rough them up a bit."
And with that, Stormer Gryphon ends the transmission.
"So that must be the warden and one of Eldritch's generals..." Dragnarok muttered. "Triple the guard, huh? That makes things more difficult. We'll have to split up. We'll cover more ground, as well as make it hard to catch us both."
After getting a nod from Bandicoot, the two split up.
Back with Eldritch, he grabs his staff and peers insides, looking at the captive Miraculous wielders.
"Well, looks who's back..." Siorc said in a bitter tone as soon as she noticed Eldritch. "What do you want?"
"I want to talk to Cat Noir... Alone." Eldritch said before causing the wielders except Cat Noir to disappear.
"What did you do to them?!" Cat Noir demanded.
"Don't worry, I'd simply disconnected them from us." Eldritch said. "Not then... Let's get down to business, Adrien."
Cat Noir had a look of shock.
"How..." He muttered out.
"I know your identity and the identity of the others." Eldritch said. "Now detransform, I wish to speak with Plagg."
"The others won't see me, right?" Cat Noir asked.
"Don't worry, it's just you, me, and Plagg." Eldritch said.
The feline hero glared at Eldritch before letting out a defeated sigh.
"Claws In..." Cat Noir said before turning back into Adrien.
When Plagg flew out of the ring, he glare at Eldritch.
"Ifrit... It's been years." The Cat Kwami said in a cold tone.
"Indeed it has." Eldritch said in a even tone. "Although, you should stop eating Camembert, you've gotten fatter since we've last seen each other."
"Hey!" Plagg shouted in a indignant tone before realizing something. "Wait... How do you know that?"
"During my imprisonment, I've be watching you." Eldritch said. "I'd watch you and your Miraculous go from wielder to wielder."
"...Never before have I felt creep out and flattered at the same time." Plagg said as a slight chill when down his spine. "But why?"
That's when Eldritch's gaze softened.
"Are you willing to believe that a part of me still cherishes the time we had together?" He said in a soft tone, surprising Plagg and Adrien. "You were one of the very few that I was willing to call a friend."
"I... I'd cherished those times too..." Plagg said softly.
"Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end." Eldritch said as his gaze hardens. "The past is the past. There is nothing we can do to change it." Eldritch then looks at Adrien. "You might want to change back, as I'm going to reconnect you with the others."
"Claws Out!" Adrien shouted, turning back into Cat Noir.
Once he was completely transformed, the other wielders reappeared.
"Cat Noir! Are you alright?! What happened?!" Ladybug asked in a worried tone.
"I'm fine, we just talked." Cat Noir said. "Well, actually, he wanted to talk my Kwami, Plagg."
"So you showed him your identity?!" Grizzly asked in a shocked tone.
"He already knows my identity. In fact, he already knows all of yours' as well." The feline hero said, shocking them.
"How?" Mayura asked.
"He never said." Cat Noir said.
The Miraculous wielder just gave each other worried looks.
Back at Biarritz, Dragnarok was sneaking around, trying to find the keys for the cages.
"If I were handling the key, where would I put it?" Dragnarok muttered to himself as he looked over the area. He then noticed some Grublins and Shadow Ape coming to his location. "Looks like I have some company..."
As Dragnarok tries to hide for view, he steps on a bone of a long dead prisoner, causing a loud snap to rang through the air. Hearing this, the Grublins and Shadow Ape grabbed their weapons and started to march to where Dragnarok was hiding.
"Screw it." The draconic hero said as he grabbed his pendant. "Armor Up!" Once he summoned his Dark Armor Dragnarok fired a beam of Aether, blasting the Grublins and Shadow Apes away. "Looks like I'm going to fight my way through."
And with that, Dragnarok charges at the Grublins and Shadow Apes.
Meanwhile, Bandicoot was sneaking around on the other side of the city when several alarms went off, startling the orange hero.
"Hold it right there!" A voice shouted, sounding that it came from... Above?
Looking up, Bandicoot saw someone jumping down at him... With a axe in their hands!
Acting quick, Bandicoot rolled to the side to avoid being sliced in half.
Getting back onto his feet, Bandicoot saw a male humanoid with white feathered wings coming out his back. He had light skin, brown eyes, brown hair with a white streak in the center, and was wearing a white feathered mask that had a yellow beak-like part that covered the figure's nose. He was wearing a black chest plate over his feathered covered upper-body. His lower-body was covered in brown fur and had clawed feet. His arms and hands were like that of a bird. Finally, he had a tail like a lion. The axe he was carrying was a single bladed one, with the blade shaped like a feathered wing.
"I am Stormer Gryphon, one of Lord Eldritch's eight generals, and the wind of destruction!" The general declared before glaring at Bandicoot. "So you're that lowly marsupial that Dragnarok drags around." Bandicoot just glared at him. "Not a talker, huh? No matter... After I kill you, I'll deliver Dragnarok to Lord Eldritch. I won't let you or anyone else get in the way of our new world!"
Stormer Gryphon then raises his axe into air, where a bolt of lightning struck it before slamming it into the ground, sending a wave of electricity at Bandicoot, who just barely avoided the attack by cart wheeling out of way. The Homunculus then flaps his wings, creating strong winds that blew Bandicoot back a bit.
Bandicoot then takes a Wumpa fruit from his pocket and throws it at Stormer Gryphon, who simply slices the fruit from out of the air. However, this is what Bandicoot wanted, as he quickly charges in and spins right into the Homunculus.
"Grrr... No bad." Stormer Gryphon said as he was pushed backed. "But can you dodge this?!"
The Homunculus then starts to fire bolts of lightning from his left hand at Bandicoot, who jumped around to avoid getting hit, only to get zapped a few times. Stormer Gryphon then jumps into the air, ready to perform a overhead strike.
"Axe time!" He shouted before swinging his axe down at Bandicoot, who dodged the last second, causing the axe to hit the ground, kicking up dust. When it cleared, Stormer Gryphon saw that Bandicoot was gone. "Come on, come on, wherever you are~"
That when Bandicoot jumps out from behind a nearby trash can and tackles the general to the ground. As Stormer Gryphon tries to shake him off, Bandicoot managed to grab the Homunculus' axe and throws it into a nearby alleyway. However, this allows Stormer Gryphon to shake him off.
"That's it! I'm done dealing with you!" The Homunculus shouted before summoning strong gusts of wind that was strong enough to pick up nearby rubble, which was then launched at Bandicoot, who didn't have time to dodge and was buried in it.
Digging his way out, Bandicoot saw that Stormer Gryphon had reclaimed his axe and was marching towards him.
"Once I'm done with you, there won't be enough left of you to fill in a match box!" The Homunculus shouted in absolute fury. "You know what? I'll slaughter a few of the prisoners just to calm myself down once I'm finished with you."
Upon hearing that, Bandicoot felt a burning sensation within him. Suddenly, his eyes glow orange, and a tornado of orange energy form around him and his adversary.
"What is this?!" Stormer Gryphon shouted as he swings his axe at the energy tornado, only for it to disintegrate.
Bandicoot then grabbed the Homunculus and jumped into the air before throwing Stormer Gryphon to the ground. Bandicoot then begins to spin, absorbing the energy tornado before crashing down onto the Homunculus, drilling into his body.
Once done, Bandicoot stopped spinning and jumped off, where he saw Stormer Gryphon in the earth, finally defeated.
"That... was awesome!" A voice shouted from behind the orange hero. Turning around, Bandicoot saw it was Dragnarok. "You really showed him."
"I can't believe it... Beaten by a damn marsupial..." Stormer Gryphon muttered, getting the heroes' attention. "I expected to at least lose to Dragnarok... But him? How embarrassing..."
"Everyone has their day." Dragnarok said.
Stormer Gryphon simply snorted at that as cracks began to form on his body.
"Idiots..." The Homunculus muttered before looking at the heroes as more cracks formed. "Let me tell you something about Lord Eldritch... When he was stripped of everything, and was left to die in the desert, he prayed for the gods, or any form of deity to help him. And when all seemed lost, one did."
"Malefor..." Dragnarok said with a growl.
"Exactly..." Stormer Gryphon said as crack completely covered his body. "I may be defeated, but Lord Eldritch will never fall!"
And with that, Stormer Gryphon shattered into small shards of wind and electricity, leaving behind a eagle's feather with lions fur at the base.
Before anyone could say anything, Bandicoot suddenly fainted.
"Bandicoot?!" Dragnarok shouted, only to get no response. "Aw crap! We need to get to Fu's!"
Pocketing the feather, Dragnarok picks Bandicoot up and flies to Paris.
Meanwhile, in his lair, Eldritch saw the battle through his giant crystal.
"Half of my generals defeated... This is starting to get annoying..." Eldritch said with a growl. "Still, my plans are still operational... If only they know endgame."
In Paris, at Fu's Massage Shop, Drake, Spyro, Cynder, Ignitus, Aku Aku, Fu, and Ashley were looking after Chris and Crash, the former laying on a table, the latter on the former's chest, bot completely exhausted.
"What's wrong with them?" Drake asked.
"They're fine, just exhausted from fighting Stormer Gryphon." Aku Aku said. "However, they won't be able to help you from this point on."
"Wait... Are you saying-?" Drake said in a shocked tone.
"You'll have to fight Eldritch and the remaining four generals on you're own." Aku Aku said in a sad tone.
"So I'm now doing this alone?" Drake asked.
"You're not alone." Cynder said as she and Spyro landed on Drake's shoulders.
"We'll help you every step of the way." Spyro said.
"Thanks guys." Drake said. "Watch out Eldritch, here I come!"
And that's that! Bandicoot had his time to shine, defeating a general by himself and using a Fury attack of his own. However, this left completely exhausted and unable to Dragnarok on this quest any farther, meaning for the rest of the season, Dragnarok will fight the remain generals alone.
