Hello everyone, and today, Dragnarok will face off against the second to last general, Kraken Hydrown!

Season 2.5 Opening( I Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin)(I do not own the song)

Looking over Notre Dame, Dragnarok let out a sigh.

While he was able to put the fire out, the old church still suffered from heavy damage.

"I need to stop Eldritch, because who knows what he'll do next..." Dragnarok muttered to himself. "I better get back to Fu's."

And with that, Dragnarok took off.

Meanwhile, Eldritch was looking through a book of some kind. The book had a black cover, with the symbol of Aether in the center of the front cover. He wrote a few things down into it before closing it.

Eldritch then look at his giant crystal, which view Dragnarok heading towards Fu's massage shop.

"Dragnarok... You have so much potential... Yet you waste it on these pathetic humans!" Eldritch said with a growl. "Can you see that you're above them now?!"

That's when he received a transmission on his crystal, which showed a figure.

"Lord Eldritch, permission to speak with you?" The figure asked.

"Ah, Kraken Hydrown! What do you want?" Eldritch asked in a surprised and irritated tone.

"I have spotted Dragnarok heading to that massage shop, should I engage?" Kraken Hydrown asked.

"You don't need my permission to fight Dragnarok, just keep him distracted at the very least!" Eldritch said in a irritated tone, his left eye twitching.

"Of course, Lord Eldritch." Kraken Hydrown said before cutting the transmission.

Rubbing his forehead, Eldritch let out a loud sigh.

"My plan is behind schedule, six of my eight generals are dead, and Dragnarok is still a thorn in my side..." Eldritch muttered in a tired tone. "I'm starting to feel those 5000 years effecting me..."

Back with Dragnarok, the draconic hero entered the massage shop and heads to the room where Chris and Crash were resting. Entering, Dragnarok saw the two up and moving, but rather weakly, as Chris was using a cane to keep himself up while Crash floated close to the floor.

"I see you guys are getting better." The draconic hero said as he watches Chris pick up a cup of water with a shaky arm.

That's when Fu, Ashley, and Aku Aku enter the room.

"I see that you have returned." Ashley said. "So did you stop the fire?"

"Sort of..." Dragnarok said in a unsure tone.

The draconic hero then explain want had happen, telling them his encounter with Phoenix Daybreaker and what he had learned after the battle.

"To target innocent civilians just to make an example... I have no words!" Fu said in a angry tone.

"Still, we did managed to get so more info on Eldritch's past." Ashley said, tapping her chin. "From what we've gathered so far, Eldritch was born alone, his mother dying during the birth and his father nowhere to be seen. He was found by the Order of the Guardians, only to be placed in the care on a cruel instructor. He was soon given the Cat Miraculous, only to be stripped of it some time later for three reason. First was using the Miraculous to take his anger over his failed romance with his Ladybug out on other people. Second was killing someone in revenge. The third reason remains unknown."

"Sounds about right." Dragnarok said with a nod.

That's when a arrow crashes through the window and imbeds itself into a wall.

"Get down!" Dragnarok shouted, causing everyone to drop onto the ground.

After a while of nothing happening, everyone gets back up, with Fu going over to the arrow to inspect it, spotting a piece of paper taped to it.

"Hey, there's a note attach to it." He said as he grabs the paper and looks it over. "Dragnarok, meet me the entrance of the Louvre Museum. Sign, KH."

"Sounds like another one of those generals. What do you plan to do?" Aku Aku asked.

"I've got to meet this guy. If I don't, who knows what he'll do." Dragnarok said.

"Just be careful." Ashley said.

"I will." Dragnarok said before grabbing his pendant. "Armor Up!" Once the Dark Armor was on, the draconic hero took off.

Arriving to Louvre, Dragnarok spotted a figure standing that the entrance.

The figure was a male, humanoid figure wearing a ocean blue jumpsuit. His skin was grey and he was wearing a helmet designed after a squids head. It was blue and grey in color and was covering the figure's eyes and nose. Coming out the back of the helmet was ink black hair. The helmet had jagged eye holes, each showing three, small glowing green eyes. He was wearing a grey chest plate with a green upside down triangle in the center. The figure was wearing grey boots and grey bracers. Finally, he had grey tentacles coming out of his body. Two big ones coming out his shoulders and four smaller ones coming out of his back. The tentacles themselves were strange, as they seem biological, yet mechanical at the same time. Strapped to the figure's side was a katana with the handle in the shape of a squid's head.

"Ah, Dragnarok! Glad to see that you got my message." The figure said.

"Indeed I have. And you must be KH?" The draconic hero asked.

"It stands for Kraken Hydrown, which is my name." The figure said, introducing himself. "And as you probably could've guessed, I am one of Lord Eldritch's generals."

"I see... So why did you call me here?" Dragnarok asked.

"You see, when I got out of that tomb, I spent my freedom looking for someone to duel with." Kraken Hydrown said, caressing the handle of his katana. "And so far, I've met nothing but disappointment. Even that fencing instructor of yours didn't stand a chance, as his "special move" was pathetically predictable." This surprises Dragnarok. "Then again, I did get 3000 years worth of training."

"How was that move predictable? It gave me and the others a tough time." Dragnarok said.

"Believe me when I say, that I've seen techniques that are far more advance than that." Kraken Hydrown said. "Anyway, I wish to train you."

"Train me?!" Dragnarok shouted in a shocked tone. "I thought you wanted to have a duel with me!"

"I do, but not with your current skillset." Kraken Hydrown said. "Until then, you will refer to me as Sensei."

"Sensei?" Dragnarok asked.

"You see, it means-." Kraken Hydrown said, only to be interrupted.

"I know what it means. I'm asking why should I call you that." Dragnarok clarified. "I mean, aren't you going to capture and/or kill me?"

"I like to do things my way." Kraken Hydrown said before drawing his katana. "Now then, time for your first lesson!"

Back at the massage shop, Fu, Ashley, and Aku Aku were looking at the map again.

"There has got to be something we're not seeing..." Fu muttered as he scanned the map.

A while later, Ashley's eyes widened.

"Wait a minute..." She said before grabbing a pen.

She then began drawing lines between the marked cities on the map. Once she was done, on the map was...

A Pentagram.

"What in the world?" Fu said a surprised tone.

Back with Dragnarok, he was swinging his Aether sword at Kraken Hydrown, who either dodged it or blocked it skillfully.

"You seem to be getting the hang of this rather quickly, impressive." Kraken Hydrown said with a smirk. "Now let's see if you can handle this!"

The Homunculus then makes a mad dash at Dragnarok, katana raised over his head. The draconic hero holds his Aether sword over head to block, only for Kraken Hydrown smack the draconic hero's side with the blunt side of his katana.

"Argh!" Dragnarok shouted, holding his side in pain.

"Always expect your opponent to use dirty tricks, such as fake outs." The Homunculus said.

"Got it." Dragnarok said as he straitened himself out, the pain subsiding.

"Good, now let's continue." Kraken Hydrown said before taking a stance.

At the massage shop, Fu, Ashley, and Aku Aku were looking at the Pentagram in wonder.

"A Pentagram? Does this have something to do with that location of the crystal towers?" Ashley asked.

"Now let's not jump to conclusions, this could be just a coincidence." Fu said.

"No, Ashley is right. Recently, I've been feeling strange magic in air, and it seems to be going from one tower to another. "Aku Aku said. "Whatever Eldritch is planning, I have a feeling it goes beyond just this world..."

Back with our draconic hero, he and Kraken Hydrown were staring each other down.

"You are ready. Now then, let's see if you can defeat the master." The Homunculus said.

By an unheard signal, the two combatants charges at each other, their swords clashing. The two then push each other back.

Kraken Hydrown then sends a huge wave of water at Dragnarok, who countered by freezing the wave solid.

However, the Homunculus jumped onto the frozen wave and stretches' his tentacles at Dragnarok, one of which wraps around the draconic hero's leg, lifting him into the air.

"What the-?!" Dragnarok shouted in surprise.

"Like I said, always expect your opponent to use dirty tricks." Kraken Hydrown said, wagging a finger in a taunting matter.

Dragnarok said nothing as he released a electrical discharge, forcing the Homunculus to drop him. The draconic hero then launches a fireball at Kraken Hydrown, who simply countered by firing a stream of water from his left palm.

"Come on! You can do better than that!" The Homunculus shouted before sending all of his tentacles at the draconic hero.

Using Dragon Time, Dragnarok ran past the tentacles and delivered a upward slash, leaving a deep cut in the Homunculus.

Kraken Hydrown just stand still for a few seconds before falling onto his knees.

"I'm done... Good job." He said as cracks began to form on his body.

"I did learn from the best." Dragnarok said.

"True..." Kraken Hydrown said with a smile. "So... I'm sure you know two of the reasons Lord Eldritch was stripped of the Cat Miraculous, right?"

"From Temporal Nagabind, police brutally. From Phoenix Daybreaker, murder." Dragnarok said. "Those were two out of three reasons."

"Well here's the third reason. Lord Eldritch did Robin Hood before Robin Hood made it cool." Kraken Hydrown said as more cracks formed, getting a confused look from Dragnarok. "You see, Lord Eldritch would steal from the rich and give to the poor, while keeping a little on the side for himself. However, the Order saw the last bit as corruption. Plus, they were pressured by the nobles Lord Eldritch robbed to have him punished."

"I see, but I have one more thing to ask." Dragnarok said. "Why train me? Why go against your master?"

"Is it weird to say that I saw a bit of myself inside you?" Kraken Hydrown asked, getting a surprised look from Dragnarok. "In fact, before becoming Kraken Hydrown, I used to look a little like you." With cracks covering his body, the Homunculus hands the draconic hero his katana. "Take my blade, and do me one last favor... Kick Eldritch's ass."

"Of course... Sensei." Dragnarok said with a sad smile.

That's when Kraken Hydrown shatters into small shards of water, leaving behind a single tentacle.

Pocketing the tentacle and strapping the katana's scabbard to his side, Dragnarok flew back to Fu's, a single tear running down his eye.

Meanwhile, Eldritch saw the battle with a look of fury.

"Kraken Hydrown, you traitor!" He shouted in anger. Eldritch then switches the crystals view, having it show a tall figure. "Listen up! You're the last general standing. DO. NOT. FAIL. ME!"

"Of course, Lord Eldritch. Your word is absolute." The figure said.

And that's that.

Fun fact, Hydrown is the combination of the words Hydro and Drown.

Anyway, there is only one general left, and Dragnarok will face off against him in the next chapter.

Until then, farewell!
