Chapter 66 Legend of Everfree

Rai was inside of the bus to camp with the girls doing they're own thing, next to him is Twilight and she was sleeping.
"Well this should be a interesting day." Rai said.
"No!" He saw Twilight shaking in fear in her sleep. "Stop!" She wakes up.
"Twilight!" Rai holds her and she looks at him. "It's just a dream."
"We can't stop, silly! We're not there yet!" Pinkie Pie said.
Rai stares at her with a really look.
"Hey, are you okay?" Sunset asked Twilight.
"Heh. I'm fine.." Twilight told her.
"It didn't look like it." Rai said.
"We are gonna have so much fun! We're gonna roast marshmallows and eat marshmallows and sleep on marshmallow pillows!" Pinkie got excited.
"Yeah, probably not gonna do that." Rainbow Dash said.
"It wouldn't be Pinkie Pie if she didn't." Rai said.
"Well i'm excited too." Sonata said. "I always wanted to go to camp."
Then Celestia calls they're attention with Luna at her side. "Attention, students, we're almost there. But before we arrive, we just wanted to say how proud we are of you for raising enough money to go on this class field trip."
"When we were your age, we made some of our favorite memories in these woods, and we're sure you will, too." Luna said.
"Now who's excited for Camp Everfree?!" Celeste asked and they all cheered.
Rai smiles and he looks outside a window to see the woods, he then narrows his eyes as he saw a blonde man in the woods, he turns around and all Rai could see was two blue eyes and his blonde hair, he ate a apple before they pass by completly.
Rai double checks and Twilight noticed. "Is something wrong?"
"No, it's nothing." He said.
The human undead sensed it and chuckles. "So your here... Well I hope to see you soon."
The bus stopped at the entrance and they went out to see the camp.
"Isn't Camp Everfree just beautiful? I can't wait until we have our first nature walk." Fluttershy said.
"I definitely wanna go on one of those." Spike said.
"You wanna see all the adorable woodland creatures, too?" Fluttershy said.
"Yeah! Specifically squirrels. More specifically, so I can chase 'em!" Spike barks.
"Just don't chase Gizmo and nothing bad happens to you." Rai said and Gizmo nodded.
"I'm just lookin' forward to roughin' it. I'm gonna make my own shelter, forage for food..." Apple said.
"Uh, you know they provide us with food and tents, right?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Yup! Still gonna forage though." Applejack said.
Rarity sighs. "I'm just after some R&R. The past year has all been a bit too much for my tastes."
"I'll say! We fought three evil sirens who tried to hypnotize everybody with their singing, one ridiculously competitive rival school, monster Blade and two demon friends!" Pinkie looks Sunset and Twilight. "No offense."
"None taken." Sunset looks at Twilight. "You'll get used to it."
"Yeah, I was pretty bad." Sonata said.
"Yep. Canterlot High has become a regular magic magnet. Gonna be nice gettin' away to a place where we don't have to worry about that kinda stuff." Applejack said.
"Yeah, even more with the monsters that used to appear, which now have started to be less." Rai found that strange.
Flash then came and gave Twilight her bad. "Here you go, Twilight."
"Thanks. It's... Flash, right?" She asks.
"Yup, that's me! And you're you. And we don't know each other very well." He walks away.
Rai facepalms at the pathetic display he just saw. "Real smooth."
"What was that about?" Twilight asked.
"It's because he met your counterpart in the other world, remember her?" Rai asked.
"Yeah?" Twilight said.
"Flash kind had a thing for her." Sunset said.
"Oh." Twilight got surprised.
Then they heard the speakers. "Hey, everyone! If you could start heading to the courtyard, that would be rad! It's time to start the best week of camp ever!"
They walked to the courtyard to see two people at a gazebo being a guy and a girl.
"Hi, everyone! Welcome to Camp Everfree! I'm Gloriosa Daisy, your camp director! Think of me as your friendly camp and nature guide. And this is my brother, Timber Spruce!"
"Think of me as that awesome guy... who should always be invited to fun things." Timber said.
"We aim to please, so before we hand out our tent assignments, we'd like to hear from all of you. You're free to do whatever you like here." Gloriosa said.
"Uh, except hike near the rock quarry. That's off-limits." Timber warned them.
"Y-Yes, but otherwise, your options are wide open. So what activities will make this the very best week of your lives ever?" Gloriosa said.
"Ooh! Rock climbing!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Done!" Gloriosa said.
"Archery!"
"Of course!"
"Tetherball!"
"Naturally!"
Rai stops her arms and shakes his head no. "Let someone else ask."
"Arts and crafts!" Bulk said making many look at him. "My mom... needs new pot holders."
"I'll supply the looms!" Gloriosa said.
"Cookie decorating." Pinkie said.
"Ooh, I do make a mean sugar cookie." Gloriosa likes that one.
"Early morning nature walks?" Fluttershy said.
"With walking sticks for everyone!" Gloriosa said.
"Pizza night!" Sonata said.
"I'll get the stuff to cook." Gloriosa nodded.
"Ooh! Me! Oh, uh... a fashion show! Where I design the most fabulous camp looks inspired by today's hottest trends and have them modeled by my classmates in a gorgeous outdoor setting!" Rarity said.
"A camp tradition!" Gloriosa said.
"We never done that." Timber said.
"I'll be taking requests the rest of the time you're here, so if there's anything you'd like to do, anything you need, just ask." She said.
"What about the camp gift? That was my favorite Camp Everfree tradition." Celestia asked.
"The camp gift! Of course!" Gloriosa said.
Timber then whispers to her. "Really?"
"Yes really." She said.
Rai noticed how they're whispering. "Hmmm, something is up."
"Every year, campers work together to create something useful. A gift for future campers. Working toward this common goal is key to forming the strong bonds that will last well beyond your time here at camp! Which is why it's so important. This gazebo was a gift from last year's group. Oh, oh, oh, and the totem pole and the sundial were also made by campers!" Gloriosa explained.
"The sundial was our year's gift!" Celestia said.
Luna coughs. "Even though "some people" thought it was a little impractical, since the sundial can't be used at night."
"You all seem like a-a really amazing group. So I'm certain you'll come up with something inspiring to leave behind." Gloriosa said.
Rai looks around before he noticed a blue bird fly up to the sky. "A blue bird?"
"What?! Where?!" The siblings looked up.
"I saw it." Sonata points at it.
"A camp tradition!" Gloriosa smiles.
"I haven't seen one in a long time!" Timber said.
"What's important about that bird?" Twilight asked.
"It said the feathers that we call Blue Feathers are special, as when a person gives it to someone that like, they'll have a strong bond and end up together." Timber said.
The girls got stunned as Sunset smiles thinking about Rai giving her one of the feathers, but the girls of her group all thought the same.
Then they saw a limo come and a guy gets out.
"Filthy Rich! So nice to see you." Gloriosa said. "What are you doing here?! Camp is just getting started!"
"Just takin' in the scenery, Gloriosa Daisy. It's so... hmm... relaxin'." He said.
"Well, you can look around when camp is over. Now, if you don't mind..." She motions him to leave in his limo.
"Fine." He goes inside and drives off.
"Filthy Rich is, uh, an alumni of the camp. He likes to check on his old stomping grounds every now and again. But enough about him. Find your tents and put away your things. We've got the best week of camp ever to begin!" Gloriosa said.
Rai thinks about that guy but also looks up to where that bird went. "Maybe I should go check around."
His first day of Camp is about to begin and he wonders where to find that bird since it can be very important.
While the man from before watches while eating a apple. "Well I wonder how they'll work this out."
Note: Heres part 1 of Legend of Everfree, more will be shown later on and the bird is based on Harvest Moon with the Blue Feathers if anyone wanted to know where the idea came from.
