Hello everyone, and today, the final chapter of Season 2.5, aka the Eldritch Arc!
Also, Eldritch's voice actor is Ronald M Banks, who voiced Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe, Mortal Kombat 9, and Mortal Kombat X, with a slight demonic filter.
Anyway, let's begin!
Season 2.5 Opening( I Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin)(I do not own the song)
It's been a couple of days since Eldritch was defeated and the world was saved by Dragnarok. Everyone was abuzz, as the whole world was talking about the draconic hero.
"Who is Dragnarok? Is he a new member of the United HeroeZ?" A reporter from New York asked.
"Maybe he's a former student of Wu Shifu?" A reporter from Shanghai theorized.
Back in Paris, Nadja and her camera crew were in front of the Louvre, where a crowd was forming in front of a set-up stage, where a stand and two sheet covered things stood.
"Hello everyone, I'm Nadja Chamack. For the last thirteen days, all of France was under the thumb of Eldritch, a immortal sorcerer who was responsible for bring Malefor to our world 5000 years ago." She said, pictures of the destruction Eldritch caused appeared next to her on the screen. "He managed to capture Ladybug, Cat Noir, and the others. He even capture Hawk Moth and his cronies. But when all hope seemed lost, Dragnarok came and saved the day!" Nadja then notices Andre going onto the stage. "Looks like the Mayor has his speech ready."
"Greetings citizens of Paris. For the last thirteen days, we've have enslaved, tortured, and humiliated. Families were forcefully separated, many have perished, bless their souls, and other things I wouldn't dare mention." Andre said. "As a threat bigger than Hawk Moth could ever be had risen. His name was Eldritch, and not even Ladybug could stop him. However, someone did. When he first appeared, we thought he was an Akuma, then a villain. However, time after time, he had showed us that he's anything but. His name... is Dragnarok!"
The crowd cheered as fireworks were launched into the air, all purple and black in color.
"To honor him, we've made him a statue." The Mayor said before pulling one of the sheets off, revealing a statue depicting Dragnarok in a heroic pose. "Not only that, but we've have something for the museum."
Andre then takes the second sheet off, revealing what was under it, causing the crowd to gasp.
It was Eldritch's skeleton!
"Here he is! The mastermind behind it all, or at least, what's left of him." Andre said. The crowd booed and jeered at the skeleton, some throwing rocks at it. "Better let it out of your systems, as once it's in the museum, no one is allowed to touch it."
"Incredible! This is truly something!" Nadja said as stares at the statue and skeleton. She then turns back to the camera. "But one question hangs in the minds of everyone. Where is Dragnarok right now? If this reporter had to guess, he is taking a nice long rest."
The answer to that question is simple, he was in his room with his friends.
"I knew you could do it dude." Brandish said.
"Yeah..." Drake said, rubbing the back of the his head. "I'll admit... There were times I thought of giving up..."
"Hey, it was tough on all of us. But we've managed to push through." Ombra said.
"Thanks guys." Drake said.
That's when a portal appeared in front of them.
"That's our ticket home." Aku Aku said before facing Drake. "You indeed did great. If you ever need advise, feel free to visit us."
"I'll think about it." Drake said.
As Chris, Crash, and Aku Aku walked into the portal, everyone else waved goodbye.
Meanwhile, in his lair, Gabriel was talking to Hestia and Nathalie.
"What Dragnarok did was incredible! The way he restored France is similar to the Ladybug Miraculous." Gabriel said, looking out the lair's window.
"I know... Quite strange..." Hestia muttered before widening her eyes. "Wait... Gabriel, don't tell me-?"
"No, I'm still going after the Miraculouses." Gabriel said before facing his partners in crime. "But there is nothing wrong with have a backup plan."
"Sir, we have very little understanding of Dragnarok's power." Nathalie said in a tone of caution.
"But I do have something that could help us." Gabriel said before pulling out a familiar black book with a Aethercrest in the center.
"A book?" Hestia asked.
"Indeed. You see, when Dragnarok went after Eldritch in the rift, he dropped this." Gabriel said as he flips through a few of the book's pages. "While I can't understand most of the language, I was able to understand this isn't a ordinary book. It's a spell book, Eldritch's spell book!"
"Eldritch's spell book?! Sir, I'm sorry if this sounds out of line, but I don't think you should be having that." Nathalie said in a nervous tone. "Especially with it being originally owned by that monster."
"Plus, like you said, you can't read it." Hestia said while crossing her arms.
"I can't read most of book, but there are a few pages written in French." Gabriel said.
"Whatever, just keep that thing away from me. It gives me the creeps." Hestia said, glaring at the book.
Later that day, when the moon was high and the stars were out, Drake was getting ready for bed.
"Well, that was one heck of a adventure." Spyro said.
"Yeah..." Drake said in a low, which the dragons noticed.
"Is something the matter Drake?" Cynder asked.
"It's just... Part of me wished that I thrown you two in the rift to the Dragon Realms." Drake said.
"I know you want to keep your promise, but you would've been trapped in Convexity." Spyro said.
"Plus, even if you did managed to get out, Hawk Moth and Damselfly are still on the loose. Not only that, this Mayura person is now helping them." Cynder added.
"I guess your right." Drake said before yawning. "I'd best get some sleep."
Tucking himself in, Drake fell asleep as Spyro and Cynder snuggle on their pillow.
Meanwhile, in the darkest depths of Drake's soul, Malefor, bounded in chains, had a dark smirk on his face.
"Drake... You are certainly something..." The Dark Master said. "You are indeed a worthy host. Or at least, a worthy successor."
And with that, Malefor let's out a evil laugh.
Meanwhile, in the Egyptian section of the Louvre stood Eldritch's skeleton, held up by a metal pole.
Suddenly, the skull starts to slowly turns to the reader, a orange glow in the eye sockets.
Everything then went black for second before white words formed in the center.
I AM STILL HERE
Eldritch's laugh then echoes in the distance.
And that's that!
