Chapter 70 Legend of Everfree 5

Rai was walking towards camp and looking around.
"Okay, theres someone nearby making things go crazy, well better be ready for..." He looks back and saw Nemu. "Nemu!" He falls down in surprise.
"Greetings." She bows.
Rai got stunned to see her. "What? Why are you here and... How are you here?"
"Captain Kurotsuchi managed to find a way to link between the worlds." She said.
"Of course he did." He mutters. "Did anyobody else came?"
"Hey." He also saw Rangiku come out with a smile.
"Rangiku!" He got surprised.
"We came to see how you were doing, so what is this place?" Rangiku asked.
"Camp Everfree." He said.
"Camp? So you were at camp." Rangiku looks foward.
"Yes, what if someone sees you." He said.
"Oh don't worry, humans can't see spirits." Rangiku said.
"Maybe not, but this place has been going crazy with powers with the girls." He said.
"Really?" She said.
"Yes, I didn't get affected because the Hogyoku stopped the negative parts." He said.
"Oh good, but what about your friends?" Rangiku asked.
"From what I heard they've been getting new powers as long as stay here." He said.
"Do you know what it could be?" Nemu asked.
Rai thinks about it and remembers the story they were told. "Maybe... Gaia Everfree."
"Gaia?" Rangiku asked.
"Yeah, so if your coming can you at least look out for anything?" He asked them.
"Oh sure." She nodded.
Nemu nodded and they went off.
Rai goes back to camp and checks his tent for anything.
"Hey Rai!" Gloriosa came. "How's everything?"
"Oh, it's fine." He said.
"I came to bring some new blankets." She gives it to them. "So what are you doing? I haven't seen you for some time."
"Oh nothing, just checking the woods." He said.
"Well it is nice your enjoying the wild life, but you could particate the camp events." She said.
"I know, but..." He tries to think of something. "I found the bird."
She blinks. "Oh really, that's amazing, you got your feather."
"More like feathers!" He shows his trunk and she saw multiple making her stunned. "I think that bird was mocking me."
"Still, generous of it." She said.
He closes it and said: "It always comes at the wrong time."
"I see, well better be ready it's almost time for the lantern making." Gloriosa said.
"Oh cool." He said.
"Yeah, so be ready." She goes off.
"Maybe going to the events will be good." He shrugs.
He might as well relax for now, the other two are looking for what might be causing trouble.
Later
Everyone was making lanterns and Rai was sitting with Twilight and she was looking nervous.
"Something wrong?" He asked while they make they're laterns.
"It's just, everyone is getting powers and I think it might be Midnight." She told him.
"Twilight, it's not her. You can't be scared because of what happened. Your just letting your fear take over you." He said.
"But..." She tried to talk.
"Your not her, your you." He said and she smiles a bit.
He then shows her his lantern and saw his four rider symbols. "I'm always the ace that saves the day."
She chuckles at what he said.
Sunset saw them getting along and frowns.
"What's wrong?" Rarity asked her.
"It seems they're getting too close." He said.
The others got nervous since they got proposed to Rai when he showed them the feather.
"It's probably nothing." Applejack said.
Rai takes out a stack of cards of poker, and he looks at the ace card.
He wonders and swings it foward without anyone watching, it then cuts a leaf and got stuck to a tree.
Rai got surprised since he has been getting some kind of power, and the deck he bought to play with just started to react so he tested it out a bit.
"Okay everyone, it's time to watch your lanterns fly." Gloriosa said.
The others started to take they're laterns to the docks, they light up the candles inside of them.
"Go." She said.
They threw them up and they started to fly into the sky.
Rai smiles and he noticed Pinkie's fell down to the ground.
"Oh well, I get to eat it." She starts too eat the marshmallows attached to it.
He chuckles at her way of thinking.
Twilight saw hers with Rai and smiles a bit.
Later at night
Rai was still awake and he looks around.
"Okay, something is up here." He said.
He then heard a sound and he saw Sunset go into the woods.
"Sunset?" He said.
Rai follows her there, after walking for a bit he saw Sunset with Twilight.
"Girls." He got they're attention.
"Rai!" They got surprised.
"What are you two doing here?" He asked.
"Twilight tried to leave." Sunset said surprising him.
"I'm sorry, but Midnight Sparkle is always trying to get to me, and i'm sure the girls are getting infected by me, Sunset got a power from touching me." She said.
"Twilight, it's not you, from what i've been able to see it's like the place." He said.
"The place?" Sunset points down at the ground.
"So, i'm not letting you leave." He looks at Twlight. "No matter what."
This made her blush a bit.
They heard a sound and looked to see Timber wielding a axe making the girls scream and he screams back.
"Timber?" They said.
"Oh hey." He said.
"What are you doing here?" Rai asked.
"Oh, just..." He pulls a cart with wood. "Chopping some wood."
"At this hour." Sunset said.
"Because Gloriosa would go nuts doing it." He said making them chuckle. "But what are you doing here?"
"Oh you see..." Twilight was nervous.
"The girls came after me." Rai lied surprising them. "I was trying to hide something important."
"What?" He asked.
Rai whispers. "I got the feather." He got stunned.
"Oooooh, I understand. Don't worry it's safe with me." He said. "You don't want to stay out or you'll face... Gaia Everfree!" He made a scary voice.
"Come on, she's just a story you told us." Sunset said.
"Oh she's real, come on i'll take you back to camp." Timber holds Twilight's hand and they walked foward together.
Rai frowns seeing that but it didn't seem like she was into it.
They then noticed dust like glitter come out of his pocket.
"Well I think we might have found the reason why he thinks she's real." Sunset said.
"You believe he's making this up?" Rai said.
"Of course, why else would he try to scare everyone?" Sunset said.
"I don't believe that since I got attacked by someone." He said surprising her. "So, it isn't Gaia Everfree theres someone else here."
"So you say, even if it isn't Gaia Everfree theres still someone here that's dangerous." Sunset said.
"Yes, so trust me Sunset, someone dangerou is here." Rai warned her.
"Well your normally are right about this." She said.
"Yes, so watch over the girls while I try to look at something." He said and she nodded.
"Hey, what are you hidding Rai?" Sunset asked.
He nervous. "Oh it's nothing."
"Rai." She said.
He looks around before running off.
"You get back here!" She chases after him.
Note: Yeah Rangiku and Nemu came because Mayuri found a way to go there, now the others are doing more of the events with Rai telling Sunset something is there and to be ready, to answer a review: "alistail10897 The bands will appear later on and thanks for the support."
