Entry #76

Note to self, whenever there is a big event, expect Hawk Moth to send a akuma. I really should've realize that by now...

Season 3 Opening Intro(Halo by Starset)(I don't own the song)

In his room, Drake was writing down ideas to use his elements in creative ways.

"Maybe I could use Poison... No, that won't work." He muttered, erasing what he wrote down. "How about... No, that won't work either..."

That's when Drake's phone ringed, snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Hello?" He said, after picking it up. "Ah, Marinette, what's up?" Drake listened for a bit before widening his eyes. "Wait... You want what?"

A while later, Drake was with Marinette, standing in front of a house.

"So let me get this straight... You want meet your grandfather, who you've never seen before, so you can invited him to your Dad's birthday, and want me to accompany you?" Drake asked.

"From what my parents and grandma told me, he's stuck in the past and not very social." Marinette said while nervously rubbing her arms. "So I thought I needed a... buffer of sorts."

"Then why not ask Alya or Nino?" Drake asked with a raised eyebrow.

"They're out on a date." Marinette said. "Besides, you're a charismatic person."

"Thanks?" Drake said in a unsure tone. The two then stare at the front gate for a while. "What are you waiting for, Marinette?"

"If I tell him who I am right away, he won't listen to me, just like with mom." Marinette said before ringing the doorbell.

"What do you want?" A voice said through the intercom.

"Uh... I'm... a friend?" Marinette said nervously, getting a facepalm from Drake.

"I don't have any friends." The voice said before hanging up.

"This won't be easy." Marinette muttered before ringing the doorbell again.

"What do you want?"

"Hello, sir. It's the mail lady." Marinette said.

"Do what you usually do. Throw the mail in the trash." The voice said before hanging up.

Looking over to the mailbox, Drake and Marinette sees that it empties into a trashcan.

"Wow..." Drake muttered as Marinette let's out a sigh before ringing to doorbell yet again.

"What do you want?"

"It's for the firefighter's calendar?" Marinette said, getting a 'Are you serious?' look from Drake.

"Ah, doesn't need the fire. I hate calendars!" The voice said before hanging up.

"There's no use, it's hopeless." The bluenette said as she started to walk away.

"Don't give up yet." Drake said, trying to cheer his friend up.

That's when a van pulls up. Coming out of the van was a man carrying a sack of flour, who walks up to the gate and rings the doorbell.

"What do you want?"

"Your flour's here, Mr Dupain!" The man said.

"Oh! Come in, come in! The door's open." The voice said.

Marinette suddenly runs up to the gate and opens into for the flour delivery man.

"Hello! I'm Marinette, Mr Dupain's granddaughter! I was just about to go in, myself." She said before pointing to the sack of flour. "You can leave me the sack, I'll bring it to him. It'll be a nice surprise."

"Rolland has a granddaughter?" The man asked.

"He sure does!" Marinette said with a smile.

The man smiles back before hand her the sack, causing the bluenette to groan under the weight.

"I should probably help you..." The man said.

"Oh no! It's... light." Marinette said with a little groan before eyeing the man's cap. "Could I borrow your cap? I wanna play a prank on Grandpa."

"Say hi to Rolland for me!" the man said as he puts the cap on the bluenette's head. "I'll grab my cap next time I come by!"

As the man gets into the van and drives off, Drake, who just watched all that, had a concern look.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? Who knows how your grandfather will react." He said in a unsure tone.

"Well, it's not exactly a lie. After all, I am actually-" Marinette said before losing her balance. "Delivering the! All the uh!" She regains her balance. "The flour! What really matters is that he comes to dad's birthday party, and that they both make up."

"Okay, first off, give me that!" Drake said, grabbing the flour sack out of Marinette's hands, managing to carry it with ease. "Don't want to risk hurting yourself. And second, it's not going to be that simple."

"Won't know until we try." Marinette said before opening the door.

Walking inside, they noticed all the old-fashioned technology and furnishings around the house. They then saw Marinette's grandfather, Rolland, was kneading some dough with his back facing them.

"Put the sack down in the usual place, Gilbert!" He said as a mouse ran past Marinette's feet.

"Oh! Uh, where's his usual place?" The bluenette asked.

Startled, Rolland turns around with a surprised look.

"You're not Gilbert!" He shouted.

"No... I'm, um, Germaine! His cousin!" Marinette said, getting a bewildered look from Drake.

"Hmm. Aren't you a little young to be delivering flour?" Rolland asked with slight suspicion.

"I'm... an intern!" Marinette said with a giggle. "I'm doing a flour delivery internship, because some day I wanna own my own flour shop!"

Rolland just frowned before turning to Drake.

"And you are?" He asked.

"I am Drake Firstbourne, and I'm helping my friend Germaine with her flour delivery today." Drake greeted, not bothering to come up with a fake name.

Rolland then turned back to his dough.

"It's good to be ambitious. You can put the sack down now. Have a nice day." He said before looking at a mouse. "Soot!" The mouse then brings him a bag of soot.

"So you're a baker then, huh?" Marinette asked.

"Are you a flour delivery girl or a nosy detective? Go on! Put the bag down and be on your way!" Rolland said in a frustrated tone.

Putting the bag down, Drake pointed to the front door.

"Hey, I've got things to do, so... I'll see myself out." He said before turning to Marinette. "Best of luck, Germaine."

And with that, Drake takes off.

Sometime later, Drake was walking down the streets of Paris.

"Man, I hope things are going well with Marinette and her grandfather..." He muttered to himself.

That when he heard the sound of screeching tires. Following it, he saw Bakerix in front of a bus.

"Huh? Why isn't this bus making any noise?" The villain asked as he looked the bus.

Hearing his voice, Drake recognized it.

"Rolland?" He muttered in shock.

"Well, because it's a modern bus, it runs on electricity." The bus driver said in absolute fear.

"An electric bus? That's not how it's done! Buses make noise! They run on gas and spew out stinky, black smoke!" Bakerix shouted, grabbing the bus before throwing it a distance. "Away with modern buses!" As the bus flies through the air, Ladybug shows up and uses her yo-yo to catch the bus, prevent it from crashing. "What's all this? There's a flying superman girl in Paris now?"

"Yup! Girl, and superhero. You gotta get with the times." Ladybug said.

"That's not how it's done! It's up to the police or the army to carry out law enforcement! Not you!" Bakerix shouted before leaping at Ladybug.

Seeing the villain, Drake ducks into a nearby alleyway.

"Looks like things didn't go well with Marinette and her grandfather." Spyro sad as he and Cynder fly out of Drake's fanny pack.

"It got the old man akumatized." Cynder added.

"Well, we need to stop him." Drake said before taking a stance. "Transform Me!" Once Spyro and Cynder were absorbed into his wristbands, Drake let's out a roar as he turns into Dragnarok. "Unleash the Dragon!"

Returning to the action, the draconic hero saw Bakerix lifting a car over his head.

"I'm going to rid Paris of all this modern nonsense, starting with you!" The villain shouted before throwing the car at Ladybug.

That's when a wall of Earth raises up from the ground, blocking the attack.

"You know, modern life is apart of us now." Dragnarok said as flies next to Ladybug. "That is no changing that."

"Oh yeah? Then watch me!" Bakerix shouted as he picks up another car and throws it at the two, only for Dragnarok to catch it with his Psychokinesis.

"And, technically, I'm not actually all that modern." Ladybug said as she starts spinning her yo-yo. "My Miraculous is from ancient times!"

"Well, we didn't have superheroes in my youth!" Bakerix shouted. Ladybug then launches her yo-yo, only for the villain to grab it and uses it to fling Ladybug away, having the spotted hero fly through the air screaming.

"Ah crap!" Dragnarok shouted as he flies after her.

Follow Ladybug, Dragnarok found the spotted hero, who landed in a tree. That's when Cat Noir and the rest of Team Draconic appeared.

"Don't worry, milady, I'm right here." Cat Noir said as he extend his staff for Ladybug.

Only for the spotted hero to jump out of the tree.

"Thanks Cat Noir, but girls don't always need to be saved by a boy." Ladybug said.

"You think I'm a tad old-fashioned, don't you?" Cat Noir asked in a cheeky tone.

"Oh, I've seen worse than you. Just wait 'til you meet Bakerix." Ladybug said.

"Anyway, how did you guys get here?" Dragnarok asked.

"We saw what happened on the news." Echidna said. "So we came here as fast as we could."

"Anyway, we've got a bread pile to stop." Swallow said.

And with that, the heroes took off.

Our heroes so found Bakerix at the Louvre Palace, looking at the glass pyramid in rage.

"Oh! Oh hoho! An Egyptian pyramid in the King's court! But that's not how it's done!" He shouted.

He then leaps to attack it, only for Cat Noir to knock him out of the air with his extend staff.

"A blending of ancient and modern. I personally like this glass pyramid a lot." The feline hero said.

"It's proof that you can be modern, and still respect the past." Ladybug added.

"Treachery! Treason!" Bakerix shouted as he gets back onto his feet, only to become hesitant at the number of opponents.

That's when a Odonata flies in and lands on the villain's yeast flask.

"Hello Bakerix, I am Damselfly. I bestow upon you a ally to help you on your crusade." Damselfly said.

"Thank you, Damselfly." Bakerix said.

In a green flash of light, a figure appeared next to Bakerix.

The figure was a male humanoid shaped wad of dough and was twice the size of Bakerix. He had a big nose, a small mustache, a pigtail coming from each side of his head, and helmet with two nubby horns.

"Doughbelix here, and ready to fight some heroes!" The giant dough wad said in a goofy tone.

Bakerix let out a laugh before drinking his yeast flask, causing his muscles to grow.

"I think we better destroy that flask of his." Cat Noir said in a slightly scared tone.

"You're right, it's probably where the Akuma is, too." Ladybug said before gasping, as she and the other heroes looked in horror as Bakerix lifted the glass pyramid above them.

"You're out of your league! You don't have enough experience!" The villain shouted as he throws the pyramid at the heroes, trapping them. "Come, Doughbelix!"

"Okay!" Doughbelix shouted as the two leave.

"Trapped! Cata- !" Cat Noir shouted, ready to use his power, only for Dragnarok to grab his wrist.

"Allow me." The draconic hero said before firing a Earth Shot, shattering the glass. "Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

"Let's go!" Ladybug shouted as she and the others took off.

Soon enough, our heroes arrived at the Gare du Nord.

"We've got a train to catch." Ladybug said as she heard screaming from the station.

"Boarding now!" Cat Noir shouted as the heroes run inside, where they found Bakerix and Doughbelix attempting to lift a train.

"Be reasonable now, Mister Bakerix. There are a lot of people on this train." Ladybug said as she jumps on top of the train.

"Well then they better get off, because it's on it's way to the wrecking yard!" Bakerix shouted as he lifts a couple of train cars.

As Ladybug fought Bakerix and Cat Noir escorting the citizens to safety, Team Draconic were dealing with Doughbelix.

"Okay dough wad, bring it on!" Swallow shouted.

"You think you can take me? You heroes are crazy." Doughbelix said before punching Swallow, sending the feathered hero flying across the room.

Grizzly then smashes his warhammer on Doughbelix, only for the dough wad's body to absorb the shock of the attack before retaliating with a uppercut, sending Grizzly through the roof.

"Man, for a wad of dough, he's tough!" Siorc shouted before being punch, sending her crashing through a wall.

"What do we do?" Echidna asked as she and Dragnarok keep their distance.

Pondering for a bit, a idea popped into the draconic hero's head.

"You might want to step back." Dragnarok said before unleashing a stream of fire, cooking Doughbelix until he was a immobile statue of bread.

"Looks good enough to eat." Echidna said as Grizzly came crashing down while Swallow and Siorc walk back to their teammates with pained looks.

"Bears weren't meant to fly..." Grizzly said as Dragnarok and Swallow helped him up.

"Doughbelix!" Bakerix shouted before drinking more yeast, making him strong enough to lift the train and throw it at Team Draconic, with Ladybug still on it.

"Not again!" Ladybug shouted as she jumps off as Dragnarok uses Dragon Time to pull his teammates to safety. "Lucky Charm!" Ladybug then throws her yo-yo into the air, summoning... A bottle of tomato sauce.

"Tomatoes in a bottle? Mmm, I doubt our friend will take too kindly to this." Cat Noir said as he rejoins the others.

"That's what I'm counting on." Ladybug said as she looks around. "In fact, I'm planning to give our baker friend the least traditional sandwich possible."

"Got it!" Cat Noir said as he and Team Draconic charge at Bakerix, who roars at them.

As they fight the villain, Ladybug, gathering some nearby ingredients, forms a sandwich.

"How about some super sour candy chews, plus some super chemical chewing gum, all packed between two slices of white industrial bread." She asked, holding up the sandwich.

"Oh, stop it, Ladybug, you're making us all drool! Isn't that right, Bakerix?" Grizzly asked.

"I'm not falling for your stupid little tricks." The villain said with a stammer.

"Okay, in that case I'll add... some tomatoes in a bottle." Ladybug said as she adds some tomato sauce on it. "Mmmm, now this sandwich is gonna taste like pizza! It's gonna be so good!"

"That's not how traditional sandwiches are done!" Bakerix stammered before charging that the heroes, who runs outside.

"Do your thing, Cat Noir!" Ladybug shouted as she points to grate that had a wind turbine in it.

"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir shouted as uses his power on the grate just as Bakerix steps on it, causing it to break and having him fall in.

"You're just blown away by this sandwich, aren't you?" Ladybug asked.

"That's not how it's done!" Bakerix shouted as he grabbed his flask, only for the wind turbine to blow it upwards.

"Well, that's how we do it, anyway." Cat Noir said before punting the flask to Ladybug.

"No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" She shouted as she opens her eyes before throwing her yo-yo at the akuma, catching it. "Gotcha!" She then releases the purified butterfly. "Bye, bye, little butterfly." Ladybug then throws the bottle of tomato sauce she had into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!"

As everything returns to normal, Bakerix turns back into Rolland.

"Pound it!" Ladybug and Cat Noir fist-bump as Team Draconic have a five-way high-five.

"My bread! I left some bread baking in the oven, and my granddaughter's there! It's dangerous! It could catch fire!" Rolland shouted in a panicked tone.

"I'm sure your granddaughter's got it under control." Ladybug said as she hands the yeast flask back.

"I must get home." Rolland said.

That's when Ladybug's earrings began to beep.

"I'll take him back, milady. I've got more time left than you." Cat Noir offered.

"Thank you, Cat Noir. Bug out!" Ladybug said before swinging away with her yo-yo.

"And it's time for us to hit the dusty trail." Dragnarok said as he and others take off.

"One day or another, things will change, Ladybug, and front row seats to your downfall will sell like hotcakes!" Hawk Moth shouted.

"It will be a delicious sight." Damselfly said.

The two laugh manically as the window closes.

Later that day, Drake was in his room, enjoying a mutton sandwich.

"Mmmm..." Drake moaned with a smile, savoring the taste.

"Enjoying your sandwich?" Spyro asked as he and Cynder sat on their pillow.

"Yep." Drake said after swallowing. "After all this baking stuff, I was seriously craving a sandwich." Finishing his sandwich off, Drake gain a thoughtful look. "I also heard Marinette managed to get her grandfather to come to her dad's birthday."

"Glad to hear that things worked out for them." Cynder said.

"Yep." Drake said with a smile.

And that's that.

In case you guys didn't know, Bakerix is based off the French comic character, Asterix. And I based Doughbelix off of Obelix, Asterix's best friend and partner in crime.

Anyway, I'll see you all next time!
