These nightmares... they just keep coming... I want to them to stop...
Season 3 Opening Intro(Halo by Starset)(I don't own the song)
It was night near Notre Dame, and Gigantitan was rampaging through the streets.
"Cake! Cake! Cake!" The villain shouted as people ran in fear.
In Gigantitan's left hand was Dragnarok, as the villain was flying him around like a airplane.
"This is humiliating..." The draconic hero muttered.
Gigantitan then arrives at the bakery.
"Cake! Cake!" He shouted.
"I'll protect my pastries if it's the last thing I do." Tom said as he and his wife stand at the entrance.
"Tom, you're going to get hurt!" Sabine shouted.
"Cake!" Gigantitan shouted once again.
That's when Ladybug and Cat Noir arrived.
"No, Da—Mr. Dupain! Move aside!" Ladybug ordered before wrapping her yo-yo around the villain's wrist.
"Wow, my heart is just like that yo-yo-wrapped baby's wrist. Taken prisoner by m'Lady forever." Cat Noir said before trying to kiss the spotted hero, only for Gigantitan to yank her away, causing her to crash into a Adrien billboard.
"Ah, Adrien's lips." She muttered as she slides off.
Luckily, Cat Noir catches her.
"Admit it, for a second there, you almost fell for my poetic verse." The feline hero said with a smirk.
"I never fall for your poetry, but I do find your foolishness incredibly powerful." Ladybug countered,
"QUIT FLIRTING AND FOCUS!" Dragnarok shouted as he tries to free himself from the villain's hand.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug shouted as she throws her yo-yo into the air, summoning... A giant plastic doughnut.
"Cake!" Gigantitan shouted as he grabs the doughnut and tries to eat it, only to soon realize it wasn't real, causing him to throw it through the wall of Marinette's room. "Not cake!"
"Your plastic doughnut doesn't stand a chance against the best macaroons in Paris. That baby has taste." Cat Noir said before they go after the villain.
Meanwhile, in the bakery, Tom realized the doughnut went into Marinette's room.
"That's Marinette's bedroom!" He shouted before running up the stairs. "Marinette! Marinette!"
"Dragnarok, grab this!" Ladybug shouted from outside.
"Marinette!" Tom shouted as Gigantitan's hand bursts trough the wall.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir shouted from outside.
The building begins to crumble.
"What did you do?!" Dragnarok shouted from outside.
"Marinette! Marinette!" Tom shouted as he reaches the door to Marinette's room, only to find it jammed.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug shouted from outside as the building was restored.
Marinette! Marinette!" Tom shouted as he runs into the room. He sees Marinette in her bed and pulls back the covers, only to see a pillow that looks like her head instead. "Ah!"
Back outside, the deakumatized August falls from midair only for Ladybug to catch him.
"So what was it this time?" Cat Noir asked.
"A late night craving, huh, baby August?" Ladybug asked before spinning August around. "You're so cute!" She then kisses the baby's head.
"You try finding him cute when he squeezes you like a stress ball..." Dragnarok muttered bitterly while crossing his arms.
"I'm a bit jealous." Cat Noir said as he watches the interaction.
"Don't be." Ladybug said as she hands August to the feline hero as her earring beeped. "Here, you can have him." She then waves to the baby. "Bye bye, little guy!" She then swings away.
"I meant jealous of him!" Cat Noir shouted.
"I best get going too." Dragnarok said before flying off.
Returning home, Dragnarok turned back into Drake and let out a huff.
"Of all the days my friends had to be out of town..." He grumbled.
Lately, Drake had been very irritable, thanks to his constant nightmares.
"At least Gigantitan is taken care of." Spyro said.
"Then why I don't feel any better..." Drake muttered.
"Get some rest, as tomorrow is a new day." Cynder said.
"Sure..." Drake said as he tucks himself in.
A while later, he falls asleep.
Opening his eyes, Drake found himself in a dark void.
"I was wondering when you would visit me." A familiar dark voice spoke up.
Following it, Drake saw Malefor, bound in chains.
"What do you want?" Drake asked in a annoyed tone. "You have been quiet lately."
"Just wanted to talk." Malefor said with a smirk. "I noticed you have been doing silly tasks for Ladybug and Cat Noir. Hardly fitting for the savior of three worlds."
"Well, they are the leaders. Well, Ladybug is." Drake said with a shrug.
"Them?! Leaders?! That's so funny I forgot to laugh!" Malefor shouted. "They are nothing compare to you. In fact, you don't need them, or that team of yours."
"Hey! Those guys are my friends!" Drake shouted.
"They're beneath you!" Malefor shouted. "You can easily crush Hawk Moth and his minions all by yourself! Plus, they cause some of the akumas! Does Copycat, Antibug, Queen Wasp, and Volpina ring any bells?"
"Okay, I am done talking to you." Drake said with anger before fading away
"Don't worry, you'll see things my way soon enough." Malefor said with a dark smirk.
The next day, in the afternoon, Drake was walking in the streets of Paris.
"Malefor..." Drake muttered in anger.
Suddenly, a giant, thorny, stalk-like stem sprouts in the distance.
"What the-?!" Drake shouted in shock before running into a nearby alleyway. "Where did that come from?!"
"Looks like another akuma is loose." Spyro said as he and Cynder flew out of the fanny pack.
"One that seems to have control over plants." Cynder noted.
"Transform Me!" Once Spyro and Cynder were absorbed into his wristbands, Drake let's out a roar as he turns into Dragnarok. "Unleash the Dragon!"
The draconic hero then flies to the stalk. Hover near it, Dragnarok creates a fireball, ready to burn the stalk to the ground.
But before he could throw it...
"Don't!" A voice shouted. Following it, Dragnarok saw it was Cat Noir. "Marinette is in there!"
"What?!" Dragnarok shouted.
But before the draconic hero could say anything else, Weredad appears.
"How dare you come back after what you've done?" The villain said before charging at Cat Noir, who rolled out of the way.
"I will always be here to save Marinette." Cat Noir said as he deflects a punch.
"She's safe from you and all the boys who want to break her heart." Weredad said before throwing a punch, which the feline hero dodged.
"I didn't mean to break her heart, sir, I swear." Cat Noir said.
"Then I swear that I'm about to crush your bones!" Weredad shouted before using the vine around his waist to whip Cat Noir, nearly throwing the feline hero off the stalk.
"Okay, time out. What happened?" Dragnarok asked, getting the two's attention.
"Ah, Dragnarok, I did not noticed you." Weredad said in a surprisingly polite tone. "You see, this dirty feline broke my daughter's heart!"
"First off, I'm not dirty. Second off, I didn't meant to!" Cat Noir shouted.
"...So let me get this straight." Dragnarok said in a annoyed tone. "You were the one who cased this akumatization?"
"...Kind of?" Cat Noir said in a nervous tone.
Dragnarok just let out a long annoyed sigh as he pinches the bridge of his nose.
"See? This only proves my point." Malefor said in the draconic hero's head. "Once again, you have to clean up one of their messes."
"So is there any way I could get you to surrender?" Dragnarok asked in a half serious, half sarcastic kind of tone.
"I'm sorry, but it's my duty as a father to protect my daughter." Weredad declared.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you do this." Cat Noir said, getting the villain's attention.
"Why not?" Weredad asked.
"Because I have a damsel in distress to rescue!" Cat Noir declared before trying to climb the talk, only for Weredad to grab the feline hero by the belt and toss him around.
"I forbid you to rescue her! You don't deserve to save her." The villain said before slamming Cat Noir into the ground. "From now on, no one else but I will protect her!"
"And are you planning to protect her all her life?" Cat Noir asked as he gets back onto his feet while holding his arm in pain.
"Exactly! I'll keep her safe from sadness, hardship, and anything else that could hurt her!" Weredad stated.
"You can't protect her from what hurts the most. Do you know what hurts the most?" Cat Noir asked.
"My great big punches?" Weredad said before lunging at Cat Noir, only for Dragnarok to pull the feline hero out of the way.
"No! What hurts the most is solitude." Cat Noir said. "Believe me, I know all about it. Nothing hurts more than isolation. Having to sit alone in front of a cold meal. Is that what you want for your daughter? A lifetime of cold meals in her prison of roses?"
Weredad gains a remorseful look while Dragnarok gives Cat Noir a surprised.
However, the villain loses the remorseful look.
"She will never be alone!" Weredad shouted. "Someday, a prince will come. A prince worthy of her, daring enough to face me! Who will brave the many dangers and pick the magic rose for her! He will be worthy of taking her from my guard!" Weredad then turns to Dragnarok. "In fact, I think I might've alright found that prince."
"Wait, me?!" Dragnarok shouted as he pointed to himself.
"Of course! You've save the entire world!" Weredad said. "Not only that, you're strong, brave, and a capable leader!"
"Look, I'm flattered, but I already have a girlfriend, so I'll have to politely decline." Dragnarok said, trying to sound as polite as possible.
"Polite and faithful too." Weredad said with a chuckle. "Your girlfriend is lucky to have you."
"I'm lucky to have her." Dragnarok said as Kagami started to flood his mind.
"I may not be her prince, but I'm charming enough to free her." Cat Noir said, getting the villain and draconic hero's attention.
"I forbid you to do so!" Weredad shouted as he grabs Cat Noir's staff and throws it into the distance.
"Not being in love with her, losing my stick, won't keep me from saving her." Cat Noir said as Weredad picks him up. "I'll never give up. Never!"
Weredad then hangs the feline hero over the edge.
"You're not worthy of my daughter." The villain said.
But before he could drop the feline hero, a light mask appeared on face. Once it dispel, Weredad reaches for Cat Noir's ring.
That's when Dragnarok flies in and snatches Cat Noir out of the villain's grip.
"Sorry, but if Hawk Moth gets the Miraculous, your daughter certainly won't be safe." Dragnarok said.
Suddenly, the stalk starts to break apart and Weredad turns back into Tom.
"What? What's going o— Ah!" Tom shouted as he falls.
Luckily, Dragnarok grabs him.
"I got ya!" He said.
That's when Ladybug and the akuma appeared, with the former using her yo-yo to catch the latter.
"Gotcha! Bye bye, little butterfly." Ladybug said as she releases the purified butterfly.
"M'Lady! Whoa!" Cat Noir shouted as he nearly slips out of Dragnarok grip.
"I'm coming!" The spotted hero shouted.
"No, take care of Marinette! She's somewhere around here!" Cat Noir shouted.
"Don't worry, I've already taken her to safety!" Ladybug stated.
"With that out of the way, where the hell have you been?!" Dragnarok shouted as he places Cat Noir and Tom near the bakery entrance.
"I was helping Marinette and finding the akuma." Ladybug said. "Anyway, thanks for keeping Weredad distracted guys."
"You could've explained your plan to us..." Dragnarok muttered angrily. "Any, seeing my work here is done, I best get going."
And with that, Dragnarok took off.
Later that day, when it became dark out, Drake was in bed, tried after a long day.
However, Drake opened his eyes, finding himself in the dark void once again.
"Oh great..." He muttered before facing Malefor, who had a amused look. "What do you want this time?"
"Just wanted to ask if you finally see my point about Ladybug and Cat Noir." The Dark Master said.
"Okay, Cat Noir may be responsible for this akuma, and you may be right about Copycat, Antibug, Queen Wasp, and Volpina, but they're at least willing to fix their mistakes." Drake said, trying to defend his comrades.
"Maybe, but heroes shouldn't cause the problems they fight." Malefor said, causing Drake to look away. The Dark Master smirk, seeing Drake's faith in the duo was shaken. "I like said, you don't need them, nor do you need that team of yours'."
"Shut up, just shut up!" Drake shouted as he holds his head.
"The truth hurts, doesn't it?" Malefor asked in a mocking tone
"SHUT UP!" Drake shouted as he releases a burst of power before fading away.
"Bit by bit, I'll break you apart then rebuild and reshape you into a worthy successor..." Malefor muttered with a dark smirk.
And that's that!
Sorry for the chapter being short, and there wasn't that much action. In fact, in the actual episode, there wasn't that much action either, in my opinion at least. The episode seems to focus on the relationship between Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Cat Noir, most notably Marinette and Cat Noir.
So for the main focus for this chapter, I had Malefor make a return and is manipulating Drake, already managing to shaken thee draconic hero's faith in Ladybug and Cat Noir.
