Malefor... He said that Ladybug and Cat Noir cause most of the problems they fix, and that I don't need them or my team. While I disagree with him about my team, I can't help but feel like he's right about Ladybug and Cat Noir...
Season 3 Opening Intro(Halo by Starset)(I don't own the song)
Flying over the city of Paris, Dragnarok was in deep thought. Malefor's words buzzed through his mind, so he decided to take a small fly to get his head straight.
"While Malefor does have a point about Ladybug and Cat Noir causing some of the akumas, they are at least willing to fix them." Dragnarok muttered to himself. "We all make mistakes, and some of the akumas they caused weren't intentional."
"Not intentional, huh?" Malefor asked with a scoff, spooking Dragnarok. "Cat Noir was pretty smug when he lied about his relationship with Ladybug, causing Copycat. Ladybug, meanwhile, wasted no time yelling at Chloe when she tried to help, leading to Antibug and Queen Wasp. Plus, from what I heard, she really ripped into Lila for lying about her and the bug being friends, which made Volpina."
"While I can agree with you about Copycat and Antibug, Ladybug did have the right to be mad at Chloe when she took the Bee Miraculous and used it to become famous, nearly getting people hurt. Plus, I wasn't there when Ladybug yelled at Lila, so I don't have the full story." Dragnarok said, trying to defend his comrades.
"That reminds me, the reason Chloe gotten her hands on the Bee Miraculous was because Ladybug lost the damn thing in the first place!" Malefor stated, making another good point.
"Well... Okay, I have to give you that one." Dragnarok said with a sigh.
-Drake! Drake!- Spyro suddenly shouted. -Can you hear us?-
"Yeah, why you ask?" The draconic hero asked.
~We've been trying to contact you for the pass five minutes.~ Cynder said.
Dragnarok was surprised by that, until he realized Malefor must've found a way to block Spyro and Cynder off.
But the draconic hero didn't ponder on this long, as he noticed the TVi Studio building.
"Oh yeah, Kitty Section is performing here. Perhaps I should give my support." He said to himself before flying into the building.
Sneaking into the building, Dragnarok crawled through the vents to avoid being seen. Stopping at a vent grate, the draconic saw Silencer, Marinette, XY, and Bob Roth.
"Shh." Silencer said as he grabs XY's face and puts his finger on the singer's lips, causing a floating blob to come out of XY's mouth.
"What's that?" Bob asked as he cowardly hides behind Marinette.
XY tries to talk, but not a single sound came out of his mouth. Silencer then absorbs the floating blob into his helmet before approaching Marinette.
"Don't worry, Marinette. I would never hurt you." The villain said in XY's voice while making the talking hand gesture. "I will use the power Hawk Moth has given me to restore justice. I will force Bob Roth to admit what he has done to you and Kitty Section."
"Wait, what he do?" Dragnarok asked, jumping out of the vent, getting everyone's attention.
"Dragnarok! Thank goodness!" Bob shouted before pointing at Silencer. "Teach this hoodlum a lesson!"
"Shush!" Dragnarok snapped, causing Bob to flinch before facing the villain. "I'll ask again, what did Bob do?"
"He and XY stole Kitty Section's music and claim it was their own. Bob then threatened Marinette." Silencer said in XY's voice.
"He did WHAT?!" Dragnarok shouted in absolute fury as darkness begins to form around his body.
-Drake! You need to ca-!- Spyro said before being cut off.
"Well, well, well. Looks like we have a interesting situation." Malefor said as a hologram of him forms beside Dragnarok, spooking Marinette, Silencer, Bob, and the silenced XY. "Here is a akuma who is completely in the right. You don't want to deny him of his justice, do you?"
Dragnarok just growl as he sent Bob a hateful glare, his eyes starting to glow white.
"In fact, you should help this akuma, as taking voices isn't all that serious." Malefor said with a dark smirk. "Plus, Bob, or whoever this human is, could threaten your friends, family, or your potential mate. So go on... Teach this thief a lesson!"
Dragnarok let's out a loud roar as he turns into Dark Dragnarok. The darkness covered draconic hero then turns to Silencer.
"Listen, I'll help you deal with Bob, but I'll not help you get Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous, got it?" Dark Dragnarok offered.
"Thank you, Dragnarok." Silencer said.
"Wait a minute! You're suppose to be a hero!" Bob shouted, only to let out a girlish shriek as a fireball barely misses his head.
"I am being a hero, by helping the world get rid of a thieving slimeball!" Dark Dragnarok said with a snarl, causing Bob to run off.
"Don't do this, Luka, Dragnarok. That's revenge, not justice. And if you team up with Hawk Moth, you'll have to face Cat Noir and Ladybug." Marinette pleaded, trying to reason with the two.
"Cat Noir and Ladybug? Where were they when we needed them? Only Dragnarok here is the only one who understands. As now, Silencer and Dragnarok is laying down the law of silence." Silencer said in XY's voice, causing the bluenette to gasp. "You're the most extraordinary girl, Marinette. Clear as a musical note and as sincere as a melody. You're the music that's been playing inside my head since the day we first met. I won't let anything happen to you."
"Enough! The thief is getting away." Malefor said before dispelling the hologram.
"You heard him, let's go!" Dark Dragnarok said before he and Silencer chase after Bob.
In his lair, Hawk Moth was thinking about what just happened.
"So Dragnarok is helping Silencer... Perfect! With him on my side, those Miraculous are mine!" Hawk Moth shouted with glee.
"Need I remind you that he's helping Silencer with his personal goal, not getting us Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous?" Damselfly asked.
"Even so, he'll at least tire them, making them easy pickings for Silencer." Hawk Moth said.
Back at the Studio, Dark Dragnarok and Silencer chased Bob to the studio's roof.
"You can't get away from me, Bob Roth. I will make you tell the truth, live on TV." Silencer said in XY's voice.
"Just admit you stole Kitty Section's music, and this will be all over." Dark Dragnarok said.
"Don't touch me! I'm warning you! I'm well-connected. One call to Mr. Bourgeois..." Bob threaten as he fell on his rear. "...and he'll bring the police for me. The whole army if he has to!"
"Been a while since I crushed an army..." Dark Dragnarok said with a dark cackle, Malefor's magic already beginning to warp his mind.
Just as Silencer was about to take Bob's voice, Ladybug stops him with her yo-yo.
"I can't let you do this, Silencer and Dragnarok." The spotted hero said as she lands in front of Bob.
"And about time, too!" Bob said as he gets back up. "What are you waiting for?" He then pushes Ladybug toward to two. "Get to work!"
"Listen, Luka - er, Silencer. You don't know what you're doing. Hawk Moth is evil. You think you're using your power for good but you're wrong." Ladybug said as she avoids Dark Dragnarok and Silencer's attacks. "And Dragnarok, you shouldn't listen to Malefor. He's trying to make you like him!"
Dark Dragnarok merely kicks her in front of Bob.
"Oh, come on! Stop mincing around and protect me!" Bob shouted before noticing Silencer coming at him, causing him to use Ladybug as a shield, which had the spotted hero's voice stolen and absorbed. "Sorry, Ladybug. Occupational hazard, I guess. No hard feelings? Bye!" Bob then escapes into the elevator.
"You shouldn't have stood in my way, Ladybug." Silencer said in Ladybug's voice.
"We had that thieving coward right were we wanted him, but you ruined it!" Dark Dragnarok shouted. "Your voice being taken is on you!"
Ladybug tries to use her Lucky Charm, only for nothing to happen.
"No Lucky Charm this time, Ladybug." Silencer said XY's voice before switching to Ladybug's voice. "You'd need your voice for that, and I'm the one who's got it." Seeing herself at a disadvantage, Ladybug retreats. "You can run, Ladybug, but you can't get away from me for long." That's when a light mask appeared on the villain's face, causing him to switch to XY's voice. "Don't worry, Hawk Moth. Now that I've got Ladybug's voice, I have a plan to get ahold of her and Cat Noir's Miraculous."
"I'm not helping you with that." Dark Dragnarok said, showing that a piece of his uncorrupted mind was still there.
"Understood. But first: revenge!" Silencer said with both Ladybug and XY's voices.
And with that, they continue the chase.
The two not knowing that Ladybug sent a message to Cat Noir, Echidna, Swallow, Grizzly, and Siorc.
A while later, on the top of a building rooftop, Ladybug was waiting for the other.
"I'm right here, M'lady. Uh, I'm here now, so go ahead and fill me in." Cat Noir said as he and the rest of Team Draconic arrived. Ladybug sends them a message. "Of course, I should've thought of that." Ladybug then sends Cat Noir a message. "Hey, that's not very nice!"
The muted spotted hero points to Silencer and Dark Dragnarok, who went into City Hall.
"You're right! Let's go! We'll get your voice back and talk ourselves out of this mess!" Cat Noir exclaimed.
"I can't believe Malefor managed to convince Dragnarok into helping..." Echidna said in a sad tone.
As Cat Noir was about to take off, Ladybug pulls him back.
"I don't want to be catty but I really don't know what you mean." The feline hero said in a confused tone. Ladybug sends him a message, which he reads out loud. "'We've got a major problem. I can't call out my Lucky Charm or say Miraculous Ladybug.' Ah, you've definitely got a point there. The magic ladybugs won't be able to fix up all the damage caused by Silencer." Ladybug sends him another message. "And you can't say the detransformation words? Which means you'll be a mute Ladybug for the rest of your life?" The spotted hero nods. "But it has its advantages in a way. Now you'll never be able to pick on my jokes."
Swallow hits him on the head.
"Now is not the time for jokes!" The feathered hero shouted. "Not only that Ladybug can't use her powers, but think of the damage Dragnarok accidentally might cause, damage she can't fix, voice or no voice!"
"I was kidding." Cat Noir said before facing Ladybug. "Don't worry, you always get us out of the worst fixes." The heroes take off, with the feline hero muttering to himself. "Meanwhile, I'll be able to babble to my heart's content."
Meanwhile, in City Hall, Silencer had just taken Andre's voice.
"Sorry Mr. Mayor, but this is for a noble cause." Dark Dragnarok apologized as he ties the voiceless mayor up. "Don't worry, you have your voice back when this is all over."
That's when Andre's phone rangs, having Silencer pick it up.
"Andre? Andre, it's me! I need you to send in the troops." Bob said on the other end.
"No problem, Bob. I'll take care of it. Where are you?" Silncer asked in Andre's voice.
"The one place in Paris you've probably never step foot in. The sewers!" Bob shouted.
"Crawling in the sewers like the cowardly rat he is..." Dark Dragnarok muttered.
"Don't worry, I'll send the police in right away!" Silencer said in Andre's voice before hanging up. He then calls the police station. "Mayor Bourgeois here. Get me Officer Roger."
Outside, our heroes were trying to figure out their next move.
"Maybe I could imitate your voice? Lucky Charm, Lucky Charm, Lucky Charm, Lucky Charm!" Cat Noir said, trying to imitate ladybug, only to noticed the irritated looks from the others. "Uh... yeah, okay, I'll shut up now." Ladybug then gets a idea and signals to the others. "Uh... cat got your tongue?"
"A night at the opera?" Grizzly guessed.
Ladybug facepalms before messaging them her idea.
"You want to make Silencer say the words Lucky Charm with the voice he stole from you? Very smart! Now let's hear how you're gonna do that." Cat Noir said. Ladybug messages them the plan. "Don't even think about it, M'lady. It'll never work."
"Got any other ideas, professor?" Siorc asked in a sarcastic tone.
"You're right, though, we don't have much of a choice." Cat Noir said.
That's when the heroes noticed Silencer and Dark Dragnarok leaving City Hall, so they secretly tailed the two.
Later, Silencer and Dark Dragnarok were in the TVi Studio, waiting.
That's when Roger and Bob, the latter in handcuffs, step out of the elevator.
"Thank you, officer." Silencer said in the mayor's voices.
"Uh, and who are you?" Roger asked in a confused tone.
"Sh!" Silencer said as he takes and absorbs Roger's voice.
Meanwhile, Dark Dragnarok drags Bob out of the elevator.
"Uh, no! Let me go!" Bob pleaded.
"I can take your voice, Bob Roth, and make you say whatever I please. But that's not what I want. I want you to admit what you did to Marinette and her friends with your own voice." Silncer said in Roger's voice.
"Never! I'd rather be silent!" Roger said stubbornly.
"I was hoping you say that." Dark Dragnarok said, cracking his knuckles.
"You really think I can't make you? Listen, I can ruin your reputation just like you threatened to do with Marinette." Silencer said in Ladybug's voice. He then switchs to Andre's voice. "Everyone in showbiz knows me. I'll make sure you lose every single one of your friends." Switches to Roger's voice. "I'll put you in prison." Switches to XY's voice. "I'll never sing for you, Dad. You'll never make another dime from my music." The villain then uses all the voices he stolen. "We'll make your life a nightmare, Bob Roth."
"Wait, stop! Okay, I'll do it! I'll tell the truth!" Bob Roth shouted.
Silencer and Dark Dragnarok then took their captive to a film set.
"Dear viewers, we're back on the air for a exclusive interview with Bob Roth. He has something very important..." Silencer said in Alec's voice.
Outside the film set, our heroes were about to burst in, but Cat Noir stops them.
"Wait guys! It might be too early to pull off your crazy plan. We could wait for Bob Roth to actually tell the truth. Then justice would be served for Kitty Section, wouldn't it?" The feline hero asked.
"You make a good point." Swallow said.
Ladybug then sends them a message.
"It would be revenge, not justice. And being coerced into telling the truth is meaningless." Echidna read before signing. "She's right."
"You're right, M'lady. You're not much fun but you do have a point. We have to save him." Cat Noir said before the heroes burst through the door, getting Dark Dragnarok, Silencer, and Bob's attention. "C'mon! We got all the time in the world! We might as well have a bit of fun!"
Cat Noir then starts to fight Silencer while Ladybug drags Bob off.
Meanwhile, Dark Drangarok faced off against his teammates.
"What are you guys doing here?" The draconic hero asked.
"We're here to stop you." Echidna said. "Dragnarok... This isn't you!"
"Listen, this is a one time deal." Dark Dragnarok said. "Once Bob tells the truth, this will be all over."
"So you're taking Malefor's word as gospel now?" Siorc asked.
"If you continue this, you'll soon be like Malefor!" Swallow stated.
However, the last one just made Dark Dragnarok mad.
"SHUT UP!" He shouted, sending out a Siren Scream, which stuns his teammates in place. "I don't want to hurt you guys, but Bob Roth must pay for his sins!" Dark Dragnarok then starts to leave, but Grizzly manages to get ahold of himself and pounce at the draconic hero, wrapping his arms around him. "Hey! Let go!"
"Sorry buddy, but not until you are in a right state of mind." Grizzly said as he continued to hold a struggling Dark Dragnarok.
Soon, Echidna, Swallow, and Siorc got through the effects and dogpiled Dark Dragnarok, pinning him down.
"Get off of me!" Dark Dragnarok demanded.
Echidna then whispers into his ear.
"What would Kagami think if she saw you like this?"
Dark Dragnarok froze.
Seeing the draconic hero go still, the others got off of him.
"What have I been doing?" Dark Dragnarok asked as the darkness lifts, returning the draconic hero to his normal self.
"Dragnarok, don't feel bad about yourself." Echidna said. "It's not wrong to feel emotions like anger and hatred, it's wrong to act upon them, which is never easy."
As Dragnarok mulled over this, Swallow noticed something.
"Maybe this will cheer you up." He said, pointing to a nearby TV screen. On it was Ladybug, a tied-up Bob, and Luka, who was deakumatized.
"The ladybug and cat got you. Serves you right! What did you think, kid? That I was going to tell everybody the truth? That I stole Kitty Section's song and your girlfriend's costumes, so I could give them to my talentless son? You didn't think that superheroes would come to save me, huh? That's right! They work for me now!" Bob shouted, before noticing Ladybug and Luka smiling. "...What's up with you guys? Why are you all smiling like that?!"
"We're smiling because you're on the air, Mr. Roth." Ladybug said before pointing to the camera, which was being held by Cat Noir. "Everything you just said was broadcast live."
All across Paris, people were booing at Bob.
"Eh heh heh heh heh. Precisely! It was all just a big joke! I actually happen to love the band Kitten Division!" Bob said nervously, trying to save some face. "In fact, I love them so much that I was about to sign them to their first record deal! And now, they're going to finish off this show with their very own song! I didn't mention it earlier, to keep it a surprise! But it was my idea from the start!"
"We usually save the good guys from the baddies, but I've got my doubts about this one. You sure he hasn't been akumatized?" Cat Noir asked as he unties Bob.
"Nope. He's like that all the time." Ladybug said before noticing her yo-yo beeping. "Gotta go! I'm about to transform back. See you soon, my kitty."
"I love when she calls me that." Cat Noir said in a enamored tone.
As the Parisians continued to boo Bob, we go back to Team Draconic.
"You're right, this did cheer me up." Dragnarok said with a smile.
"See? Justice will come eventually." Echidna said.
"That's called karma." Siorc added. "Now then, let's go home."
And with that, they take off.
"You broke the laws of silence, Ladybug. But I'm preparing an act of vengeance for you that will leave you speechless." Hawk Moth stated before facing Damselfly. "And why didn't you send out a Odonata?"
"Couldn't find an opening." Damselfly said before placing a hand on her hip. "Besides, Silencer had Dragnarok helping him, didn't he?"
"Don't get sassy with me." Hawk Moth said. "While Dragnarok didn't help in getting the Miraculous, we now have an idea on how to persuade him onto our side."
And with that, the window closes.
In his room, Drake was with Spyro, Cynder, and Ignitus.
"I can't believe Malefor managed to convinced me to help Silencer..." Drake said ashamed at himself. "He told me I was serving justice."
"That was revenge, not justice." Ignitus said. "Listen, what your friend said was right, it's not wrong to feel anger or want revenge, but it's wrong to act upon them." The Chronicler then noticed Drake's down look. "There is no need to be ashamed of. In one point in our lives, we all enacted on our negative emotions."
"Like when Ignitus sacrificed himself in the Belt of Fire, or when Malefor corrupted Cynder before our battle with him, I felt alone, that I lost everything and should give up. But I soon get reminded, I'm not alone and have something to fight for." Spyro said.
"Malefor may have a way to stop us for communicating, but we're still with you." Cynder said.
Drake smiled before hugging the two dragons.
"Thank you."
Deep within Drake's soul, Malefor watch this with disgust.
"How sickening..." He growled. "Justice... Justice is such a bendable concept. One's justice is another's excuse to kill, steal, and defile as they please." The Dark Master then gained a evil smirk. "Drake will learn that soon enough."
With that, Malefor let's out a evil laugh.
And that's that!
That's right, in this chapter, Dragnarok actually helps the akuma! Although, it's easy to understand why.
So yeah, Malefor preyed on Dragnarok's anger and convince him to help Silencer.
Out of all the Seven Deadly Sins, the one Drake/Dragnarok suffers from is Wrath, and this problem has grown when dark magic began to flow through our hero's vein.
