Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! Today, I'm doing something interesting. This chapter will be a taste of what's to come in Season 4.
Today, Dragnarok will be facing off against Dreadrock, a villain who isn't akumatized!
Before we start, I want to address something.
Daemon of Wrath: You see, the original ending conflicts with what I have planned in the future. Don't worry, something special will happen.
Anyway, let's begin!
Entry# 103
Just recently met Adrien's cousin, Felix. For some strange reason, I feel the need to keep an eye out for him...
Season 3 Opening Intro(Halo by Starset)(I don't own the song)
As the sun sets over the city of Paris, a stranger in a trench coat walks out of the train station, with his face covered by the shadow of his hat.
"So... This is his home..." The stranger muttered in a gravelly and masculine voice. "Let's see what you got."
Meanwhile, in his room, Drake was working on an essay when he felt a chill go down his spine.
"Weird..." He muttered to himself as he looks out the window.
Next the day...
"Go my friends! Let's reclaim Paris!" Mr. Pigeon shouted as he rides on the back of a giant pigeon.
The city is being attacked by Mr. Pigeon... for the 42nd time.
This time, however, Mr. Pigeon can now make his pigeons the size of ostriches, which, fun fact, is the biggest bird known to man.
On a nearby rooftop, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Echidna, Swallow, Siorc, and Grizzly just stared with disinterest.
"The giant pigeons are new." Swallow said in a bored tone.
"Let's get this over with." Echidna said in a equally bored tone.
As the heroes spring into action, the stranger from earlier watches from a nearby alleyway.
"So, these are the so called heroes of Paris?" The Stranger asked himself. "Pathetic. The villain equally so."
Walking out of the alleyway, the Stranger effortlessly rips a street sign out of the ground before jumping straight into the air.
Back to the fight, Echidna, Swallow, Siorc, and Grizzly kept the giant pigeons at bay while Ladybug and Cat Noir dealt with Mr. Pigeon on his steed.
"Alright Mr. Pigeon, enough is enough!" Ladybug stated. "Lucky-!"
She stopped when she heard something land behind her.
Turning around, Ladybug and Cat Noir saw that it was the Stranger.
"Who the heck are you?" Cat Noir asked.
The Stranger ignored the feline hero as he throws the street sign he was carrying at Mr. Pigeon, causing him to fall off his steed and land on top of Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Picking the sign back up, the Stranger then wraps it around the three, trapping them.
"Hey!" Swallow shouted as he and the others land behind the Stranger. "Who are you, and why are you doing this?!"
"Who am I? I'm so glad you asked." The Stranger said before throwing off his trench coat.
What the four heroes saw was a adult man who was 7'5". He had grey, rocky looking skin with various cracks running over it in various places. He has a buzzcut hair style and acid-green eyes. He was wearing an orange prison jumpsuit and steel toe boots. Finally, wrapped around his wrists and neck were cuffs that had broken chains hanging off them.
"I am Dreadrock." The Stranger greeted with a twisted grin.
Echidna, Swallow, Siorc, and Grizzly gained fearful looks upon hearing that name.
"W-what are you doing here?" Echidna asked in a scared tone.
"Someone has taken a deep interest in your boss, and is paying me a king's ransom to bring him to them." Dreadrock said. "Now, if you be so kind to tell me where he is?"
"Like we'll ever tell you!" Swallow shouted with the other three nodding in agreement, as the mere thought of their friend being threaten lit a fire in their bellies.
"You'd be smart to reconsider." Dreadrock said in a dark tone. "Cause' I'll tear this city apart piece by piece until I find him."
"We won't let you!" Grizzly shouted before throwing a punch to Dreadrock's chest, only to instantly pull it back with a pain-filled look.
"You call that a punch?" Dreadrock asked in a amused tone. "This is a punch!"
Dreadrock then punches Grizzly in the face, sending him flying through several buildings. He then faces the other three and claps his hands so hard, that he creates a shockwave that was powerful enough to send Echidna, Swallow, and Siorc flying.
"That's it?" Dreadrock asked in a disappointed tone. "What a joke... Hope Dragnarok puts up a better challenge."
With a powerful leap, Dreadlock jumps down onto the streets, landing on top of a car, completely destroying it.
In his lair, Hawk Moth had a surprised look.
"Who was that? He took down Ladybug and her friends with little effort..." He muttered.
"Hawk Moth..." He heard Damselfly said. Turning around, he saw his partner sporting a scared look. "We have a HUGE problem!"
"What do you mean?" Hawk Moth asked.
"Dreadrock is an actual super villain. One who is not afraid to cause collateral damage." Damselfly said in a worried tone. "When he has a target he's after, he will not stop until he gets what he's after, even if he has to tear apart anything that gets in his way."
"And he's after Dragnarok..." Hawk Moth muttered as he was starting to get the picture.
"This may sound crazy... But we might need to form a temporary truce with Ladybug." Damselfly suggested.
"A truce?!" Hawk Moth shouted.
"Look, I don't like the idea as well, but if Dreadrock isn't stopped, our families will be caught in his warpath!" Damselfly stated.
"...Fine!" Hawk Mot shouted with a sour look.
Back with Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Mr. Pigeon, the three were struggling to get out of the sign that was wrapped around them.
"Well, at least I'm stuck with you, M'lady." Cat Noir flirted, only to get an annoyed look from Ladybug.
"Ladybug." Hawk Moth's voice ringed out. Looking over to Mr. Pigeon, the duo saw a light mask on the villain's face. Opening his mouth, Hawk Moth's voice came out of Mr. Pigeon. "It seems we have a situation. That was Dreadrock, a supervillain who appears to be after Dragnarok. We need to work together to take him down."
"What?!" Ladybug and Cat Noir shouted.
"Look, I hate the idea as much as you two, but if we don't stop Dreadrock, he'll tear Paris apart!" Hawk Moth stated. "Truce?"
"Truce. But don't get any funny ideas." Ladybug warned.
"You tell him, M'lady." Cat Noir said before managing to wiggle an arm free. "Cataclysm!"
Activating his power, the feline hero break the street sign, freeing the three.
"Nice one!" Ladybug said before noticing smoke rising up in the distance. "We better hurry!"
"You go on ahead." Cat Noir said as his ring starts beeping. "I'll meet up with you after a quick recharge."
With a nod, Lady, along with Mr. Pigeon, take off.
Near the Le Grand Paris, Dreadrock was tossing cars around, tearing down buildings, and reducing the street to rumble.
"Come out Dragnarok!" The villain shouted as he tosses a car aside. "Come out and play!"
That's when Ladybug and Mr. Pigeon land behind him.
"Will we do?" The spotted hero asked, getting Dreadrock's attention.
"So you got out, huh?" Dreadrock said in a unimpressed tone. "Too bad your boyfriend ditch ya."
"Cat Noir is not-!" Ladybug shouted, only to be interrupted.
"Don't care." Dreadrock said before cracking his knuckles. "So, are you going to tell me where Dragnarok is, or am I gonna have to beat it out of ya?"
"The only beating will be the wings of my feathered friends!" Mr. Pigeon shouted before blowing his bird whistle, causing the ostrich sized pigeon to start swarming Dreadlock, pecking at him.
"Stupid winged rats." Dreadrock said, not all that bothered by the pigeons. He then claps, releasing a shockwave that blows the pigeons away.
While he was distracted, Ladybug slings her yo-yo and wraps it around Dreadrock. The villain just gives the spotted hero a amused look before shedding some of his rocky skin, allowing him to wiggle his way out of his bindings.
"Is this the best you can do?" Dreadrock taunted as his he regrows his rocky skin.
"Alone maybe." A voice said. Following, everyone saw that it was Cat Noir with Echidna, Swallow, Siorc, and Grizzly. "But with us? She is unstoppable!"
"Unstoppable, huh? Prove it!" Dreadrock shouted.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug shouted as she throws her yo-yo into the air, summoning... A container of Liquid Nitrogen. "Liquid Nitrogen?" Looking around, Ladybug sees some fire hydrants before looking at Siorc. "That's it!"
"Got a plan?" Grizzly asked.
"Cat Noir! Swallow! Grizzly! Keep Dreadrock distracted!" Ladybug ordered the boys before facing the other girl heroes. "Echidna! Siorc! Follow my lead!"
"Got it!" The others shouted.
"Tremor Stomp!" Grizzly shouted, using his power to shake the ground.
This causes Dreadrock to stumble a bit, but manages to stay on his feet. However...
"Sky Descent!" Swallow shouted, firing a horizonal tornado at the villain, causing him to fall onto his rear.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir shouted, using his power on the ground, causing it to collapse and causing Dreadrock to fall into the sewer.
"Now girls!" Ladybug shouted.
"Evolving Touch!" Echidna shouted, activating her power before grabbing Siorc's shoulder, powering her up.
"Rogue Wave!" Siorc shouted, summoning a huge pillar of water from the sewer, which engulfs Dreadrock and lifts him into the air.
Opening the container, Ladybug chucks the liquid nitrogen at the water pillar, freezing it completely solid and trapping Dreadrock inside.
"What do you think? Pretty "cool" right?" Cat Noir asked the frozen Dreadrock, ignoring the annoyed groans his teammates made because of the pun. He then notices something. "Hey, where's Mr. Pigeon?"
"Um... A little help?" A voice ringed out. Following it, the heroes saw that Mr. Pigeon was also frozen, with his head exposed.
"Wow. Two birds and one ice chunk." Cat Noir joked, getting more groans.
That's when that sound of clapping rang through the air. Following it, the heroes saw that it was Dragnarok, who looked impressed.
"That was incredible guys!" He complimented.
"Where have you been?" Swallow asked.
"Well, I was practicing my astral projection when Dreadrock showed up." Dragnarok said with a sheepish look. "By then time I returned to my body and headed on my way, you guys had already wrapped things up." The draconic hero then walks to the frozen pillar and melts some of it, releasing Dreadrock's head. "So... You were hired to capture me... Who is your employer?"
"Sorry, but that's a breach in contract." Dreadrock taunted. "Beside, where's the fun in just telling you?"
Dragnarok just growled as several helicopters fly in. Coming down from them on ropes were several government-looking agents.
"Thank you for capturing Dreadrock, Dragnarok." One of the agents said as the others break the piece of the frozen pillar holding Dreadrock off and hoist it into a helicopter. "We've been tracking him for a while now when he somehow managed to escape his cell. Thanks for saving us the trouble of capturing him."
"Actually, my friends here were the ones who captured him." Dragnarok said as he gestures to his teammates.
"Really? Well, on behalf of the US Government, thank you." The agent said before he and the others take off.
Once they were gone, Dragnarok grabs Mr. Pigeon's bird whistle and crushes it, releasing the Akuma.
"Do your thing, Bug!" He shouted to the spotted hero.
"No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug shouted as she opens her eyes before throwing her yo-yo at the akuma, catching it. "Gotcha!" She then releases the purified butterfly. "Bye, bye, little butterfly." Ladybug then throws the container she had into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!"
Mr. Pigeon turns back into Xavier Ramier while everything was restored.
"Pound It!" Ladybug and Cat Noir fist-bumped while Team Draconic have a five-way high-five.
"Well, that takes care of that." Hawk Moth said before facing his partner-in-crime. "I'm curious... How do you know about Dreadrock?"
"I had the... displeasure of running into him in New York." Damselfly said.
Hawk Moth just gives her a look as the window closes.
Meanwhile, in a dark room, a figure was seen looking at a monitor, which depicted Dreadrock's capture.
"So, Dreadrock got himself captured..." The figure said with a filtered voice. "No matter. I have plenty more mercenaries to unleash. Soon Dragnarok, you will be mine!"
And that's that!
So yeah, in Season 4, Dragnarok will be dealing with mercenaries sent after him by a mysterious figure. And these guys don't play around.
I also decided to give the other heroes some spotlight for this chapter.
I also want to announce the I'm taking a break from Draconic Miraculous of a while. I've got Sonic Frontiers and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, so those will keep me busy. Plus, I'm starting a new college course, so that will also keep me busy.
Once I'm done with my break, I'll start a new section on Draconic Bandicoot, as well as try to get a new story off the ground.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy, and I hope 2023 will be good.
