The title is self-explanatory, but this story originated from a challenge by a friend. She asked me to write something where Sam calls Jack "babe." But then she added the condition that it had to be for real and not a joke, alien influence, etc. Well, as soon as she said that, my brain created a five times fic.

Imagine being Major Davis and having to tell Jack about the Prometheus being hijacked with Sam and Jonas onboard. I recently rewatched this episode and had fun thinking about it, so here's a bit about that. T for swears.

It's always bothered me that the Tok'ra never think to test Martouf. So here we are spending some time in Jack's head during Divide & Conquer as he unpacks his emotional state. I'm not super at writing angst, but as a grumpy person I did my best to add some of that.

It also brings back old Jack's insecurities regarding his age difference towards Sam, and it will shake deeply their marriage. Stuck schmoozing on an alien planet, Jack's bored. Also, Carter has disappeared, which is a bit worrisome.
