There was never going to be any way for a bug controlling hero to be a cuddly PR-friendly Ward, especially when said hero is an antisocial teen. In which Taylor gets sidetracked by Wikipedia entries on bugs, thugs don't get the counselling that they will desperately need because they're in Brockton Bay, and BB's storm sewers finally get their dues.

I woke up from the locker with the power of invisibility. If only I'd had that before, how much better would have school been after the bullying started? But I guess that's not how the stories all go, because you only get what you want too late. (Alt power AU)
