Taylor doesn't trigger at the locker. She continues going to Winslow, and when Emma attacks her, using how she feel after her mother's death, she can't stand it anymore and attacks her. This attracts the attention of Shadow Stalker.

Taylor gets a more Brutish power while in the locker. It's not as straightforward a power as she would wish so testing is required.
