My attempt at exploring and understanding Castle and his thoughts in an overlooked scene from "Always," the S4 finale. One-shot.

A collection of small moments, mostly inspired by pictures or other graphics, within Castle and Beckett's emotional journey from friends to lovers. Each chapter is an unrelated ficlet, and the ratings and genres will change chapter to chapter, but I will include those notes at the top of every ficlet. This collection is rated M, but several of the chapters are not.

This story is set during Kate's 37th Birthday and the events surrounding it. It takes place 6 month after the shooting of both characters from May 2016.

Entry for the Castle Halloween Bash of 2016. A case forces the team to relocate to a remote location in the mountains to investigate the death of a mass murder survivor. Between legends, curses, a haunted sanatorium and a bloodthirsty serial killer, they have to choose wisely their next move, if they want to save their skin. Rating may be subject to a change.

Alexis is seeing someone and not knowing who is driving Rick nuts, so he starts investigating.

Kate has to leave town for a few days to help her father, and she leaves Rick with a little something to ease the disappointment of not being able to join her.
