Spoilers for season 8; started after the sneak peek for 8x05, but before I saw the episode. Castle can't bring himself to be present when Kate comes to "pick up the rest of her stuff", so he hides in his PI cave. Until he finds out she didn't take anything, and she wants to try to meet up.

This is a post 805 story and an entry into the 2015 Castle Halloween Bash. Castle and Alexis take pumpkins to a homeless shelter where Castle tells the kids a story of Kate and Alexander and their quest for a magic mirror to save Kate's mother from an evil spell and reveal the evil deeds of the thief Goniff. I own nothing Castle but I can dream.

Ryan and Esposito get into a bit of trouble when they leave the city to investigate a case. Now the boys must fight to survive in the middle of a storm with only each other to rely on. This story probably takes place around season 4. My first Castle story.
