Chapter 1: Dragon of Chaos

"Sieg-nii, can you pass me the rice?" Luna asked me, which brought me out of my zone-out state and I handed the aqua-haired girl bowl. "Thanks."

"You're welcome," I replied as I was still coming to terms with my new and rather absurd reality.

"Sig, if you're still feeling out of it, you can go back to bed," Jeanne d'Arc(my new older sister) said as she looked at me with worried face.

"Nah the brat is tough, and besides he has already has slept too much in my opinion," my other older sister said, Joan d'Arc aka Jeanne Alter, who was the alternate color palette twin of Jeanne.

The two of them having gotten home today from Duel Academy as Spring Vacation had started. Sadly it was only two weeks long.

"Yeah, Joan-nee is right, Sieg is tough even if he is shorter than me," Leo said with a giggle which earned a look from Jeanne.

"Ignoring Leo's comment, they are both right, I've been in bed way too much, anymore and I am going to look more like a stick than I already am," I replied as I ate my food.

As I still wondered how this could have happened to me?

Well, it was a stupid question to ask really as I already knew the answer to that.

I had died.

I had died and somehow gotten iskaied to the world of Yugioh 5ds, waking up in the body of a native Sieg though here it was Sieg d'Arc, younger brother of the twins Joan and Jeanne d'Arc and cousins of Luna and Leo Tenma. Twin brother and sister born of one Gekko Tenma. Our mother being Kriemhild d'Arc, Gekko's sister though not related by blood as they were both one of the many children adopted by one Maximillion Pegasus. Making him our grandfather. Though due to circumstances we all now lived together.

Now as for what happened to the Sieg of this world? Well, he had had been involved in a Duel Runner accident, hadn't even been on his, and I assumed died, at which point I had taken over his body and fused with the remaining soul bits. Gaining some of his skills and knowledge.

But that was just a theory of mine.

Though this Yugioh world I had woken up was definitely an 'AU' of some kind as Leo and Luna didn't have us as cousins, definitely weren't the grandchildren of Pegasus. And canon Luna definitely didn't have a pair of bowling ball sized tits stretching out her t-shirt. Leo was looking a lot more trap-ish. My own body was also an indication of this being a much more sexual universe, at least from my perspective as my own body being pure shota bait,(though my dick currently matched my body proportionally in terms of size, apparently my body didn't produce very much testosterone and other growth hormones leading to my 135cm size) with Jeanne and Joan screaming big titty onee-san as their breasts were at least twice as big as normal. But this world wasn't an RSM, or hentai variant of Yugioh, it was just as if somebody had turned up the sexy slider and left it at that. With only me seeming to notice as here elven-year-olds with big old titties weren't uncommon it seemed.

That wasn't the only thing that made this different as the history itself was different, Duel Monster as a game was about to be thirty years old in universe, but only Synchro was the only added extra deck mechanic, which was now almost 20 years old. There was no Yugi Moto King of Games. (Though she was still a known duelist having participated in Junior Leagues) Heck here Seto Kaiba had 'just' taken over KaibaCorp six years ago and turned it from a Weapons Developer to a Game Company that did humanitarian work. With Pegasus having just bought the Hologram technology from them over 35 years ago.

And Seto Kaiba was a pretty brunette chick with an obsession with Blue-eyes, which meant the only difference from normal Kaiba was gender and having an additional brother in the form of Noah Kaiba, and just like Leo they looked like very fuckable fem-boys.

And speaking of Blue-eyes, that was another difference that made this world's version of Duel Monsters closer to the kind I was familiar with, as there were more than four copies of the card in existence. It was something that made sense with how this world was obsessed with the game, meaning that almost one-third of the world played this game, which was truly insane from a number's perspective.

Meaning that a staggering number of cards had to be produced over the years.

Which was what gave rise to what was called the rarity chart.

Above 1-fucking-billion? Common.

Below and above one-hundred million? Uncommon

Ten-million, Rare.

Millions, Super Rare.

One-hundred-thousand, Ultra Rare.

Tens of thousands? Ultimate Rare.

Thousands, Secret Rare.

Hundreds. Secret Ultra Rare.

Of course, there still existed unique cards that only existed one kind off in the world, usually special decks and cards created by Pegasus to be given as prizes for the bigger tournaments. And cards people said were created from thin air, those singular unique cards were called Ghost Rare Cards, as they might as well not exist in the public eye.

Now back to Blue-Eyes, it was in the Secret Rare category (with people theorizing as there no concrete numbers. There was about 3k in existence) with the support cards down in terms of rarity, though I assumed the Duel Spirit of Kisara only existed in Kaiba's Blue-eyes cards.

Meaning there was also a proper ban list.

Pot of Greed? Banned.

Same with a bunch of other cards irl. With other being limited and semi-limited Though they were mostly in the common and uncommon categories, as the higher you went the less of them were banned. Which made sense. Having less versions of those cards made them less problematic at tournaments. Dragon Ruler? That shit is fully legal as the full versions are in the Ultimate Rare Category. Though with how long Synchro's had existed in this world without the others being added, lot of the modern support for Ritual, Fusion and Synchro had been released into the wild.

Yeah, that was the status of the game in this world.

"Big sis can we turn on the TV, grandfather's speech is about to happen," Leo asked Jeanne.

"Of course, I hoped we managed to finish before, but you and Sieg were so absorbed by your duel we had to delay." Jeanne said which caused Leo to look sheepish, while I just shrugged, I wasn't going to surrender due to dinner. And speaking of Dueling it seemed that the old Joan ran a deck of mostly dragon type monsters, while Leo ran Morphtronics, but he had access to Power Tool Dragon and its two other variants, Mecha Tool and Braver. No Life Stream Dragon and Luna didn't have Fairy Dragon either, but she did have Ancient Pixie Dragon. Which was based on a Ghost Rare that had never been released to the public as the original had been stolen.

The dragon deck was decent but nothing to write home about the only outstanding things about was the inclusion of Lightsworn Raiden and Light Brigade as one of the decks only Tuners, though that was only to get out the ace monster in the form of Chaos Dragon Levianeer, and access its other effects. With my extra consisting out of some generic synchro stuff, with only my one copy of Psychic End Punisher, once again being the standout. The Old Sieg had gotten the former from a random Booster Pack, and the later from a local tourney where he had somehow won.

But the deck didn't really feel like me, like it was mine, but I had been struggling to how modify it.

My thoughts were pulled away from deck building and towards the TV as Joan turned it on. And she seemed to have done so at just the right time as we saw Pegasus sit down in front of a mass of microphones. As for the man who was now my step-grandfather he still looked like his anime/manga counterpart just… older, I could see some of the winkles the now 64-year-old-man was starting to develop.

"Good evening, afternoon and morning Duelists around the world," Pegasus spoke in English probably as to require as little translation as possible as this an international broadcast. "Maximillion Pegasus here with a special announcement for you all, as you all know tomorrow the 40th Anniversary Celebration of Duel Monsters starts tomorrow, special deals on Booster Packs and Structure Decks as usual of course, re-prints of highly valued cards in packs the standard yearly affair for the last fifteen years. It is truly spectacular how far this game on mine has come since introduced it to the world thirty years ago, at the start there were no fancy holographic projections of cards, just old fashioned playmats, I think those are actually collector items now." There was a smile on Pegasus face as he reminisced. "2000 life points and no tribute summoning, special summoning was rare and only one monster could attack at the time, that format didn't last though. Soon it became 4000, with tribute summoning as a mechanic and even more special summoning. That format lasted for 18 years until I introduced Synchro Summoning as a new mechanic, matches became best of three, but people felt that was to boring so it returned to best of one matches though with 8000 Life Points instead." Pegasus continued to smile at the camera. "Yes, Synchro Summoning changed a lot, two new monster sub-types, Ritual Monsters ending up getting removed from the Extra Deck, some people got mad about that and still are to this day." He laughed and so did the sea of reports that was in front of him that we could not see. "So, it with that I would like to announce to you! Duelists around the world. That after twenty years a new method of summoning has been added to the Extra Deck, I would like to introduce to you all Xyz Summoning, roll the clip boys!" Pegasus declared as the as the video feed changed from live to an animated clip to my still ongoing shock and surprise that showed how Xyz Summoning worked.

"Oh, wow that is so cool, I wanna try get some of them, do you think Grandpa are saving some for us?"

"He is probably going to show up with a few booster packs as usual," Jeanne answered and I still just continued to watch the introduction video as this further just changed things drastically, was Zexal stuff going to be involved now? I didn't want to deal with Yuma and Astral's bullshit.

"I defenitly want some of those?" Joan said with a wicked grin.

The things that were probably going to happen already were bullshit enough.

After the demonstration video ended and it returned to Pegasus.

"And that my beautiful Duelists is the concept of Xyz Summoning. When stores open locally you will be able to buy Booster Packs and Structure Decks containing them and brand-new Archetypes, I am a fan of the one called Madolche, so cute." Pegasus said with a laugh. "Now in other news, my Duel Academies around the world are soon going to start another year, new joining after the third years have graduated as a reminder for those that need to take it, the Duel Entrance Exams are going to happen in one weeks and for those that are going to join and attending students I have news. Take it away Kaiba-girl!" Pegasus announced and once again the video feed changed to a pre-recorded video showing one Seto Kaiba standing in front of the camera, looking as gloom and serious as she always did.

"Greetings worms." Yeah, she was Seto Kaiba alright. "I would introduce myself, but you all know who I am already, I am here to introduce you to KaibaCorp's and Industrial Illusion's newest product. Five years ago, I created the Duel Disk known as the Duel Pad and to today in celebration of this games 40th Anniversary, I am here to show of the Duel Pad 2, sleeker and more compact than the first one, consisting of only three parts." Three pictures appeared above her. "First the gauntlet to keep it secured to the arm, second the chassis, which contains the Deck, Extra Deck, Spell/Trap and Field Zone, and finally the Graveyard/Banish Zone. The third is the new and improved Pad." Kaiba held up the now much more compact phone/tablet which she inserted into the chassis. "Like previously it controls the duel, digitally accounting for most of the things mentioned previously and once again serves as multi-media device when removed from the chassis." She took it out and in again to highlight that. "Now you might be wondering where the blade is? Quite simple, it is right here." And with that a blade of black light, surrounded by a line of blue appeared which Kaiba demonstrated to be solid as she placed a copy of Alexandrite Dragon on it making it appear beside her. "As I said more compact than ever, with new hard light system your duels are about to become even more real."

Demonstrated by her physically touching the dragon and her hand not passing through.

"These will go on sale next week as they are currently being shipped out worldwide, though for students of Duel Academies around the world, especially Duel Academy Central, you will get your own when you arrive, for I only duel against those who use top of the line equipment like myself, the rest you losers though, huh you're going to have to buy it."

At that the video came to an end, with Kaiba pretty much confirming she was going to join Dual Academy Central or Dual Academy Japan, or Central Academy as it was also called, but the first one was its official name.

"My such a smart girl, but I guess smart girls need big heads to contain all juicy knowledge," Pegasus said as the focus was once again on him, unintentionally throwing shade at Kaiba. Or very much intentionally you could never tell with him. I definitely couldn't.

"And that is all, I bid you all farewell, until next time Duelists, and remember to trust in your cards, and your cards will trust you back."

And like that the broadcast was over.

"Wow, I want one of those!" Leo said in amazement.

"Yeah, they looked pretty cool," I said in response as it looked like Kaiba had made the Arc-V Duel Disks. And they were much more compact than the Duel Pad, I was currently using.

"If you behave well, I am sure you dad is getting one for you for your birthday Leo," Jeanne said to calm the male twin down.

"You think?"

"Definitely?"

"So, Sieg-nee, you're going to Dual Academy, right?" Luna asked sounding very sad as it probably now only clicked for her that Jeanne, Joan and I were going to be gone for most of the year, leaving her and Leo alone in the house pretty much, with only the help as due to Gekko's job managing the U.S Branch of Industrial illusion he was barely home. But he was talking about getting that changed soon. And Kriemhild was a international Pro Duelist who was on tour often.

"Yeah, did well on the written exam apparently just missing the Duel Exam now." I answered. "But you already know that so why are you asking, are you worried about being alone?"

"What do you mean alone Sieg-nii? I am going to be here right by Luna's side," Leo declared and if I didn't know any better, I would say he was a siscon, but he never actually thrown a singular glance at his sister's amazing pair of tits, nor Jeanne or Joan's. Though it could be he just didn't see girls like that yet or he was gay.

Not that I judged if that was the case.

"I know, but even with Big sis and Joan-nee going, Sieg-nii was still here, and now it's going to be making the house quiet," Luna said, and I could see how that would make her sad as this penthouse was huge, not even sure why Gekko had bought this place.

"I know things are going to change Luna, but even if we aren't here, you can still call us whenever you want, I know it's not the same, but it's the best we've got," I said as I hugged the girl, trying desperately to ignore the feeling of her breasts smoshing against my stomach due to the position.

"I know, and I will try," The Aqua-haired replied as she leaned into the hug further, making me blush.

"Urgh you are being way to dramatic and besides mom is going to be home by Golden Week and be home until like September when the new Pro Season starts up," Joan spoke finishing of her sentence with a belch.

"Joan!" Jeanne lambasted her twin, which made us all laugh removing all the previous tension.

Yeah.

I liked this new family of mine.

"Ah, I do love making these kinds of announcements," Pegasus said to himself his mood through the roof as he was escorted to his car as he still had a few errands to do before he paid his lovely grandchildren a visit.

"Sir!" He heard somebody shout and he saw one of his guards come running towards him clearly worried about something.

"Shin, my boy what is it?" He asked as the twenty-ish old came to a stop in front of him and the others. "Just got a report from the Vault." That immediately chilled Pegasus' blood. "One of the cells were broken into."

"Which one?" He asked.

"They said Cell C-2," He answered, and the chilled blood started to freeze a little. "Both have been stolen. Two perpetrators confirmed so far, one has fully escaped but one was captured but he threw the case containing 1-C into the bay. It has not been found."

"Keep looking, those cards are too dangerous to about especially that one." Pegasus ordered as he entered his limo.

"Yes sir," Young Shin replied as the door closed. "Change of plans, take me to the Domino Vault."

"Yes sir," The driver replied as the black screen went up leaving Pegasus completely isolated in his limo or rather he would be if a seemingly naked humanoid figure of feminine proportions didn't appear next to him a few seconds later. Though the body seemed to lack any secondary sexual characteristics.

"What has got you worked us Pegasus?"

"Hello Astral, and what has gotten me worked up is that somebody have stolen some rather dangerous cards from my Vault." Pegasus answered the light-blue woman as she seemingly floated in front of him.

"What kind?"

"A Synchro Boss Monster and one Effect Monster that were meant as a prize card for a WCS years ago, the monsters as cards are strong but the Spirit attached to their image are malicious," Pegasus answered, that was something that happened sometimes when people designed cards. Normally cards were normal, and it required duelists with a great amount of Ba to attract the Duel Spirit associated with it. But sometimes drawing the very image of a Duel Spirit, even if done unknowingly would call upon them, and not all of them were friendly. And those that weren't got sealed away most of them in the Domino Vault, few others placed beneath the academies as the great amount of concentrated Ba, fueled the seals on those monsters. Quite a genius bit of Shadow Magic on his part.

"Well, I hope they are found." Astral said simply.

"I do to my friend, the sheer chaos those two cards could cause if free would be devastating." Pegasus stated. "But for now, tell me more have you managed to locate a partner yet?"

"No but I hope the Numbers will find a compatible one."

"I see that you are lacking your compatriot." A man cast in shadow spoke as a shaking man entered the room he sat in, the sound of medical equipment echoing through it.

"He… got shot and I had to abandon him after he got shot and captured," He responded.

"And what of the card?" He asked the mercenary that he had hired for this job.

"I managed to get away with mine, but he had to throw the case over board," He answered.

"And you have not retrieved it?" He asked.

"No."

"Disappointing, go and find them, but first give me the card," The man spoke as the mercenary took out a Duel Monsters card sealed in a hard metal casing, scripture around it that obviously alluded to Shadow Magic Seal around it.

Pegasus had indeed become very talented, but his young student was still a novice compared to him.

"Excellent," He spoke. "You know your next job. Locate the lost Chaos Cards."

"Understood," The Mercenary said as he left leaving the man who had hired him in the shadows.

"Sir, why rely on those foolish mortal men when we could easily accomplish the task," A new voice from within Darkness.

"Because I want you and other Shadow Riders to remain unknown for now," Kagemaru spoke as the old man held up and a golden ring around his middle finger an Eye of Anubis emblazoned on it. The Shadow Charms were powerful items allowing one to command Shadow Magic, though in comparison to the Millenium Items they were but cheap imitations.

"Understandable Sir, us who exists in the shadows between Light and Darkness need to be careful or we will get obliterated now that it is all coming to a head both good and bad parts of both sides."

"Yes, utter chaos will soon be upon this world, which we need the power of the Sacred Beasts," Kagemaru as he looked at the card before him, Chaos End Ruler, it and the spirits of other Chaos Cards were some of the strongest Duel Spirits outside of the Beasts, The Signer Dragon, Earthbound Immortals and the various God Cards. So, he needed to learn to subjugate them before he could the Beasts, he had tried years before, but he failed resulting in his body aging rapidly and losing control of his Duel Academy.

"And we will fight alongside you Sir, all of us will."

"I know Aticus, I know, and I thank you for your faith in me." Kagemura said speaking of the name of the boy whom he had rescued from the Shadow Realm two years ago. The boy changed from his experience having now fused with the Spirit of Nightshroud. Adopting its name as a code name.

"Of course, who else would I? Sheppard?"

The wind blew in my face as I rode my motorcycle, or rather Duel Runner as in this day and age you couldn't get a bike that wasn't also a Duel Runner because this world's obsession with this game was insane.

Now I wasn't the biggest fan of Turbo Dueling, but thankfully this version of it was much simpler as there was no Speed Spells, so no need to run two separate Decks, the only thing mandatory was Speed Word and its two effects, preventing other Field Spells from being played and disabling Autopilot on the bikes to fully test the limit of the riders making the focus on both the duel and their riding.

Now as for why I was out riding my bike in the middle of the evening?

Well Pegasus had called the house and said he had planned to show up, but something had come and had to delay for tomorrow.

So, I had decided to go for a ride, to actually experience the city for myself as I had been pretty much copped up in the Penthouse recovering from the accident, but thankfully my anime body healed quickly and so after three weeks of recovery I was fully healed.

And so, I was now cruising along the highway, or rather the newly finished Daedalus Bridge KaibaCorp, which now connected the two city parts, sure it was still a slum and trash heap but since the start of the year it was now being cleaned up and finally repaired again thanks to Kaiba as she had simply just bought Satellite from New Domino City, a thing she had apparently been working for five years, with the bridge/highway network taking three years to be constructed, which also served a city wide Turbo Duel Arena.

As for why Kaiba did that?

To paraphrase her statement to the press.

"The disconnect is preventing Duelists there from being known and their talents blooming."

Girl was obsessed, but I figured it was just because in this universe Kaiba was from the Satellite. And she wanted to give back, but she was just being Tsundere about it.

Something told me Goodwin wasn't happy about that considering what his plan had been for it.

And so, I traveled across it, crossing over into the Satellite and the first thing I notice was the different atmosphere.

It was depressing, the air reeked of despair and misery though it seemed like it was slowly being filtered out, and I couldn't tell if that the literal Underworld Hellmouth under here or the people, but I could tell it was betting better as I traveled changing as I went through area that were not under reconstruction new homes being made and remade, people working to fix the literal slavery they had been in for the past 15 years, yeah there was the resentment and it was not something that would go away for years.

There was going to be a New Domino City vs Satellite mentality for a very long time, though it seemed that many were happy that Kaiba herself was basically their new boss instead of Goodwin.

Though with this change I wondered what the Enforcers were up to as Jack was not the King of Turbo Dueling, making me wonder if the presence of Kaiba had prevented Rex from finding out Jack was a Signer and so had stayed in Satellite with Yusei. Or due to how I was technically two-years before Canon 5ds started as I did remember that 5ds had started 17 years after the Reverse Zero incident. And currently 15 years had passed since then.

Though I didn't wanna go looking for them as I had no clue where they were as The Satellite was a pretty big place and I just wanted to-

"You."

My bike came to a halt as I hit the brakes at the sound voice that echoed in my head.

"You are the one." The deep voice spoke again, and then I felt it, the pull, a need to go in a certain direction. "Come and find me." The voice finished but I could still feel that pulling sensation.

And it seemed that I found the plot. And I knew damned well that I couldn't ignore the voice speaking in my head and so I headed in the direction it was guiding me.

And to my surprise it wasn't very far actually, the pull leading me vest of the bridge and off the road down to what could be called 'the beach' though it was more of scrapyard that was slowly being cleared.

"By the water." The voice in my head said again as I got off my bike. Continuing towards the beckoning voice, I knew it was probably a bad idea but whatever this entity was it just spoke to me.

I came to the water and stopped as I tried to find what I was looking for.

"In the sphere." The voice spoke again, and I felt my eyes moving downward and there I saw a metallic sphere with latches on it. I picked it up and with a simple press of a button it opened up like it was a Pokeball.

And inside it was a Duel Monster card, which was inside the same kind of clear plastic container that most solo cards were, but this one had something that looked like Hieroglyphs on the outside shimmering in the light of twilight.

"Were you the one?" I asked.

"Yes, I was one calling you, I could sense you, and now I knew my senses had not failed me. So much Chaos and Ba in a human of this age." The card spoke, and I could read its name. Chaos Ruler, The Chaotic Magical Dragon. Level 8 Synchro Monster. "You are the one who should not exist yet do, outside of mechanism of fate, life ended yet continued, you are the embodiment of Chaos and the perfect partner for me."

"Really? Just like that? No spooky contracts, or deals? You just wanna be my Ka?" I asked.

"Yes. Is that so hard to believe? I have been waiting for years to find my partner ever since this card summoned my Spirit to this plane of existence, what do you say…"

"Sieg, the name is Sieg d'Arc."

"Sieg, a strong name for a strong warrior, do you accept my proposal? To become partners, oh you who shall throw a spanner in the works of both Light and Darkness."

"Sure why not," I answered.

"Good simply break open my seal and our pact will be sealed." Chaos Ruler said.

And I did just that, clicking open the cards container, the Hieroglyphs flickering for but a moment before they died as it opened up. Which immediately caused Chaos Ruler's body to manifest in front of me.

"Ah yes, it is good to be out, thank you my new partner," Chaos Ruler spoke verbally and not into my mind.

"You are welcome," I replied.

"And I thank you Sieg, like I said I hope our partnership shall cause great Chaos," He spoke as his spirit body vanished back into his card and I put him in my Extra Deck and went back to my bike.

"Hmm, you deck is a little boring Sieg, not the one who small become a Master of Chaos should be using." Chaos Ruler sounded a bit disgruntled.

"That is old me's deck, I still haven't made one that is me yet." I replied mentally.

"Already figuring out the communication? Excellent, I knew you were the right one. When we shall seek out my compatriots and other followers of Chaos, you already have a few that owe their allegiance to Chaos such as that Lightsworn fellow." Chaos Ruler said, and it made me muse.

A Chaos Deck.

A deck centered around Light and Darkness and the banishing of such.

I had never really thought of it but, it just spoke to me as I thought about it.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, let's go and find your friends, we've got one week until the entrance exam."

"Entrance exam? Time is not an issue; you shall have your deck on time for I shall guide you."
