Chapter 1: Bakugan, the Battle Begins!

-In an unknown hyperspace-

A vast void surrounded a large purple sphere of lightning which had a large white dragon inside it, flapping its wings as it roared, floating in front of the orb, a green skinned and purple haired man stood in front of it as a purple orb the size of a bowling ball in his hand.

"Finally, the silent orb is complete." The man spoke proudly with evil in his tone. "Now all Bakugan will bow to me! Hahaha!"

-Monster Island in another alternate universe-

Monster Island, a sacred, yet dangerous place. Humans are known to keep distance from this island, for there lived large monsters the people of japan called Kaiju. They come in different shapes and sizes, developing powerful abilities far beyond their own imagination. However, one in particular, rules them all, and has been for over 60 years.

The beast stood 60 meters tall, weighed 90,000 tons and bore the form of a lizard on two legs, it had dark coal scales and spines on its back. This incredible monster was named Godzilla, King of the monsters, one of the oldest and legendary Kaiju to ever exist.

The mighty beast was sleeping in his cave before a sound woke him up. He growled slightly as he stood. "What is making that racket?" He growled in the Kaiju language. He stepped out from his cave and was surprised to see his son, godzilla Jr, who happens to be the prince of the kaiju race. The young kaiju was developing in his teenage years, now eager to become as strong as his father.

The spines developing on his back glowed slightly blue before he fired a smaller version of his fathers most powerful move, the atomic breath, which was made of pure radiating energy. The blue beam blasted through the trees and hit a nearby boulder as it blasted into hundreds of pieces.

The teenage Kaiju turned to his dad. "Like that pops? It's called the Atomic Slingshot."

The older kaiju chuckled and patted his head. "Impressive son, but you have a long way to go before you reach my level of power. Though it only felt like yesterday when you were just a hatchling."

"Dad…" The creature groaned.

Just then a rumble was heard from the distance and several Kaiju started stampeding away from something.

"What's going on dad?" Junior asked.

"No idea, let me ask your half brother. RODAN!" He called. A large pterodactyl kaiju flew to the two, he is Rodan, the fastest flier on the island, and one of Godzilla's few oldest allies. "What is happening?"

"There's some kind of portal opening, it's ripping the far end of the island up from underground." Rodan answered. "It definitely ain't human made, that's for damn sure!"

Godzilla and Junior were now curious as they started heading for the source. "Make sure the other kaiju are at a safe distance. My son and I will check this out."

"Yes sir!" The pteranodon said as he flew off.

The two walked to the source and saw that there were two portals, one in the sky and one on the ground, at the very moment, Mothra and her fairy companions were being dragged into the one in the sky along with Battra.

"Mothra! Battra!" Godzilla roared as he lashed his tail and managed to snag both the female moths.

"Thank you Gojira." They said. The winds picked up even stronger as they heard a roar in the sky. Looking, in the far distance was a large purple orb, containing a white dragon within.

"What in the name of…?" Godzilla gasped as the orb shot his tail and the two bug Kaiju were sent into the portal. "NO!" he tried to reach them, but they vanished.

"AH! Father!" He heard Junior as he saw him being lifted and heading for the portal as well.

"Junior!" The king roared as he chased after him, Only to be caught in the portal's wake, along with all his other fellow Kaiju. When they were gone, the portals vanished and left no trace of them anywhere.

-The Doom Dimension-

The Doom Dimension, a dark and cruel world where creatures called bakugan were lost, with no hope or light anywhere. The bakugan trapped here became nothing but cold statues of rock. Corpses in a dark dusty grave.

Suddenly a red orb of light appeared from a turtle corpse, then a green one, then a blue one, purple, orange, all different colors appeared from the corpses as they all collected into a large orb the size of a moon appeared, then it exploded, revealing the silhouette of a humanoid dragon as it roared and flew off into another portal.

-Wardington, Japan, Earth-

In a park near a fountain, two boys were ganging up on another kid who thought their skills sucked.

"No way! I wasn't making fun of you guys!" The boy defended.

"Admit it, punk! You were making fun of the way I Battle, right Akira?" A rather large boy said.

"That's what I heard." A young kid in a hat with a bucked tooth agreed. "What's your problem kid?"

Looking at the boy closer he was shorter than the big kid. He had an average build for a kid of seventeen, with green hair that had red tips. He also had green eyes, fair skin, and apparently he had oddly long canines.

His attire was a green short jacket, a red tank top, and a set of green pants with red patches on the knees. Complete with a pair of red sneakers, green glasses, and red fingerless gloves that reached his forearm, as well as a custom Godzilla themed bakupod watch.

"Nothing, I just like bakugan." the boy explained with a frown.

"Well, so do I." The large boy grinned, pounding a fist to his palm. "And now, I'm gonna show you how it's played."

The boy wanted to laugh and insult them, but decided to toy with them for a second. "But...I'm new at Bakugan, I don't even know all the rules yet." He stated.

Of course this was a ball face lie, it was a luring tactic he liked to use.

"Well, you're about to learn, the hard way." The big boy smirked with his arms crossed.

"Teach him a lesson, Shunji." Akira cheered on with a fist pump.

"Back off Shunji!" A new voice yelled from behind them.

They turned and saw it was a kid about their age, he had a dragonoid on his left shoulder. His hair was brown while wore a yellow tank top and a red jacket with red pants and blue shoes and blue fingerless gloves.

"Wha!? Dan!? This is none of your business! Get lost!" Shunji shouted.

The boy flicked his thumb across his nose as the green haired boy looked at him in surprise. "Holy shit! Dan from the Bakugan Brawlers? You're all over the 'net!"

"Glad that we have some fans." Dan chuckled. "So, you want some help taking this guy down?"

"Are you Serious?! That would be awesome!" This time he wasn't lying.

"No problem, I'll show you some of my old tricks. And if you're lucky, I won't even charge ya. Heh heh." Dan chuckled as the four pulled out their cards.

"Bakugan! Field Open!" They yelled as their cards glowed. Everything around them changed as they appeared in some kind of alternative dimension.

"Now, since you're pretty new, I'll give you the basic 101 lessons. In order to win at bakugan, you need to eliminate the opponent's bakugan before they do to you." Dan instructed.

The boy closed his eyes, then opened them as they were now a red color with slit pupils. Cracking his knuckles he grinned. "No need. I already know all that. The novice routine I pulled was just a ruse." He added.

"Huh, interesting." Dan grinned. "Well, why don't you show me what you got then."

"Sure. And by the way, the name is Shirō!" He yelled as he pulled out a card. "Gate card set!"

"Gate card set!" Shunji called as their cards flung to the field and grew in size.

"Here we go! Bakugan Brawl!" Shiro roared as he threw one of his bakugan to his card. "Bakugan Stand! Rise Pyrus Juggernoid!"

The bakugan emerged and roared.

"Battle Begins. Pyrus Juggernoid enters battle at 170Gs. No other data available." The bakupods buzzed.

"You're toast! Bakugan Brawl!" Shunji yelled as a brown orb rolled up. "Bakugan Stand!"

A large burst of orange light appeared as a mantis of some kind emerged.

"Subterra Mantris enters battle at 320Gs." The machine buzzed.

Shiro smirked. "I was hoping you'd crawl into my trap! Gate card Open! G-power Swap!" the card glowed and revealed as the energies of the bakugan were swapping. "As the name states, G-power swap can switch the G-power of the bakugan who stands on this card!"

"G-Power swapped. Mantis now at 170Gs. Juggernoid at 320Gs." The bakupods spoke.

"Oh ho no!" Shunji gasped.

"Get him Juggernoid!" The boy roared as his bakugan lunged and bashed against the bug as it surged back to sphere form and rolled to Shunji's feet.

The burly boy growled as he threw another ball. "Bakugan brawl!" The ball rolled on his card as a giant brown crab appeared. "Bakugan stand!"

"Terror Claw enters battle at 280Gs." The machine explained.

"Hmmm…" Shirō hummed. "Okay, Fear Ripper you're up! Bakugan brawl!" he threw his next one out as the reaper bakugan emerged.

"Pyrus Fear Ripper at 340Gs." The bakupod buzzed.

"Ha! I'm ready for that! Gate card open! Character Card!" Shunji laughed as his Terror Claws' power level doubled.

"Subterra Terrorclaw power increase to 560 Gs." Shirō's bakupod buzzed.

"Oh no your Terrorclaw's power level is over five hundred, whatever shall I do?" The boy asked in a mock scared voice before sneering. "Yeah right, ability card activate! Tear Away!"

Fear Ripper claws suddenly sparked with red and yellow fire as it lunged at Terrorclaw and jumped on its head, digging its claws into the crustaceans skull and draining its G-power.

"Terrorclaw sudden power decrease to 280 Gs, Frearripper power level increase to 620 Gs." Both Bakupods buzzed.

"Tear away is an ability card that only Fear Ripper can use, it forcibly cuts the opposing Bakugan's power level in half while adding it to his own." Shiro grinned, dragging his finger across his throat. "Okay Fear Ripper, annihilate that overgrown crustacean!"

The bakugan agreed before it swung its massive claws at Terrorclaw. The hit was successful as the insect screeched and returned to its ball, landing near Shunji's feet.

"Grrrrr!" Shunji growled angrily.

"What's wrong, Shunji? Bakugan got your tongue?" Shiro mocked with a toothy grin. "Or are you all bark, and no bite?"

Dan looked at the boy in surprise, this kid had a serious attitude change, not to mention a huge ego. "Don't you think how he changed gears seems a little odd, Drago?"

"Yes, I feel that." His partner replied. "But there's something different that I'm sensing from him. As if there's a source of incredible energy flowing in his body. It's not from Vestroia though."

"Then where does it come from?" Dan asked again.

"I don't know, what I do know is that when Shiro brawls, that energy awakens and will stop at nothing to win." The pyrus dragon replied.

"Then this guy could be our ticket to beating masquerade." The brown haired boy said.

"We shall see." Drago nodded as they watched the finale of the battle.

"Gate Card set!" Shiro called as he tossed his final card down. "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Rise Pyrus Laserman!" A robotic bakugan emerged as it readied its guns for battle.

"Pyrus Laserman enters battle at 340 Gs." The bakupod spoke.

"Ha! Your tin can is going down! Bakugan Brawl!" Shunji laughed throwing his Bakugan. "Bakugan stand!"

A giant humanoid dinosaur appeared, it was a Subterra Saurus!

"Subterra Saurus at 340Gs." The machine hummed.

"Let's end this now! Gate Card Open! Character card!" Shiro called as the card opened up.

"Laserman at 680 Gs." Bakupod spoke.

"And to make sure this truly ends! Ability Card activate! Laser Impact!" The green haired boy tossed the ability card he had as Laserman's cannons fired around the field. "This ability card will make sure you can't activate ability cards for this battle!"

Shunji stuttered several times before his Saurus was sent flying towards him before it turned back in a ball and landed on his head, all the while the large boy was cowering in Terror.

Shirō caught his Bakugan and tossed it in the air, catching it. "That's my skills talking!"

"Game set and match. Winner, Shiro. 380 baku points awarded." The bakupod buzzed as they returned to the human world.

Akira looked at his brother who was kneeling. "How, how did you beat my brother?!"

The boy looked up and growled at Shiro as he stood up. "Don't think this is over kid! Just wait till the tournament! You'll be sorry!" The brothers ran off. "And he didn't beat me Akira. I...I let him win."

Dan approached as he gave the boy a small punch to the chest. "Nice work out there. You totally shredded it. If you're this good, you should totally enter the tournament Shunji was talking about. It will take place at the bakugan dome in a few days."

"Alright, But before that, I need a worthy partner, ya know...a talking Bakugan, like Drago." The boy said, his eyes slowly becoming green again and his demeanor changing to a kinder persona.

"Yeah, I see what you mean. It's important to have a bakugan you can bond and trust with." The leading brawler replied with a nod.

"Well, I'll see you later dan, maybe I'll catch you online sometime?" Shirō asked.

"Totally, and maybe you and I should brawl, if possible, you might be one of us one day." Dan grinned.

"Totally." The boy smiled. "Oh and here." He handed Dan a slip of paper. "It has my address on it, if you ever in town, go ahead and stop by. It also has my YouTube page, I think you'll like what's on there, so far I have over fifty thousand subscribers."

"Thanks Shiro. Catch ya later." Dan waved as he walked off.

(Later)

Shiro sighed as he walked down the stairs of the park after parting ways with Dan and couldn't help but sigh as he looked up at the sky in a melancholic state.

"I'll be a battle brawler. Someday." He sighed to himself as he neared a smaller two cisterned fountain in the center of a small plaza when a sudden and bright light nearly blinded him.

It only lasted a few seconds, but when those seconds passed, he felt something hit his foot. This made him look down and blink upon spotting a bakugan there.

"Huh? A bakugan?" Shiro muttered before he picked up the ball-shaped creature.

The orb was black with dark gray and white markings on it and what looked like markings similar to back spines as it opened, revealing that the Bakugan had arm flaps, a tail and feet that came out, which all seemed to be saurian in nature.

"Hm?" The bakugan rumbled, his voice gruff before looking up at Shiro. "Who are you?" He questioned, his tone firm and commanding. "Where am I?" He added.

"Uh, planet Earth." Shiro replied, confused.

"Nation?" The creature continued to prod.

"Japan." The boy replied once more, his confusion growing. "Who even are you?" He questioned.

"I never really went by a name." The creature stated before he looked at Shiro. "But you humans call me Gojira." He continued, unphased by the boy's shocked reaction. If anything, he just seemed annoyed.

"U-Uh… Um…" The green haired teen stammered as he tried to catch himself. After a few seconds of this, he shook his head before speaking. "Well… I don't think you're on your Earth anymore, if you're expecting me to take you to Monster Island." He told the (currently) bite sized Kaiju with a gulp.

He felt so fucking nervous right now. Why shouldn't he?! He was holding the King of the Monsters in his hand!

"Hmmm, I sense that there's something different from my original home, which would explain my current form…" The Kaiju mused. "You, boy. Will you help me understand my new form and find my other fellow monsters?" He questioned, though it seemed more like a command than a request.

"Yeah… Sure." Shiro replied with a sigh. It felt logical to comply since… Well, what sounded smart about saying no to a Kaiju? Nothing did.

"Good." The King nodded. "Now, I think we should head to wherever you live." He added.

"Uh, yeah… Let's go." The boy nodded. "Though I should warn you, my mom and little brother haven't really met a talking Bakugan—That's what you've become—before. You could spook them." He added.

"I'll keep that in mind, human." The King of Monsters said.

"Shiro." The teen corrected.

"What?" Gojira questioned.

"My name, it's Shiro." He responded.

"Hmph. Very well, then… Shiro." Gojira grunted as the teen started walking home.

Meanwhile, at a small cafe in Wardington that was actually a place that Bakugan Brawlers frequented on the regular between brawls and tournaments, a young girl was sitting at a table with a coffee in one hand and a scone on a plate in front of her.

The girl had dark coal colored hair that fell to her hips, red eyes and fair skin. She wore a white tank top and black vest, white pants were small and tight, reaching to her mid thighs and black fingerless gloves.

Her body type was curvy and hourglass, hips wide, begging to be held, legs as thick as tree trunks, a rear end the shape of a heart, and a buxom bust that was being held by the vest.

"Need a refill?" A voice asked, causing the girl to turn and see a girl with apricot skin, emerald green eyes and sky blue hair that was in pigtails. Her yellow crop top and white skirt are covered by an apron.

This was Runo Misaki, the Haos Battle Brawler.

"I'd like that, yes." The girl nodded, her voice holding a Russian accent.

"It'll be in front of you in a bit." The blunette nodded as she took the cup and proceeded to get her customer a refill.

"Say, aren't you Runo, the twelfth highest brawler? The Battle Brawler's Haos teammate?" The coal haired girl questioned as Runo came back with her coffee.

"Yeah. Why?" Runo asked in response.

"I think I forgot this is your cafe for a moment." The girl chuckled.

"Yeah, we are pretty small." The Haos brawler chuckled with a sweat drop. "Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that we're popular with the other Bakugan Brawlers all over Wardington, I'm not sure we'd be able to stay afloat this long…" She added.

"It is pretty popular with us Bakugan Brawlers, you're right." The new girl nodded, sipping her coffee.

"You play Bakugan?" Runo questioned, tray now pressed firmly to her stomach.

"Mmm, Zina Raliakov, number twenty in the Russian national rankings and number thirty internally." The ravenette nodded. "My attribute of choice is a mix of Subterra, and Darkus Bakugan." She added.

"Wow. Don't see many combo Brawlers in Wardington." Runo mused. "What brings you here from Russia?" She asked.

"The tournaments, mainly." Zina replied. "I'm staying with my aunt Mina and cousins Jenny and Jewels." She added as a white blip popped its head out of Runo's apron pocket. "Oh, is that your Bakugan?" She questioned, looking at the Haos Tigrerra Runo had.

"Yeah. Tigrerra's honestly one of the best partners I've ever had." Runo nodded in reply with a smile.

Zina sighed wistfully as she rested her cheek on her hand. "How lucky you are. I would've loved to have my own talking Bakugan." She sighed.

"I'm sure you'll find one. You just have to keep looking." Runo told her.

"The Bakugan often chooses you, not the other way around." Tigrerra nodded as the two parted ways while Zina continued enjoying her cafe food.

(Later)

As if the universe was listening, bright light lit the sidewalk as Zina left the cafe to head home—causing the two girl to cover her eyes. Then she heard something land on the ground at her feet, prompting her to look and see that a Bakugan had appeared.

"A Bakugan?" She gasped in surprise as she picked the orb up, noting that it was black and green in color with an almost saurian design, similar to a t-rex with back spine patterns.

It then opened, revealing that it looked like a T-Rex with giant back spines on it and a large underbite, a spined tail, a glowing green underbelly and red eyes.

"What the…?" A gruff male voice questioned as the Bakugan looked around.

"Did you get lost somehow?" Zina asked, drawing the new Bakugan's attention to her.

"No idea, all I remember is digging underground and then there was a cave in… now I'm here." The Bakugan replied, looking around. "Wherever here is." He added.

"Well, you're in Japan." The Russian girl told the Bakugan. "Who are you, by the way?" She wondered.

"Well, a bunch of humans did name me Zilla." The now identified Zilla replied, causing a record scratch to go off in the Russian girl's head.

'... I have the American Godzilla in my palm… Eh. I know how tough he can be.' She thought with a small shrug.

"Well, it would seem you've become a Bakugan—that is a creature that's in the form of a ball—So, I could help you understand your new situation if you'd like, we can be partners." Zina told him.

"I would appreciate the help… Who are you?" Zilla nodded before realizing he didn't know the name of the human holding him.

"Zina Raliakov." The girl told him as she started walking. "And I think we'll make a great team." She added with a grin.

Meanwhile, at the highest drop off cliff in Wardington, another teenage figure was standing on it while holding onto what looked like a life size recreation of Leonardo Di Vinci's flying machine.

Said figure was a teenage boy. He looked to be around seventeen, had a healthy tan on his skin, short red hair and amber colored eyes. His build was more comparable to a runner's.

His clothes consisted of a maroon red jacket over a black shirt, a pair of blue jeans with a belt and a bakugan holder, and a pair of red sneakers.

"Alright, let's fly this coup." The boy said as he ran towards the cliff at top speed, and then leapt off it, diving into a descent before pulling up, going into an updraft and soaring across the valley below him.

As he flew, he smiled as he took in the view he got from the air. He loved doing this.

However, as he was flying over a familiar looking Japanese styled compound which he saw before on previous flights, a sudden backdraft of opposing wind caused him to lose control of his glider and start falling towards the compound in question.

"Oh CRAAAAAAAP!" He yelled in panic as he was forced to the ground while he struggled to regain control.

Sadly, while he did get control back, he couldn't pull up in time and was only able to manage a rough landing. That ordeal left his glider in pieces and him groaning in pain on the ground.

"I hate it when the wind forces me in random directions…" The boy groaned as he rolled over on his back.

As he managed to sit back up after his involuntary landing, the redhead looked around and noticed that he was inside some sort of Japanese style garden, complete with a bamboo dip fountain and a statue of a botisatfa in the center.

"You okay down there?" A voice questioned, causing the boy to look up and see the silhouette of a person standing on the statue that was obscured by the sunlight, causing the redhead to shield his face from the sun's glare.

"Could be better, but rough landings suck." The redhead admitted.

The figure didn't say anything at first before he leapt off the statue in a flip before landing in front of the boy, revealing himself to be a black haired and yellow eyed teen with Japanese garb.

"Wait, you're Shun Kazami!" The redhead gasped.

"And you are?" The now named Shun inquired.

"Magnus Fowl, Pyrus Brawler and flier." The now named Magnus replied before glancing at his wrecked glider. "At least until the wind screws me over." He added with a sigh as he got up.

"You make this thing yourself?" Shun questioned as he kicked the machine in question as Magus straightened it up.

"It's a modified version of the one that Leonardo Di Vinci created. It was a marvel at the time, but in the modern day it's a… pice de mierda. (Piece of shit)" The boy cursed, tossing the contraption down.

"You really should've settled for a modern design." Shun pointed out with a small sweat drop on his head.

"Probably." Magnus sighed as he walked over to a pond and sat down, Shun doing the same as the ninja pulled out a grass flute.

As Shun played a few tunes, his partner came out of his pocket and looked at the redhead.

"You mentioned that you're a Pyrus Brawler?" The green phoenix Bakugan noted.

"Yeah." The boy nodded, showing the Bakugan holder on his belt, which had a Griffin, Falconeer, and a Ravenoid in said holder. "Why?" He asked.

"You didn't strike me as the type to be a Brawler at first glance." Skyress admitted.

"You'd be surprised at how common that first impression is." Magnus chuckled lightly. "I'll be honest, I've never met a talking Bakugan before." He mused.

"It's often said that if a Bakugan talks, then they're your destined partner." The phoenix Bakugan mused as well. "It often takes time before said partner appears for someone." She added.

"I see." The redhead nodded as Shun stopped playing, looking at his Bakupod, which showed him a Bakugan sub Reddit.

"It's amazing how many people have been speculating on how and when Dan and Runo will get together." The glider mused as he closed the page.

"Some of the other Battle Brawlers are wondering about that, too." Shun mused. "My guess is it'll be after the tournaments." He added. "But knowing how stubborn those two are…" He said with an eye roll, right as Magnus noticed a shining red object that was in the palm of the Bodisadfa's palm that wasn't there before.

"Huh…?" He uttered, getting up and walking up to the statue to get a closer look.

When he was close enough, he saw that it was a red and tan colored Bakugan with brown horns on its head. Markings wise it seemed similar to Skyress, interestingly enough

"And just who are you?" He wondered, picking up the little monster.

The orb then opened up and revealed that it looked like Skyress as well, but instead of a crest, it had two horns on the back of its head and a sharp beak, looking like a Pterosaur rather than a Phoenix.

"Wut da fuck?" The Bakugan questioned, his voice having a thick Brooklyn accent as he started looking around. "Where am I?" He questioned.

"Uh, in a Japanese garden?" Magnus replied awkwardly as Shun walked up to him and spotted the Bakugan in his hand.

"Who's that?" The ninja asked.

"No idea. I just found him on the statue." The redheaded boy shrugged in reply.

"My name's Rodan, thanks for asking." The now properly identified Rodan replied with a huff, causing the two humans to freeze.

"... Shun, isn't that the name of…?" He whispered to the Ventus Brawler, trailing off at the end.

"Yep." The ninja confirmed quietly with a nod.

"Well, Rodan, my name's Magnus." The redhead said as he took the Bakugan with him. "Come with me and I'll show you just what you're dealing with." He continued as he and Shun left together.

Meanwhile, Shiro had finally arrived at his house. It was relatively simple, only being two stories tall. As he opened the door to his house, it was mostly quiet for the most part, so he walked in and made his way down the hall.

"Mom, Akihito! I'm home!" He called, rounding a corner—but was suddenly greeted with his face smothered into two large orbs. "Hey mom." The boy smiled, recognizing the two boobs in his face.

His mother had long grass green hair that fell to her knees while the end of it was dark emerald in color. Her eyes were a deep blue sea color with plump and desiring lips begging to be kissed. She had thick black eyelashes that would batter to make any man aroused instantly.

She wore a blue button up blouse and a blue skirt. She held an incredible hourglass body any woman would desire with wide and sexy hips that would sway without trying to seduce a man. Legs that were thick yet slim and sexy to the core, her ass was a large bubble size and the shape of a heart. Her most noticeable part of her body was her breasts, large, plump and jiggly above buxom size (if such a thing was possible). Her button up shirt was opened slightly, allowing people to see part of her cleavage.

This was Kita Hiroshima, and as you can see, she had a figure that rivaled the sexiness of Tsunade Senju from Naruto.

"Welcome home sweetie." She smiled, hugging him close.

"Did Hiro call from college today?" He questioned, asking about his older brother.

"Yeah, and he said that he'll be able to visit in a couple of months." The woman replied.

"Oh good." The boy nodded. "Where's Akihito?" He asked, looking around for his younger brother.

"Oh, he's upstairs in his room." The MILF told him in reply, getting a nod in return before he went upstairs to talk to his little brother.

"You going somewhere?" He asked from the top of the stairs, having noticed the attire his mother was wearing.

"Yes, I have a date tonight." Kita replied as she painted her voluptuous lips red with lipstick.

"With who?" Her son questioned.

"A single father who wants to get back into dating." The green haired woman replied as she did some final checks. "He also has two twin daughters." She added.

"Oh, well, I hope things turn out fine." Shiro nodded. "Have fun." He finished before heading to his brother's room. "Hey Aki." He said as he entered the room, seeing that his younger brother by seven years was busy examining his Bakugan collection, including a familiarly saurian looking green and white Bakugan orb in the center.

"Huh? Oh, hey Shiro." Akihito responded as he looked over his collection.

The boy looked like a younger version of his older brother, but lacked the red tips in his green hair and had the same color eyes as his mother, with his attire being a white sleeveless hoodie, a blue shirt, blue shorts and a pair of white and blue shoes, with a pair of orange fingerless gloves and goggles on his head to complete the look.

"Whatcha got there?" The older of the two questioned as he looked at the new orb in his sibling's collection.

"Not sure. It just appeared while I was eating lunch downstairs, but it won't open up." Akihito shrugged in reply, nudging the orb with his finger while Shiro set his own discovered orb on the table as well.

Gojira immediately opened up and looked at the orb Akihiro was nudging. There must've been a domino effect, because said orb opened up, too.

"Junior?!" The King gasped, much to the younger human's surprise.

"Dad!" Junior exclaimed as he rushed up to his father, hugging him as best he could in his current state.

Shiro and Akihiro looked at the father-son Kaiju duo and blinked before looking at each other.

"Okay… That happened." The older of the two commented.

"How did Godzilla and Junior get here, though?" The younger sibling wondered.

"No idea, but I strongly doubt they're the only ones." Shiro replied. "We'll need to keep our eyes and ears open for others." He added, getting a nod from his little sibling.

"Yeah…" Akihito nodded as he typed on his computer, pulling up the international rankings. "Especially with him prowling around." He added, pointing at a picture of a blonde boy with a purple visor mask covering his face that seemed to be made of glass.

This was Masquerade, the top ranked brawler in the world and an absolute menace to novice and veteran Brawlers everywhere.

"I hear that." Shiro nodded in agreement. "If Masquerade finds and acquires any of them, it'll be a nightmare for everyone." He added.

"No kidding." Aki nodded as he looked at Junior. "You guys up for helping us find your Kaijugan buddies?" He asked the two.

"Kaijugan?" Shiro parroted, confused.

"Kaiju Bakugan." His brother elaborated.

"We're more than willing to help look around." Godzilla nodded in reply. "It's important that we regroup." He added.

"Especially if the bad Kaiju are around." Junior added.

"Right." The two brothers nodded in agreement.

In an unknown dark room, a light opened in a dome shaped space where screens upon screens flashing around a sort of gaming chair where a figure was sitting and clicking and scrolling on a mouse that was on the left arm rest.

"Hm…" The figure hummed, scrolling along a list of potential brawlers he could bring to his cause when a Darkus Bakugan appeared on his right arm rest.

"These weakling Bakugan brawlers we've been sending haven't been able to do anything to further our plans." It growled. "We need a small group of elites, not legions to fodder." He added.

"Quality over quantity." The blonde mused as it soon became clear that this was Masquerade. "Good thinking, Hydranoid." He nodded, right before a light filled the room, causing him to grunt from the sudden brightness.

Then he felt something land in his lap, so when the brightness ended, Masquerade looked down and saw a golden Bakugan in his lap. It was nowhere near Haos gold, instead looking more like the shade the Spanish Conquistadors craved.

The orb then opened, revealing that it was in a similar shape of a Dragonoid, but it had two heads on the flat of its orb form, and a third head on a long neck with two small horns, and a flap representing two tails.

"Where. Are. We?" A trio of voices in differing pitches of the same tone questioned as it looked around.

"In my home." The blonde replied, getting the creature's attention… And the three voices weren't happy about being smaller than a human, but choked it up for now. "And since this is my home, I demand to know who you are." He demanded.

"Hmph. Very well, I suppose." The first voice of the golden Bakugan conceded with a scoff. "We are King Ghidorah." He added.

"The one who is many." The second voice continued.

"The three headed terror." The third voice nodded.

"And the Golden Destroyer, etc, etc." The first voice finished, much to Masquerade's shock.

'The same King Ghidorah from the Godzilla movies?!' He thought, eyes wide behind his mask before he had an epiphany. 'Wait… This could be what we need for our plans!' He realized, a grin forming on his face.

"What's with the look on your face?" Ghidorah's third voice questioned, spotting the blonde's grin.

"Oh nothing, three headed tyrant." The brawler replied. "I was just thinking that it's fortuitous that we've managed to cross paths." He continued as he looked at his guardian Bakugan. "Isn't that right, Hydranoid?" He questioned.

"Indeed." Hydranoid nodded in agreement.

"... You two have something big planned, don't you?" Ghidorah's second voice noted.

"Correct, and should things go according to plan, this world will be under our rule." Masquerade nodded in reply. "Would you like some details?" He inquired.

"... We are interested." The first voice nodded.

"We're listening." The second voice added, sounding curious.

"But do not expect us to follow orders." The third voice replied.

"Oh, don't worry." The blonde smirked. "When you work with us, you're an equal partner, no strings attached." He added.

"Excellent." The trio of heads smirked in unison.

Dragon Emperor0: Hey everyone. In case you haven't noticed, this is a reboot of our original Kaijugan Battle Brawlers, one that hopefully will prove better than what the original was.

ThermalsniperN7: Sorry to the people who liked the original, but that was written in a different time. Before I came along. Times have changed and now we wanna do this story better. Hopefully we'll deliver it with this reboot.

Dragon Emperor0: I've re-evaluated some stuff IRL and I decided that the original of this story was just not meshing with this new perspective of mine. So I decided to take down and redo this story to fit. Plus I have a feeling this will just be of better quality because of how we've improved as writers, but we likely will also be using things from the original that were still good for purpose. So there will be something for everyone here.

ThermalsniperN7: We're also gonna be including new characters to partner up with the Kaiju because, hey, this is called "Kaijugan Battle Brawlers." The original left the Brawlers themselves looking overshadowed by Shiro and the Kaiju, so we're spreading them out to build emphasis on the plural that should've been present from the start.

Dragon Emperor0: Exactly. Also we've scrapped the original harem and have decided to focus Shiro and Zina as the main pairing. But don't worry, all the girls from the original harem will get their own lovers. It just won't be Shiro. (I've since lost my taste and interest in the stuff that was in the original). Hopefully this will be a fair enough compromise.

ThermalsniperN7: Let us know what you guys think. Anyway, see you next time.
