Twelve Sixteen Franklin Avenue...
The most well-known address in the whole town of Royal Woods, Michigan, mainly due to one specific reason: the Loud family.
This particular family was widely believed to be the largest known family in the entire city's history and with a household filled with ten daughters, one son, their parents, and a large number of pets packed into their residence like a can full of sardines, that particular belief was hard not to be taken seriously.
They were also well-known for being the most notorious family in Royal Woods as well since...well, their family's name of 'Loud' certainly fit them like a glove. They certainly lived up to the name considering how noisy and rambunctious they could be at times, both inside and outside of their home. Not only were they loud, but they were a rather...'colorful' bunch as well, which usually led to trouble every now and then.
Despite all of the mishaps and misadventures that the Louds had gotten themselves into over the years, however, one thing remained constant - they were still a very tight-knit family who wouldn't trade each other for the world.
Still, even the closest of families had their moments where their familial bonds would become strained and the Louds were certainly no exception to this rule..

[Lincoln Loud's room- The Loud House - Royal Woods]
Our story begins in the room of the middle child of the Loud family - one who is also, coincidentally enough, the only son/brother as well.
Letting out a jaw-cracking yawn as he stretches his body, Lincoln mutters"Hah, another boring breakfast without my zombie brand...I know my sisters can be selfish, but they really took the cake this time with their..."before taking notice of the 'viewers' nearby, causing a friendly smile to appear on his face upon seeing them.
Now, Lincoln knew already that there was no invisible viewers that watched him and his family 24/7, but considering the stuff he has to put up with on a daily basis, it helps to have some 'company' to vent his frustrations to, time and time again.
Many members of his family founded weird that he constantly talked to people that he called the 'viewers.' But, considering how they were nowhere near the conventional except the term of 'normal', they allowed Lincoln to do strange ritual of his as they figured it was his way with coping being the only son/brother of the family.
With that thought aside, he was actually quite glad to see the 'viewers' at that moment. Honestly, with everything that's been going on with his family as of late, any kind of friendly face was welcome.
"Oh, hey guys, how have you been? Great, that's good to know. Well, things haven't been going so great in my house lately, especially with me and my sisters. Now, I bet you're wondering 'Lincoln, what did your sisters do now?' Well, let me tell you what happened at the grocery store just yesterday."said Lincoln, before he took in a deep knew the 'viewers'wanted a summarized version of events rather than the whole story as that would take too long, and he knew they didn't have the time for that.
'So, yesterday I was eating my same boring cereal that I always eat when I saw a commercial for this new serial called zombie brand. I know, it's as cool as it sounds. Anyway, deciding that I need a new cereal I begged my mom to buy it. But she pointed out that the family budget couldn't afford any snacks, which I was disappointed with, until I got an idea. It was then and there that I suggested to Mom that I would do the grocery shopping and try to save up enough money to get my zombie brand. Mom was skeptical at first, until I pointed out she could take some 'me' time. So, after fantasizing what I believe to be a relaxing fantasy, she agreed to allow me to go to the grocery store and get groceries for the family."said Lincoln, before a frown appeared on his face as he recalled what happened next.
"So, after preparing all the shopping bags and the list, I was ready to head out and get everything we needed so I can get my zombie brand with the money that was left. Then, Lori and the rest of my sisters said they wanted to go too. At first, I agree as it was a lot of groceries and I figured they would help out since they said that they would help me with the grocery shopping. But in hindsight, I should have known they would not have helped me."said Lincoln, before he began clenching his fists with anger.
"So, we arrive at the grocery store, and it is then and there that my sister's disperse all throughout the store to do their own things, leaving me to do the shopping. I was mad, but more on myself for having fallen for their deception. So, I decided to ignore them and do the shopping, all the while the store manager was keeping an eye on me and calling me a 'hooligan.' He told me very clearly if there was any funny business that me and the rest of them would be kicked out. Now, I decided to listen as I was a man on a mission, but my sister's, they had other ideas."said Lincoln, who began recalling everything his sisters did at the store.
"Lori came to the store as she wanted to see Bobby, her boyfriend, as he was the new stock boy at the grocery store. Now what she did wasn't so bad- it was what the others did that endangered my plans to get zombie brand. First Lynn was writing a shopping cart like a race car, almost getting us kicked out before we injected, resulting in her landing in the marshmallow as well I landed in the pineapples. Then Luan begin juggling eggs in the egg section, all the while making bad egg puns. Then Lisa put herself in the frozen peas for 'cryogenic research.' She said something about the future needing her brain and we almost got caught that time, before hiding in a plastic snowman. If that wasn't bad enough, Leni tried to 'liberate' the lobsters by tying them to balloons and having them float to the ocean? I know, even for Leni, I don't know what she was thinking. Then, as I was questioning what was wrong with them, Luna hijacked the speaker system and begin jamming a song all throughout the store. Now, I will admit I wasn't on my best behavior with the next things that happened."said Lincoln, taking another deep breath before he continued.
"After I managed to get the three ply village pack, I went to the cereal aisle to get zombie brand. Then some jerk took it out of my hands as I was picking it up. We then ran throughout the store as I was trying to get my zombie band back as it was the last box. But if you think the rest of my sisters were behaving then you couldn't have been more wrong. Lana and Lola we're having a water fight, Leni tried to liberate the already grilled chickens, Lucy made a terrifying cake out of the store cakes, etc. I managed to get to get my cereal back from that jerk, resulting in him and his mother getting kicked out of the store. Now, was my behavior the best, no. But in my defense, he started it. So, not wanting to risk getting kicked out, I pused all of my sisters to the checkout. Then, when they questioned me about my cereal, I told them about the deal I made with Mom. That's when they started all saying that they wanted to treat, with Lola wanting little princess pies, Lucy wanting blood pudding, Lisa wanted something with sodium bicarbonate, and Lana wanted dog biscuits. When I pointed out there was no more money for any more snacks, Luna took my cereal out of my hand and tried to return it back to the serial aisle. What happened next was the signature loud family 'fight cloud', which resulted us getting kicked out of the store after I was knocked into the display Bobby had just set up of Lori. I literally got push-broomed out of the store. Mom of course have to pick us up after that and I tried to explain what happened but she didn't want to hear it. I understand where she was coming from as we interrupted her 'me day', but she could have at least given me the chance to explain myself and let her know it wasn't entirely my fault."said Lincoln, before an angry scowl appeared on his face.
"My sister still have an apologized. Now, normally they would make it up to me, but they're blaming me for not allowing them to do the things they wanted to do at the store. Are they seriously blaming me for everything that happened?! All I was trying to do with shop and they are the ones who were out of control. Lori was the only one acting like a decent human being as she just wanted to see Bobby, but she's just as guilty as the rest of them as we can't even shop at that store for a while! All I wanted was zombie brand, where did it all go wrong?!"Lincoln asked himself, before a growl could be heard coming from his stomach.
"Well, looks like it's another day of boring cereal."said Lincoln, before he got out of his bed and changed out of his pajamas into his usual outfit which consisted of an orange Polo shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
"I just hope my sisters don't do anything more to upset me as one more thing, I say it right now, one more thing and I'm going to lose it."said Lincoln, who meant what he said as if his sister's pushed him one more time he wasn't responsible for what he was going to do next.

[Rita and Lynn Sr's Bedroom - The Loud House - Royal Woods]
Meanwhile, in the room of the loud parents, Rita and Lynn Sr were getting ready to go to work as it was Friday, meaning that it was payday. Rita was preparing all the tools she would need to assist Dr Feinstein with his latest appointments at his dental office. Lynn Sr was getting ready to work for Sergei at the Alola Comrade, learning how to run a restaurant as he plans to one day open his own restaurant that will be called Lynn's Table.
( I know Lynn Sr didn't quit his job at the IT department until later episodes. But I'm not being consistent with Canon right now)
"I still can't believe Lincoln got us kicked out of the local grocery store for the next couple of months. I talk to the store manager and he agreed to let us back in, but only if me and you do the shopping from now on."said Rita, who hated that her pedicure was interrupted by the shenanigans of her son.
"I don't know Rita. It sounds to me that Lincoln just wanted to get his cereal. From what I saw in the security footage, it was the girls that were acting up the most. I mean, what was Leni thinking when she was trying to liberate the lobsters?"said Lynn Sr, who believed that his son wasn't all to blame for the actions at the grocery store.
"I know he is not to blame for everything, Lynn. But he should have called one of us when his sisters were out of control."said Rita, feeling like Lincoln should have called one of them as soon as he noticed that the Loud sisters were out of control.
"Rita, how was he supposed to know his sisters were going to act like that? I mean, other than Lori the girls just did a bunch of things that were just not acceptable. Lynn Jr was riding a shopping cart like it was a race car, Luan was juggling eggs we didn't pay for, Leni tried to liberate the lobsters, Lisa tried to freeze herself, Luna hijacked the announcement system, Lola and Lana we're having a squirt gun fight, Lucy was messing with the cakes to form a scary creation, and Leni for some reason try to liberate fried Chicken."said Lynn Sr, who felt like his son wasn't entirely to blame for events that transpired at the grocery store.
"But he chased that other boy around the store and made a mess."said Rita, causing her husband to shake his head.
"It was that other boy who made the mess. He's the one who knocked over the watermelon display, covered the floor with coffee beans, and put butter on the floor. Sure, Lincoln use some peas to get his cereal back and that bad, but at least he owned up to his mistake. The girls are still blaming Lincoln for what happened, and that's honestly not fair."said Lynn Sr, defending his son by pointing out that it was the other boy who made the mess.
"Hmm... I suppose you do have a point Lynn. Lincoln has his fair share of blame for what happened but at least he admitted to what he did. And compared to what the girls did, what he did was minor."said Rita, who had to admit that her husband did have a point.
"He already offered to give up his allowance for the peas he used, so just try to go easy on him as he's already feeling down for not getting his cereal."said Lynn Sr, who knows that Lincoln is still quite upset as he was really looking forward to that zombie brand or whatever.
"I suppose you do have a point. I'm just worried as although everyone is grounded, I suppose I can go easy on Lincoln's punishment considering he didn't do anything as bad as what the girls did at the store. The girls will remain grounded for the rest of the month, while Lincoln will only be grounded for a few days."said Rita, feeling like that was fair as Lincoln didn't do anything as bad as what the girls did at the store.
Sure he used some peas that were not paid for, but that was pretty much it. He didn't mess up a bunch of displays, contaminate food, and hijacked the announcement system. And unlike the others he actually admitted that he was partially at fault for what happened and was willing to own up to his mistake.
"I think that is fair. Now let's just hope the girls will take the news with grace."said Lynn Sr, who wasn't sure how to tell his daughters that they were still grounded for a month while Lincoln was only going to be grounded for a few days.
"Lori and the others will just have to accept it. Lori may have not caused trouble to the storm, but she still fought with her sisters over the last four dollars. Lynn, she's almost going to college and she got into a fight over four measly dollars. We have to teach her that real world has real consequences, otherwise what she's going to do when she goes off to college?"said Rita, who believed that her daughters still deserve their punishment as they did fight in the store, and do the other stuff that her husband mentioned.
"Let's just try to have a nice breakfast and hopefully things will work out."said Lynn Sr, hoping that everyone will calm down at breakfast.
"Okay, let's tell the kids they're allowed out of their rooms."said Rita, before she walked out of her bedroom and made her way to the bottom of the staircase.
"Kids, come down. It's time for breakfast. And I don't need to remind you allt that I don't want any shenanigans."said Rita, before she heard the sounds of footsteps and doors opening.
"Coming mom."said Lori, before she and the other loud sisters minus Lily glared at Lincoln as he came out of his room.
"What?"asked Lincoln, wondering why they were glaring at him.
"We wouldn't all be grounded if you had just given up that stupid cereal and let us get what we wanted."said Lola, before she and the others made their way down the stairs.
"Grrrrrr!"growled Lincoln as he couldn't believe they were still blaming him, even though he's the one who tried his best to behave at the store.
"Incoln okay?"questions Lily, as she went over to see if her brother was okay.
"I'm fine Lily. You are the only sister I'm not mad at right now."said Lincoln, who wasn't mad at lily as she wasn't at the store, and even if she was she was a baby, what could she have done?
"Mad?"questions Lily.
"I'm just a little upset that I didn't get my cereal, Lily, that's all. Now I just have to take my punishment with trace and hope that when it's lifted, I can try to get my cereal again."said Lincoln, before he picked up Lillian went down the stairs as letting a baby go down by themselves was probably dangerous.
Considering the fact that Lily wasn't a normal child, as she was a Loud, Lincoln wasn't entirely sure he should still be treating her like she's a normal little baby. But Lily is still his baby sister so he has to do his best to protect her. So without hesitation, Lincoln made his way down the stairs, made his way to the dining room, put Lily in her baby seat, and then finally made his way to his seat where he could eat some cereal.
"Girls, Lincoln. Before your father and I go to work we have an announcement to make."said Rita, getting the attention of her children as they stopped eating their cereal and focused on their mother.
"After a long talk I have decided to lesson Lincoln's punishment to only a few days. The rest of you will still be grounded for a month."said Rita, causing the loud sisters minus Lily to begin groaning and complaining.
"Why is his punishment lessened?"question Lana, wanting to know why her parents were going easy on Lincoln.
"Girls, we saw the security footage and unlike the rest of you Lincoln was trying his best to behave. Sure chasing a boy through the store for cereal was silly, but at least he admitted that he was wrong. I know for a fact all of you are blaming Lincoln for what happened and are still not owning up to your mistakes. Lincoln did, and that's why his punishment for what happened is being lessened."said Lynn Sr, but his daughters continue to complain as they felt it wasn't fair.
"End of discussion! You girls misbehaved, so the least you can do is accept your punishment like Lincoln did. Now I have to report to Dr Feinstein's for an early root canal surgery. So try to be on your best behavior and don't do anything else or your grounded for two months instead of one."said Rita, causing her daughters to groan as they felt like it wasn't fair.
"Lincoln, now don't go getting a big head just because you're only grounded for a few days. Your on a probation period so I don't want any kind of shenanigans from you either."said Lynn Sr while looking his son in the eye.
"I understand, dad. I will try my best to be on my best behavior and I'll just stay in my room. That way I don't cause any more trouble."said Lincoln, who decided that in there to be on his best behavior, as that was the only way he was ever going to get some kind of guarantee of getting his zombie brand.
"As long as you understand. Now I have to report to the Alola Comrade, so I'll see you later honey."said Lynn Sr, before giving his wife a kiss on the cheek, and then heading out the door.
"Wait for me."said Rita, who decided to follow her husband as they only had one vehicle, and her friend was in carpooling today.
Lincoln on the other hand quickly finished his cereal and quickly made his way to his room as fast as he could. He use the opportunity of his sisters being distracted to quickly lock himself in his room, as he figured they were angry over the fact that they were still grounded for a month, while he was only grounded for a few days.
"I better do my best to keep a low profile. Knowing my sisters, they're even more angry at me after what Mom and Dad just pulled. I'm sure right now they're cursing my name and saying that it's all my fault. So I'm just going to stay in my room and do my best to stay out of trouble, as that is the only way I'm ever going to see my zombie brand cereal."said Lincoln, who knew he needed to behave if he ever wanted to see that zombie brain marshmallow goodness.
Meanwhile, back in the living room, the Loud sisters we're indeed cursing Lincoln's name, as to say they were angry would be the understatement of the century.
"I literally can't believe that Lincoln's grounding got lessened. He is as much to blame for what happened at the grocery store as the rest of us!"said Lori."After all, he's the one who ruined boo boo's display of me!"
"And he's the one who prevented me from getting my princess pies! So why is his punishment less than ours!"said Lola, who is clearly still bitter about not getting her pie.
"And I want a dog biscuits! For Charles.. but still, it's not fair!"said Lana, who was in agreement with her twin sister over it not being fair.
"We should totally get revenge on Lincoln for ruining our fun and resulting us getting grounded!"suggested Lynn, with many of the more hot tempered sisters voicing their voices in agreement.
"But won't we get any more trouble if we do anything to Lincoln?"said Leni, trying to be the voice of reason.
"Leni, it's because of him you couldn't liberate the lobsters."said Luan, pointing out that Lincoln ruined Leni's plans yesterday.
"Well... you do have a point."said Leni, who was being pulled into mob mentality.
"I say we make him pay! No one gets between me and my princess pies! Nobody!"said Lola, feeling like her sweet treat was denied to her because of Lincoln.
"So how do we punish Lincoln for messing with us?"asked Luna, who is just as upset as the others.
"Let's start brainstorming and figure out a solution that we can all agree with."said Lori, deciding to call a sister only meeting for operation revenge on Lincoln!
But with the loud sisters did not know is that Lincoln had heard everything as he had come out of his room to use the bathroom and had heard them shouting. The white haired middle child was sweating bullets as he realized that his sisters were too worked up right now and it was clear that consequences didn't mean anything to them right now as they were too upset!
'What am I going to do? I can possibly stay here knowing that it's nine against one! They will totally pulverize me if I don't do something!...Think Lincoln, think!...I know, I can go somewhere else until Mom and Dad get home, then I will be safe.' thought Lincoln, figuring that being away from my sister's for a while would allow him to be safe/ get them to calm down and listen to reason.
But where exactly can he go to hide out?
'Should I go to Clyde's house? No... that's the first place they'll look! Besides, knowing Clyde's crush on Lori he'll try to make the situation fit his advantage and that could result in an even worse disaster. Should I go to Zach's house...no, his mom does make good cookies but I don't want his parents to think I'm an alien again as it took a lot of explaining that my white hair was natural the first time...Hmmm, I need to go somewhere well they wouldn't look, and even if they did look they wouldn't do anything. I could go with Aunt Ruth...no, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy...Wait a minute... I can go with Gramps! Dad said he's in town this weekend. Knowing Gramps, he's at Flips getting a Flippy! Their is no way my sisters will do anything with my grandfather from my father's side being by my side! Now all I have to do is call him up and figure out where he is. I'm sure he's at Flips but I just have to be sure.' thought Lincoln, before he quickly snuck back to his room.
Then Lincoln picked up his duck phone and began dialing, hoping that his grandfather from his father's side was at the location he thought he was at.
-=O=-
[Flip's Food and Fuel- Royal Woods]
At the same time, Leonard Loud, Lynn Sr's father and the grandfather of the Loud children was enjoying the ice cold flippy at the famous Flip's Food and Fuel, owned by famous con man Phillip Philipini, or better known as Flip.
Leonard was just enjoying his flippy as he was looking at an old photo. In the photo there was a younger version of himself next to a younger gentleman wearing a lab coat. They both seem to be in front of a large building with a windmill on the side.
'I wonder how Samuel was doing after all of this time. Maybe I should call him up and see how he has been.' thought Leonard, before he finished his Flippy.
"Ahhh! I never get tired of raspberry blast."said letter to himself before he heard a call from his cell phone.
"Hah, I'm getting a call from Lincoln."said Leonard to himself before he answered his phone."Lincoln, how have you been?"
"I have been great, Gramps. Say, where are you right now?"questions Lincoln on the phone, decided to get straight to the point, as the longer he stayed in the house, the more in danger he would be.
"I'm that Flips enjoying a raspberry Flippy, why?"inquired the grandfather.
"I'm heading over there right now as I kind of need your help."said Lincoln, causing his grandfather smile to disappear.
"What's wrong?"inquired Leonard, this time with his serious voice.
"I just need to get away from the house for a while, that's all."answered Lincoln, who felt like you needed to be discreet until he can get to his grandfather in person.
"Well I'll be at Flips. So get here as fast as you can and then you tell me what is going on."said Leonard, as his instincts as a fisherman was telling him that Lincoln was hiding something.
"I will, but only when I see you in person."said Lincoln, before he hung up the phone and began making his plans to escape from the house.
Leonard on the other hand had a concern look as he wondered what was going on with his grandson. It was clearing his voice that he was scared, but why would Lincoln be scared?
"Ha... it's times like this I wish Samuel was right next to me to give me advice. Hmm.. maybe it's about time I tell my grandchildren about my other occupation besides being a fisherman."said Leonard, before he reached into his pocket and pulled something out of it.
Leonard then formed a nostalgic smile before turning his attention over to the well-worn, metallic-looking ball that he had just taken out of his pocket. It with a simple ball, with a black line separating the two halves of the ball. The top half was a slightly-faded red, while the bottom half was a dull white that was starting to yellow with age. In the center of the ball was a white-colored button.
"Maybe I should introduce Lincoln to you, old friend."said Leonard with a nostalgic smile.
What neither Lincoln, his family, or his grandfather realizes that day is that the young man in question will be set off on a journey of a lifetime as he heads off to a new land to attend a new school to learn about creatures he never knew that existed until now!
[After failing to get his zombie brand, Lincoln is quite upset with his sisters, who have not apologized. Now his sister's plan revenge against him after they found out that their punishment for a month stands while his is lessened. Will Lincoln be able to get out of the house in one piece to meet up with his grandfather, Leonard Loud? And what is the strange red and white ball that his grandfather is holding? Only time will tell if the journey officially begins as the white haired young man will soon be sent off on the Journey of a lifetime]
