When we left the last chapter there were bombs going off. Christian and Ana are trapped inside the plastic plant. There was no moaning or screaming. Time to find out what happened to them and Sawyer. What or who did Dav and the guys see?
"Oh my god in heaven look there Mr. Dav."
"Oh dear lord no please no."
The place is going to blow and that is where they are at
"Where the hell are the funckin fire trucks? We need them here now. Not only is the glass plant on fire but the plastic one is catching because of the wind picking up. We don't need it to blow. If it does, it will wipe out all the buildings with all the chemicals in there. Not to mention what all is in the glass plant."
"Dav here comes Sawyer, he looks bad. He is bleeding and dragging his right leg and looks like he is holding his right arm."
"He looks like a zombie. I am sorry but look at him his clothes are torn, he is bleeding from his head, dragging his leg and his arm is hanging. If I didn't know that was Sawyer I would be running."
"Sawyer, sit down before you fall, man. What can you tell us? The ambulances are on the way with the fire department."
"They damn well better hurry, that place is going to go up in flames if they don't get here. We saw all the chemicals in the plastic plant when Ana gave us a tour while ago. If it blows I don't want to think what will happen to Ana and Christian and all the people that are still in there."
"All I know is that Christian had Ana on his shoulders as they were going down the stairs to reach the door. The bomb went off and from what I could see through the smoke Ana and Christian both went flying through the air.
"I heard Ana scream for Christian and tell him her leg was wedged in between something. He told her to keep talking and he would find her. The power was out, no lights. I think I heard him say that he was hit in the back but he was ok. Didn't sound ok to me though.
Anyway as I was trying to get back to them the roof caved in on them. Some of the roof hit my head and my leg but I still turned around to go and help them but I couldn't get through all the wood and metal. I didn't hear either of them it was just to fucking quiet down there.
"We have to find them and get them help.I know they are both hurt. How many people are accounted for out here? I see people walking around."
"They are taking a head count now. But more are wandering out. It's hard to keep up with all of them."
"Have two of the guys go over and have them form two lines and get all the people in line so we can get a head count. She has two thousand employees in all three buildings right?"
'Yes she does and that includes the managers."
"Anderson, I need you and Tim to have all the employees make two lines so we can get a head count on how many we still have inside the buildings. Make sure they are alright and stay still. So much confusion right now we can't get a good head count. Thank you guys."
"Dav where are the blueprints to the buildings? We need them so we can see where they might be."
"I believe Ray would know. I am pretty sure she has them in her office here and copies at her home in Seattle."
"I think we need to talk to Taylor and let him relay the information to the family. But we need the blueprints too."
"Dav they have the fire out at the plastic plant and they are trying to put the fire out at the glass plant."
"Hellfire they should have had fire trucks around there putting the fire out in both at the same damn time. Yes The plastic one needed to be put out fast. I am glad they have the glass one almost out but can you imagine if the fire reached the chemicals I don't want to think of the consequences."
"Chester, Clyde are you guys alright? Y'all didn't get hurt did you? I am sorry I didn't ask before."
"No Mr. Dav we are good. We are just worried about Ms. Ana and Mr. Christian."
"Sawyer, tell me where was the last place you saw them? Were they on the bottom first floor level and what were they close to? The reason I am asking is because there is a storm shelter or better yet a hurricane shelter that she demanded be built for safety. It is on the first floor and maybe they are close to it."
"Yes we were all on the first floor. We had just come down the last set of stairs and we all started for the door but that's when another bomb went off and they were thrown in the air."
"Ok, ok we need to get a hold of Richard Gibbs, Ana's pilot and have him have the jet ready to bring Ray, Taylor and grandpa down here."
"Yes we do. I will call him and you call Taylor and make sure he asks Ray where the blueprints are. Bring Elliot down too."
"I'll be right back."
Sawyer sees where he is going and stops him
"Dav don't they are not worth it. We need you here not in jail. That's where they are going and I believe there might be more going to join them. Two men couldn't get away setting all those bombs without help."
The officer walks over to them
"Gentlemen, I am Chief Tanner of Charleston Police and I need to ask some questions."
"Chief Tanner, nice to meet you. I am Bradley Davidson. I am Ms. Anastasia Steele's CPO and she is inside the plastic plant, the one you see to your right. Her boyfriend Christian Grey is there with her. They are both hurt and last we heard Ms. Steele's leg is wedged between something. What we don't know."
Chief Tanner's eyes lit up when Dav said that Ana and Christian were both in there
"Chief Tanner, nice to meet you. I am Luke Sawyer and I am Christian Grey's CPO. I would appreciate it if word doesn't get out that Mr. Grey is in there or either of them. We will have every network from here to Seattle down here. I hope you understand what I am saying?"
"My lord son you need to see a doctor with that cut on your head and there is a lot of blood coming from your leg. Did you break your arm young man? We need to get you taken care of."
"I will have them look at me but unless I am dying I will stay here until my boss arrives with more security sir.
"Absolutely Mr. Sawyer I do. I will do my best to keep it out of the media but I can't control what has already been said if anything yet."
"Thank you sir. Now Davidson is calling their family to find out where the blueprints are to all the buildings and we have the jet on standby to move at a moment's notice when the men get there."
"Not a problem Mr. Sawyer, just inform the officers on duty and they will let them pass."
The fire chief walks up to them all and he has soot and ashes all over him and smells like smoke
"Gentlemen, we have the fires out. It was a close call, very close call on the plastic plant. Those chemicals were ready to explode. Thank God we got there when we did."
"Thank you sir. I am Luke Sawyer CPO for Mr. Grey and he and his girlfriend Anastasia Steele as you are aware she is owner of this plant. They are both inside the plastic plant and they are hurt. We are so glad that you all were able to put the fires out. If the plastic plant had blown up I hate to think what could have happened to not only Christian and Ana but everyone else. With all those chemicals they could have blown us all to smithereens."
"Oh my lord, that was an extremely close call for them."
"Did any of your men hear anything after you got the fire out? I am not sure how many more are in there."
(Meanwhile Dav is on the phone with Ana's pilot Richard then Taylor)
"Hello this is Richard Gibbs, Dav what do you need buddy?"
"Richard I need you to get the jet ready for a flight to Charleston and your passengers will be Taylor, Elliot, Ray and grandpa or Theo. Please get the ok to fly as soon as possible."
"Ok but what is going on you sound bad?"
"There was a bomb explosion, well three or four explosions . Too many to count here at the plant and Ana and Christian are inside hurt. Don't know how many more. I am calling Taylor next and telling him what is going on. I have to find Ana's blueprints for the plants. Hey check her office on the jet, she may have a copy there?"
"Alright, I will do it and I will get clearance to fly asap. I will let you know soon."
"Hello Taylor speaking."
"Taylor, are you with the family? I need to talk to you privately."
"Yes but hold on a minute I will walk outside."
"Alright what's going on? You sound very distressed."
"I am just going to go feet in first here. Ana and Christian are in the plastic plant the roof caved in when the last bomb went off. From what Sawyer could hear from them was her leg was wedged between something and something fell on Christian's back."
"Sawyer said Christian told Ana to keep talking and he would find her. He doesn't know if he did or not cause that's when the roof gave way to the bomb explosion. We don't know how many are in the glass plant or anywhere else. We are getting a head count.
"Sawyer is hurt but he refuses to leave until you and more security arrive here. He has a bad cut on his head, his leg was bleeding, the EMT's patched him up and he has a broken right arm. They put it in a sling for now.
I need you to get Ray, Grandpa, Elliot and whoever else you need to get here asap. Richard is getting the jet ready for y'all and I will have some guys meet y'all at the airport to bring you here. The chief said they will let you all through. Ask Ray if he knows where the blueprints are to the plants. I am hoping and praying that they are on the jet in her office.
An employee that Ana fired two weeks ago talked his cousin into helping him set a lot of bombs at the plants. The cousin was a security guard for the guard house. They are hired by an outside security company. I'll explain more later on that. The plastic plant almost blew up but the fire department got the fire put out just in time. The glass plant was on fire too and they got it put out too."
"Hello Taylor are you there?"
"Yes Dav I am here. I am stunned someone could do this to Ana. My god I pray they are alright. I will get with Elliot and we will get them all ready to go. I will have plenty of guys with us. And I will make sure there are plenty here with the ladies. We have Paula and she will look after them too. I hope she can keep it together since Ana is her best friend."
"Good, good I will call you as soon as Richard confirms the flight plan. Hang in there Taylor. I know they are your family just like ours."
"Yes they are, thank you."
"Sawyer, I just talked to Richard and Taylor. Richard is going to let me know when they can fly and we will get word to Taylor. He is getting the guys together and more security and telling everyone."
"Good that's good. But damn we need to get them out of there. The air can't be good and I doubt they have food and water in that part of the building. Do you remember anything edible or water perhaps down there?"
"I know there is a fridge down there but I don't know if they are close to it. If Christian can get to Ana and get her out of whatever is holding her leg down and she can remember where the storm shelter is and they can get to it they will be alright. There is enough water and juice down there not to mention baby food and snacks to last for months. And they will have fresh air too.
"I pray he can get to her and they can make it to the storm shelter."
"They have been in there already for over two hours."
"Did the chief say why the bastard did this?"
"Nothing confirmed as of an hour ago. But his cousin is bitching like a bitch and cursing him like a sailor Sawyer."
"Damn what is wrong with people today? This world has gone crazy."
"Yes, yes my friend it has."
"I hope Taylor is doing alright at home. I would hate to be in his shoes right now."
"Yes you and me both."
{Back at the house}
"Elliot, I need to speak to you for a moment."
"What's going on Taylor? You are white as a sheet."
"There is no way to say this but say it. There were some bomb explosions at the plant by an ex-employee and Ana and Christian are trapped inside the plastic plant both are hurt. We don't know how bad all Luke knows is that Ana's leg is stuck and something I am guessing was a piece of the roof hit him in the back."
"Oh my god Taylor we have to get down there now. How are Luke and Dav? Did they get hurt?"
"Dav was on a call at the main plant with Welsh and Barney trying to find where the ex-employee was at. Luke was with them as security. Luke tried to go back for them but the roof fell and he has a broken arm, a messed up leg and a bad cut on his head. He refuses to leave before we get there."
"Oh no, how about the brothers are they ok?"
"I am sure they are shaken up but Dav didn't say anything was wrong with them."
"I am sure they are. Hell I am and we are not even there yet."
"Now we have to get Ray and Theo out here to talk to them before we talk to the ladies. Then we have to get some guys together to go down with us and some to stay here with the ladies.
"I'll start calling them while you get the men."
"Leave that to me. I will get them out here."
Elliot walks off and back in the house. As casual as he can being six foot five he walks over to grandpa and motions him outside. Then he walks over to Ray and does the same.
"Alright El you have us out here what is going on? Are we planning a party or something?"
"No grandpa I wish we were but not today. Taylor will tell you what is going on."
Taylor holds his hand up for them to wait a minute
"Alright guys get the cars ready and your stuff that you will need we don't know how long we will be. Make sure there are plenty of you to be here with the ladies. I am waiting for confirmation of the flight as we speak."
"Theo, Ray please sit down for a few minutes. I need to tell you both something."
"No, I think I would rather stand."
"Grandpa, Ray, please sit down for us."
They finally take a seat and look at Taylor and Elliot
"Alright guys we are sitting. Tell us what is so important? I am pretty sure this has to do with Annie and Christian so out with."
"I'm going to make it short because we need to fly to Charleston as soon as Richard gets the flight plan and the ok to take off."
"There was a bombing at the plants and Ana and Christian were caught inside and they were hurt. We don't know how bad but we need to get there. Ray, do you know where the blueprints are to the plant?"
"She always keeps copies of all her plants' blueprints in her office on the jet we were on. Have Richard look for them?"
"That is what he is going to do as soon as he gets flight clearance."
"Theo are you alright? You are mighty quiet?"
"No not really but I am holding on. I will be ready when you all are. So we can head out. We have to keep our heads about this. We can break down not now they need us right Ray? Ray, are you with us? What are we going to tell the ladies?"
"Yes Theo I am. I am just worried as everyone else is."
Theo and Ray both have tears in their eyes
"Oh my God tell me it is not so? Tell me my family are all ok?"
"Gran we don't know yet. We have to fly down there and you ladies are staying here with security while we check things out then we will have Richard come back and bring you all down."
"Stop, stop right there young man. We are all going, not just you men. Forget it, let's go. We will buy what we need there. As my sweet girl says, times are a wastin. Let's move it."
Gran and all the ladies are crying now and Theo and the guys hug them all
"Hello Taylor speaking."
"Taylor, it's Richard, the jet is ready as soon as y'all get here. I am going to guess with all the crying the ladies know?"
"Yeah they do and they are coming with us."
"I figured as much. Do you want a flight attendant?"
"No, that won't be necessary, thank you."
"Alright see y'all when you arrive at the jet."
:Alright everyone load up we are taking the three large suvs and they will have some of the guys meeting us at the airport. Let's move."
"Hello Richard, I forgot did you check Ana's office for the blueprints for the plant?"
"Yes sir we have all of them."
"On our way young man."
"They all climb in the suvs and take off to the airport. The ride was pretty fast. Ana's condos aren't that far away from the airport
Richard is waiting on them as the get out of the cars
"Come on y'all welcome aboard. Wish it was under better circumstances."
"Yes sweetie we do too. By the way we have no luggage so we will buy what we need. Save time."
"Yes ma'am it sure will."
"Thank you for finding the blueprints for us."
"Don't mention it. Let's get in the air. Then you can go to Ana's office and get the blueprints you need. They are all there for all the plants she has."
With that said Richard walks to front of the plane and ducks into the cockpit
"Ok everyone buckle up and pray all is good when we land."
"Amen." they all say
The flight was only about a hour and everyone was patiently waiting for the doors to open
"Alright y'all I don't know how many news crews are there already. I do know they are already on the tv."
"Yes I figured that. They are both famous people and I am sure everyone knows that they are both in the plant."
"Yes ma'am they most likely do since the employees saw them today."
"We will worry about that later. Let's go to the cars."
They all get in the cars and they have a convoy on the way to Ana and Christian
"Ray you have the blueprints right? I'm sorry I'm just nervous."
"Hey Elliot it's alright we all are son."
"Adele, you and the ladies are staying in the car. Do not argue with me on this, We have to find out what is going on and we will let you all know as soon as we do I promise."
"Theo we will wait on word from one of you. Please be careful."
"Yes love we will."
"Don't talk to anyone ladies. Nick make sure no one bothers them."
"Yes sir Aaron and I will be right here. We are not leaving them."
"Taylor let me come with y'all? I might be able to help."
"Let us check everything out first Paula."
"Alright but someone better come and tell us something or call Nick?"
"Yes ma'am will do."
With that said they get of the car and catch up with Ray and Elliot
"Come on y'all we gotta hurry."
"Dav, Sawyer."
They both look up
'What are they doing? Has anyone found a way into them?"
"The rescue teams are over there but they haven't been able to get through. They are moving pieces of wood and metal and parts of the equipment from the other floors that have fallen through the ceiling and the roof."
"Have they heard them or anything? Have you all got a head count of how many are out here?"
"Taylor, they haven't heard them or anyone and it is going on five hours now."
"Ok, ok clear the way. Here are the blueprints. Let's look at them?"
Ray spreads them out on the table they have set up and look at the prints
"Sawyer was the last one to see them. Maybe he can pinpoint where they are or at least close to where they might be."
"Alright after that he is going to the hospital if I have to get Adele to drag him."
"Sawyer, my boy, come here for a moment please. Young man you don't look so good. You should have gone to the hospital."
"Yes sir, I know but I could not leave them and I couldn't get them out."
"Alright just look at these and tell me where you last saw them? Chester and Clyde were they with y'all when it happened?"
"Yes sir they were."
"Alright we were all at the exit sign on the third floor for the stairs in the back of the plastic plant. We were just coming down the second flight of stairs when the second bomb went off and it shook us pretty bad. Ana fell and hurt her foot. Christian picked her up over his shoulder and was carrying her down the last flight of stairs when the third bomb went off and as I and the guys looked back for them they both went flying in the air. The lights went out and we couldn't see them."
"Ok take a breath, relax. So this is the way y'all came out at this exit door here?"
"Yes sir, that door. I turned around to go back in but I was hit with a falling ceiling and whatever else was coming down.
I heard Ana screaming for Christian and he told her to keep talking he would find her. She told him she couldn't move her leg was wedged. He was hit by something falling and hurt his back. The last thing I heard was more ceiling falling and they were together when it fell. He made it to her. Then we didn't hear anything else. I couldn't get to them for all the stuff in the way"
"Alright Luke we got it pinpointed now. You get to the hospital and get yourself taken care of."
"Ray, Taylor let me stay please?"
"Sorry Luke but you need stitches in your forehead and you probably need a cast for your arm. Oh yes and your leg needs checking out there is a lot of blood there."
"EMTs check me over but yeah you all are right I need to go. Please keep me posted. I will be coming back with the guys. Don't think I won't?"
"Yes Luke, we know you will. Now go and have yourself taken care of and that is an order. By the way, the ladies are in the car. They wouldn't take no for an answer."
Sawyer just laughed and walked off well hobbled off with the help of security
"Dav can you have some of the rescue team come over here and look at the blueprints? I know basically where they are and if I am right they are not far from the storm shelter Annie had built on the first floor. If they can move I pray that is where they made it too."
Three guys in bright yellow suits with hard hats on come jogging over to the table
"Guys this Ray Steele, the owner's father and this is Theo Treveylan, Mr. Grey's grandfather. This is his brother Elliot Grey he is in construction and he and his men built the Atlanta plants for Ms. Steele. He might be able to help you all. This is Wayne Owens; he is one of Mr. Grey's security team. This man here is Jason Taylor. He is Mr. Grey's CPO and head of security."
"Gentlemen, my name is Travis York, this is Barry Anderson and Nate Baker. We are pleased to meet y'all."
"Mr. York I take it you are the leader of this team? How many men do you have and do you need any extra help? We have plenty of guys and I am sure some of the men standing around waiting will be more than willing to help?"
"Well we will not refuse any help. There are quite a few of them helping now. There are two brothers Chester and Clyde back there too."
"Yes we know them. Annie just hired them to work here."
"Well damn don't that beat all. I am glad they are helping cause they are busting ass trying to move all that rubble. It is a mess back there."
"I'm sure it is. Now did you know there is a storm shelter in each plant? I am not sure if anyone told you that."
"Yes Mr. Steele they did. I don't remember who told us but one of the ladies that was being helped out said there were three shelters.I think she was the only one that was thinking straight because no one else mentioned it.
The plastic plant got the most damage and that is where Ms. Steele and Mr. Grey are. They almost got down the last set of stairs when the bomb went off. There was damage to the glass plant but we haven't accessed it as of yet.
The plastic plant caught fire but they got it put out but not before the damage was done to the roof . As you can see the roof is caving in and the two top floors have already fallen down.
The firefighters were putting out the fire on the first floor where the chemicals were and in the nick of time because the chemicals were about to explode. The fire marshall knew where the chemicals were and got that taken care of."
"Thank God for miracles cause that would have blown everything up. Now here we are and here is where Luke and the brothers saw Annie and Christian last."
They look at the blueprints and look at the building
"Ok so if we could somehow get this section opened we might be able to find them."
"Yes but that is a dangerous move with the ceiling falling like it is. It might give completely away and the debris from all the floors would come down on them."
"Yes I see what you are saying. Well then we will just have to dig them out. Come on y'all let's hop to it."
"Ray, are you sure want to do this? I mean I know you want to help them but why don't you and Theo stay here and see if you can find any other way into them. Maybe have some of the men here look into the main plant and see if there are people in the storm shelter and around the area that might need help."
"Alright Jason I know what you are saying and yes we will do that with the help of others. But the minute you hear or see them you damn well better call us."
"Yes Ray we will."
"Alright come on Theo. Taylor call Nick and let him know we haven't found them yet so the ladies won't worry and get out of the car."
"Yes Ray I will and I need to find some guys to get rid of the news crews."
Ray laughs and walks toward the news crews
"Ladies and gentlemen this is private property and I am the father of the owner Anastaisa Steele. I would very much appreciate it if you would load up and get off of our property. This is restricted land and you all know it. You are trespassing."
"Now wait one minute there Ray Steele. We are allowed to be here. You can not make us leave."
"That sign right there says private property and you are in the wrong. So get off my land. There are thousands and thousands of chemicals here and if they explode we all go up in smoke. That is why that sign is there. Now I am being nice about this but I am at wits end. My daughter is in there and we have no idea how she is. Now get the hell off of my land before I get my gun."
"Well hell. Let's go y'all we can monitor from across the street."
"Think so, look again."
With that said Ray walks off
The news crews have to leave but they will be close by…nosy bastards…
"Theo, did you find some guys to help us?"
"Sure did. They are right over there."
"Alright let's go tell them what we are going to do and show them blueprints."
"Guys I am Ray Steele. Some of you know me but I am sorry I don't recall your names. Names don't matter right this minute, we will get to that later. Right now look at the prints? This is the front entrance of the main plant. When you walk in the door after you pass the bathrooms there is a hall to the right. Go down that hall and you will see the door for the storm shelter. Y'all should know where it is right?"
"Yes sir but there could be rubble in our way. We will dig through it and see if we can find anyone down there. We need hard hats though?"
"Very good. Now I need some of you to come with me and Theo. We are going further into the plant. This building didn't get the damage the other two got. But you all need hard hats and I know they have them in the office to the left. So let's go grab them, you guys come and get yours too before you start down the hall."
They all walk very carefully over to the office supply room and each one grabs a hat and glasses and some get gloves
"Guys be careful we don't know if the ceiling here was damaged or not. But if you hear any loud noise, get the hell out of here."
"Yes sir, we will."
They split up Ray and Theo and his guys head for the kitchens to see the damage and see if all the people made it out and no one was left inside
As they are walking into the kitchen they see a leg and another leg of someone on the floor
Ray runs over with the guys following and see that it is a woman
"Ray, isn't that Mrs. Adams? The woman we met last Friday? Why did they leave her?"
"Possibly they didn't see her in time."
"Yes it is lord help her. Ok let me call Dav and have him send EMTs here. One of you guys go and meet them and bring them in here. Let's check for a pulse?"
Ray feels the side of her neck and yes she is alive but it is weak
"Alright I'm calling Dav you head out to meet the EMTs."
The fellow takes off running
"Dav I have Mrs. Adams she is on the floor unconscious and she has a weak pulse when I checked her. One of the guys is going to meet the EMT's at the door. Send them in now with a stretcher please."
"Ten-four Ray will do. Yes I see the guy now and the EMTs are on their way to meet him."
"Alright we will wait for them. Mrs. Adams is the only one so far. We will keep looking as soon as the EMTs get here."
"Damn, it looks like she hit her head when she fell. I pray she will be alright. She loved my Annie so much."
"I am sure she will be alright Ray."
The EMTs walk over and access Mrs. Adams and place her on the stretcher and walk away
"Fellows when she fell she hit something going down. From the looks of this table I would say that is what it was. There is blood on it and I am pretty sure it is her. She has a concussion and needs some stitches. Her pulse is a little weak but I feel like she will make it. She has good color and breathing on her own."
"Thank you for taking good care of her. We will get in touch with her husband."
"Yes sir. We will be going now. We still have ambulances outside."
With that said he left and Ray, Theo and the guys start looking again
They have walked over all the front kitchen now they are starting in the back kitchen
"Thank you lord I don't see anyone. Have any of you found someone?"
"No sir, not yet. We are still looking. Andy and Glen are checking the bathrooms back here."
"Good and we will check over here on this side."
They all meet up and haven't found anyone else. They have walked all over the front and back of the building and now they are going toward the front where the storm shelter is
"Sir, we have a lot of people here. None of them are hurt but they are scared. Come this way please and watch your step. We have some rubble that fell."
"Oh thank the lord they are all alright."
RAy and the guys walk into the storm shelter and look around at all the sad faces
"Mr. Steele what are you doing here sir? Oh no, don't tell Ms. Ana here somewhere? We saw her earlier introducing new employees."
"Yes Betty, am I right?"
'Yes sir."
"Well they were showing the new guys around and someone set off some bombs and she and her boyfriend got caught in the glass plant and we are trying to get them out. The roof and ceiling gave way on them."
"Oh sweet Jesus, we need to help them find them."
"No ma'am you do not. Right now we have manpower out there searching for them. We could use some guys but no women, this isn't something for women to do."
"Come on, let's get you all out of here. You are safe just make sure you watch where you are walking on your way out of here. There is rubble on the floor. Just walk out the front entrance. If you feel like you need to be checked out the EMTs are right out there for you."
They all get up and walk to the door and look out and see the mess on the floor. They walk carefully out to the front entrance and step out into the sunshine

Lord have mercy I am so glad they are all alright. I know there had to be at least a hundred people that walked out of that storm shelter.
I wonder if anyone saw Mrs. Adams fall and didn't offer to help her? If they did that was so wrong of them. Maybe like Theo said no one saw her

Ray walks out the door and back over to Dav who has command central going on
"Any news Dav? Anything, anything at all?"
"No Ray, I am sorry. They have been able to get in yet. They are working hard and it has been..he looks at his watch… seven hours now and the sun will be going down in a few more hours. They better hurry up."
"Where the hell is Theo?"
"I thought he was with you."
"That jackass walked with the guys as I was looking around. I am going to go and get him. I know where he is and you do too."
"Be careful Ray. Ana would shoot me if anything happened to you."
"Yes sir she surely would."
"Is Elliot still around there helping them?"
"Yes he is and I am sure he is letting his grandpa have it for being back there."
Ray chuckles to himself
"I don't doubt that a bit."
"Well I am going to go and get the old man. I'll be back."
Ray walks off and goes down the path to the back building where his pride and joy is and praying she will be alright. He is also praying for that young man she is with. Lord he has had enough done to him. Please let him be alright. Let them both be alright they are meant to be together. I am glad they are together and not alone right now. They have each other to lean on in there
Ray makes it to the back of the plants and sees everyone working hard. He spots Theo bickering with Elliot.
"Old man, what are you doing back here? How the hell did you get here so fast?"
"I just walked fast and who are you calling old? Old man yourself, what did you crawl on the ground to get here? I have been here at least twenty minutes."
"You two are something else. If I didn't know you both I would think you're ready to fight. Behave both of you."
"Have they heard or seen anything El?"
"No sir, nothing yet. I pray they made it to the shelter."
"From the blueprints they were close. But they have to get Annie's leg out and pray the ceiling didn't do any damage to them when it came down. If my calculations are right they shouldn't be more than a thousand feet from the door. But then again if they are hurt it will feel like ten thousand to them."
'Let's hope they made it. I am going back over there and relieving one of the guys so he can get some water and take a break for a few minutes. You two go back to the front or stay out of the way back here. I don't want either of you hurt. My dear brother and your Annie would whip my butt."
"Come on Ray, let's go sit in the shade over there for a bit."

They go and sit down on some empty stacks of pallets and wait for word
"Do you think they made it to the shelter Ray?"
"I don't know Theo but I am praying they did. I told Elliot if my calculations were right they aren't but a thousand feet from the shelter."
"Yes if they are conscious and get Ana out of whatever is holding her down. Ray I am worried it is going to be dark soon and now this has been going on for eight hours. How much more can they take in there? I know Ana has special training but my boy doesn't."
"I don't know Theo. Yes Annie has special training but I don't think that training will help a lot there if neither can move or are conscious. We will have to pray and have faith that they will get them out and not be hurt too badly."
There is something going on over there as they watch all the activity going on. They are working hard very hard

Ana my love please wake up. I need you, I can't lose you. You are my life. Yet she sleeps and I can't see her. I can feel her and I feel blood. It is wet and sticky and I don't know where it is coming from. We have been here for hours. Hell, I don't know how many hours. I just need her to wake up damnit. I am going to marry this woman one day soon. Hell it will only be a matter of time before I ask Ray for his baby girl's hand.
"I know my past is my past and it is over. I am so glad that Ray does not hold it against me any longer. I can't blame him for what he did years ago. Not letting me talk to her when I was drinking and fighting but I wished he would have knocked some sense into me. Oh hell no, no just no. No more of that past shit we are done with that.
Now we have our future to look forward to. I can't wait to marry my love and have a family. Yes me I want a family with my love as many babies as she will give me. They will look like her if they are girls and like me if they are boys. I will have to fight the boys off with a shotgun…he says laughing to himself…but first I have to have Ray teach me how to shoot…won't that be a hoot..
Now if my love will just wake up. God my back is killing me. I know it is bleeding too. I feel it as I pull my shirt away so the blood won't dry. Maybe I should let it dry and that way it will stop bleeding cause I am beginning to feel a little weak from loss of it. I shake my head to stay awake

I don't know how long but my ass is numb and I am hungry. We never made it to the storm shelter

Ana moans and tries to wake up but she can't seem to open her eyes. She feels Christian beside her. Something is wrong with him. She checks her watch and thank god it lights up. Oh sweet Jesus we have been in here for over ten hours now. Does anyone know where we are? Where is Sawyer? Did he make it out to get help?

They need help before something bad happens to them. They need water and food desperately
Outside everyone is working so hard to move all the debris out of the way they have the doors cleared but trying to get inside is going slow because of all the stuff that has fallen down from the floors above
"Get out of my way I am going in there to find my brother and the little lady. It has been way too long. They need help"… Elliot cries and he doesn't care who sees him
"Elliot calm down I know you want to go in there but you can't go all gung ho. We have to be careful you know this. The building is not steady and if we make the wrong move we could lose them both."
"Taylor I know I just want them out dammit."
"Yes Elliott we all do. We have to be reasonable about this. We can't just rush in and you know it?"
"Take a little break. Go sit with Theo and Ray over there under the shade tree. Now that is an order go."
Elliot walks over to Ray and grandpa
"What was all that commotion going on over there Elliot?"
"That was just me being myself trying to get to them and not thinking straight. Taylor talked to me and told me to take a break. Grandpa, they have been in there for a long time.. he looks at his watch..coming up on eleven hours. How much more can they take? The air is stale in there with all the smoke and dust. No telling what has fallen on or around them."
"Yes El we know. There is nothing we can do but take our time. They can't move too fast. Looking at the rest of that roof it will be slow going or it will tumble down on them. I pray they made it to the shelter and they got Annie's leg out."
They hear yelling and look over and see them working hard pulling pieces of wood, metal and everything else out of the way. Elliot runs over there
"What's going on guys? Did you find a way into them?"
"Elliot we heard someone scream it was not real loud. We don't know if it was Ana or Christian but it was someone. So we are going to try and work around this part of the roof and see if we can see anything with the LED lights they have set up. Don't go gung ho now we have to take our time. Do you hear me?"
"Yes Taylor I hear you but I don't like it. Come on, maybe I can help in some way. I know how the building was built even though I didn't build this one. They are all the same and damn the little lady made sure they were enforced to protect everyone."
"Elliot look here at this blueprint? See where the top two beams are still intact? They go all the way over to the other side of the roof. They are holding strong. If they weren't the whole roof would have caved in long before now. Is there any way you could work around those beams and maybe brace other beams as you try to get through all the debris that y'all are throwing out as you go in further?"
"Let me take this over to the rescue team and have Travis look at it. We might be able to do what you said Ray. I think it is possible."
"Travis, Ray brought me the blueprints and he has an idea and I agree with him. Look at these prints right here? See where these two beams go all the way across the top to the other side? Well Ray suggested that we brace them more as we go further in the building. I believe it will work. Like I told Ray I know how this building is built even though I didn't build this one. Ana made sure the roofs were enforced to protect everyone. That is why it is still holding and hasn't come down."
"You might be right. Guys listen up we need to get some heavy beams in here so we can start bracing the other beams as we try to go further into the building. We will take our time but time is not on our that we don't have to spare. But we can't rush this or it will cave in on them."
"Guys I called a company that Ana used once to deliver some long heavy beams and they will be here within thirty minutes."
" Mr. Steele, thank you so much. We can use all of them and more. We don't know how far they are in the building."
"You are welcome and from what I can remember while looking at the blueprints they are close to the shelter and it is close to this wall over here. That means they are more than halfway in the we have a ways to go to find them."
Theo walks over and listens to them talking
"My God we have to get them out of there. It has almost been twelve hours now. I took the liberty of having a motorhome set up front for the ladies and anyone that needed a break. The motorhome should be here soon.
Paula called in some favors. Seems like all she had to say was that we need food and beverages and we have three catering services on the way. This is on the news running twenty-four-seven on all channels."
"Yeah I figured that from the news helicopters that were flying around all day. You know we have some of the National Guard flying theirs with the lights on checking the buildings out and trying to look through the roofs that have fallen for survivors?"
"Yes I saw them and thank God for them. Have they found anyone?"
"No one yet."
"Alright now when the food gets here all of you need to take turns and come eat and drink something. They will have the catering trucks set up near the front."
They all yell thank you and get back to work
Less than thirty minutes later three big eighteen wheelers come in loaded with beams and they are starting to off load them for the rescue teams
"Guys thank y'all so much for coming to our aid so quickly."
"Mr. Steele, we have been watching this all day and we are here to help any way we can."
"Arnold, thank you so much. Right now y'all are helping just unloading these beams. We can use all the help we can get."
Alright one truck unloaded two to go. The first truck has moved out and the second one is setting up to off load the beams
From the looks of it they have all the beams they will need and more
Meanwhile back inside the building. It is so quiet with no noise. No one is talking. Ana and Christian are both unconscious. Neither know what is happening outside or the effort that is going on trying to get to them and bring them safely out of the building. They are both in a deep sleep hopefully that will start to heal their bodies
Out front Adele, Gail and Paula are busy helping with the food preparations to feed everyone.
Not one employee has left to go home. Now that shows dedication not only to their job but to their boss. They all love Ana
"Ladies, here comes your home on wheels for however long you will need it. Mr. Theo knew that y'all were not going to go to the apartments."
"And Mr. Theo would be right Nick thank you."
"You are welcome Ms. Adele. Now I am going to show them where to park it and set it up for y'all. We took the liberty to order food for you all even though Paula got the food trucks here."
"You are such a dear sweet boy Nick."
"Well mama did raise me right."
"Come on ladies, let's give a hand and help feed everyone. Paula I think we need more catering trucks? I don't believe these are enough?"
"Don't worry gran I have more coming they are preparing the food. We have breakfast coming, some of them are making all kinds of sandwiches and snacks. You name it, they are bringing it. Ana has used all of the catering services at one time or another for company cookouts, her famous company parties and picnics she likes to have for her employees."
"I pray they find them and Ana can teach Christian how to be like she is. I know we were talking about something different but my mind just went to them and Christian."
"Come on, gran they need our help."
"Yes, yes they do. Me and my rambling."
They all walk over to where they the caterers are setting everything up at the tables they brought with them and Paula introduces them all
"BeLinda, Jase, Kimberly, Ellen, Sally, Becky, Matt, Kevin and Thomas this is the family of the Ms. Ana and Mr. Grey,"
"Very to meet you all. I am Adele the grandmother."
"Nice to meet you all. I am Gail a friend of the family and house maid for Mr. Grey and Ms. Ana at the moment."
"Well ladies, whatever you can do to help feed all these lovely people lined up will help us tremendously."
"Where do you want us? Point the way?"
"Just find an empty spot and start?"
The ladies walk over and find their place and start helping to feed everyone in line and to somewhat keep their minds off what is going on in the back
Meanwhile in the back
"Alright guys we have all the beams off loaded and when I counted them we have two hundred beams and if we need more Ray will call for them to bring more."
"Elliot I need your expertise on how to set the first beams in place since this is your field? I know I can tell you all how to do it but I would rather have Elliot because he is familiar with this type of building."
"Let me look at the prints Travis?"
Elliot is looking at the prints and studying them. He is looking at the entrance to the doors
"Ok guys we need to put a brace on each side of the door as we go in and one in the center. Make sure they are in the continue to put one on each side and in the center as we move further in. Look here when we get past the doors and into the main entrance we will need to place the beams one behind each other no less than ten feet intervals as we move further in. I cannot stress how critical it is to make sure each beam is correctly placed in the center as we move further in. They will give extra support to the roof and ceiling."
"Yes sir, we understand."
"Alright guys follow mine and Travis's lead as we set a beam. You guys follow and start setting your beams. From Ray and my calculations they are almost on the other side of this room which means they are more than halfway across it. You will feel a set of stairs, probably just the steps and maybe some handrails. Be careful. That means we are halfway in the building. So we have a lot to do to get to them safely."
"We are ready when you are Elliot and we have EMTs waiting at the doors to come in when we call for them."
Back to Ana and Christian
They are still both unconscious but they are fading fast. From lack of oxygen, not to mention all the chemicals and smoke inhalation, fresh air, food and water. They are both severely dehydrated and desperately need water. They are both losing blood from the wounds they have and Ana's leg is in bad shape, not to mention Christian's back and neck. Don't know what other wounds these two precious people have but they need help very soon
"Elliot slow down man you are going to get yourself killed. Let me place a beam after you, then Taylor and so on?"
"Damn I am so sorry guys, maybe I shouldn't be here. I am going to get all of us killed with my hurry up and get to them attitude."
"No you won't and yes you need to be here to guide us. Just slow down a little more. Cause if you don't these beams won't get placed in the right position young man."
Wow Elliot was reprimanded by Travis but in a good way. He didn't yell at him. He knows he needs to slow down but his family is inside this damn building
"Taylor, where is Ray and grandpa? Please tell me they are outside waiting?"
"One of the guys took Theo to the motorhome to be with Adele and the ladies and have something to eat and drink. Ray is behind me. He has had some water and no use trying to talk him out of it. Anyway he is in better health than Theo. So let's continue on."
"Ok let's go guys and I promise I will pace myself for us to be safe. What is all this stuff that has fallen? Do you have any idea Ray?"
"From the looks of it I would say it's probably some of the tables and desks from the offices on the second floor and this over here I guess is the lines and wiring to the conveyor belts that run through the top of this floor. See there are parts of the belt over there?"
Ray says as he puts his flashlight on the belt and shows them
"Yeah I see it. I am guessing the smell is from the chemicals when they got to hot. Am I right?"
"Yes Elliot you are right. Now let's continue but at a slower pace."
They are making progress but slowly doing it. It will take time to find them. They are all saying silent prayers for them and everyone else
"Guys I am at the stairs I feel the handrails. We are at the halfway point. Slower now cause this feels like there is a lot of debris on the floor and this is where they were thrown from. Feel as much as you can cause the ceiling is on the floor and over them. So step cautiously please."
As they are walking slowly the guys are using their flashlights and looking around.
"I think I have found them or someone. Look here y'all?"
"The ones that are not holding the beams and wedging them are all running over to the person or persons on the floor under the ceiling. They careful remove the rubble and the debris away from the bodies and look down and see that it is them
"Ray yell for the EMTs we have found Ana and Christian and they don't look good. We need them here fast. Some of you go out and help them in here so they don't get hurt. Guys don't move them and be careful moving what is on them."
Ray makes his way over to Elliot and Taylor and they all walk over to Ana and Christian and start to cry
"Oh my God my baby girl Annie. Lord a mercy Christian look at y'all? They look so peaceful. Please tell me they are alive? We can't lose them. I refuse to lose them."
Ray falls down on the floor crying and holding Ana and Christian's hand cause they are holding hands and he is not letting go of them. Elliot falls down beside Ray and feels for a pulse on both of them
"They are alive but barely their pulse is very weak."
"Ray, Elliot you have to move the EMTs here. Come on guys, they need to check them before they can transport them to the hospital. Please get up both of you?"
Taylor and Travis help them to their feet but they keep a hand on each one so they don't fall down
"They have been down here for fourteen hours gentlemen. They are severely dehydrated and they have smoke inhalation and I am sure they have inhaled some of the chemicals around here. Not to mention the dust and everything else."
"Now if some of you strong men can very gently move this rubble from them we will see what is going on. We do know Ms. Steele's leg is wedged and Mr. Grey's back is hurt. That is all that your grandfather has told us that you know so far is that right?"
"Yes sir, that is all we know."
"Alright as soon as the debris is off of them and around them we will see what all is wrong with them."
"Thank you so much."
"Our pleasure."
Some of them are standing there waiting while others are moving the rubble off of Ana and Christian very slowly. During all this time neither has awaken or moved not even a moan nothing
The rubble has been removed and the EMTs are starting to assess their patients
"Their Blood Pressures are very low, their pulse is slow, they are both unconscious and very dehydrated. Mr. Grey has a bad cut on the nape of his neck and from what we could see after we bandaged his neck and put the neck brace on his back was bleeding but it seems like his shirt is stuck to the dried blood.
Now where the ceiling fell on him the heavier part broke his right leg in two places he has bone sticking out. I am sure with the blood he has lost from the back and neck wound the leg wound contributed to his unconsciousness.
His breathing is shallow from all the stale air and the lack of fresh air. His oxygen level is down too."
"Ms. Steele has a few cuts about her eye. I am assuming they are from the fallen debris. Her left arm is definitely broken from the beam that fell on it. Her leg is another story. We are still trying to get the beam off of her leg to assess it. Bear with us please we are working as quickly but as safely as we can under the circumstances."
"Yes sir, you take your time we are not going to rush any of you. Can you tell us what hospital they will be going to. My family lives in Washington State. We are down here on vacation with Ms. Steele and Mr. Grey. I am Elliot Grey, Mr. Grey is my brother."
"We are transporting them both to the trauma center here in Charleston because they have severe wounds and loss of blood."
"Thank you for telling us. I am Ray Steele, Ms. Steele's father. Will it be possible for Elliot and I to ride with you?"
"Under the circumstances no sir it won't. We have to be able to get to them at a moment's notice if something were to happen. I hope you both understand?"
"Yes sir, we do."
"I am Jason Taylor I am Mr. Grey's CPO and I must insist that I am allowed to ride with him. I am the head of his security team."
"Mr. Taylor you would have to sit in the front with the driver and it is not allowed but under these circumstances I will allow it. Mr. Grey I am sorry but he is security and I am familiar with your brother and what has been going on with him from the media. I hope you understand my reason?"
"Yes, yes, of course I do. We will be right behind you."
"Thank you for understanding,"
"Alright Ken come look at her leg we have all the debris and the beam off and it looks pretty bad."
"Oh my lord Evan, I think her femur is broken and cracked. See how it is bulging out here and here? The ceiling got on her chest and side and she is having trouble breathing. I believe she might have a punctured lung not sure but her breathing is really shallow now more since all of this was moved off of her."
"Ken let me check her breathing again with my stethoscope and assess her better now she is free from all that rubble."
"Alright come on over here and I will get her leg ready for us to transport them. Look at her foot, she hurt it too."
"Guys I know you won't let me ride with my daughter but her CPO is here and he will go with her. He will sit in the front and we will follow you."
"Yes Mr. Steele, no problem."
"Hello Ray, any word please tell me something? These ladies and grandpa are about to have a heart attack. They have heard that you all are in there with them."
"Yes Dav we are in and we have them. The EMTs will be transporting them to the trauma center here in Charleston. They both have some very serious wounds. Do not tell them much. They are alive but unconscious and dehydrated. I need you back here. You will be riding in the front with the driver to the hospital. They know you are her CPO and Taylor is Christian's.
Have Nick bring you around here in the car and pick me up. Have the family in the car as well and as soon as the ambulance goes by we will follow you all."
"Yes sir, I will have Nick do that right now. See you soon."
"Alright everyone please get in the car that was Ray he said they have found them. They are alive but unconscious and severely dehydrated and they will be out and on their way to the hospital here as soon as they get them situated inside the building for transport."
"Oh praise the Lord."
Adele starts crying and like a chain reaction she has everyone in tears including the men
"Now we are going around the back. I am riding with Ana to the hospital cause I am her CPO and Taylor will be with Christian. Nick is picking up Ray and he is riding with you all to the hospital. He can tell you more than I can.
Nick tell Dane to make sure we have enough security here and at the hospital to watch over everything and everyone. Have someone stand up front with a megaphone and let them know they are safe and on the way to the hospital.
Tell everyone thank you for staying with us through this ordeal and to go home and rest."
"Yes Dav I will relay the message to Dane right now."
Nick told Dane what he needed to do and disconnected the hands free call
They got around back just as the EMTs, Elliot, Ray and Taylor were walking out
"Ray, come on Nick is waiting on you?"
"Hey did we ever get a head count on how many were hurt and do we have everyone out of the buildings?"
"Yes Ray, we do. There were twenty injuries, some serious that required the hospital. Like a broken leg or arm some got hit in the head. They have been taken to the hospital already. Some had cuts and bruises from the debris that fell. We didn't lose anyone."
"Thank you Dav, we will see you at the hospital. We will follow y'all."
Just as they were putting Ana in the back she stopped breathing
"Ray, come on let them work."
"No, hell no something is wrong, look? They are working on Annie."
Ray and Dav run over to the ambulance
'What is going on? What is wrong with her?"
"She has a punctured lung and we have to intubate her now before we move her. She is not getting air and we have to open an airway and the tube will do that. Please give us room to work."
It takes them a few minutes to get the tube in and another few minutes for Ana to start breathing again
"Ok she is breathing and as I said earlier very shallow. We will be leaving now. Are you Ms. Steele's CPO?"
"Yes , my name is Davidson. I am ready when y'all are?"
They loaded Ana up and off they went. Got lights flashing, Sirens blaring. They have Christian loaded up and they are moving as well lights a flashing and sirens a blaring
The family and half the employees are behind them

As the ambulances pull up at the emergency room entrance they are not only working on Ana again but now on Christian he has lost a lot of blood and he flatlined just as they pulled up
"The hospital doctors and nurses were waiting on them from the calls they have been receiving
"Oh my bring Ms. Steele this way."
"Bring Mr. Grey this way now."
A nurse jumps on his stretcher and starts CPR on him as they go around the corner and into the operating room
"Where are they taking him ma'am? I am his CPO and I need to be with him."
"I am sorry sir but he is going to surgery and you are not allowed back there."
"Annie, Annie baby girl, you better come back to me."
"Ray, come on let them do their job. They need to work on her now."
As he says this another nurse starts working on Ana and they rush around the bend into another operating room
Ray falls on the floor crying and Adele walks over to him and holds him and cries right along with Ray
Dav and Elliot help them off the floor and into the waiting room. Everyone is crying and praying
Don't hate me please. I am working on 33 right now. I have my grandson and he is a very demanding little man
I am not medically inclined but I do know what a broken and cracked femur is. It happened to me five years ago. Then last year one of my grandson's lungs was punctured and collapsed and he had to be intubated before they could put him in the ambulance
