Chapter 1 Spark

In the far reaches of space, Eris the Goddess of Chaos floated with a board expression on her face. The planet Earth had become incredibly peaceful and orderly, with very little chaos to be found. The kingdoms and civilizations of men were living in peace with each other and there was little greed or strife to be found. The whole thing sickened and disgusted Eris, who had left the planet in search of something that would allow her to shift the balance and cause chaos to spread across the world.
So far Eris had found nothing to work with, then she saw a small blue flicker and went to go investigate it. Eris found a comet flying through space, but it was no ordinary comet. She could sense a great energy coming from it. Eris stopped the comet with her powers and opened it up to look inside and found a fairly large blue glowing crystal. She knew this was no ordinary crystal, it was creation of the Titans! The discovery filled Eris with both excitement and joy. She had finally found what she had been looking for. Something that would shift the balance and cause chaos to spread on Earth.
Eris carefully pointed the comet, so it would fly past Earth and that the crystal would fall from it and strike the kingdom of Atlantis. Once the people of Atlantis discovered the crystal and learned about it's powers they would be swallowed up by greed and ambition as they would use their new power to conquer the world and engulf it in chaos.
Eris flung the comet and laughed.
"It only takes one spark to start a fire." Said Eris.
