I know I already have 3 stories I barley update to work on but I kinda HAVE to make a Evil Deku story. I first got into My Hero Academia about April 2018 and quickly got into the fandom. And when I find about Evil Deku I just instantly fell in love. I mean, the backstory fits so well for a sympathetic villain! Seriously, if Horikoshi took the story into a different direction then Izuku would be up there with Light Yagami or Walter White as one of the best villain protagonists of all time. But alas, he took the direction he did and even though I like it there's so much I disagree with. WHY give Izuku a quirk in such a flawed society that deserves to be called out? I know the society has been called out by Stain before but we can't just ignore all the shit Izuku went trough.

After reading so many Evil Deku stories I decided it was time to make my own. Now this has been in my head for quite some time now and I think I started this up back in January but it's here now. Enjoy...

Deku

Prologue: A Dream Killed

There are infinite Earths in the multiverse. Most are exactly the same like where we are today with only minor differences. Some are radically different like if the Nazis won World War 2 or if the dinosaurs still roamed the Earth. Some are also so radically different that their history is nothing like ours and even have a different name for their planet. But this one Earth stands out against the rest of the others because of how unique it is. What makes it so unique is because it has what other universes only have in comic books, movies, TV series, video games, ect.

Superheroes.

That's right. Over a 100 years ago a child was born that could illuminate light. It was only the start as reports from all around the world people started to gain superpowers. But the public didn't refer to them as superpowers at all, instead they referred to them as "quirks." Not so long after this, people started to use their quirks for their own personal gain and broke many crimes. So a new profession came in. A profession that many could only dream of happening: being a superhero.

It was a profession that countless boys and girls dreamed of having for countless reasons. Some want to become a hero simply because they are inspired by heroes saving lives. Most want to become heroes for fame and fortune, partly because they see their personal heroes do it for the fame and fortune. And others want to become heroes to simply prove that they are strong. It is a truly extraordinary and exciting world to live in that is filled with countless possibilities.

But it's also a very flawed and cruel world to live in.

And one boy at the age of 4 is about to learn that not all men were born equal.

"Why are you being so mean?" the boy cried. "You're making him cry, Kacchan. If you keep hurting him, I-I'll a... I'll stop you myself!"

There stood Izuku Midoriya. Standing there with scruffy green hair, plain shirt, green shorts, and red shoes protecting a kid behind him from Katsuki Bakugo a friend of his up until this point on the school playground.

"Hmph," Bakugo replied with his two goons standing behind him, one being chubby with wings and the other skinny with elongated fingers. "You wanna pretend to be a hero. You don't stand a chance without a quirk, Deku."

Katsuki Bakugo was also 4 at that time and recently developed his quirk: combustion. The students started to worship as he had an interesting quirk that had much promise for his future. And that was the difference between Izuku and him. Izuku was quirkless, meaning that he had no powers whatsoever. It wasn't much of a rarity as 20% of the human race at the time were also quirkless, but we were defiantly lower class than the other 80% because if most of the world had fucking super powers what could they do that would benefit society?

That fact was lunged in Bakugo's head for the next 10 years as he beat and called Izuku useless countless times. This time was the first and the beginning of his torture of me. After him and his goons beat and left me the rot on the ground the kid that they were bullying came by and thanked Izuku. Though he felt terrible on the outside he felt great in the inside. It made Izuku think he could achieve a dream he could never have:

Being a hero.

10 years later...

The alarm clock ranged. Izuku sighed as he lazily turned it off. Like every other teenage boy he just wanted to put the blanket over his head and go back to sleep. But like every other teenage boy he reluctantly got out of bed and got ready for the day. After taking his shower he put on his black school uniform and headed down stairs where his mother had breakfast ready.

"Hey, mom." Izuku said with a small smile.

"Hi, sweety." his mother, Inko Midioriya, said with a smile on her face. "Eat up quick I don't want you to be late."

"Mom, I got awhile before first period starts." Izuku said as he kissed her cheek. "I'll be fine."

"I know, I know." his mother said with a wave of her hand. "I just worry that I might make you late for school one of these days."

"You worry about everything." Izuku said rolling his eyes, smiling. "And besides, your cooking is worth getting late for."

"Oh, stop it." Inko blushed.

Mother and son sat down and ate breakfast together for the next 15 minutes. Inko was really the only person Izuku could ever really talk to. Due to him being quirkless he was never able to make friends at school because they all thought of him of being weak and thinking that they were above him, despite him having high academic scores. So throughout most of his life Izuku was a social outcast as everybody else that everyone either ignored or laughed that, making him having poor social skills. All because he didn't have a quirk. But his mother was different. Despite Izuku being quirkless he was still her son and thus she tried to be the best mother she could be. Whenever he would have trouble with school work she would help him (despite being a very rare occurrence), whenever he would get hurt she would try everything in her power to make those wounds heal as quick as possible, whenever he needed a new notebook just to write down facts about heroes he came across she would buy him them as they always made him happy, and whenever he cried about not having a quirk she would hold him and try to make him feel better.

She was truly the only human connection that Izuku had. Especially after his dad left...

Shortly after it was revealed that Izuku was quirkless Hisashi Midoriya left his wife and son. It wasn't like Izuku being quirkless was the reason he left though. Though Izuku was mostly too young remember Inko would say that she and Hisashi would fight all the time like him about the most trivial things like her always being paranoid about every little thing or him not making enough money to support the family. But Izuku did remember one argument though. It was after his mother tucked him in one night and he stayed awake in bed to see his dad. When Hisashi finally did come home Inko confronted him about where he was because she knew that he got off work hours ago. He waved it off by saying that his boss asked him to stay late. She then told him that his three-year-old son was asking where his daddy was and she didn't know what to tell him. He then angrily replied that she should've told him that was he busy supporting this family like she told him too. She then retorted that he was too lazy to do that and asked if there was another woman. After that question there was nothing but in-comprehensible yelling as Izuku just went back under the covers and silently sobbed because mommy and daddy were fighting.

After he left Inko filed for divorce which went through but she and Izuku were stuck with last name. She could've changed their last name to her maiden name but that would've cost too much money and since Inko was originally a stay-at-home mother she was left with half of the money that Hisashi earned which wasn't much at all. This ended pissing her off so much that removed every picture that had Hisashi in it. He still called though albeit for a little while just to see Izuku was doing but those stopped around when Izuku turned 6. She would still answer Izuku's questions about him though though he didn't ask much since he knew it hurt her to be reminded of her ex-husband. Izuku hated to see his mother in pain so he just accepted the fact that he'll barley remember father. Hell, he doesn't even remember what he looked like.

But Inko Midiorya was the best mother any child could ask for and Izuku decided that his father was an idiot to leave her.

"I'm working the late shift tonight so I'll leave food in the fridge that you can just heat up in the microwave." Inko explained with a hint of disappointment in her voice.

"Okay, Mom." Izuku nodded.

It wasn't un-common for Inko to work late shifts. She was a nurse and her job sometimes required her full attention. Besides, Izuku was use to being alone for long periods of time. But that doesn't mean he liked being alone. But he also didn't want his mother his to worry about him so he just nodded and changed the topic.

"Any plans for this week?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

"Okay, so Thursday night Mitsuki and Bakugo are coming over for dinner." Inko said.

Izuku stiffened.

"S-something w-wrong, sweety?" Inko asked with concern dripping in her voice.

"N-nothing's wrong." Izuku affirmed with a fake smile. "Just surprised is all. We really don't see the Bakugo's that often."

Izuku knows that his mother loves him with all her heart and loved her back with all of his heart. But that didn't mean that didn't have they're flaws. Izuku was heavily bullied throughout his life. Mainly by Katsuki. He never told Inko about it. Whenever he would come home with bruises he would brush it off by saying that he was roughhousing with his friends despite not having any. When asked why he never brought any of his "friends" over Izuku would just fake laugh and say that he was scared that she would embarrass him.

Suddenly this breakfast became harder to sit through for Izuku. The thought of Katsuki at this table was horrible but the fact that in a couple days Izuku is going to have to fake a smile and nod along to what his mother and Mitsuki are going to talk about while Katsuki is just going to growl and say nothing the entire time and the next day Katsuki is most likely going to beat Izuku in the schoolyard after school just for being in the quirkless boy's presence for a few hours just made Izuku's blood cold and stomach no longer longing for anymore food. Izuku gobbled down what was left on his plate so he can get a move on for the day just so he doesn't have to think about Katsuki beating him anymore.

"I gotta go, the train leaves in less than 10 minutes." Izuku said getting out of his chair and getting his backpack.

"I love you, Mom." Izuku said as he kissed her on the cheek.

"I love you too, sweety." Inko said as he walked out the door.

As Izuku walked shut the door he got on his phone to see the news of the morning to fully get his mind off of Katsuki and his next inevitable beating. Hell, he was about to be in the same room with the guy so he might as well enjoy the few minutes of looking at his phone while he traveled to school. His phone pinged alerting him of a villain attack. He gasped with glee as he immediately ran towards the location. When there was a red light Izuku was basically jumping up and down as the cars drove by before crossing the sidewalk. The fellow citizens looked at him weirdly as he ran with a huge smile on his face but he didn't care. There was a villain causing ruckus and when a villain causes a ruckus there's always a hero that swoops in and stops them. And Izuku loves heroes.

He ran following the directions on his phone and he gasped when he got to his destination. There was a huge supervillain. Not Kaiju huge but huge nonetheless. The villain was surrounded by a few heroes already so there was no way he was going to get away with the crime he just committed. Crowds gathered around at the sight to witness the villain take down that was about to happen even recording it on their phones but luckily the police was there to block them getting too close to the fight and Izuku cut through the crowd to get a nice good look. The police in these situations mainly acted to protect citizens and let the heroes do all the work. After the villain is taken down the police would promptly arrest and bring them in while heroes took all the glory.

"That's one huge supervillain!" Midoriya yelled out loudly with a happy smile on his face.

The villain was looking for ways to escape, not really knowing what to do. But taking the crowd in for the factor he roared and smashed a nearby transmission tower that could land on them and they'll take the main attention of the authorities. The tower fell and the people below it bellowed in fear but a large and buff man ran out in the scene and caught the tower with both if his hands before it could harm a single civilian.

"I got it!" he yelled as sweat dripped down on his face.

"Oh nice! Way to go Death Arms!" a citizen yelled out in the crowd.

"The punching hero. I wish I had a quirk that made me super strong." another citizen said in awe.

Izuku started to make his way through the crowd, carefully not stepping on anyone's shoe or shove into them. The crowd paid him no mind, even if he didn't exist.

"Everyone, please stay back! This area is far too dangerous!" a hero that had a water quirk and dressed like a firefighter yelled out as he created a fence of water out of his bear hands around the perimeter.

"Whoa, the rescue specialist Backdraft is here?! He'll make sure we're okay!" a citizen stated proudly.

"This guy must be desperate to go full-on monster in the middle of the city. Do you know what happened?" someone asked curiously.

"Some amateur." another citizen mumbled. "Stole someone's bag and then got himself cornered."

"With a quirk like that and he's just a petty thief." the other citizen stated.

"I got held up. Trains out. Another villain. I'm not sure when I'm gonna make it into the office." a business man said on the phone casually as it was an everyday occurrence.

And it was basically was in this world.

Just then another hero jumped in on the scene, using his wooden arm to latch onto the environment around him.

"AAAAHHH! Mister Kamui, we're your biggest fans!" a literally group of fan girls yelled.

The wood-based hero used his arm to latch onto the villain's arm but the villain swatted him away.

"Get away from me! RAAHHH! Or I'll break your twig back." the monster-sized villain roared.

"Ah, this is gonna be good!" Izuku yelled out as he finally made it to the front, taking in the glorious heroes vs villain scene.

He pulled out his notebook and started to write down details about the heroes on sight. If he was going to be a good hero one day then he would need to know what other heroes do to save people. This isn't the first time he's done this. With the app on his phone alerting him about these things he managed to make 12 notebooks chalk filled with facts and details about heroes he's witness with his own eyes in the past 3 years. He's currently on his 13th now and isn't planning on stopping anytime soon.

Just then Woods landed on a building and looked the minster-sized villain straight in the eye, just like out of a classic comic book scene.

"It's Kamui Woods. He may be new but he's making a big name for himself." Izuku said out loud to no one in particular.

"Why look at that dopey grin and I know what you are. A fanboy." a man beside Izuku said with a smirk.

"Uh, sorta...heeeh." Izuku said sheepishly.

"Assault, robbery, and the illegal use of powers during rush hour traffic. You are in the incarnation of evil." Kamui Woods stated matter-a-factly.

"There, his special move!" Izuku pointed out.

"Go on tree man! Show us something flashy!" the man shouted out.

"The Preemptive Binding Lacquered Chains Prison!" he said as his arm morphed into a tree branch and quickly moved forward upon the monster-sized villain and encase him.

But before he could do that, a monster-sized hero rushed in on the scene and kicked the monster-sized villain down.

"Canyon Cannon!"

The crowd and heroes stared in shock as they witnessed the villain go down in one kick. After the dust settled they could clearly see the... behind of the hero, who turned her body to reveal a young and attractive woman.

"Piece of cake for the next world hottest hero! Hi there everyone! I'm Mt. Lady and you don't have to worry about villains when I'm around." The quite literally thick woman announced to the crowd. Most of the men of the audience quickly took pictures while muttering to themselves.

"Gigantifcation huh? Well, she definitely got the looks and attitude to be a crowd favorite and her quirk is very showy but it'll be kinda hard for her to get around much in the city without damaging lots of things. That means she might not be very useful-" Izuku muttered to himself as he wrote what he was saying down on in his notebook quite seriously.

"What's that, fanboy? You taking notes over there? Wanna be a hero huh?" the weird-shaped head man questioned.

"Ah! Yes! More than anything!" Izuku said proudly with a smile.

That's what he wanted since pre-school. The heroes in this situation just demonstrated why he wanted to become one. Backdraft demonstrated keeping the people safe, Death Arms demonstrated saving them from the debris, Kamui Woods demonstrated taking on a villain without fear, and Mt. Lady demonstrated defeating evil with a smile on her face.

To Izuku, nothing could be better then doing at least one of those things on a daily basis. As the crowd dispersed and the heroes and the police apprehend the villain Izuku finished his notes and tucked it into his backpack he confidently walked to school like nothing could bring him down.

"Sooo, as third year students, it's time to think about your futures and what to do with your lives. I could pass out your career aptitude tests but why bother we all know you all want to go to the hero track." the classroom's teacher began as he threw the papers in the air to excite his students.

And it seemed to work as the entire classroom lit up with each student activating their quirks in excitement. One had a rock hand, another had shark teeth, a couple students had wind quirks, bend their hands to any shape of their will, or even breathe fire. Every student in the classroom had a power that can get them somewhere in the world and it showed when they pumped their hands up into the air with smiles on their faces.

Besides Izuku who just lifted up his hand and look to the ground in defeat. This was how it always was for him. Through Elementary as the years went by less and less of his classmates would play or talk to him since they gotten their quirks and wanted to go play with the other children who had quirks and not some quirkless loser who really couldn't do anything cool or interesting besides talk about heroes and write down notes about them. Now in Aldera Junior High where literally everyone had a quirk besides him he never felt like more of an outsider.

"Yes, yes you got some very impressive quirks but no power usage allowed in school. Get a hold of yourselves." the teacher stated, going back to his strict and professional attitude.

"Hey teach, don't let me in with these bunch of losers. I'm the real deal but these guys will be lucking to be a sidekick to some busted D lister." a blonde student stated with laying legs on his desk like and bending his chair to lift his body up like he practically owned the place. And this boy was Bakugo Katsuki. "HA!"

"You think you're better than us, Katsuki?!" one of students yelled out angrily.

"Let's go," he said laughing, not even taking his classmates retorts seriously. "I'll take all you on."

"Huh." the teacher said bluntly, reading his test results paper."You got an impressive test result. Maybe you will get into UA High."

Izuku sighed as buried his face on his desk. Of course he would want to go to UA. And of course he would easily get in where he would make Izuku's life a living Hell for even longer.

"He's gonna try for the national school?" a student asked in shock.

"That school has a 2% acceptance rate!" one yelled out loud.

"It's impossible to get into." another mumbled.

"That's exactly why it's the only place worthy of me. I aced all the mock tests, I'm the only one at this school who stands more of a chance of getting in. I'll end up more popular than All Might himself and be the richest hero of all time. The people all across the world will know who I am and it all starts with UA High." Bakugo literally jumped on his desk and announced with a smug smile on his face.

"Oh yeah, Midoriya, don't you want to go to UA too?" the teacher said out loud as if he was disappointed.

There was pause of silence for a few moments as he everyone turned their heads to look at him.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" the entire classroom laughed at him.

"Huh?!" Izuku managed to say as he looked around in embarrassment.

Why would the teacher announce that out loud. He knew how they the rest of the classroom would react.

"Midoriya, you're kidding right?" one of his classmates laughed.

"There is no way you're getting into the hero course without a quirk!" another yelled excitedly.

"Uh, actually they got rid of that rule." Izuku quickly defended himself standing up. "I can be the first one."

"AARRGH!" Bakugo yelled as he created a small explosion on Izuku's desk, strong enough to knock him to the ground. "Listen up, Deku. You're even worse than these damn rejects, you quirkless wannabe. You really think they'll let someone like you in when they can have me?!"

"Huh?!" Izuku stuttered as he crawled up against the wall, shaking in fear with a fake smile on his face. Katsuki was being more aggressive than usual today. "No way, you got it all wrong, really. I'm not trying to compete against you. You gotta believe me. It's just that I wanted to be a hero since I was little. I may not have a quirk but can still try my hardest, can I?"

"You'll never be able to hang with the best of the best, you'll die in the exams, defenseless Deku. The school's already crappy. You really want to embarrass it more by failing so hard?" Katsuki sneered angrily as his palms smoked.

This was the hard truth that Izuku has heard again and again. He was a quirkless kid. That doesn't get you much opportunities in this world. With 80% of the world's population having superpowers who gives a crap about the other 20% who don't? People with certain quirks can get good jobs. Like if your quirk is good with technology you could create phones or cars. Or if your quirk gives you x-ray abilities you could become a doctor. And even if you have a quirk that isn't much like a dog-like quirk giving you the ability to sniff a trail that could lead to a criminal's location or a quirk that even let transform into an animal, just one animal like a guinea pig could offer some uses like being in the background of a mob meeting and hearing everything what they're saying.

But alas, Izuku was quirkless. After he graduates high school there won't be a lot of people even willing to hire him due to his "disability" despite his high test scores and IQ. If Izuku tried to become a doctor they would likely turn him down because he didn't have a quirk. If he tried to become a contractor people wouldn't hire him because he didn't have a quirk. If he tried to become a lawyer or even a cop, people wouldn't hire him because he was quirkless. They would take a good look at fact and automatically think of it as a disability even he graduated top of his class and hire someone else who failed high school because they had a qurik therefore that person has value. Due to his "disability" Izuku is most likely to work as a garbageman or fast food-worker all because he can't make himself shine or something.

But Izuku just didn't accept these facts. Ever since he was 4 he wanted to become a hero and always believed he become one. He always believed if he worked out hard enough or studied hard enough they would let him into UA and give him time to shine. But he never did workout. He just wrote down facts about heroes he would see in person. Perhaps as a way to cope with everyone, even his own mother not thinking he can become a hero.

After things calmed down from everyone laughing at Izuku and Katsuki going as far as knocking him down from his desk, making him quiver in fear, and saying he won't accomplish much in his life the teacher did nothing about his outburst and just resumed class as normal. Izuku didn't pay this much mind as he dealt with this stuff since the 4th grade and he didn't want his mother to worry about him so he never went to the headmaster to report Katuski's actions (not that the headmaster would do anything about it).

As the bell ring and class was dismissed, Izuku looked at his phone and looked at the recent hero activity. He smiled. Heroes saving always made him feel better. As he was stuffing his backpack Katsuki went up to his desk and grabbed his notebook from his hands and waving it in the air. Izuku gulped as he looked to see Bakugo looking very pissed at him.

"I don't know what you think you're doing, Deku, but we're not done." Katsuki said with a harsh tone.

"What you got? His diary?" one of his goons asked smugly.

"Uh..." Izuku didn't know how to respond.

Bakugo showed his goons the notebook.

"Huh?!" one the goons gasped. "Don't tell me you're taking notes on to be a hero?!"

"That's so pathetic." the other goon laughed.

"Haha. That's so delusional." the one from before said.

"Uh... real funny, guys. Just give it back." Izuku stated annoyed trying to get his notebook back.

But Bakugo didn't. Instead, he balled up his un-preoccupied hand and punched Izuku's notebook, a notebook he spent months working on, and burned it. Not burn it to ashes but burned it nonetheless.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" Izuku yelled.

That was at least 6 months of research possibly destroyed. All that hard work crapped on because Bakugo wanted to make him feel useless.

"That's so mean..." Izuku muttered.

But that wasn't it. Bakugo then carelessly tossed the notebook out the window without looking back.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Izuku yelled on the top of his lungs and shaking uncontrollably.

Bakugo was starting to go far even by his standards. Usually he would verbally abuse Izuku and sometimes leave a bruise or two on him. But he never destroyed something Izuku worked on before, especially so carelessly. Wanting to get into UA must've pissed off Bakugo to a new level. He always wanted to be on top and Izuku always disgusted him. Bakugo is a huge believer on those with powerful quirks getting respected (even though he won't ever admit it, he always respected All Might for being the number one hero) and Izuku, a person without a quirk and wanting to become a hero is a total rejection to his philosophy which just angers him and led him to abuse Izuku for years.

"Hum. Most first string heroes show potential early on. People look at them and just know they're destined for greatness. When I'm the only student from this garbage junior high to get into UA, people will start talking about me like that. They'll realize I'm legit, the next big thing. That's my ego talking but I just know I'm good." Katuski stated with a huge smug smile on his face.

"Ego..." one of his goons muttered.

Usually, Katsuki would yell at his goons saying he had an ego. But his disgust and hatred for Izuku was so great that he decided to ignore it. Instead, he put one of his hands on Izuku's shoulder slightly burning it as smoke started to appear as he look Izuku straight into the eye which led to Izuku to stop his shaking.

"Here's a word of advice, nerd. Don't even think of applying or else." Bakugo said with the smuggest smile Izuku has ever seen in his life.

"Uh-uh-UH-UH-HUH-UH!" Izuku was speechless. His hard work was carelessly burnt and tossed aside and was talked down to. Usually people would stand up to stuff like this, but Izuku couldn't. He just couldn't. Instead he just stood there and took in the events that just transpired.

"That's just sad. I thought you would have at least some fight in you." one of the goons chuckled, as he, Bakugo, and the other goon walked out the classroom.

But before Katsuki opened the door to leave, he decided that he had one last piece of advice for Izuku.

"You know if you really want to be a hero that badly, there's actually another way. Just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof of the building." Katsuki states arrogantly with a smug smile on his face.

That was it. That was too far. Izuku couldn't take that. If he was going to be a hero he needs to start standing up for himself. He turned around and-

"Something wrong?" Bakugo eyed him igniting small explosions from the palm of his hand like it was nothing.

Izuku said and did nothing as he just stood there and shivered in fear.

After Bakugo and his goons left class Izuku stayed standing there for at least ten minutes. He didn't know weather it was to make sure that they were gone or he was still shaking off the fear but eventually he sighed and walked out of class in defeat. He didn't know if he would ever stand up to Bakugo. And if he couldn't stand up to Bakugo then how could he become a hero? Izuku quickly shoved down those thoughts as he made his way out the school solemnly. It was quite easy to do since he's been shoving them down for years.

But this time it just stuck with him.

"That idiot," Izuku thought grimly as he walked in the courtyard looking for the remains of his notebook. "You can't go around telling people to go kill themselves. What if I really jumped? What will he do then?"

Izuku found the burnt remains of his notebook in a pond trying to get eaten by fish.

"Uh? My dreams have turned into fish food. That's enough, give it back. Damn it. Stupid jerk."

As Izuku put the soggy notebook in his backpack he began to question why he wanted to become a hero in the first place. What inspires him everyday to save people? Well it started when he was four years old...

"Mom, hurry!" a 4-year-old Izuku yelled jumping up and down. "Come on, Mom, it's computer time!"

"Already?" a younger, more skinny Inko asked while finishing the dishes.

"Faster! Let's go!" Izuku yelled excitedly as he ran towards his room.

Izuku excitedly shook back and fourth with his favorite action figure in his hand while sitting on his chair.

"Geez, I think you added ten thousand views to this one yourself, Izuku. I don't know why you like it. I think it's scary." Inko cooed as she turned the video on for her son.

"HUUUUUUUM!" Izuku focused in on the video as he made unrecognizable noises.

The video he loved was an old one. Disaster footage from a long time ago but more importantly, it was the debut of the greatest hero the world has ever known.

The footage was shaky as it showed an accident at an industrial building and hundreds of people were surrounded by fire and collateral damage. But they were more in shock than they were in fear.

"Who is he?! The guy started saving a hundred people at less and it hasn't even been 10 minutes. This... this is crazy! I can't believe it..." a citizen in the video said not even knowing what he witnessing.

"Haaaaaaa!-" Izuku jumped up and down on his seat in excitement.

Just then a huge figure appeared and the video instantly zoomed in on him walking on a fallen train as the figure carried as many bodies as he could.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" a loud and heroic could be heard from the huge figure.

"LOOK AND HE GOT MORE!" a citizen yelled in the video.

Izuku's eyes shined as witnessed the man save innocent people from death with a smile on his face.

"HAHAHAHAHA! Fear not, citizen! Help has arrived!" the large and heroic voice of the man yelled out.

The man had spiky yellow hair and were a mainly blue costume with streaks of red and white and a yellow belt.

"Hmmmm..." the excitement could barely hold in Izuku's voice as his smile grew bigger.

"Because I am here!" the video then revealed a big man carrying countless unconscious citizens in his arms and shoulders.

The man in the video smile's grew bigger as well. The thing was is that this was no ordinary man. This was All Might. The Number One Hero. The Symbol of Peace. And was considered this for many, many reasons.

"Hmargh~ He's the coolest in the universe! And once I get my quirk, I'm gonna be a hero just like him!" Izuku stated proudly with a smile on his face and pumping his All Might action figure in the air.

All Might is the perfect hero. Strong, heroic, inspiring, can defeat evil with a single punch, puts innocent lives before his own, and most of all, does it with a smile on his face. To Izuku, All Might was literally the most perfect being in existence. All Might is what truly inspires him to become a hero and Izuku dreams to be just like him.

But alas, not every dream is meant to be.

"Sorry, kid, it's not gonna happen." the professional quirk doctor stated bluntly.

"Argh?!" Izuku made another un-intelligent noise as he dropped his favorite All Might action figure.

Usually around his age kids show early signs of their quirks but so far Izuku showed none so Inko decided to take him to the doctors one day and test him only to discover that he didn't have one.

"Oh dear... so you really think there's something wrong then? Most of the other kindergartners in his class begun to show signs already." Inko asked, with dear and dread filling up inside her and could be heard in her voice.

"My record says you're a fourth-generation quirk-user. What power do you and the boy's father have?" the doctor asked.

"Nothing too special. I can float small objects towards me and my husband breathes fire. Their useful enough, I suppose." Inko stated as she used her quirk to retrieve Izuku's toy.

"Izuku should have already manifested one of these quirks or a combination of both but after viewing his X-rays, I don't he's going to. You see, when superpower first began appearing, there are many research studies conducted and doctors discovered a link between bone and a person's foot and they're likely hood of developing a quirk. People with powers have only one joint on their pinky toes. Their bodies have evolved into a more stream-like version of the human form. You can see here that Izuku has two joints in his pinky, like, roughly 20% of the population these days. Based on the research that's available, it's safe to say your son isn't going to develop a quirk." the doctor explained in an emotionless voice.

Izuku was silent as could be after getting this news. The young boy just couldn't believe that he was quirkless. He couldn't believe that he was destined to become a nobody. When mother and son got back home he watched that video again and again. He needed hope and reassurance that he could become a hero. He needed reassurance that even though he was quirkless he could still make a difference and save lives. He kept rewatching the video even after it got dark. He didn't even turn on the light in his own room. Inko with worry and dread eating her up inside walked in her son's room to see him just sitting there in the dark with the only light being Izuku's only hope.

"See that Mom, there's always a smile on his face no matter how bad things get. Even when things seems impossible, he never gives up." Izuku said with his voice breaking.

He then turned the chair around to face his mother for comfort. So she could look into his eyes and tell him that he can be a hero like All Might.

"Do you think... I can be a hero too?" Izuku asked with a forced smile with tears just falling from his eyes like rain.

But she didn't. Instead, she just slumped down and hugged her young quirkless son that she loved with all her heart and cried as silently as she could.

"I'm sorry, Izuku, I'm so so sorry." She cried as she hugged me harder. "I wish things were different..."

"I made a decision that day. No matter what anyone else thinks, I have to believe in myself and I'll keep smiling just like him!" Izuku thought to himself as he clinched his fist and even cried a little.

Petals covered the streets as Izuku silently walked home. Today... was more brutal than normal. Katsuki's bullying was definitely harsher and the class laughing at him hurt even more but what was the worst is that the teacher didn't do anything! Was he really so worthless that he was qurikless? Is he not meant for more than life than just become collateral damage one day? Today was so bad that even witnessing that villain getting taken down made him feel better.

...Could really become a hero without a quirk?

Izuku continued to ponder these questions as he walked under a bridge. Now normally he wouldn't have walked under this bridge but after today he needed a little time to himself and clear his head.

"URGH!" Izuku gasped as... slime began to cover him?!

A villain on the run lay under this bridge. But was no ordinary villain. This villain was entirely made up of slime. A sentient, psychopathic piece of slime.

"HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAH!" the slime villain laughed as suffered the young boy to death

"Urgh... uRgH... a VILLAIN?! Urgh..." Izuku's mind raced as he immediately tried to claw free but to no avail. The slime was wet, slippery, and just wanted wouldn't move.

"You'll make a perfect skinsuit for hiding, kid." the slime monsters says.

Izuku began to cry. Was this it? Was this to show that he was truly a nobody meant to die from collateral damage? Izuku's heart pumped faster as he tried to claw out the slime. NO! He wouldn't die today! He would become a hero like All Might!

"Don't worry, I'm just taking over your body. It'll be easier for both of us if you don't fight back. It will only hurt for a minute. You'll feel better soon." the slime monster announced smugly as he literally strangled the young teenage boy to death.

"I... can't breathe." Izuku thought to himself as he struggled less and less and even started to black out.

No! He would escape and report the slime monster to the authorities!

"Grab all you want, my body's made out of fluid. Thanks for the help. You're the hero to me, kid. I didn't know he was in the city. I gotta get out of here as fast before he tracks me down." the slime villain explains smugly as Izuku finally stops struggling.

"My body...getting weak. I... I...think I'm dying. No way... this can't be the end. Somebody... Help..." Izuku thought to himself as he started to feel like he was going to die.

And a part of him was okay with it... maybe now he wouldn't have to deal with the uncertainties of life. Maybe now he wouldn't be tortured by Katsuki everyday. Maybe now he could die with his mother not having such a disappointment of a son anymore. Izuku eventually blacked out, okay that this was his final day on Earth.

...But it wasn't.

"Hey... wake up...HEY!" a buff, loud, and... heroic voice practically yelled as he repeatably kept gently slapping Izuku. The quirkless boy moaned. "Uh! Thought we lost you there."

"Ugghhh..." Izuku moaned. He didn't really want to wake up right now but when he peaked his eyes open they instantly busted open in disbelief. "Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!"

"Well, looks like you're moving around all right. Sorry about that back there. I didn't mean to make get caught up on my justice-ing. Usually, I pay more attention to keeping bystanders safe. But it turns out the sewer systems is pretty difficult to navigate HAHA!" said All Might himself. In person. Standing right in front of him.

"Ah...ah...ah...ah...ah...ah..." Izuku failed to come up with words. All Might saved his life and is currently right in front of him. The Number One Hero. The Symbol of Peace. The hero that he looks up to and admires most. The hero that he worships as his entire room is basically a shrine for him.

Izuku didn't know if he was dreaming or not. An if he was, he never wanted to wake up and return to his painful reality.

"Anyway, you were a big help, thank you. I've captured the evildoer." All Might proudly announced as he held up a soda bottle with the Slime Villain crammed in it. He did not look like he was enjoying being crammed in a plastic bottle at all. In fact, he looked to be pain.

Izuku's heart felt a tiny bit pleased by this fact.

"Holy crap. I gotta get an autograph. I gotta have a pen around here somewhere. Ha! Please, sign my notebook." Izuku says out loud, scrambling to find his notebook only to open it up and find out he already the Symbol of Peace's autograph.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAA! Thank you so much! This will be a heirloom, a family treasure, back for generations to come. Ahahahaahaha." Izuku proudly states as he repeatedly bows to the man he worshiped for his entire life.

"Welp, I gotta take this guy to the police so they can take care of him. Stay out of trouble. See you around." All Might said as he begun to walk away.

"Wait, you're leaving?! Already?!" Izuku cried.

"Heroes are constantly fighting time as well as enemies." All Might stated bluntly.

"He can't go yet. There's still so many questions I have to ask him." Izuku thought to himself. He had to know. Today was absolutely one of the worst days of his entire life and that's saying something. There was no way that meeting All Might, his favorite hero and idol, wasn't a coincidence for the day he was having. At this points Izuku practically needs All Might telling him he can be a hero without having a quirk. He already accepted death for Christ's sake. Because if his idol doesn't tell him that... then Izuku wouldn't know what to do next.

"Now stand back! I'm taking off." All Might announced before crouching. "Thanks for your continuous support."

"Haa?" Izuku made another confused noise.

Wait not now. He can't leave now. There was no way he can leave now without telling Izuku he can become a hero even though he's quirkless.

As All Might was building up energy to jump off into another area of the city, Izuku's mind raced. His favorite hero was about to leave without answering his question in only seconds.

Now normally Izuku wouldn't have done something like this, but since he was having the worst day of his life and All Might was his favorite hero he was willing to execute this deadly idea.

Only to immediately regret it.

"AaHAahAHAHahahHHAhAhAaH!" Izuku cried out as he found himself questioning what he was doing.

All Might turned his head to see Izuku.

"Hey, hey, hey! What do you think you're doing?! Let go! I love my fans but this is too much!" All Might says rather annoyed and worried.

"NO WAY! I'M FLYING! IF I LET GO NOW I'LL DIE!" Izuku yells out, holding on to All Might's leg for dear life and not wanting to fall down and go splat.

"OH!" All Might realizes. "That's a good point..."

"I HAVE A LOT OF THINGS I WANTED TO ASK YOU PERSONALLY! YOU'RE MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE HERO, ALL MIGHT!" Izuku explained, with wind blowing into his face.

"Okay, okay! I get it! Just keeps your eyes and mouth shut!" the Number One Hero hastily said.

In a matter of seconds the Number One Hero landed on a building. Izuku instantly let go and shook. He just... risked his life. He never did something like that before in his entire life. And it was horrifying. Utterly horrifying. He didn't have a quirk so he could've died instantly. But did he regret it? At first yes, but now, he's about to find out...

"My whole life just flashed before my eyes..." Izuku muttered as he took a few seconds to recompose himself.

"Not a very smart move." All Might said in a disappointed tone. "Bang on the door for awhile, someone will let you in. Now I have to go, see you on the flip side."

"Wait, not yet!" Izuku pleaded. "One second."

He just risked his fucking life for an answer for this question and he was not going to just not let All Might leave without answering it.

"No, I don't have any time." All Might said annoyed.

"Wait, I HAVE TO KNOW!" Izuku cried.

All Might stopped dead in his tracks. Now was his time.

"Sometimes, I do feel like a failure. Like there's no hope for me. But even so, I'm not gonna give it up, ever." Izuku stated with a defeated voice. Everyone doubts that he can become a hero. His teachers call him out for it, his classmates berate him for it, Katsuki gives him daily reminders that he can't become a hero, hell, even his own fucking mother doesn't believe he can become a hero. He needs All Might to tell him that he can become a hero.

"Is it possible to become a hero even if I don't have a quirk? I'm a normal kid without any powers." Izuku confessed, basically pouring his heart out to the person he admired most in the world. The man who inspires him to want become a hero. The man who inspires him to simply hope to become a hero.

"Could I ever hope to become someone like you?" Izuku finally asks. He needs to know.

Izuku looks back up to see... a skinny and frail blonde man with smoke all around him looking back at Izuku with a defeated look.

...What?

"UAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaa! Ha... I... wait... who... what happened? You're deflated." Izuku's mind went blank.

What... was this? Who was this skinny person? Where was the muscly Number One Hero with the deep voice giving hope to the world?

"Ha... where did All Might go? You... you're not him. You're a fake, an impostor." Izuku managed to stutter out.

There was no way this skinny and frail looking man was All Might! The big muscly man with the heroic smile and voice! The Symbol of Peace!

"I assure you, I am All Mi-uaaah!" the skinny man try to say before coughing up blood.

"UAAAAAAAAAAAAA! IMPOSSIBLE!" Izuku yelled out in terror taking this information.

N-no... there was no way this was All Might.

"You know how guys at the pool are always sucking in and flexing to try to hold their buff?" the skin... All Might asked with a dead serious tone and a face that was pale as a ghost. "I'm like that."

"THIS CAN'T BE REAL! No... I'm dreaming... All Might is of a giant man who saves everyone, he defeats all obstacles and wins the day with a fearless smile." Izuku stated clearly in denial.

"Huuu..." All Might moaned out. "There's plenty of fear behind that smile. I'm counting on you to keep your mouth shut. Don't go talking about this online or telling your friends."

He lifted up his pale white shirt that was clearly to big for his small and frail body to reveal a nasty wound. Or rather a hole. One that seemed to have had surgery and stitched up countless times.

"Pretty gross, right? I got this from a big fight five years back. My respiratory system was basically destroyed. I lost my whole stomach. All the surgeries have pretty much worn me out and it can't be fixed. Right now, I can only do hero work for about three hours a day. The rest of the time, this is what I look like." All Might explained in a grim voice.

But his explanation seems to work as Izuku finally accepts that this weak and frail man is indeed All Might, the Symbol of Peace, his personal favorite hero.

"No way... five years ago? So does that mean it was the fight with Toxic Chainsaw?" Izuku asked with genuine curiosity and a hint of excitement.

"Wow, you know your stuff, but no. The punk may have landed some hits but he couldn't bring me down. Most of the world has never heard of this fight. I did everything I could to keep it under wraps. I'm supposed to be the guy who smiles all the time, right? I'm the Symbol of Peace, people everywhere have to think that I'm never afraid. But honestly, I smile to hide the fear inside. It's just a brave face I put on when the pressure is high. This job isn't easy." All Might continued to explain grimly and almost defeated tone.

Just then All Might looked Izuku straight into the eye.

"Pro-heroes are always having to risk their lives. Some villains just can't be beaten without powers. So no, I honestly don't think you can become a hero without a quirk." All Might answered with a blunt tone and serious face.

That was it. That was All Might's answer that Izuku risked his life for.

"I-I see." Izuku nodded, taking his idol's answer in.

"If you want to help people, there's plenty of other ways to do it. You can become a police officer. They get crap because heroes capture most of the villains, but it's a fine profession. It's not bad to have a dream, young man, just... make sure your dreams are obtainable, realistic, understand?" All Might carefully words as he walks away.

Clearly he does not want to hurt Izuku's self-esteem but at the same time he needs to be realistic. And Izuku perfectly understands this. Though it doesn't the make the pain hurt any less.

"Now let's get you to the station." All Might said, patting the slime villain still stuck in the bottle as he opened the door and left Izuku on the roof.

Izuku just stood there, motionless for the next hour or so taking in the events that just transpired today in. It all started with a nice breakfast with his mother to witnessing a villain getting taken down by villains only to get called out by his own teacher who basically ignores him getting bullied, laughed and mocked by his peers, was berated, threatened, nearly destroys his notebook, and told to go fucking kill himself by his childhood friend that savors from basically torturing every day of his goddamn life.

"You know if you really want to be a hero that badly, there's actually another way. Just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof of the building." Bakugo's words echoed in his head.

Izuku looks at the railing and thinks about killing himself. What does he have to lose? What does he have to contribute to society? Nothing. Absolutely fucking nothing at all. Would people miss him? His mother would of course be heartbroken but everyone else would most likely shrug, All Might would probably not even hear about it as he has his own problems to worry about, and Bakugo would just laugh his fucking ass off. He stood on the railings and looked down on the street where the people just walked and minded their own business, not even knowing that a fourteen-year-old boy could be dead the sidewalk with blood staining the pavement. But he was qurikless so why the fuck would they care? They would just forget about him in a week. But if he had a quirk they would be all scared for life. His entire body was shaking once again. He could end himself right here, right now.

But he couldn't. His mother would be heartbroken and likely attempt to end her own life. Izuku knew that he was her motivation in life and he couldn't take that away from her. He loved her too fucking much. Slowly he jumped back on the roof and just stood there taking in the fact that he just tried to end himself. He was still shaking with tears streaming down his face but he wiped his tears away and forced himself to stop shaking. He needed to let it all out but not here where he just attempted to end himself. He needed to get home. It was his only place where could just let it all out. He picked up his notebook that was miraculously with him for this entire day, burnt and dirty, and made his way to the door. He slowly walked down the steps and made his way out of the building. When he walked on the streets he kept his head down as he walked slowly to his house. The fellow citizens of society paid him no mind. He didn't know weather to be thankful or depressed of that fact.

But a citizen ended up noticing him when Izuku accidentally bumped into him as Izuku wasn't playing any attention to his surroundings at all and just staring at the ground dully, still taking in the day he just had.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" the man yelled angrily.

The man was wearing a black hoodie and seemed to have light blue hair.

"S-sorry..." Izuku muttered as he just kept walking.

The man noticed Izuku's depressed monotone and all frustration seemed to vanish. He even picked up the notebook.

"Hey! You drop your notebook!" the man yelled.

"K-keep it..." Izuku muttered low enough for only him to hear as he continued his walk home.

The man just shrugged at Izuku and looked the notebook he held in his hands.

"Hero Analysis for the Future..." the man said out loud.

Izuku continued to slowly walk home with his mind blank. He bumped into a few more citizens that told him to watch where he was going but he paid them no mind. They wouldn't give a shit if he jumped off that roof so why should he care he just bumped into them. Earlier today he would've apologized greatly but now he just didn't give a shit. About halfway through his journey his ears picked up something about a hero taking on a muscle-based villain and again, earlier today he would've ran with the citizens to see the fight and write down what he was seeing; basically fanboying the entire time, but now he just slowly walked forward as the citizens pushed passed him to see the fight nearly knocking him over in the process.

He finally made it to his house as the sun set. His mother wasn't at home because she was at work.

Good. She doesn't need to see him like this.

Izuku made his way to his room somberly. Walking into his room and locking the door he was then surrounded by all the All Might merchandise he collected over the years. Posters, action figures, comic books, bedsheets, shirts, hell even an alarm clock. Izuku cried loudly. This man who he practically worshiped his entire life and gave him hope and inspiration just destroyed his dream.

His entire life he felt meaningless. His classmates at school made fun of him because he was quirkless, his best friend at the age of 4 decided to make his life a living Hell, even his own mother didn't believe he could become a hero because he didn't have a quirk!

And now... and now the person he looked up to most just fucking destroyed his dream.

"FUCK!" Izuku yelled loudly, not caring if anyone heard him. "FUCK KACCHAN! FUCK MOM! FUCK ALL-MIGHT!"

He the proceed to destroy everything All Might related in his room. He ripped his posters from the walls, threw his action figures on the ground breaking them instantly, ripped his comics apart, and even smashed the clock into the wall, all while crying and repeatedly saying "fuck" very loudly.

After he had his tantrum he laid on his bed breathing heavily not caring that he destroyed his own room. If the him of yesterday saw this he would be shicked beyond belief but now... now he didn't even care anymore.

His dream of becoming a hero was dead. If everyone in the whole damn world didn't believe he was going to become a hero then why should he try?

He began to cry again when he remembered what his teacher asked the class today.

"It's time to think about your futures and what to do with your lives."

He sobbed loudly.

"What am I suppose to become now?" he thought to himself.

He cried again for the next hour before falling asleep.

I know that was mostly a retelling of the first episode but I though even the first episode was enough to show how messed Izuku's backstory and don't worry the story will become more original as it goes on. I still plan to do the USJ attack but after that it's all my own. I already started work on the first chapter and as the corona grips the world in fear I guess in order to distract myself from that fear I'm going to write a little bit more.

This is the Shadow Jedi, ending transmission and as always, May The Force Be With You.
