Welcome to the second book of my "Ashley Ketchum's Journey" series! I decided a long time ago to skip the Orange Saga, since it was an anime exclusive, so we're jumping straight to the Johto Saga. There will be new adventures with our favorite twins and their friends, and who knows what kind of new Pokémon they will meet and catch?
If you have any suggestions on what other Pokémon the group should catch, besides the ones they caught in the anime, let me know in the reviews, please.
This book is based on my gameplay of Pokémon HeartGold, so the Pokédex entries will be based on the Johto DS remakes.
The year in this saga is 2011.
Ash + Ashley: 11 years old
Misty: 13 years old
Brock: 17 years old
The chapter begins in an unknown individual's point of view.
Disclaimer: I do not own any Pokémon characters! I only own my OCs!
Chapter 1: Don't Touch That 'Dile
It was a long journey, but now I have finally made it to New Bark Town. I was one step closer to obtain the Pokémon I needed to achieve my goal. Living in the slums since I was a child, I've learned how to survive and train so I could move smoothly without leaving any tracks behind.
I made sure to act like one among the crowd and walked toward the Pokémon Lab of Professor Elm. I heard he was researching in studying Pokémon evolution, but was quite a clumsy man who easily gets distracted by his research. It worked just fine with me. It would just make things a lot easier for me to obtain the Starter Pokémon.
The map feature on my PokéGear showed me I was meters away from the laboratory. I glanced up and was met by a wall surrounding a large building that said "Pokémon Laboratory". I have arrived to my destination.
Instead of taking the front door, I swiftly jumped up to a tree and hid among the branches and leaves. I jumped from tree to tree until I landed safely on top of the roof of the laboratory. I bent down to make myself small and not catch unwanted eyes on me. I crawled over to a window of the roof and peeked inside. The laboratory was bright with lamps, meaning Professor Elm must be inside somewhere. I needed to be cautious to not get caught by him.
I grabbed a Poké Ball from the pocket of my jacket and held it up. "Come out", I called quietly.
The Poké Ball opened and released my partner who I've had by my side since I was six years old. "Sneasel!" he shrieked softly.
I quietly opened the window so Sneasel could sneak inside without making a single noise. We had already talked about the plan, so he knew what he had to do. I watched as Sneasel quickly hid in the shadows among the rows of bookshelves as Professor Elm appeared out of nowhere. I followed him with my eyes as he sat down by a desk and began studying something through a microscope. He never once looked up to check whether the window on the roof was open or closed.
I signaled to Sneasel to proceed with the infiltration. Sneasel saw my sign and nodded in response. Just as he was about to move, I heard a door open somewhere inside the laboratory. Sneasel froze and crawled back to the shadows. I couldn't see who the intruder was, but I knew I heard three different voices.
"Nurse Joy, is that you?" Professor Elm spoke up without looking away from the microscope. "Thanks for coming over on such short notice. I know we should've done this weeks ago, but I got caught up in my research project. Totodile is running around here in the lab, so it shouldn't be hard to find it."
So the Pokémon I was looking for was still here.
I heard those mysterious voices whisper to each other, but I couldn't hear what they said. Professor Elm did catch them talking, but he was still concentrating on his research. "Is there a problem, Nurse Joy?" he asked.
"Oh no! Not a single problem in the world!" the female voice, assuming it belonged to the New Bark Town's Nurse Joy, spoke up. "What would you like me to do?"
"We've already discussed about it over the phone", Professor Elm replied. "A complete check-up for Totodile."
I gritted my teeth silently as my hands clenched into fists. "Nurse Joy" was going to take Totodile to the Pokémon Center. That was going to ruin my plans!
"Ow-!" a weird voice yelped in pain, but that person became silent very fast before I heard another voice.
"Toto! Totodile toto!"
Yes. That was the Pokémon. Totodile!
"Oh, how silly of me!" "Nurse Joy" called out in a fake innocent voice. "How could've I forgotten about that? Well, I'll take Totodile with me to the Pokémon Center. I'll be back when the check-up is done!"
"Thanks, Nurse Joy", Professor Elm replied before a door opened and closed once again.
I growled in frustration at the development. Totodile was gone now, so I had to come up with a new plan. I had to follow those people who just took Totodile and take it from them. I signaled to Sneasel to grab Totodile's Poké Ball from a pedestal where three Poké Balls with emblems of the three types of grass, fire, and water. Sneasel snuck past the shelves without making a single sound. Professor Elm was still focused on his research so he never saw how Sneasel snatched the Poké Ball with the water drop emblem.
My partner swiftly jumped up on the furniture without making noise with his claws and managed to get up to the roof. I closed the window before turning to Sneasel. He held out Totodile's Poké Ball, which I grabbed and took a look at it.
The Poké Ball was useless without Totodile, so we had to hunt down those thieves who stole the Pokémon before me.
I pocketed the Poké Ball and moved the red bangs out of my eyes. "Let's go, Sneasel."
"Sneaseel!"
XXXXXXXXXX – Ashley's POV
Ash, Misty, Brock and I have made it to Johtonian soil and to our first destination; New Bark Town. It would've taken two weeks to get to Johto by foot, but we flew on Firered and Charizard's backs until we crossed the border and reached the outskirts of the town. In total, it had taken one week. Ash and I were both excited to participate in the next Pokémon League, so we had fast-traveled with our Pokémon and friends to start the new journey as quickly as possible.
"We're finally here!" Ash cheered after we had called back our Charizards. "Johto and New Bark Town, we've arrived!"
"Pika pika!" Pikachu cheered alongside my brother.
"Somebody sounds very excited", Misty giggled.
"Togeprii!" Togepi chirped happily.
"How can I not be excited, Misty?" Ash asked with a smile on his face. "We're starting a brand new journey. And I can't wait to see what Pokémon I'll catch and train for the Gym battles and the League."
I giggled softly at my brother while I called out my newest Pokémon; Cedric the Larvitar. Gary's sister, Daisy, had returned from Johto a while ago with a Pokémon Egg that hatched into this Larvitar. I was by the moment the egg hatched and the first thing Larvitar saw was me and that made me now both his mom and Trainer.
"Look, Cedric", I said as I held him in my arms so he could see the view. "This is our very first stop in Johto. Soon we're going to reach the first Gym and hopefully you'll be strong by then to have your very first Gym battle."
"Taaar!" Cedric chirped happily as he waved his tiny arms.
"Well, before you can challenge the Johtonian Gyms, you need to register at the Pokémon Center", Brock reminded us. "Only then are you authorized to challenge the Gym Leaders and earn badges."
"Right", Ash nodded before he got silent. "Umm… Did we have to pay a fee for the registration last time, Ashley?"
"No, it was free of charge", I shook my head.
"Lar?" Cedric tilted his head to the side.
"Oh, good", Ash sighed in relief. "I forgot about that part."
"Pika pi…"
"It's understandable because we've only participated in one League so far", I nodded.
"I don't blame you for forgetting that", Brock said before his cheeks turned red. "Let's go and ask Nurse Joy for help! I can't wait to see her beautiful smile!"
"Brock's at it again…", I sweat dropped.
Misty sighed before she face palmed. "Sometimes I just can't keep up with his antics", she muttered.
"Toge?"
"Larvi?"
"But Brock's right", Ash said. "Let's hurry to the Pokémon Center and register for the League!"
"Pika pika!"
XXXXXXXXXX
It didn't take long before we found the Pokémon Center. To Brock's disappointment, Nurse Joy was away and had left behind a video message for the visitors. She was away and promised to be back by 2 P.M. The time was already past that, so Brock assumed Nurse Joy was in danger, so he ran off leaving the rest of us in the dust.
Thankfully, we caught up to him outside when he realized he had no idea where Nurse Joy had gone off to. We decided to walk around New Bark Town and see if we could find clues of the nurse's whereabouts. It didn't take twenty minutes when we stumbled upon a large building that was locked down by the police. The police tape was around the big wall that surrounded the building, and it looked like the crime had been committed just a moment ago.
Brock found Officer Jenny and ran to her immediately with hearts in his eyes. "Hello, Officer Jenny! You shine brighter when you're in action!" he spoke like a love-struck Growlithe.
"Huh?" Officer Jenny looked very much confused by our friend's behavior.
Misty walked over and grabbed Brock by the ear before she pulled him away from the officer. "She'll shine less if you interrupt her work, Brock!" she told him.
"Owowow! Let go, Misty!" Brock yelled as he was dragged away.
Ash and I laughed sheepishly at the duo before we turned to Officer Jenny. "Sorry to interrupt your work, Officer Jenny, but what happened here?" my brother asked.
"Somebody stole one of Professor Elm's Pokémon just a couple of hours ago", Officer Jenny explained.
"Professor Elm…?" I mumbled as I remembered the name. "I think Professor Oak mentioned him a few times before when they were talking about research."
"Tar?"
"Somebody stole a Pokémon?!" Ash exclaimed in shock. "Do you have any clues who the thief could be?"
"We're still covering the grounds and collecting evidence", Officer Jenny replied. "Do you happen to know something?"
"We've just arrived to New Bark Town, but we have our own experience with thieves ambushing us", Ash explained.
Officer Jenny was just about to open her mouth when a cloud of dust covered us entirely. Something had run past us so fast it threw up dirt and sand around us. We coughed and fanned the dirty cloud away while trying to figure out what that fast object was.
"What was that?" Ash coughed.
"Kakaka!" Pikachu coughed the sand out of his mouth.
"Tatatar!" Cedric coughed as well.
"Brock, come back!" Misty yelled behind us.
"Was that fast thing Brock?" I asked in disbelief as I wiped my eyes clean from the dust.
"Yeah. He said he smelled Nurse Joy's perfume from the building", Misty said sheepishly.
"Prii!"
"What…?" I mumbled in disbelief.
"Great, now we've gotta drag him out of there", Ash cold sweated.
"Chu…"
"That'd be much appreciated, you three", Officer Jenny said. "I'll let my colleagues know about you, but make sure not to touch anything inside the lab, okay?"
"Yes, ma'am!"
We hurried inside the lab and found Brock with Nurse Joy and Professor Elm. I recognized him because I've seen him a couple of times on the video chat back in Professor Oak's laboratory whenever I read his books.
"Brock, leave them alone!" Misty called as she grabbed his arm. "You know you can't enter a crime scene like this."
"I needed to make sure that Nurse Joy is safe!" Brock argued.
"What's going on here?" Nurse Joy looked very confused.
"Sorry for barging in like this", Ash apologized. "Brock gets a little crazy when he thinks a pretty girl's in trouble."
"Pika pika…", Pikachu sighed.
"Oh…", Nurse Joy blushed a little before she shook the heat off her cheeks. "Well, that's nice of him, but we've got very great concerns."
"We heard from Officer Jenny that somebody stole a Pokémon", I spoke up.
"Larvitar!"
"Yes… And it's my fault", Professor Elm said sadly, obviously blaming himself. "I was so focused in my research I never looked up to check if it was Nurse Joy who came to get Totodile for an examination. And its Poké Ball is missing too."
"Totodile?" Ash, Misty, and Brock said confusedly.
"Totodile is one of the three Starter Pokémon you can choose from in the Johto region", I told them. "It's the water Starter Pokémon too."
"You seem to know a lot about Pokémon, miss", Professor Elm said before he picked up a Pokémon that had crawled to him. "I almost forgot to introduce myself. I'm Professor Elm. My research is about Pokémon abilities. When a new Trainer arrives, they can choose from Cyndaquil, the fire Starter…"
"Quilll!" Cyndaquil chirped in his arms.
"Chikorita, the grass Starter, which a new Trainer picked up the other day", Professor Elm picked up two pictures of both Chikorita and Totodile. "And Totodile, the water Starter."
"I still remember the day we got our first Pokémon, Ashley", Ash smiled. "I wanted to grab Squirtle, but Gary chose it before me, so I got Bulbasaur and you got Charmander, sis."
"Yep, and I don't regret my choice", I smiled with a soft giggle.
"If you picked those Starters, then I guess you come from Kanto?" Professor Elm asked.
"Yep! My sister and I are from Pallet Town", Ash explained.
"Pallet Town?!" Professor Elm exclaimed in surprise. "Then you must know Professor Samuel Oak!"
"Of course we know him", Ash nodded. "You're one of his colleagues, right?"
"Colleagues…?" Professor Elm mumbled before he got a serious expression. "I was his best student back when I was a young lad studying in the university! He's a brilliant researcher who I admire a lot, but now that I've become a Pokémon Professor myself, I strive to become the greatest professor and surpass him!"
In the middle of his tale, Nurse Joy gently took Cyndaquil out of his arms so the little Pokémon wouldn't accidently get hurt. Brock got lost in Professor Elm's story of his time as a student and as a researcher while the rest of us played with Cyndaquil. It was so cute just like any other Starter Pokémon. If I were a Trainer from Johto, I would obviously pick Cyndaquil.
"Professor Elm may sound like a hothead, but he's actually very sweet and raises wonderful Pokémon", Nurse Joy giggled. "I'm always looking forward to examine them before a Trainer arrives to pick their first Pokémon, but I wish he could pay a little more attention on human relationships."
Misty giggled as she appeared to understand the secret message behind the woman's words. "Sounds like you have your eyes set on Professor Elm, Nurse Joy", she said. "Brock's going to be disappointed when he finds that out."
"Yeah, but I'm sure he'll find someone someday", Ash nodded.
"Chu?"
I got a little lost in the conversation. What were they talking about? Did Misty try to say that Nurse Joy and Professor Elm were a couple? A couple like Mom and Dad? I still didn't understand the whole thing about couples.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot!" Ash snapped his fingers. "Nurse Joy, the reason we came looking for you was so my sister and I could register for the Johto League."
"Oh, that's right! I was supposed to get back by 2, but I lost track of time when I learned Totodile went missing", Nurse Joy said.
"I feel so sad for the new Trainer that's coming tomorrow to pick their Pokémon…", Misty mumbled sadly. "I hope Totodile is okay."
"I want to help you find Totodile and bring it back for the new Trainer!" Ash exclaimed determinedly.
"Pika pika!"
"Me too!" I nodded. "If the Trainer learns that Totodile's missing, they'll be very sad and I don't want them to feel that way."
"Tar!"
"I want to help too!" Misty added.
"Togeprii!"
"Everyone!" Officer Jenny called as she ran to us with a weird slate. "We found some suspicious footprints outside of the lab and copied them on this plaster cast. Do you perhaps recognize these, because you mentioned you've had encounters with thieves, right?"
The plaster cast showed three different footprints, but there was one that clearly stuck out. The foot of a Meowth's. That one was enough for me to figure out who the thieves were.
"Guys…", I turned to Ash and Misty. "I know who they could be."
"Me too, especially that Meowth footprint", Ash nodded.
"Pika…", Pikachu gritted his teeth in anger as sparks came out of his cheeks.
"Larvi?" Cedric looked confused because he hadn't encountered Team Rocket before.
"Don't tell me… It's Team Rocket?!" Misty gasped in realization.
"What about Team Rocket?" Brock spoke up as he and Professor Elm had finally joined us.
"Jessie, James and Meowth stole Totodile!" I told him.
"Those three?!" Brock gasped in shock. "I thought they've given up stalking us!"
"Apparently not", Misty cold sweated.
"We've got to hurry and find them before they leave the town!" Ash exclaimed determinedly.
XXXXXXXXXX – Normal POV
Luckily for the twins' group and Officer Jenny, Team Rocket still hadn't left New Bark Town because they were currently facing a big problem. They may have managed to steal Totodile, but the water-type Pokémon had bitten onto Jessie's long hair and refused to let go. No matter what they did, they couldn't get the Pokémon off, so they were hiding in a park while figuring out how to get Totodile off.
"Get this amphibian off of me already!" Jessie screeched as she swung her head around with Totodile still biting her hair.
"We've tried everything, Jessie!" Meowth sighed. "I even tried talking to Totodile, but he won't listen."
"Dododo!" Totodile laughed as he still had his mouth full of Jessie's hair.
"Well then, James, call out your Victreebel and have it get Totodile off me!" Jessie growled.
James cold sweated at the order. "B-But you might get hurt, Jessie", he stuttered.
"I don't care! I can't have this reptile on me all day long!" Jessie shouted angrily.
James hummed as he scratched the back of his head. He didn't want to hurt his comrade, but facing her wrath was worse than getting bitten by Victreebel. "Okay, if you say so…", he mumbled before he grabbed his Pokémon's Poké Ball.
Just before James could call out Victreebel, a beam of ice came out of nowhere and struck the male grunt of Team Rocket. He shrieked in surprise before he turned into a block of ice. Jessie and Meowth gasped in shock at the sight of their comrade being turned into ice.
"What was that?!" Jessie asked.
"That was an Ice Beam!" Meowth replied before he looked around. "But where'd that Ice Beam come from?!"
Jessie growled as she looked around as well. "Hey! Whoever froze James, step out right now or else we'll come at you with my Pokémon!" she threatened the offender.
The two of them looked around and tried locating the mysterious Pokémon that had just frozen James. The leaves up on a tree shook for a brief second before a second Ice Beam was launched. This time, Meowth was turned into ice.
Jessie shrieked in surprise before her mood rapidly changed into anger. "Alright, that's it!" she yelled as she grabbed a Poké Ball and threw it. "Arbok, use Poison Sting on that tree!"
"Shaaarbok!" Arbok hissed after it came out and then fired a shower of poisonous darts at the tree.
Two shadows swiftly jumped down from the tree before they could get hit by the Poison Sting attack and landed in the bushes.
"Got you!" Jessie shouted. "Arbok, use Wrap on whatever there is in those bushes!"
"Shaaar!"
A third Ice Beam shot out from the bushes and struck Arbok with such a force it got knocked back toward Jessie. Totodile noticed the beam and finally let go of Jessie's hair and jumped back before he could get hit by the move as well. Arbok crashed into Jessie and the two of them got froze into an ice block together.
Totodile walked over to the ice blocks with Team Rocket and just stared at them with slight sad eyes. He had actually enjoyed playing with Jessie's hair and now he couldn't do it. A shadow covered him from behind, so he turned around to see who it was. A boy in his late pre-teen stood behind Totodile with red hair and black clothes, and a Sneasel stood next to the boy.
"Toto?" Totodile tilted his head to the side.
The boy held up the Poké Ball with the water drop emblem with a poker face. "Return, Totodile", the unknown Trainer called.
Totodile didn't blink an eye when he was returned to his Poké Ball. The mysterious boy clicked the Poké Ball onto his belt as Sneasel noticed a group running to the park. "Sne sneasel!"
The boy looked over his shoulder and spotted Officer Jenny among the group of kids around his age. He knew it was obvious they were looking for Totodile, so he had to retreat and leave the mess to Team Rocket.
"Let's go, Sneasel", the boy said.
"Sneasel!" Sneasel nodded.
Just as fast as they had appeared, they ran away, but in the middle of the chaos, an I.D. card slipped out of the pocket on the boy's jacket and floated down to the ground, leaving one single piece of evidence of his identity.
XXXXXXXXXX – Ashley's POV
Officer Jenny's Growlithe picked up the scent of Team Rocket's footsteps and guided us to a park close to Professor Elm's laboratory. He and Nurse Joy stayed behind to wait for, hopefully, good news. As soon as we reached the park, we found three huge ice blocks with Team Rocket frozen inside of them, including Jessie's Arbok.
"It's them!" Ash exclaimed as he checked the ice blocks. "Team Rocket!"
"Piika!" Pikachu nodded.
"So these are the suspects?" Officer Jenny asked.
"Yes, but why are they frozen?" I wondered.
"Larvi?"
"Looks like they got into a battle", Misty suggested as she knocked on the thick ice block.
"Togi?"
"But I don't see Totodile with them", Brock pointed out. "We better get them out of the ice so they can tell us where they hid it."
"Absolutely!" Officer Jenny nodded. "Growlithe, use Flamethrower to melt the ice!"
"Grooowl!" Growlithe howled before breathing fire on the ice.
The ice melted fast and turned into a pool of water beneath Team Rocket's feet. Jessie crashed down to the ground with Arbok on top of her. James and Meowth shook by the cold and rubbed themselves to warm up.
"W-What in the name of Arcus was that?" James asked while his teeth chattered.
"A-A blasted Ice Beam… Achoo!" Meowth sneezed.
"Arbok, get off of me!" Jessie yelled as she pushed her Pokémon off her.
"You three!" Officer Jenny called out, which caught the trio's attention. "I'm placing you three under arrest for stealing Professor Elm's Totodile!"
"Officer Jenny?! And the twerps?!" Team Rocket exclaimed in surprise.
"How could you steal a Pokémon that a Trainer might pick tomorrow?!" Ash growled angrily. "That Trainer will be so sad to hear that Totodile got stolen! Doesn't your consciousness hurt when you think back when you got your first Pokémon?!"
"My consciousness hurt a little bit…", James mumbled before he got punched in the face by Jessie.
"Don't go all softie now because of the twerp's words!" the woman growled at him.
"Hey, Jessie! Totodile's no longer in your hair!" Meowth pointed out.
"Huh?" Jessie blinked before she checked her hair. "Ahhh! Where'd it go?!"
"You can tell us where you hid Totodile back at the station!" Officer Jenny shouted as she grabbed a pair of handcuffs from her pouch.
"We had Totodile with us the whole time until we got attacked by multiple Ice Beams!" Meowth exclaimed.
"You three got attacked?" Brock repeated in surprise.
"By who?" I asked.
"Like hell we know! They were hiding in the bushes!" Jessie retorted angrily.
James got up while he rubbed his sore face. "I didn't even see what it was…", he groaned in pain.
"Since we're now empty-handed you cannot arrest us!" Meowth taunted.
"You're still responsible of a crime you committed!" Officer Jenny yelled.
"Not anymore! Arbok, use Poison Sting!" Jessie shouted.
"Shaar-ar-ar-ar!" Arbok hissed as it fired darts toward us.
"Pikachu, block with Thunderbolt!" Ash yelled.
"Pika!" Pikachu screeched before he jumped off my brother's shoulder with his cheeks sparkling. "Pika…CHUUUU!"
The lightning bolt collided with the darts and forced an explosion of smoke out of it. Now it was my cue. "Firered, blow the smoke away!" I called as I threw his Poké Ball.
"RAWR!" Firered roared when he got out. He immediately flapped his wings and blew the smoke away, revealing Team Rocket that was running away from us.
"Come back immediately!" Officer Jenny yelled as she ran after them. "You're still under arrest!"
"Grooowl!" her Growlithe howled as it ran with its partner.
"Hurry, guys!" Ash shouted as he and Pikachu ran after Team Rocket as well. "We can't let them get away!"
"I'm right behind you, Ash!" Brock called while he ran after my brother.
"We better go too!" I told Misty.
"Yeah!" she nodded.
Togepi, however, had other plans. She jumped out of Misty's arms and landed onto the ground before she walked at the opposite direction. Misty, my Pokémon and I looked at her confusedly as she walked away.
"Togepi, where're you going?" Misty called before she ran after the baby Pokémon.
"Togi togi!"
Togepi sang happily before she suddenly stopped walking. She picked up something from the ground and held it up to Misty. Misty crouched down and picked up the item her Pokémon was holding. I looked over Misty's shoulder to see what it was.
"An I.D. card?" the water-type Trainer spoke out loud.
"Did somebody drop it?" I wondered.
"Rawr?"
"Larvitar?"
"I guess so", Misty replied before she handed the card to me.
I took the card and took a closer look. The picture of the individual was of a boy who looked he was around my age with red hair and black eyes that felt awfully familiar.
"Silver…", I read the name quietly before the gears in my head started working. "Wait… If Team Rocket lost Totodile, then… It's possible this person stole Totodile from them."
"I was just thinking about the same thing", Misty nodded. "But…why would he do that?"
"Good question…", I mumbled as I tried figuring out who this Silver boy reminded me of.
XXXXXXXXXX
Unfortunately, Team Rocket got away before Officer Jenny could arrest and interrogate them about Totodile's whereabouts. Misty and I did give her the dropped I.D. card so she could use it as evidence and try tracking down Silver and interrogate him about Totodile.
Professor Elm was devastated when he learned we didn't find Totodile, but he didn't blame us for failing the rescue mission. He was still worried about the Pokémon's wellbeing and hoped Officer Jenny and the police across the region would find Silver and retrieve Totodile.
Ash and I both had heavy hearts while we registered ourselves for the Johto League, but Misty, Brock and everyone else cheered us up and said there were some things we just couldn't change no matter how hard we try. I still felt terrible and had a hard time falling asleep that night when we stayed over at the Pokémon Center.
My brother and our friends and I went to Professor Elm's laboratory to apologize to him again and to the new Trainer who came to choose their first Pokémon. The Trainer didn't take it hard and ended up choosing Cyndaquil as their Starter Pokémon.
Ash and I promised Professor Elm to find Totodile and return it to him if we ever stumbled upon Silver. He thanked us beforehand and also wished us the best in the Johto League.
I now had two goals for this new journey; participate in the Johto League and find Silver so we could rescue Totodile.
With the winds of new beginnings blowing on our backs, Ash, Misty, Brock and I left New Bark Town to officially start our adventure in Johto.
