Chapter 1
The former generals of Maleficent stared, with growing dread as the various torches in the throne room began to burn with blue fire. A singular thought echoed through each of their minds 'HE's coming'. Suddenly a massive plume of blue fire erupted before them and from its flames did the HE in question appear. He was a tall blue-Gray skinned humanoid dressed in a long black robe with a Smokey base, and what was most eye catching was that his hair was a small blaze of blue flames. This was Hades' god of the Underworld, lord of the dead. "Hey guys" he said casually "did 'ya miss me?" he asked jokingly. "Hades" spluttered Hook in shock "you survived the fall of Disney" he said in disbelief. "Eh hello god remember" replied Hades sarcastically as he slowly descended the steps leading to the throne causing the four other villains to back away. "Why are you here?" asked La. "I heard about Yen-Sid's new charity project for messed up teenagers…the "power rangers"" he said using air quotes "and how old Malefey finally kicked the bucked" he laughed "leaving all the rest of the old gang trapped in essence form and even got some destroyed…not the I can't just bring them back or anything cause you know lord of the dead right here" he shrugged "and it also occurs to me the whole Disney Villain revolution thing you guys have got going on here and the plan to remake this world into a "villainous utopia" are now in need of a new leader" he said giving the four a wicked grin. Gaston narrowed his eyes and drew his sword "and just what makes you think we'll work for you?" he defiantly growled. Hades gave the hunter a bored look before simply pointing his index finger at him and shot a blue fire ball at him, sending Gaston right into the wall. "All hail lord Hades" Gaston croaked weakly. "All right" said Hades with a smile "knew you'd see it my way" he declared sitting on Maleficent's old throne. Hades extended his hand and summoned a dark essence…this one however resembled a ball of blue flame rather than dark light as before. Hades sent a blast of fire at the essence and when the smoke cleared standing before him was creature that was garbed in black armour and clutched a razor-sharp axe in its hand and was half man and half bull: The Minotaur. "All right big boy" said Hades "I think I'm gonna be calling you Toro and I want you to go into town and see just what this ranger team can do" he commanded as Toro raised his axe and let out a bellow of fury. In Madison, the Rangers had just finished school and were making their way through town. "What do you think spooked master Yen-Sid yesterday?" asked Melody. "I don't know" said Leo "it takes a lot to rattle him". Suddenly a thunderous bellow shattered the peace of the day as the Rangers saw right round the corner Toro tearing his way through main street. Instead of the Goblin warriors that the Rangers have become accustomed to battling the Minotaur was leading a squadron skeletal soldiers each armed with a short sword and shield. The teens exchanged looks before slowly backing away around the corner…and after a brief flash of light the Rangers leapt into the Monster's line of sight. Theo proceeded to grab Connor and began shaking him in the air "Toro, toro" he called. "What are you doing!" demanded Connor annoyed as Traci, Melody and Jessica giggled. "I saw this in a movie" explained Theo still shaking the Red Chaos Ranger around "trust me it'll get his attention" he insisted…and he was soon proven right as the Rangers quickly jumped apart from each other as Toro charged at them in full Speed. The Rangers soon found themselves divided as James, Traci, Connor and Jessica engaged the Skeletons, and Leo, Jack, Melody and Jessie fought Gaston, Hook, Facilier and La who had arrived on the scene. "You didn't think we'd be out of business with Maleficent gone did you?" Gaston mockingly asked as he and Leo once again clashed swords with one another. The other rangers soon paired of in their own duels Jack and Hook going knife on sword, Melody twirling her Trident over her head as Facilier raised his cane like a fencer's sword and Jessie and La clashing their respective Staffs against each other. Theo and Vanessa were tag teaming Toro; the monstrous bull proving to be more than enough for them both: separately matching Theo's strength with his own and Vanessa's harpoon with his axe. "Van I got an idea" said Theo quietly whispering it to her. "Let's do it" she grinned raising her harpoon "tentacle swing" she shouted summoning her tentacle construct letting it grab Theo swinging him into the air. "Crock-slam" Theo yelled as green aura encased him as he crashed down onto Toro. Toro let out an aggravated roar and raised his axe to attack the two Chaos Rangers when their two teammates…having defeated the Skeletons jumped past the two and struck him with their sword and mace. "Come on guys" said Traci as the Chaos Rangers weapons began to glow their respective colours. "Chaos fury" they cried as they each lunged and struck Toro before he finally exploded in a burst of blue flames. "Gah" Gaston growled "let's get out of here" as he and his cohorts made their escape. "He is not gonna be happy" said Facilier as they fled. Jessica frowned having overheard the voodoo doctor and was wondering who 'he' was. The villain soon returned to the Dark Fortress and relayed what happened to Hades…and where surprised when he just shrugged. "Eh I figured that may happen" he said "I sent Toro to check out what I'm dealing with not to destroy the Rangers" he explained before a dark smirk crossed his face. "And besides with what I've got planned" he chuckled to himself "losing one or two little monsters' is well worth it". The Rangers soon returned to the tower and saw Yen Sid looking quite troubled. "It is as I feared" he whispered gravely "Rangers the Minotaur and those undead soldiers could only have been summoned by one person" he explained as the mirror showed Hades in all his dark glory. "Hades Lord of the Underworld" Yen Sid explained "he was the one of the few villains to not follow Maleficent, but instead came close to conquering my world on his own, he commanded his own legion of monstrous creatures and now he has clearly added the survivors of Maleficent's army to his own" he said gravely "Rangers I fear the true battle may very well be upon us". The Rangers exchanged looks. "Then we keep fighting" said Leo. "And we never stop" said Jessica extending her hand as the others began to do the same. "Not until every lost hero is safe here and Gaston, Facilier and Hades get what's coming to them" said Connor as the Rangers each had their hands atop one another's before turning to Yen-Sid. The old wizard smiled and placed his own hand atop his students. "Power Rangers" they all cried exuberantly throwing their hands in the air.
