Synopsis:

Cultivating power when she enters Hogwarts, she sets out to become stronger than the Headmaster, Darker than the Dark Lord and achieve what no one else has yet. For Lilith, world domination wasn't out of hand, not when she was willing to delve into the darkest of magics in order to achieve her goals. First she must conquer Death, the realm of the Raven Queen, then she must conquer the Fae realm, the Hearth realm and lastly the mortal realm. Her ambition, to become the immortal empress that stands upon the spine of existence. So yes, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
How will Dumbledore respond to a Hero who delights in her ability to main and control, how will Lord Voldemort react to a rival vying for his throne, and how will the realms react to a power seeming from the gods themselves?
Act 1: The Raven Queen of Slytherin
Prologue:
1986
If you peer into the abyss for long enough, the abyss stares back at you. If you treat someone as a monster, then a monster they shall become.
This is a concept that Lilith has come to know very well. Ever since her understanding of the world around her, her relatives and their treatment of her compared to other girls and how their parents treated them. Lilith would often stare into the abyss created by Vernon and Petunia Dursley when they locked her in that horrid cupboard under the stairs with no light (Vernon having taken the single light bulb, because light was "too good" for her to experience at their cost).
As the Matron of Ravens, known also as Death, watched her last known optional bloodline suffer at the hands of horrible humans she knew that choosing the young girl would set off a potential reaction that could lead this realm to ruin or salvation. Neither bothered her, because she was the be all and end all. Ever since the three Peverell brothers invoked her name and demanded their boons, she had kept an eye on their bloodlines and claiming them for her own in one way or another. However, after many centuries the last of the bloodlines came down to just three individuals. Albus Dumbledore a long-removed descendant of Cadmus, who sought a stone to revive his lost love. Tom Marvolo Riddle, a crazed descendant who had cheated death which claimed Antioch, and lastly the babe Lilith Persephone Potter who had the strongest blood connection to Ignotius Peverell.
She dismissed the first two immediately as they both have their own ulterior motives and Tom Marvolo Riddle in particular was doing everything, he could avoid her, she was the Matron of Ravens and while her druidic title may have been lost, she was the one thing no being could evade forever. Lilith Potter however, a babe who is being abused by her only living relatives who should be treating her with love, she was the perfect candidate to choose as her champion. It was only a matter of time for the young girl's magic to mature enough for the Matron of Ravens to reach out and form a pact with her chosen champion.
As six-year-old Lilith Potter sat on her bed in the darkness of the cupboard, bruised after another beating and burns received from 'ruining' breakfast. She stared into the void of darkness wishing desperately for someone, anyone to save her.
"I hear you, child," a voice interrupted Lilith's musing, she looked around frantically for the voice as she shadows around her seemed to envelop and caress her with surprising warmth.
"Who are you?" She asked, her body shivering.
"I am the Matron of Ravens. I have been watching over you, waiting for you to be strong enough to hear me Lilith."
"Y-you've been watching? Then you saw…"
"Everything child, the humans you are with are the worst and I have reserved a special place for them once they greet me."
"C-can you save me?"
"I can… if you agree to be my champion. Become my avatar Lilith Persephone Potter, follow the path I carve for you in blood and magic, and in return, I will be by your side, I will care for you, I will grant you the power to protect yourself and yours so long as you remain mine."
"Do you promise to never leave me alone?"
"I do."
"I'll do it."
Chapter 1: The Girl-Who-Lived
1991, Summer Holidays
Minerva McGonagall looked down at the address the letter had on it for what appeared to be the tenth time. Was this address correct? She wasn't sure so she had volunteered to be the one doing this visit herself. How could she not when she was to be checking in on the Girl-Who-Lived, only daughter of two of her favourite students James Potter and Lily Evans.
Lilith Persephone Potter,
Room 5, Second level
Wool's Orphanage, London
Arriving at the place, it looked… eerily dark, and some parts were darker than others. She walked up to the front door and knocked, pausing to wait a few moments she heard footsteps approaching before a woman answered.
"Hello?" The old voice asked.
"Greetings, my name is Minerva McGonagall and I'm the deputy Headmistress of a boarding school in Scotland. I am looking for Lilith Potter," the name of the young girl flashed recognition into her eyes as the old lady turned fearful.
"W-what did she do now! We had no hand in it I swear!" The woman said.
"I am not here to reprimand or punish you or the girl. I am here because she has had her name down for our school since birth. Her parents organised it before their unfortunate passing," Minerva said, casting a silent cheering charm on the woman.
"Y-you're taking her away?"
"Just for the school year, she will still likely have to return after the school year for summer holidays. And even the few school breaks inbetween semesters if she wishes, but yes, she will be boarding with us in Scotland," Minerva replied, the door swung wide open.
"Excellent! She is upstairs, fifth door at the end of the corridor! Go! Go!" the matron said eagerly.
A perplexed Minerva ascended the stairs of the old orphanage to the second level. Again, the light seemed to flee the halls and the door at the end seemed particularly covered in shadows and darkness that had her shivering as she approached. Perhaps the orphanage just needed more funding to brighten the place up. She stopped at the decaying wooden door and hesitantly knocked.
"Come in," a soft voice spoke from within.
The girl inside the room was small and thin, slightly underweight with long auburn hair, emerald, green eyes turned to look at her, a face full of freckles on a pale complexion. Sitting on her windowsill was a large black Raven that appeared to be the size of the girl's head almost, and she was lazily running her fingers through its plumage to which Minerva swore the Raven cooed at the contact.
"Miss Potter?" She asked, the girl nodded and then a smile crept up on her face, something that looked morbid and out of place which completely threw Minerva off.
"Are… are you the one called Minnie?" The small hesitant voice asked, Minerva automatically felt a vein in her forehead pulse at that.
"How do you know that name?" Her voice came out sharper than intended.
"My mother, Lily Potter, writes about you a lot in her diaries. I think my father James mentions you a few times as well, plus I have a picture in Mum's diary, you look like her but… older," the girl said meekly, shrinking back in on herself and immediately Minerva felt guilty.
"I am Professor Minerva McGonagall; your parents were some of my favourite students. I've come here to give you this," she held out the delicate Hogwarts letter.
"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?" The girl paused before taking the letter into her own hands, she inspected it before delicately opening it eyes going wide as she read.
"Am I really going to be a student?" She asked after a few minutes of silence.
"If you want, Hogwarts will be your home for the next 7 years."
"I've never had a home, I'd like that," the girl responded.
"Excellent."
"Can I bring Hela?"
"Hela…?" Minerva's eyes went wide as Lilith gestured to the Raven who had taken residence on the girl's shoulder.
"Uh… normally students are only allowed an owl, rat or toad…" she shivered feeling the shadows in the room seeming extend and threaten to suffocate her.
"But we can make an exception as long as your uh… Raven is trained and behaves." Almost instantly the shadows receded, and Minerva found herself inhaling audibly, seeming relieved.
Pleasantries exchanged; Minerva promises she will return at the end of the week to take her to get her school supplies. The girl waves at her with a bright smile from her window as she departs.
Lilith turns to the Raven almost instantly after the professor departs as the shadows expand to encompass her room once again.
"You were right, mother, the meek girl act worked like a charm," Lilith mused as she relaxed on her bed, kicking her feet up.
"After so much time together, child, would you really doubt me?" The Matron of Raven's voice comes from the Raven as she sits watching over the girl.
"Of course, I wouldn't doubt you, mother, I just thought that whoever they send for me would be more… headstrong and I'd actually have to act," Lilith replied.
Diagon Alley wasn't like anything she had ever experienced before, but the odd looks and the way the shadows clung to her were familiar and calming, even as the large oaf who seemed oblivious to anything escorted her.
"We should head to Gringotts, wizarding bank. Your parents left you money in a vault," Hagrid said jovially, Lilith resisted the urge to roll her eyes, but she gently ran her fingers through the plumage of Hela as they walked. Sure, enough a young girl with a Raven garnered attention but she mostly ignored the stares. Hagrid had been sent by the headmaster instead of Minerva, she would have been upset if it wasn't for how simple minded, he seemed.
Gringotts turned out to be controlled by Goblins, creatures that looked grotesque and every bit the monstrosities that muggles depicted them as. Except for the fact they all wore formal tuxedo's and were doing math faster and more accurate than most humans could do.
"Lilith Potter here to access her vault," Hagrid said, the teller leaned over to peer at her before sitting back.
"Just a moment, someone will be with you soon," he replied with a sneer directed towards Hagrid.
A contingent of armed goblins approached them soon enough which caused everyone in the bank to pause, the guards stood to the side as an elder goblin approached.
"Miss Potter, I presume?" He said gruffly, Lilith politely curtseyed.
"Greetings Sir, I am Lilith Potter. Are we in trouble?" She asked concerned.
"Trouble? Perhaps, that depends on the questions I have to ask and how you answer them. Firstly, do you have your vault key?" He replied.
"Oh err… I have it here somewhere…" Hagrid reached into his various pockets searching, before letting out a small 'aha!' and producing the key.
"Excellent, very well Miss Potter, if you'll come with me," the goblin turned and Lilith followed, as Hagrid made to follow the guards closed and blocked him off.
"Only the girl, Half-Giant," the head guard sneered.
"Oh, err but Professor Dumbledore said - "he made to protest.
"It's fine Hagrid, I have my list, you can do what else you were here for. I can make my way back to the orphanage on my own," she said casually, voices started whispering throughout the entire bank.
"Oh, if you're sure then…" he stammered.
"I'm sure."
With that Lilith continued following the senior goblin with a guarded escort. The hallways of Gringotts bank was lined in gold and other precious materials. She looked around as they walked until eventually entering a room which the goblin pricked his finger on in order to activate, Lilith thought that was a neat mechanic. The goblin moved to the ornate desk and sat in the throne-like chair on one side while he gestured for Lilith to sit on the other chair opposite him.
"Seems like a lot of security you have just for one girl," Lilith commented as she sat down.
"One girl? Do you not truly know?" The goblin raised an eyebrow.
"Know what? I was only informed about being a Witch a few days ago. Before that I had no idea magic even existed, I've been in an orphanage for half of my life," Lilith replied.
"So, you never received a letter from us?"
"I haven't received a single thing whatsoever."
"Do you know what a magical guardian is?"
"I assume it's similar to the non-magic world's concept of a parent/guardian?"
"You are correct, a magical guardian acts in-loco-parentis if the actual parents are dead or unable to make informed decisions on their own for a magical child. You've never been aware of magic?"
"In loco whatis?"
"In-loco-parentis, that's beside the point. Tell me Miss Potter, does the name Albus Dumbledore mean anything to you?"
"Aside from appearing in my parents' diary a few times, he's the Headmaster of Hogwarts and leader of a group known as the Order of the Phoenix that was active during the conflict?"
"Is that all?"
"I mean, my parents described their thoughts on him as being a brilliant wizard and a trustworthy man. Why are you asking me about him?" Lilith was started to get irritated, and Hela was cooing softly in her ear calming her down, the goblin in the office and the guards outside had all felt the build up of magic around them and had been on edge.
"Sorry for not being blunt, but Albus Dumbledore was listed as your magical guardian as your godfather was unable to take you in, he's in Azkaban, that's a wizarding prison, for the murder of a friend of your parents' as well as 12 muggles," he explained.
"Oh… well I've never met this Albus Dumbledore, surely someone else would have been suitable for a magical guardian? Doesn't he oversee an entire school?"
"Amongst other duties, yes. I see things are starting to add up now, my apologies for treating you as I have. But now that we've established just why you're so uneducated about our world, I believe we can sort out these few problems."
"Yes, I would very much like that."
"Firstly, my name is Prince Vrask of the Goblin Nation. I oversee a collection of our oldest vaults including your various vaults. Hence the security for both me and my clients."
"Well met Prince Vrask, I'm Lilith Persephone Potter," Lilith replied politely and Vrask nodded.
"Secondly, we will do an inheritance test to fully discern your bloodline and family titles. From there we can go about the rest of the family business," he explained, producing an ornate knife, a bowl and a roll of parchment. Lilith eyed the knife suspiciously, along with the bowl and the parchment seemed to speak for itself.
"Cut yourself with the knife and allow your blood to drip into the bowl, the knife is charmed to heal up your wound and replace the blood in your system once enough blood has filled the bowl. Then I will place the parchment into your blood and your inheritance will be revealed," Vrask explained.
Lilith hummed, picking up the knife and slicing her palm in a singular smooth movement at such a rate that had Vrask balking in his chair at how an 11-year-old girl didn't even blink or appear concerned as she cut herself. Allowing the blood to pool until the bowl was half full, her wound healed itself and Lilith marvelled at the magic of the knife while watching Vrask place the parchment into the bowl out of the corner of her eye. The blood was completely absorbed by the parchment and lines of red writing appeared on it. Vrask delicately lifts up the parchment and unrolls it before throwing it into the air to produce a virtual list.

"Prince Vrask, what does this all mean?" Lilith asked confused at what she was reading.
"Well Miss Potter, I did have my suspicions, but this confirms many things for us. You see, at the age of 8 you should have been brought to Gringotts by your magical guardian in order to verify your heiress titles and receive the rings. Each family ring has protections and enchantments to aid the heiress and the lord/lady rings themselves act as keys to various vaults and estates. What this parchment doesn't show is the value of the family vaults, the Potter's and Black's are some of the oldest families in the wizarding world. You could spend 10'000 Galleons a day for the rest of your life, and you may be able to use a quarter of the vault's savings. That's not including the shares and businesses each family owns bringing in more income on a monthly basis. You are perhaps one of the richest individuals in the wizarding world now."
"Hold up, what's the conversion rate for Galleons to muggle-pounds?"
"A single galleon is worth about 5 British pounds at the current exchange rate."
"Okay, now what are bloodline gifts?"
"Bloodline gifts are unique family traits that allow you an ability that not all witches and wizards have access to no matter how powerful they are or how much they study. It is simply something that you can do that others can't. But I must say there hasn't been another Parseltongue speaker since the last Dark Lord. There hasn't been a Shadowmancer or a Necromancer since ancient times, these gifts you should keep a secret lest you be killed or worse."
"And you're not going to turn me in?"
"Your abilities are indeed held sacred by my kind, but the laws of witches and wizards matter very little to us."
"I'll need to learn about the laws of the wizarding world."
"I will give you a list of books for you to get from Flourish & Blotts, now onto step 3, your heiress rings." He waved his hand and produced four box's each with a different crest on them. A lion, a snake, a wolf and a symbol of a triangle with a circle inside of it and a line dividing it in half. Each box had an ornate ring in it, a ruby for the Potter's, an emerald for Slytherin, an onyx for the Black's and the stone on the Peverell family ring looked like a black sapphire.
"Those are going to be clunky on my fingers," Lilith groaned.
"If you place them all on, they'll shrink to fit you as well as change shape depending on what you want. They'll also remain invisible unless you want it to show, or you are using it. Now each ring has its own unique abilities but the ones they all have are as follows, Occlumency, this protects your mind from invasion. Though a master ligilimens, someone who can invade and read minds, will be able to get through if they try. It also detects poison and other foreign objects in your food, they will heat up within the direct vicinity of the source. Those are the basics the more advance stuff can be covered later, I will be giving you a special messenger box which will have a twin in my office, we will put any and all correspondence in these as to avoid any mail tampering."
"O-kay," Lilith's head was hurting.
"Now, given that you are the sole heiress of two of our oldest accounts, when it comes to accessing your money there are a few options. A coin purse which directly accesses the vault desired, one for each trust vault. A Gringotts platinum card, works like a muggle credit card directly depositing the required funds into the account of the payee. Or you can just use your key to withdraw the funds you require manually, and we will give you a bag of holding to hold them."
"Can I have a coin purse for the Black Trust vault and a platinum card for the Potter vault? Also, I would like all previous keys for the Potter vault disabled. I suppose I will eventually meet my remaining family members?"
"Done, and as for you meeting them. It is your right as heiress and I'm sure they will be eager to greet you. However, in the meantime we will limit their access to just 10'000 Galleons," Vrask said.
"I suppose I'll visit the Peverell vault at another time, can you please make it so nothing that happened today gets out of this room?"
"Of course, confidentiality is our most upheld value when it comes to Gringotts. We care not for laws of wizarding kind so long as none of our laws are broken."
Two hours after first going into the goblin run bank, Lilith Potter left with a skip in her step and Hela flying next to her slightly annoyed. Having obtained a purse for the Black trust and a platinum card for the Potter trust she could finally do her shopping. Vrask had given her a list of books to work through in order to understand the wizarding world as a whole and the hierarchy that revolved around it.
But first it was to Ollivander's to get a wand, entering the shop she was met with silence, she allowed her magic to spread through the shadows until she found someone, hiding amongst the shelves. Giving a tug with the shadows a yelp was heard along with falling.
"Ah! Miss Potter, I was wondering when I'd be seeing you. So sorry I was out the back doing some stocktake," the man lied, chuckling as he approached.
"It still seems like yesterday your parents were here getting their own wands, now, which hand?" Olivander asked.
"I'm ambidextrous," she replied.
"Ah… I see, well, let's see what we can find."
What happened was that Lilith spent the next half an hour trying wands that rejected her, one after the other, the most alarming was a wand that completely destroyed itself in her hands sending Hela squawking in the air next to her.
"Don't he disheartened; this does happen on occasion. It just means that any wand already created likely won't work for you, you'll need your own custom wand! Come with me! Come! Come!" Olivander seemed almost eager as he gestured for Lilith to follow him into the back of his shop.
She did so but with caution, having her magic and the shadows she felt comforted by on hand if she needed it. The room she was led to was unlike anything she had ever seen before, a furnace burned hot and heavy, various tables sat with different materials on them.
"Right! Right! Well, firstly this table here has the woods used. And then the next has various cores. Clear your mind and allow yourself to connect to the materials your wand is to be made of."
Lilith did as tell, Olivander shivered as all the light seemed to drain from the room as she approached the table with the woods. She raised her hand over the woods and let the magic flow to seek what would be useable for her. Her magic stopped with two different woods, lifting one up in each hand she brought them over to Olivander who was standing next to an empty table. Placing the two woods down separately she looked at him as he raised a surprised brow.
"Elder wood, the rarest wand wood of all, and reputed to be deeply unlucky, the elder wand is trickier to master than any other. It contains powerful magic, but scorns to remain with any owner who is not the superior of his or her company; it takes a remarkable wizard to keep the elder wand for any length of time. Of course, as the story of the Deathly Hallows go, the Elder Wand of Death is unrivalled," Olivander mused before looking at the other wood.
"Yew, interesting. Yew wands are among the rarer kinds, and their ideal matches are likewise unusual, and occasionally notorious. The wand of yew is reputed to endow its possessor with the power of life and death, which might, of course, be said of all wands; and yet yew retains a particularly dark and fearsome reputation in the spheres of duelling and all curses. Wands hewn from these most long-lived trees have been found in the possession of heroes quite as often as of villains. I wonder which one you will be. Now the cores please Miss Potter."
She did the same thing with the table of cores, allowing her magic to wash over all of the materials stopping upon two individual materials and lifting each up. Following the tendrils of shadows as Hela cooed in her ear. She placed the two items next to the woods that she felt they suited, and Olivander let out an excited "hm" before delving into an explanation.
"The tail feather from a Thunderbird, Thunderbird feather wands are extremely powerful, though difficult to master. They were able to sense danger and were known to cast curses on their own pre-emptively. As the core of a Yew wand, I foresee this wand being a force of nature."
"And a horned serpent horn, they are exceptionally powerful. They were sensitive to Parseltongue and vibrated when it was being spoken. They could also warn their owners of danger by emitting a low musical note. Couple that with elder wood and well, you have a wand that will accept none but the best as its master and it will care for you as you care for it. Very well! Looks like I shall have some excitement today. This should take me an hour or so, go finish your shopping and then come back!" He shooed her away and closed the store behind her.
Flourish & Blotts wasn't that hard to find, all Lilith had to do was follow all the adults with similar aged children speaking about Hogwarts books. She picked up all the Hogwarts books along with the books Vrask had suggested she get about wizarding culture, thankfully the clerk shrunk everything down for her and she was able to pocket the parcels easily enough before heading to her next destination, a trunk.
Lilith had immediately dismissed the standard school trunks and instead forked over the 3'000 Galleons for an apartment trunk, with blood keyed wards for her to access it. It had a master bedroom with an ensuite and walk-in-robe, a kitchen, a potions lab, a library and a living room. Not as big as a regular house but certainly the size of a small apartment. She had spent a further 1'000 galleons filling it with furniture, a queen-sized bed, equipment for the potion's lab, bookshelves for the library and a dinning room table and kitchen equipment.
Next up she headed to Madam Malkin's robes for all occasions, entering the shop she immediately caught the attention of one of the attendants who left another girl who was currently fitting a blonde-haired boy while the boys mother stood off to the side hovering.
"Hello dear, Hogwarts?" The attendant asked.
"Yes," Lilith replied.
"Alright, step up on the platform right next to this young man. I'll take your measurements and we'll get you fitted. How many robes and what quality?"
"I'd live seven sets of both summer and winter robes, and the finest quality material you have," Lilith replied, the attendants' eyes lit up and Lilith swore she saw the boy's mother nod approvingly at her.
"You a new student as well?" The boy said next to her.
"I am."
"I don't believe I've seen you before, you a half-blood. Or a mudblood?" He asked with a sneer, Lilith raised an eyebrow.
"Does it matter?"
"Well, I should hope you are a half-blood, mudbloods have been ruining our society for long enough. Father says they don't deserve to have magic. So, what are your parents?"
"I've grown up without magic in my home."
"You must be a mudblood then," he said sneering at her, only to get slapped on the back of the head by his mother.
"Draco, that is not how you speak to a young lady, no matter the blood status. My apologies young lady, Draco gets worked up sometimes. It comes from his father, I'm Narcissa Malfoy, may I ask who I am greeting?" The woman asked politely, though she had a similar judgemental look, she just hid it better.
"Well met cousin, I'm Lilith Potter, heiress of House Potter and Black," she curtseyed, the entire store froze.
"You're the girl who lived," Draco said shocked, and she nodded.
"I am, I am also the heiress of House Black through Sirius, my Godfather. I was just at Gringotts finding all this information out and I was intending to set up a meeting between our families, but it seems fate had other intentions," Lilith said, Narcissa hummed while Draco straightened his back.
"From one Daughter of House Black, it is a pleasure to meet another. Do you have a chaperone for your trip today?"
"I did, but the large oaf I sent away to do God knows what. I believed it would benefit me to not be around someone so… simple minded," Lilith said trying to find the right words, she had nothing against Hagrid, but he was very simple minded.
"Indeed, the half-giant is not someone who should be inducting an heiress to the wizarding world. Would you perhaps like to join us for the rest of your shopping? As family I would like to get to know and look out for you," Narcissa offered.
"I would like that; I have to return to Olivander's to pick up my wand. He had to custom make it," Lilith said.
"We have yet to get Draco one."
"You're having one made for you!" Draco exclaimed.
"Inside voices Draco," Narcissa scolded.
"Sorry mother, it's just. Doesn't Olivander almost never make custom wands?"
"We spent almost an hour trying wands, everyone rejected me, and one outright burned up in my hand. He said he would have to make me a custom wand, so I need to pick it up after I'm done here," Lilith explained, she could see the employees listening intently, so she purposefully omitted a few key pieces of information.
"Well, while we finish off here. Perhaps allow me to explain some of the history of House Black," Narcissa offered, Lilith nodded and while the girls worked on taking her measurements, Narcissa informed Lilith about the long history of House Black and their role as a member of the Sacred 28 of which the Potter's are also members of.
Heading back to Ollivander's with Narcissa Malfoy and an excited Draco chattering at her was… an experience, she found that Draco was quite a loud personality, and very much loved quidditch, a sport they had in the wizarding world.
"I'm going to try out for the Slytherin team as soon as I can," he said with a grin as they entered the store.
"Ah! Miss Potter welcome back! Oh, and I see you have made the acquaintance of Lady Malfoy and Heir Malfoy. A pleasure! Come to get your wand then young man?" He said, Draco nodded eagerly.
"Right! First, Miss Potter your order is right here. Why don't you come out back and give it a whirl while I help young Mr Malfoy?" He said, Lilith nodded and followed him out back where on an empty stone table with two boxes.
"12 inches, Yew, with a Thunderbird Tail feather core. 13 and a Half inches elder wood with a Horned Serpent Horn core. I daresay these two are perhaps the greatest wands I will ever make as a wand maker. I have included some dragonhide wand holders for you with an anti-summoning charm permanently applied so that your wands can never be summoned for you, free of charge, of course. That will be 150 Galleons for the two wands though," he said, Lilith nodded and forked over the money while her eyes were trained on the two boxes.
"Try not to destroy my test dummies Miss Potter, I will be back in ten minutes to see you out," Olivander said as he ascended the stairs to take care of Draco.
Hela flew from her shoulder to stand between the two boxes, looking at both of them with a calculating gaze before nodding her head satisfied.
"While they aren't as powerful as one of my vestiges. They will serve you will and perhaps in the future we can attune them into a vestige," Hela commented telepathically.
Taking her mother's words as consent, Lilith approached the table with the two boxes. Already she could feel the power radiating from the two wands, each of them begging to be held by her. Taking each one from its box in each hand, the yew in her left and the elder in her right she felt them vibrate with happiness and the Wilde magic she felt around them started to seep into her pores and settle within her core.
Turning her attention to the test dummies she allowed her shadows to envelope her, raising her right arm and creating a slashing action with the elder wand she watched mesmerised as it created a single line of shadow following the wands path, a jab forward sent it rocketing towards the dummy before completely cutting it in half. Satisfied with the elder wand she then repeated the action with the yew wand, this one instead of creating a line of shadows, created a line of flames which shot forwards and incinerated its dummy. Oops, she would pay Olivander the galleons for the new dummy. Fastening the wand holsters to her wrist and placing her wands in their respective sides she took herself up the stairs, the shadows and her raven following her. Magic was going to be fun; she couldn't wait to see what she could do and how much pain she could inflict. An emerald flame danced behind her eyes as the Mistress of Ravens watched her champion with keen focus and approval.
