Hello.
I'm back, and starting Part 2 to my Amphibia OC Insert.
Thank you to all those that have favorited, followed, and reviewed Part 1, and I hope the next three parts are just as satisfying as the first.
Previously…
Anne Boonchuy stood in a Thrift Store looking at the Music Box on the shelf in front of her. The Music Box with a picture of a frog and 4 colorful gems. Blue, Purple, Green, and Teal.
Anne looked behind her to see the cashier asleep.
"You can do this," she said to herself.
Anne grabbed the Box and looked towards the window. There her three best friends, Sasha Waybright, Marcy Wu, and Matthew Ellis were standing, smiling and supporting her.
Anne put the Music Box in her backpack and left the store.
A moment later, the four tweens were at a playground.
Anne opened the Music Box, and Light emerged from it, engulfing the four teens in it.
Chapter 1
The Woods
Matthew Ellis woke up finding himself laying in some dirt. He quickly stood up and brushed off as much dirt as he could.
He looked around, finding himself in the Middle of the Woods, and Anne, Sasha, and Marcy were nowhere to be found.
"ANNE?! MARCY?! SASHA?!" he called out, hoping he'd hear a sign of their presence, but he could not hear them.
Instead, he heard rattling in the bushes, and thought a woodland creature heard him and was coming. He quickly ran off.
"Alright, this is no big deal," he tried to assure himself. "This is just one of those fantasy stories. The main character needs to find his friends and..."
That's when a Giant Praying Mantis appears right in front of him.
"OH, GOD!" he shouted.
He quickly started running in the opposite direction.
That's when he felt something grab him and lift him off the ground. He looked up and saw it was a Giant Bird.
"Why does everything here have to be giant?" he asked himself.
Matt looked down seeing he was very high in the sky, and the landscape seemed nothing like anything on earth. The land looked like a Giant Lilypad. The view was gorgeous, but Matt could only assume that the bird would drop him at any instant.
Matt's fears were correct as the bird dropped him. He started falling back to the ground, and he feared for the worst, when he felt himself getting pulled back up.
He looked up and saw a different bird carrying him. This time, the bird carried Matt over to a nest, where a ton of smaller, yet giant birds were laying.
The big bird tried to feed Matt to the smaller birds, but they all started fighting over him. Matt quickly used this to his advantage and punched one of the birds, and then used it to glide back down to safety. The big bird came down and screeched at Matt, causing him to feel guilty for endangering its child. He expected the bird to eat him, but instead, it left and carried its child with it.
That's when Matt heard a roar and looked behind him. He saw a huge creature that looked like a horrible hybrid between a bug and a bear. Matt quickly ran from the bug-bear and found a small cave. He quickly went inside of it, and the creature left.
Matt looked at his backpack, which was fortunately not that torn. He opened it up and grabbed his phone. He tried to text in the Group Chat, but it failed to send, causing Matt to realize that wherever he was at, there was no service.
Matt then started to cry. All he wanted was to escape his Christian Parents who wanted him to sever his ties with his friends. He was hoping the Music Box would take them to an awesome fantasy world like that of the Legend of Zelda games that he's played, and all four of them would be together going on endless adventures whether they'd be to defeat an ancient evil or simply gathering ingredients for villagers. Instead he's out in the middle of the woods with no way to defend himself from giant monsters and he has no one to accompany him on his journey.
Matt went to the side pocket of his backpack and grabbed a picture of himself and his friends. He clinged onto it with hope that the other girls are safe, whether they also ended up in this world or not.
So, Matt has only been in Amphibia for one day, yet he's already been through a lot.
What will happen next?
We'll just have to wait and see.
