With the missions the team had done, SG-1 and their friends prepare and wait for the countdown to end. Only to discover a shocking truth about Jack O'neill and Janet Frasier's involvement in the NID. And with it one that could change the course of history in the tv show history focused on them now. Can they fix that past mistake or will the future for SG-1 play out in the same way.

The Past Meets The Future- Part 3: The Past And Present Reborn

Warnings: With this chapter there is an unexpected visit by Shyla and her courts, resulting in a fast repair job, as they resurrect Pyrus as well. As the switch over from one book series to the next now, has this resulting in the side effects. Of a stand alone story connected to book 2 of the Stargate/Star Trek TNG serious directly after this. In story titles, the title of the story is The Bonds Of Friends And Family I: Stargate SG-1.

As this story, in between season 2 and restarting season 1, shows the ending results of Jack not changing a bit, or Sam did it again. And landed Daniel back in the hospital, via sarcophagus, as she knew now that Daniel was on a mission but didn't care now. And once more doesn't care that Daniel never wanted to go back to P7J-989 for the chairs as he has to relive his parents deaths again, and this time for Shyla's people.

They became overly protecting in keeping them separated as there is going to be a slight pause. In the extended version to what happened between his withdrawal and rebound and the end of it. As I lost several chapters when updating the chapter on truths out. Regarding who it was that caused his to really quit and the reason why. So it's going to take me a few days to get the rest of it out, regarding the ending to Need.

But from here Sam's about to live her life the way Wesley and Sito had, as a result of lying to them for 5 years, instead of a week. Like on The First Duty, this chapter and the next are The First Duty, Stargate style now. Daniel got his respect and trust back from Hammond and now nothing anyone of the trio: Sam, Jack and Janet. Could say makes any difference, with Daniel becoming the William Riker of their century now.

Before the rest of the story is finished and it goes from 2369 and into 1893, but there will be several indications saying there are changes in that area. Before Hammond's age group gets into the military and leading into their new future. And before the next half of the chapter as it reaches Hammond's meeting with SG-1 as the team ends up in 1969, as they see Hammond in his early 30's.

Chapter 96: SGC Truths: The IOA Gets The Truth VII

"You are incorrect, Daniel Jackson is a valued member of SG-1." Teal'c said, cutting off Jack's sputtered reply and Simmons raised an eyebrow. "Oh? 'Shut up, Daniel, is that clear enough for you?' Ring any bells?" he asked and Jack stiffened visibly, and Sam's mouth dropped open as Teal'c scowled, his hands curling into ominous fists on the table. "That was not in any report." Jack said, protesting that after a moment, he smiled small, curved smile.

"I have my sources, are you suggesting that you didn't say that? Was I misinformed?" he asked him and Jack glared and said nothing. "Just keep that up, and carry the slights over to your personal lives. I assume you have social connections as well? Team nights?" Simmons said, flicking his fingers as if dismissing the whole argument, lips curled distastefully around the words and Sam and Jack exchanged irritated looks then at this.

"Yes, Frank: People with friends do tend to spend time with them, maybe someone can explain that concept to you." Jack said and Simmons but for a bare, irritated tapping of his manicured fingernails against the table then. "Well, start shutting Doctor Jackson out of them, whisper to each other where he can see you. Stop talking when he enters a room, let him overhear you complaining about him, or making jokes at his expense.

"I'm sure he'll get the picture fairly quickly. He's a smart man, after all." he said and Daniel nodded sadly in agreement and Davidson pulled him into a hug. And he buried his head into his shoulder. "You see what you have done young lady, he had nothing left to give and just gave up, that a fresh start was for the best now. But making him relive his parents accident by simulating it, you're throwing, not Shyla in his face repeatedly, but his parents, young lady."

"That's as cruel as you can get, all the successes he has had, and the single failure is his trying to save his parents." Sanderson said sternly to her and she swallowed hard at that remark shaking then, never once considering that was what made him go the extra mile. "This is ridiculous, you can't possibly think we'd go along with that." Sam said as she leaned forward, her eyes snapping, her chin thrust out and he shrugged as he answered her then.

"Your choice. Major, if the SGC waives their right to take part in this investigation, then of course, you will all have to accept whatever our own search turns up. If Doctor Jackson is indeed guilty, you will have no right to contest our verdict." he said and Teal'C shook his head then. "Daniel Jackson is not guilty, you search will discover nothing." he said to that. "Don't be so sure." he said to that and Sam swallowed hard then.

As Jack shook his head, and threw his hands up in the air. "Sir?" he said, once again bypassing Simmons, in speaking to Hammond. "You know they'll just dummy up some 'evidence' and put Daniel away." he said to this remark. "You shouldn't make accusations with nothing to back it up," Simmons protested and he nodded. "Neither should you, you know damn well Daniel has nothing to do with this." He said to this then as he went further.

While smacked his palm flat on the journal in front of him. "This is just you trying to get him out of the SGC, and forcing us to do your dirty work." he said to him then. "This of this as an opportunity, despite Doctor Jackson's many shortcomings. That you've always been his proponent, but here is your chance to prove once and for all. That he would never betray the SGC, once the operation is over, he can return to his normal work."

"And you can all begin treating him as you usually do." he said to and they exchanged irritated looks "That's if he's willing to come back, what makes you think he'd work for people who did something like this to him?" she asked and Jack nodded. "You all have orders, I'm sure he'd understand." Simmons said and Jack snorted. "Yeah, right, if he doesn't come back, that's just icing on the cake for you, isn't it?" he said to him then.

And Simmons' eyes narrowed and he leaned forward, dropping the smile. "Listen, Jack, I'm here as a courtesy, I don't have to ask for your cooperation at all. You have been ordered to participate in this operation, and if you defy those orders, there will be consequences, but if any of you," he said, sweeping the table with his eyes, "Now, inform Doctor Jackson that he's under suspicion, you will all be brought up on charges."

"Serious charges, I assure you." He said to him then. "Bullshit charges is more like it, I'm done listening to this." Jack said as he stood abruptly, his hands clenched at his sides, glaring down at Simmons. "Colonel, sit down." Hammond said sternly and Jack stared at him, a muscle in his jaw working silently. Then he nodded and sat down, complying out of respect for the General and nothing else as Hammond fixed the NID Colonel with a hard look then.

"You've said what you came here to say, once I've verified that these 'orders' are genuine…" he started to say and Simmons interrupted gently. "Oh, I think you'll find you can't dodge this one, General you do not understand here. And after, now, the amount of times Dr. Jackson was proven right on missions right now. And about the moral side effects here, Euronda, I do recall Addison said that break orders here right now."

"They're both being court martialed for it, while prior to that, just to keep going they threw him to the wolves. And Jackson pays them both back, and Frasier, with them, by testing another out and activating it right now. Just how long can this back and forth continue, before he decides 'screw this, I want Catherine back. Just so I can join her department again, I don't belong in this rathole.'." he said to him then gently at that.

"General, Addison and Sanderson had a very long talk, after a discussion with a Pavel Markov, said that once Nirrti is dead. They're planning to contact every country on the planet and are making the program go live. As such right now, this means that the reps are going to activate the SGA, as Dr. Langford said. In the SGA, they have complete autonomy now, that civilian ran with military help." he said and Jack paled.

"But the SGA has one sure fire way to prevent the matters of something like puncture through a sun's core, because based on the reports. The DHD has a way to navigate it safely, but we can get more done by trade deals than by your version. But that's what he would be doing if West never reactivated Colonel O'neill now. And he would be happier then he is right now, after 3 situations, eroding the fabric of so called trust."

"After the Za'tarc incident right now." he said and Hammond nodded. "Pavel Markov, as in Dr. Markov?" he asked and Simmons nodded. "He's her father and a family friend, Jackson's mother had contacts all over. This was how he knew her on sight, Star Trek character appearance not withstanding, the last time. That he saw Markov was when he was 13, at the time." he said and Hammond slammed his hand on the table at that.

"Da, knowing his family friends was helping in the long run right now, that Colonel Chekhov never realized he is the Danny Jackson I speak so highly of. That which resulted in a fast decision, as with a Russian team involved." Markov said and she swallowed hard at that remark. "Translation, Daniel's skills are better put to use in trade deals and research, then being a field person with the current circumstances." he translated sternly and she swallowed hard then.

And that did it. "Addison is waiting till after we kill Nirrti, if Cronus doesn't do it first right now, to have our government and the Russians. Go live and tell the Chinese, British, France, and others as they reactivate the SGA again right now. That's the department that he belonged to, before West pulled Colonel O'neill out of retirement. That's where he belongs, civilian ran, with military help." he said to clarify to Hammond.

"Machello's symbiote killing weapons, Euronda, are you telling me right now…." Hammond started to say and Simmons nodded as he said to him and he froze up carefully as Teal'C nodded. "Yes General that's exactly what I'm saying right now, because the only ones showing they are. Are you and Teal'C, but these two sure aren't as I said, how much longer can he take it right now in truth?" he said and Hammond nodded at that.

"Sooner or later Addison and Chekhov are going to make the program public knowledge, we just think he's better off with his original team, and frankly. I know he's had enough of this crap, no matter they say he can take it, he's close." he said and he nodded. "Yes alright I understand right now, but frankly, I'm not the directly involved in this, but his team is right now." he said and the duo looked at him in shock.

"Are they here listening to this, though?" he added and Simmons flicked his eyes at the camera and he and Teal'C nodded. "He basically just told me that Daniel's entire side of the generals are in the surveillance room right now. Listening to the entire exchange, and that was a test after Machello and Euronda, we had to get enough. Just to get Daniel a chance at freedom, so though he was glad to see me and Teal'C, he was wary of you." he said and she swallowed.

"What?, Sir, you can't be serious." Jack said in shock, as he shoved his chair back, standing again. "Sir?" Sam protested at the same time, shaking her head, while Teal'c simply leaned back and folded his arms. "I will not." he said to him then and Hammond held a hand up, stilling all of them, his focus still on Simmons. "You are dismissed." he said to him and Simmons rose to his feet, taking his sweet time about it, as he laid a parting shit to Jack.

"I will, of course, expect regular status reports." he said to him then "You hardly need them seeing as you seem to know everything that goes on here anyway." he said to him and after a smug smile sent Jack's way, Simmons waited for the General to nod. and then he walked out, his head held high, still smiling, as everyone turned to stare at Hammond. Who was obviously waiting for him to tell them it was never going to happen he said it then firmly.

"I'll do my best, but we may have to bite the bullet on this one." he said and she started to say it "But…" she tried to say and Hammond held a hand up, then pulled a pen from his shirt and tilted slightly, turning his back to the security camera. He tugged Sam's copy of the journal close and scrawled on the cover a single word. Bugs and Sam's eyes widened briefly as Jack and Teal'c never blinked. "We were in the control room." Addison said and she swallowed hard.

"But do you realize you sound like Darrel in reverse, by that I mean Patrick's character, Colonel, Patrick knew, with Chris's smarts and grades. He could get a scholarship and they could put him through college, but you're holding him back. And from a huge opportunity, but he's not a baby you have to stop treating him like one right now. Leave that to us, his uncles, as we're twice his age, you little brat, enough!" Carson said sternly to them and Jack swallowed hard at that.

"But it doesn't matter what you decide anymore, Daniel is part of Andy's team now, therefore, only Andy is in charge of and responsible for him, Daniel had a status quo to follow. And for 10 years before you entered the stargate program that to him, is why should he listen to you. Hmm, why exactly, Andy gave orders and he followed them, but he was part of a program, in which the civilians decided on a course of action, military carried it out." Adam said to him then.

"But you see now, what he's about to start doing has him as more alive and relaxed then he ever was before, that why stay here at all right now. But again everything that he brings back is worth unodecillions in monetary amounts right now. That the drugs needed are worth far more then military technology right now, as are the Volerans farming technology now. These things are worth more, as we dig up every metal needed still on earth, and if we find it elsewhere."

"We can doing farming, politics, medical care, entertainment and other consumers perfectly, make the entire planet a better and safer place to live. But that image right now, what we saw, will see now, is the catch right now, that's without the king's drugs. But with it, we live in a better world, no more violence, no more famine, no more fossil fuels polluting the environment. That's the future, building bridges instead of burning them." Sanderson said and she swallowed.

"In truth here and do you idiots understand anything about the commodities trade, to quote Dan here when he was giving Eddie a fast run down on the open trade market. Think big, think positive, never show any sign of weakness, always go for the throat, buy low, sell high. Fear that's the other's guy's problem, nothing you have ever experienced will prepare you. For the absolute carnage you are about to witness: Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, the World Series, hah."

"It's they don't know what pressure is, as in this building, that's the world trade center, or on these missions, it's either kill or be killed. You make no friends in the pits and you take no prisoners, as one minute you're up half a million in soybeans. And the next, boom, your kids don't go to college and they've repossessed your Bentley." Daniel said sternly and Jack swallowed hard at his ruthless attitude in being a trade dealer now, as his new job then.

"Buy, you're losing money, sell, you're making money and this is why food is cheap or expensive, you never pay attention, think about it for a second. Why is there a supply and demand, it's because retail dealers don't often buy enough to meet demand here. This is basis of economics and you're a soldier, but let me show you what happened during Calder now. "This is after you guys went off protocol, and saw his slave network." he said and on that activated it.

In Calder's office they saw O'Neill turn around from looking out of the window, wearing his work clothes but as he turns, they change into his BDU'S. "Very impressive." he said and they heard. 'But…' as Administrator Calder sat watching him at his desk, eating something. "Too bad it's a lie!" he said and Dixon shook his head, as they see Calder doesn't seem alarmed. "I don't understand." he said and then they heard him say it then as he said it then firmly.

"While we were on the grand tour Carter spotted some ventilation shafts coming out of apparently no-where: we checked it out." he said and Hammond shook his head and Jack swallowed hard then. "You were supposed to stay with your escort." he said and Jack nodded sternly. "Yeah, and I can see how you wouldn't want outsiders to know about the slave labour force you keep underground." he said and Calder said it gently then.

"You know I'm not surprised he kidnapped you after you can't control your curiosity or your attitude, you got yourselves into this, and it'll be Daniel that gets you out now." Addison said sternly and they started shaking in fear at that remark. "They're merely workers." Calder said and Daniel nodded in agreement then. "I can fix that, clone the entire work force right now, and as they can do their job in Atlantea." he said and they shot him a look of disbelief then.

"Shut up you two, you got yourselves into this, by insulting their ways, do customs mean anything to you, or do you go around breaking rules. Like you do in destroying ways of life, it was you that slaughtered the Cimmerians here. By destroying Thor's Hammer, like you nearly killed me by the cave in right now!" he said sternly and she swallowed hard then, as they heard his response. "And what made them so worthy of that?" he asked him sarcastically then.

"Colonel…" he started to say then and Jack slowly walks towards Calder. "Administrator, I will not recommend trade with a culture that enslaves its own people. I don't care what kind of technology you have to offer!" he said and Calder leans forward in his chair then. "No, but I will, they have technology we need, and the only way to strike a fair bargain, is cloning the entire force, and we got a deal." he said sternly and Jack went white at that remark.

"And there's the skill of a diplomat, in exchange for metallurgy and chemical technology, we clone their workforce, and the real ones become engineers at Atlantea now." Chapman said smiling in approval and SG-1 all paled at that remark in shock. "This system of government has allowed our culture to survive an ice-age." he said and Daniel nodded. "Yep…what's the secret? Starvation, torture…, what?" Jack said and Landry shook his head sternly then.

"Our methods are actually quite civilized." he said and Jack nodded skeptically. "Really?" he said and he nodded. "Yes, in fact…, I'll show you." he said and Daniel nodded. "Dad how long were we missing for exactly right now." he asked and he explained that. "You been gone another 6 weeks, just like La Rochelle." he said and Daniel nodded. "SGC blew their chances, but send me and I can negotiate a trade deal and get what we need." He said and they nodded.

"I can fix this, get us trade deal in exchange for a set of clones now, being passed to them, their clones do what they were born to do. While the current slave force, instead of heading for that planet, we have them move in with it, one for the price of another." he said and Sam paled, realizing what they caused here resulted in them getting arrested right now. And Daniel had to fix this and quickly to get the trade deal completed now at the time once again then.

"Better rearrange it here, because instead of you, is Gary right now Daniel, as clearly this little bastard hates scientists and you or Gary same difference, after Kegan is with Gary. Like she is with you right now, but she hates these two, and because now, in her words. They're just sucking up to Brenna, or the General, just so they can get special treatment. But just be yourself, like Wes is with Captain Picard." Bishop said and he nodded in agreement then.

Just as the gate went off a third time. "Not again, who's comming us now exactly?!" Harriman said in aggravation and when to check it. "Oh General it's P3R-118, it's the workforce leader and the city leader!" he said and Hammond nodded. " Open it!" he called out and they nodded as the gate opened and the said duo that kidnapped the trio came through and Daniel stepped forward. "Well Administrator, what can I do for you exactly?" he asked and the man sighed as he said it.

"It's about what Colonel O'neill caused, the city is on the verge of falling apart right now." he said and Daniel nodded. "We were about to review the update to that scenario, only the new archeologist on that team is Captain Gary Sanderson. I'm now part of the SGA, so what the greens do had no bearing on what, we, the SGA, decide. So with that in mind now that trade deal still stands, and we can clone your work force." he said and he nodded smiling in relief.

"That's more then fair, in exchange for what we offer you, we ask for clones of everyone in the work force, and where will you take them exactly?" he asked and Daniel smiled. "The SGA has a settlement the size of your city itself now in the next round 2 up right now. We're living in continent as cold as the surrounding area of your planet, only the planet itself. It's going to have it the entire city kept warm now." he said and they nodded smiling then, as she said it then.

"Well then show us the rewrite to this scenario, because I'm not surprised that you and Teal'C had to arrest Colonel O'neill yourselves, before the workers arrested Teal'C." he said and they nodded sternly to the remark and Hammond turned and looked at Jack, who paled at that. "I know, but the bastard has a real attitude problem, but I have no bearing on this idiot. But with that, here's me with my unit, SGA-1, we come 6 weeks later." he said and the man nodded.

"But that's the duo, Gary and Teal'C, later, as, in royal blue, we arrive next." he said and Hammond nodded sternly as he switched it gently. "Administrator Caldor, I'm Dr. Daniel Jackson, regarding a trade deal. I'm not speaking for our green counterparts, but he screwed up and what they did. That was illegal right now, in them separating from the escort you gave them, I'm thinking, would it be possible to clone your work force."

"As they still have their knowledge, but they're clones, doubles of your work force." Daniel said and he smiled at that. "I got word back from Brenna there was an altercation, between Colonel O'neill and Captain Sanderson." he said and Daniel nodded. "Yeah that happened between us, him and me, last round after he got rough with Kegan." he said and Calder slammed his hand on the table sternly and Jack swallowed hard at that response.

"Is he always like this, if he finds something he doesn't like in learning about the personal business of the people you trade with now. That he finds a way to nitpick the deal, before we throw them off the planet, or in my case kidnap them?" he asked and Daniel nodded. "Unfortunately yes right now, this is why they're not bringing anything back, but I said this time and time again, once on your side of the gate right now."

"We play by your rules now, Administrator, and they still won't listen to me, that I switched areas, but I can fix that, and he's being dragged back to earth. But just lock the door on your side of the gate, because my idea means a real work force for you. Knowing in what force are, as engineers, we, my department, also live in a dome, but we're shaped up to be a spaceship, so good food, plenty of water, get to see the sun."

"And stars, and this keeps your opinion straight here, the system of government here is no unemployment, no homeless. And these people grew up thinking everything they're doing is exactly as said. Helping your people, and mine survive an ice age, so before the truth is exposed, if he fires at the ceiling now. I'm bringing them back to my department, we clone and return the clones to you as they live in my dome."

"If that's alright with you, switch the real for clones, and they know their timers, we can erase those timers." he said and he smiled. "What do you ask for in exchange?" he asked and he smiled. "Calling in a two-fold, but 1) the trade that SG-1 came to look into and 2) now is creating a real slave network here for you. That enables you to survive the weather outside right now, humans only have so long in these temperatures."

"Let us take the group in there currently, and I know you're insulted at what O'neill triggered here, but I humbly apologize for what he said, like Kegan thought. They're trying to suck up to the military brass for special treatment right now. But I actually carry this memory, my name memory stamp is Carlin, I am very close friends. And of Kegan, but Teal'C, or Tor, as you call him, is SGA, not C." he said and he nodded sternly.

"Tor and I, we are Colonels Daniel Jackson and Teal'C Thomas Martell, he's only serving under General Hammond, my father, till we kill the serpent." he said and Calder nodded sternly. "But he's under my father till the Serpent's demise, and we come under control of Emperor Yu, Empress Amaterasu and Camulus. This idiot has a real problem with a slavery, and enough he can't control his mouth." he said and Calder nodded then.

"Then take your green coharts and get them out of here, I will agree to this exchange, Brenna bring Tor and David up here now, and with them, Kegan." he said and 5 minutes later, they came up. "Daniel, thank the gods, am I relieved to see you, my brother." Teal'C said smiling and he nodded as he hugged him and Sanderson shook his hand. "Hello Kegan, I'm Daniel Jackson, last round, I was your best friend." he said and she smiled.

"Nice to meet you Daniel and thank you, so where is it are you bringing us, in exchange for cloning us now?" she asked and he smiled. "We know the original thought here, but my settlement is actually like Dome City. But you can see the sun everyday now, knowing you're engineers, you can operate the equipment. Our settlement is the same size, and there's enough room for you and us." he said and she nodded gently.

"But you're being a paid employee, so you get paid for keeping the engineering room going in keep the settlement at the right temperature. As too high it's going to melt the area outside the dome now, but we live in an area, inside the dome. As cold as the country above my country of birth that is the same temperature during winter." he said and she nodded. "But work 5 days and a weekends off." he said and she smiled then.

"Indeed that's very fair, so we live at your settlement, we work 5 days, get two days off, real food, we see the sun, we see the stars, we have our own houses. Yeah that's more then a fair trade and our clones do the mining and engineering here. Are you in anyway connected to those two?" she asked and he crossed his arms. "You mean Jonah and Thera and their real names are Major Samantha Carter and Colonel Jack O'neill."

"No, not after they barely got me killed and I'm still holding a few situations in the original time-line against them, not least of which was. Now, they're trying to lie to my father to save themselves from the consequences here. But we were once friends, all we are now is simply comrades, in the military, Teal'C and me now. It's we're SGA now, they're SGC, but at times manners never penetrates here now, but frankly."

"O'neill is a real, excuse me, smart ass here at times, that he's been getting in trouble so much right now lately, that's not surprising here. If not you going for memory stamps, he's had his genes spliced and turned into a member of Calais. The French Colony ring right now, let me look at your arm." he said and she gently pushed her sleeve up and he saw a nasty bruise there and he nodded sternly as he said it to that in fury then.

"Got very rough with you did he, yeah, the problem is she's crazy jealousy, she doesn't like me around other women, even my own wife." he said and she nodded as she hugged him and he tightened his arms around her. "Daniel, what are you doing here exactly?!" Jack said in shock and he said it sternly. "I'm coming to bail you out, but you realize you could have broken her arm if Teal'C, Gary and I never arrested you first."

"But that was uncalled for right now." he said and she flinched at that. "But yeah I agree with Kegan, after they separated us, but you and Carter are just sucking up to Brenna. And so you can get special treatment, but you or her, I choose her, after you nearly killed me in the mine on La Rochelle. But in her words, so long as you stay friends with those bastards, the NID, you're not mine." he said and she swallowed hard at that then.

"Yeah point taken, so long as you as let this little shit walk all over you, you are not his friend and you never were." Matheson said and she swallowed hard at that. "I never saw the Lieutenant's chest or any indication that he been abused, what are you talking about." Brenna asked him and he explained that. "Separate departments, I'm not honorbound to keep this bastard's secrets now, but he's a drug addict with a beyond violent temper."

"But he and she had intense sexual tension between them, since they met, anyone that aggravates her is asking to get taken apart. He attacked me after we got infected with a disease bringing out the inner primitive now in truth here." he said and she crossed her arms and Calder and Kegan and his guards did the same then sternly. And Jack paled at that remark, realizing that would explain the reaction in the engineering room then.

"But the reason I hated him ever since, have you heard of the Great Bimbo Hathor?" he asked and they both nodded and he went white. "He'd over dosed on her pheromone here, after she took my sperm forcefully. His military training as a black ops kicked in, and seeing me undressed from the chest up right now. Unclothed, he and his full soldier counterpart attacked me next, and actively helped her here now in truth."

"But my gene protects me from mind tampering right now, I'm also a shapeshifter." he said and turned into a horse sized wolf in front of them.
