Interlude
Greetings, fellow readers! I am what you call a Lore Master. You may wonder why I have brought you here. Well, you're here because you've been chosen to read through different scenarios that will happen or have happened.
Ah, but you have many questions. Like, what is there to know about the multiverse? Allow me to explain.
In the beginning, there was nothing. An empty, lifeless void. Then came the multiverse, infinitely divided into possibility after possibility. For each universe has its own infinite set of timelines, no matter how big or small they are. To preserve and maintain the balance of reality, an ancient tome - from a time long forgotten - was written: the Book of Destiny.
However, a race of godlike beings once attempted to use its power to benefit their own interests in a reality now designated as Earth-343. They are known to this day as the Precursors. I'm sure you know how it all went down: creating the Forerunners, humanity, and all intelligent life within that particular universe. Until one day, their arrogant and hypocritical 'Mantle of Responsibility' led to their near extinction by the Forerunners' hands.
Left in disgrace, a majority of Precursors left behind their home reality to learn from their mistakes. However, idealism splintered this once mysterious race into factions. From conquers, to guides, to preservers, their influence across the multiverse led to some of themselves taking up different names throughout pop culture media, no matter which version of Earth. In one universe, you may have heard of them as the Leviathans, responsible for the creation of an ancient race of machines with the sole purpose to wipe out advanced civilizations within the Milky Way galaxy every 50,000 years in the name of 'balance' between synthetics and organics. And in another universe, you may have heard of them as the Accelerons, an alien race in which their society is built on the concept of racing. That's right. Their entire civilization is literally about racing.
Today, we look into one of the multiverse's greatest legends. A young hero who hails from another multiverse on a much smaller scale. One prophesied by, surprisingly, the Accelerons.
He is known simply as... the Pathfinder.
