Hello! And welcome to my story. No, you weren't mistaken when you saw the tags, this IS a Luz X OC and Amity X OC type story. If you can't accept that, then feel free to leave. For those who are actually interested, sit back, relax, and enjoy. Just a heads up, I was going for something like the opening in LOZ: The Wind Waker. So, this prologue will kinda read like a transcript. I didn't know how else to go about it so I just went with my gut. Anyway, this is it; the start of a new project! IKUZO!

The Rise and Fall of Magitopia
"Of all the legends passed down by the people of the Boilings Isles, there has always been one that stands out as the most prominent..."
A well-lit hallway comes into view. On the wall are several paintings depicting various events. Center on the one at the far end on the left. The painting depicts a group of people standing in a circle, each of them wearing a black cloak and holding up a staff that are pointed towards a colorfully kaleidoscopic ball of light.
"Long ago, there was a group of wizards and witches whose powers were unrivaled".
Transition to the painting beside it, which depicts the 5 wizards walking through a town with all the people cheering them on and kneeling to them.
"Their magic was so unique and their feats were so great in number everyone held them in high reverence".
Transition to the next painting depicting the 5 wizards standing among several other wizards, witches, and warlocks. Above them all was a large symbol shaped like the letter "M".
"They became the leaders of the first coven that, not only allowed the study of all types of magic, but also acted as the isles' protectors. The many members of the coven were all highly skilled, masters and artisans in their own right. Their coven held a cornucopia of magical knowledge and power. It was because of their vast array of magic types that the coven was forever known as "Magitopia" ".
Transition to the next painting depicting a large group of cloaked wizards, witches, and warlocks, all brandishing the same M shaped symbol which was the coven crest for Magitopia and flying over a large town on brooms and magic staffs with their hands up in the air as they glowed with magic.
"For centuries, the wizards and witches of Magitopia were the guardians of peace and justice on the Boiling Isles. They brought the Isles many victories and blessings and protected the people with their lives".
Transition to the next painting depicting five wizards of Magitopia kneeling before a man wearing a golden mask with horns and a cape whilst on a throne. He had his hand raised, as if praising them.
"After Belos came into power, he was very impressed. So much so that he granted their leader a position of authority that equaled that of the head witches/warlocks of the main covens. Though they were an independent coven, they still answered to the emperor, but that didn't stop them from bringing glory and honor to their coven, as well as themselves".
Transition to the next painting depicting a woman with five children at her sides. Above them stood 6 different figures. The one in the middle wore a white suit of armor with a white helmet, The other 5 wore brightly colored suits with helmets and capes. Each of them was a different color; Green, Pink, Blue, Yellow, and Red.
"Their success was thanks to the descendants of the founding members of the original Magitopia, the Rugrid Family. The family's most skilled witch and matriarch, Riza Rugrid, and her 5 children, were not only skilled wizards, but they also acted as heralds for Magitopia's greatest magic warriors; The most powerful witch of the Magitopia Coven, The White Mage, MagiMother, and her 5 apprentices, the Rainbow Wizards known as the Magirangers. The people of the Isles all loved the Magirangers along with all the other wizards and witches of Magitopia. Even the Covens acknowledged and respected their skills. There were some, however, who did not".
Transition to the next painting which had the symbol for the Magitopia coven on one side and the crest of the Emperor's Coven on the other.
"The members of the Emperor's Coven disagreed with their practice of allowing everyone, including those not of royal or noble birth, to practice magic. Adding to that, they envied Magitopia with a passion, and as the years passed, every wizard and witch who joined them grew more and more jealous, either from experience or simply through hearsay. The reason was because even though they were part of the emperor's own personal coven and their successes and magic were great in their own right, Magitopia had the people of the Isles' trust and adoration".
Transition to the next painting which depicted a great battle with the wizards, witches and warlocks of Magitopia on one side and a horde of monsters and cloaked figures on the other.
"During the early days of Belos' reign, a new threat appeared. Evil sorcerers and monsters from the dark wastelands known as Infershians. . They desired to dominate every living creature and claim all the lands as their own. Magitopia was tasked with the responsibility of protecting the isles' from the Infershians. The Great Infershian War lasted for 46 years, both sides at a stalemate before the White Mage and the Rainbow Wizards' arrival seemingly began to turn the tide of the war during the 40th year of the war. Then, everything changed during the final year of the war, in the climactic battle that ended it all".
Transition to the next painting depicting the white clad MagiMother, wielding her staff which glowed white, with the 5 brightly colored Magirangers at her side. The 5 Rainbow Wizards all held their wands which glowed their respective colors high into the air. The six of them were leading a charge against a mob of Infershians. The many wizards, witches and warlocks all rallying, spiritually empowered by the White Mage and her followers.
"The White Mage, MagiMother, led one final all-out attack against the Infershians. With her went the Magirangers, and a great many other wizards and witches in an attempt to, at last, vanquish their longtime enemies; many great wizards and witches fell and the hour of fate seemed at hand. But the brave wizards and witches of Magitopia persisted. Through what seemed like a miracle, MagiMother and her five followers defeated the leaders of the Infershian Army and all their troops. Victory was at hand, but the forces of evil would not be brought down so easily".
Transition to the next painting depicting the many coven members of Magitopia cowering before the sight of a figure clad in spikey purple armor and wielding a large shield and sword.
"From out of the darkness arose the most cunning and ruthless of the Infershian sorcerer's, Wolzard, The Dark Magic Knight. The armor-clad Infershian sorcerer had sworn to destroy all of Magitopia, every last witch and wizard. He began by attacking the Magirangers".
Transition to the next painting depicting Wolzard standing over the fallen bodies of the Magirangers.
"Defiant but outclassed, the five students of the White Mage were overpowered by the dark warrior's overwhelming strength and magic power".
Transition to the next painting depicting MagiMother clashing her staff which glowed white against Wolzard's sword which glowed blackish purple. At MagiMother's side was Riza Rugrid.
"In a last attempt to allow her students and cohorts to retreat, MagiMother made a final stand against Wolzard. The only one who remained at her side was her loyal herald, Riza Rugrid. Though highly skilled in combat and magic, not even the White Mage was a match for Infershia's last great warrior. Their battle continued on for what seemed like hours, until at last, all who were present watched on in shock and horror as Wolzard claimed victory".
Transition to the next painting depicting MagiMother and Riza Rugrid lying dead on the ground side by side with several members of Magitopia standing around them covering their faces with their hands, mourning the loss of their two great leaders.
"MagiMother, the isles' greatest witch, and Riza Rugrid, matriarch of the proud Rugrid Family, had been defeated".
Transition to the next painting depicting many members of the Magitopia Coven kneeling and pleading to Belos, who sat on his throne with his finger pointed in the opposite direction as if telling them to leave.
"As tragic a loss as it was for Magitopia, their troubles had only just begun. Because the last member of the Infershians' remained at large, the emperor was persuaded to dissolve Magitopia as punishment for their failure. Many of the members fought to keep their coven instated, even the other coven's lent their aid. Sadly, the emperor was firm in his decision, and after centuries of great service to the isles', the Magitopia Coven was no more. All the wizards and witches of the coven either joined other covens or sought out purpose by walking their own paths. With no other alternative, the 5 remaining members of the Magirangers were forced to go into hiding. And since the day of Magitopia's defeat at the hands of Infershia, the Rugrid Family, which was once a family held in high esteem, was now a subject of mockery and ridicule".
Transition to the second to last painting depicting a group of wizards and witches donned in gold and white robes holding their wands and staffs high into the air as they stood in front of a large structure that resembles a castle.
"With their coven now in shambles, the highest of Magitopia's order, the Heavenly Saints, had no other choice but to conceal every last possession and piece of knowledge that belonged to Magitopia, in order to keep them out of enemy hands. Using all their magic power, they sealed everything way; their main base, their temples and shrines, everything. Until every last piece of what was once known as the First Coven vanished without a trace. To this day, their locations have yet to be discovered".
Transition to the final painting which depicts the five Rainbow Wizards standing side by side, all holding their wands over their hearts. Above them is the symbol for the Magitopia Coven shining brightly.
"Though Magitopia has since been disbanded, the many legends and stories of the wizards and witches still survive to this day. The Rainbow Wizards, known collectively as Magiranger, disappeared and were scattered to the wind. Though rumors persist, nobody knows their true whereabouts. Sightings of them have been frequently off and on since the fall of Magitopia, but they are quick to escape before they are ever caught. As for the children of the Rugrid Family, they have all gone their separate ways".
Fade to black. End scene
A/N: I know how far along the show is now, and I'm aware what DT said. Frankly, though, that doesn't matter to me in the slightest. For one thing, this is my story and I plan on going through with it no matter whose against it. Two great fanfic writers I know ALSO have ongoing Luz X OC/Amity X OC type story, and I plan on finally casting my hat in the ring. Don't get me wrong, I like Lumity. It's got good development, and it doesn't seem forced, unlike CatrAdora, but that's not the issue. Anyway, a writer once told me, in regards to Luz X OC/Amity X OC fanfiction, just because I'm late to the party DOESN'T mean I can't still join. So whether you support me or not doesn't matter, nothing's gonna stop me. You can't make me quit! EVER!
*Inhale, then exhale* Glad I got that off my chest.
I was originally going to wait until I finished the first chapter. But recently, the nerd community suffered another great loss. It seems that, even though we just recently lost Kevin Conroy, the sadness was to continue. To that end, I felt it it necessary to move ahead with the release of the prologue. I will continue on with my Super Sentai crossover series in his memory. For those who wish to take a moment of silence, you may.
