Chapter 1: The Kings of RWMS

One morning at Royal Woods Middle School, the students were just arriving. Vanzilla pulled up to the school, and Lincoln and Lynn got out of it.

"Bye kids, have a good day." Rita told them.

"Bye, Mom." said Lincoln.

"See ya." Lynn replied.

Then Rita drove off. Lynn went off to her friends, and Lincoln saw that Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Zack, and Stella were standing in front of the school.

"Hey guys." he greeted.

Everyone greeted him happily.

"Where's Bessie?"

"She's not here yet, but wait here comes." informed Clyde.

A school bus pulled up, and the special door for wheelchairs opened, and Bessie got off. When she saw her friends, she rolled over to them.

"Hey guys, what's up?"

"Morning, how you doin', Bessie?" Liam asked.

"Oh, I'm fine. Just rolling in."

They all giggled at the joke.

"Hey, here comes the terrible trio." replied Zack in a monotone voice.

Pulling into the school's driveway were three luxurious cars. Out of a red cadillac came a 12-year-old boy with tanned skin, brown eyes, and short black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt underneath an expensive green jacket, blue jeans, and black sneakers.

This boy was named Harry. He was the son of two CEOs and was very wealthy. Then in a black volvo came a dark skinned 13-year-old boy with brown eyes, and short stubby black hair. And he was wearing a blue long sleeved shirt, gray jeans, and white sneakers.

He was named Josh, and his parents owned a chain of hotels and restaurants. And then finally, a blue bently pulled up, and out of it came a 12-year-old boy. He had light skin, black hair in a cowlick, and blue eyes.

His clothes consisted of a black t-shirt, expensive looking jeans, red sneakers, and a brown jacket. This boy was a fairly new transfer student to Royal Woods Middle School. His name was Kevin Fluggerbutter, and his parents owned a large and successful candy company.

The three liked to call themselves the Kings of Royal Woods Middle School or the RWMS, and were the typical rich guy jerks who believed that they were better than everyone else just because of their money.

After getting out of their cars, the three boys grouped together and went inside.

"Just ignore them, guys." Lincoln advised.

Then the bell rang, and all the students had to go inside.

At her locker, Bessie had just finished getting her books. She then closed her locker, and started wheeling herself to her first class. As she was rolling down the hall, she saw Kevin who was talking on his cell phone.

But as she was rolling past him, one of the wheels on her chair accidentally ran over Kevin's foot.

"Oww!" he cried.

"Oops." said Bessie, stopping.

Kevin grabbed his foot, and then saw Bessie, and glared at her.

"Aaahh. That really hurt." he told her.

"Oh, sorry I didn't see your foot there." Bessie apologized.

"Dang it, you did that on purpose. You knew I was standing behind you. Ow, I think it's bruised. And these were new shoes."

Kevin's snobby attitude was started to get Bessie mad.

"Excuse me, I did not. And they're just shoes. Besides I just said I was sorry."

"They may be just new shoes to you but they're expensive. These shoes cost $200. I need to get to the nurse. Ah, just get away from me, whoever you are." Kevin snapped.

"With pleasure." Bessie snapped back.

And she rolled away from him, and to her first class.

"Gee, hope I never run into that guy again." Bessie whispered.
