"Scrooge," said Miguel, "and no, merely an ass."
"They ripped it off for a movie in the eighties? And this Marley – Bob Marley?"
"No," said Miguel, "and it was the forties."
Johnny snorted. "Angels? That's Miyagi-Do level wimpy."
Miguel's eyes shuttered. "I thought you might like it."
The ghosts of his past haunt him enough. He doesn't need to fight his future ghosts, too. "We only get one shot at life, kid."
But the chance of a do-over was tempting.
