(Team Rocket Laboratories Building)

A woman and her Eevee are sitting in a room with several chairs and a coffee table. The room is lit by neon advertisements from a nearby window.

Lucario walks in holding a tray with 2 cups and a bowl filled with water. Followed by a Man in Team Rocket uniform.

Grace: "Hello Simon."

Simon: "Hi Grace, tell me, how's the prototype working for you?"

Grace: "It appears to be working in perfect condition."

Simon: "Show me."

The Gem on Eevee's necklace glows dark blue and evolves into an Umbreon.

Simon: "Seems to be working well, but some testing should be done to be sure."

Grace: "Well, I'm glad to hear. but I'm here to know about the murder."

Simon: "Why would the PIA waste their time with a murder? Don't you people have a gym to inspect?"

Grace: "Inspecting gyms are not the only thing we do at the PIA. You see, since your founder attempted to transfer the consciences of every human in the city into their Pokémon; the Battle Agency became interested."

Simon: "You know there's nothing that the BA can do to change this city's stance on pokemon battles. right?."

Grace: "We're not here looking to change things, we're here to embrace them. We came here because we wanted to know what exactly makes this city tick, including the gift you gave my Eevee."

Simon: "Lucario, take these ladies to sector 32b. Take as much time as you need to inspect the bodies. Just be careful not to touch anything."

Grace: "Thank you, Simon."

Umbreon turned back into Eevee and bowed in thanks; the necklace stopped glowing. Lucario led them out of the room, and Simon got up to stare out the window.

(Rooftop of Eclipsa's apartment)

Charizard opened his eyes to see that he was in a small room, surrounded by filtering systems and air conditioners.

He gets up and hears slimy footsteps from outside. He stands beside the maintenance door and waits for it to open.

A Goodra opens the door and, in less than a second, the Charizard puts the Goodra's back onto the floor. Scarred, the Goodra tries to get away, but the Charizard steps on its tail.

Before he could burn the Goodra, two humans and a Snivy stepped forward, trying to calm him down. He looked around and noticed that there was a medical kit on a nearby table.

He looks at the Snivy remembering that she helped him. he stands down and Goodra now free, ran to go behind Francisco.

Eclipsa: "Hey, I'm sure you're very confused right now, but we're not here to hurt you; I promise."

She said while slowly approaching the Charizard. He growled loudly at her, warning her to back off. Eclipsa opened her hands to reveal that she had mushrooms.

Charizard sniffed the mushrooms and got closer; he thought about it for a bit, but then realized that the Snivy could help him for something else.

Eclipsa: "See, nobody's gonna hurt you."

the charizard eats the mushrooms then grabs Snivy, next he jumps off the roof onto a fire escape and he starts climbing down.

Francisco, Eclipsa, and Goodra ran to the staircase and ascended as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, Charizard reaches the bottom and takes a paper bag, placing Snivy inside and wrapping the bag around his shoulder.

Francisco: "I told you this was a bad idea! Now he's got Snivy, and there's no telling what this wild Charizard will do next!"

Eclipsa: "Don't worry, Snivy will be fine; we predicted this."

Francisco: "Wait, so you knew that this was going to happen?"

They got to the garage floor and got into Francisco's pickup truck.

Eclipsa: "Think about it, if you were running from the law and woke up to find out you had been kidnapped by a group of people, wouldn't you run too? So we put a tracker in him."

Francisco: "I'm not even gonna ask about that, so what about the Snivy getting kidnapped part?"

Eclipsa: "That, I didn't predict."

(At the fight club.)

By noon, Charizard and Snivy had arrived at the Fight Club. Though Snivy was still struggling in the bag. As Charizard took the Snivy out, he placed her on a window sill.

"Charizard," he said, telling her about the invitation. She yelled, "Snivy!" clearly mad at him.

"Char," he said in an apologetic tone. "Snivy," she said, assuring him that she would help him. Charizard almost smiled, but he caught himself and suppressed it immediately.

Snivy opened the window and jumped in to search. However, they soon heard footsteps; Charizard ducked down, while Snivy hid under the desk.

Several people walk into the room, one with a small device of some kind. The boss also puts the invitation on the desk.

Gang boss: "So, how does this thing work?"

Scientist: "Well, it's simple really. This is a beacon, and what it does is that it creates a strong sonic frequency to anything wearing the headset."

Gang member: "Is that what the Lugia's wearing?"

Scientist: "yes."

Gang boss: "Can we test it?"

Scientist: "I'm afraid you can't, it's a one-time thing. You see, the beacon is going to cause Lugia an immense amount of pain.

As the scientist spoke, Snivy used a vine to sneakily place the invitation through the window for Charizard to grab.

Scientist: It'll literally do anything to make it stop. Including destroying an entire boat full of people."

Gang boss: "That's what the invitation is for."

Scientist: "Yes, you will also need this."

The scientist handed him a Ultra Pokéball; Snivy took a chance and got out the window, but she hesitated to hear more.

Scientist: "You'll need this once everything is done and over with."

Gang boss: "Good, now…"

The sound of honking interrupts him, it was Francisco's pickup truck. Eclipsa steps out.

Eclipsa: "Hey, what are you doing up there? Is this some sort of secret hideout or something?"

The gang boss looks through the window and sees them; he notices that the invitation is gone, so he gestures everyone out of the room.

Eclipsa: "Snivy, are you ok?"

Charizard looked into the room again to see that the scientist was the only one inside. Charizard then took Snivy and started climbing down quickly.

Charizard jumps onto the back of the truck, while Snivy rushes Eclipsa to get back inside. As they do, the side mirror gets shot off, prompting Francisco to hit the gas and drive away from there.

More gunfire could be heard before it stopped. Charizard got under the soft tonneau cover to hide.

Francisco: "What was that?"

Eclipsa: "I don't know, I know as much as you do."

Snivy shows Eclipsa the invitation, she reads it and gets excited. Francisco glanced at her in confusion.

Francisco: "What? Why are you happy? We almost died!"

Eclipsa: "We've got the invitation to the funeral. Wait, Snivy, how did you get this? Why did you get this?"

"Snivy," she said, pointing to Charizard, who was hidden under the truck cover. Eclipsa looked at the invitation again and then looked back.

(Outside the RCPD.)

A gang member and his Scyther are released from the station. They began walking down the sidewalk as Grace and Leo watched them from their SUV.

Leo: "Are you sure this is a good idea to follow them?"

Grace: "Well did you get anything out of him?"

Leo: "No, he basically told me what he told you. About running some donut ice cream shop or something, I don't know."

Grace: "You mean Dunkin Robbins?"

Leo: "Well he never mentioned Dunkin Robbins."

Grace takes her radio out to speak to her Umbreon.

Grace: "Eva, I'm going to be gone for a bit; keep us updated, okay?"

"Umbre" Eva replied before Grace put the radio down and started the SUV.

Leo: "What are you doing?"

Grace: "He's using Dunkin Robbins as a cover story, meaning wherever they're hiding, a DR isn't too far from them."

As Grace drives off, Eva in her Umbreon form continues to follow them in darkness.

(Francisco's house)

Soon, they arrived at Francisco's house; the group looked back as Charizard jumped out. Snivy wrapped the invitation in a ball of vines.

They all got out, Eclipsa holding Snivy in her hands, Charizard walking up to them expecting them to hand him the invitation.

Eclipsa took a few steps back, causing Charizard's tail to flare up. Goodra stepped in between, ready to defend them.

Charizard begins growling at Goodra, while Francisco watches from the other side of the truck, suddenly getting an idea.

Francisco: "Hey…"

Charizard turns his head to stare at him, startling him a bit.

Francisco: "How do you expect to get in? They're not going to just let a Charizard in without someone with him, especially when there's a rogue Charizard running around."

Eclipsa: "He's right, you need us."

They all went inside, and Charizard went to the backyard overlooking the city.

They circled around a coffee table with an invitation on it, still wondering what Charizard wanted them for.

Francisco: "So...what now?"

Eclipsa: "Well, he wants it for some reason, I don't know why."

Francisco: "What if he's working for Team Rocket?"

Eclipsa: "I'm not sure if he does, there are a lot of scratches and scars on his wings, specifically the logo."

Francisco: "You're suggesting that he did that to himself?"

Eclipsa: "not entirely, but it is a possibility."

"Snivy" She said as she pulled out a piece of paper with a mechanical device and a Lugia drawn on it.

Eclipsa: "What?!"

Francisco: "What did she just say?"

"Snivy" She said several times explaining the situation.

Eclipsa: "She just said that there's a Lugia somewhere, and this device is supposed to attract it. Wait, why?"

"Snivy" She said, Eclipsa looked up in shock, clearly worried about what's going to happen.

Eclipsa: "They're going to use the Lugia to kill everyone on that boat."

(Near the fight club.)

Grace and Leo walked around the block; the SUV was parked in front of the Dunkin' Donuts.

Grace: "find anything?"

Leo: "No."

Grace looked up in disappointment but noticed a security camera on one of the streetlights.

Grace: "How about that?"

She nodded her head to the camera; Leo looked up at it, then went to the SUV and pulled out a laptop.

Leo: "It only goes back 24 hours."

Grace: "That's good enough."

Leo plugs the laptop into the streetlight. A live feed appears on the screen and he begins rewinding it.

Grace: "Hang on, go forward a bit."

Leo lets the feed go and a red truck rushes down the street with a bent mirror and some bullet holes.

Grace: "Zoom in on that license plate."

As Leo zooms in, an icon appears above the license plate; Leo clicks on the icon, and it reveals that the truck belongs to Francisco.

Leo: "Wait a minute, I know this guy."

Grace: "Can he provide us with valuable information."

Leo: "Yes, he can."

(At Francisco's house.)

Eclipsa walked in wearing a dark blue dress; Francisco looked at her, seemingly frozen in a trance.

Eclipsa: "Well, what do you guys think?"

Francisco: "You look-good, like real good."

Eclipsa: "Thanks, your suit looks awesome too."

They blushed a bit; Goodra and Snivy looked at each other, knowing full well just how much their two humans liked each other.

Knocking can be heard, to which Francisco gets to the door.

Francisco: "Who is it?"

Leo: "Hi, this is Leo. A friend and I have a few questions to ask you about your truck."

Francisco let them in. Upon seeing the Charizard in the backyard, Leo put his hand over his gun, but Grace stopped him before he drew it.

Grace: "That's not a fight you'll win."

Eclipsa: "Besides, he's with us."

Leo: "You guys have some explaining to do."

(In a warehouse at the docks.)

Meanwhile, Eva the Eevee has been following the gang member and his Scyther for some time. Eventually leading to a warehouse.

They entered through the main entrance, while Eva decided to enter through a side window.

As she makes her way through the facility, Eva discovers a large cryo chamber and several speedboats.

Eva's necklace then glows purple and evolves into an Espeon; she uses the radio to report what she sees.

Grace: "Good, I'll text you where I'm at currently."
