The afternoon was somewhat busy as waiters and waitresses, all clad with white dress shirts underneath black vests, ties, and dress shoes, but wore black pants for men and black skirts for women, were hard at work taking orders and delivering food carts to customers.

But amongst a particular table lies Teams RWBY, JNPR, CRDL, and CFVY alongside Headmaster Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch.

While most of the teams were wearing the same outfits during their observations with Jaune's test runs with his jetpack, the blonde leader of JNPR wore his trademark outfit for the restaurant (which is pretty much his Vol. 1 attire).

Team CFVY on the other hand forgo their Hunter attires and simply wear at least normal outfits.

Coco wears a black dress shirt underneath a chocolate vest with a brown tie, and black pants, though she still has on her boots, gloves, sunglasses, and beret.

Fox has on a simple orange shirt, black cargo pants, and black shoes.

Velvet got on a dark red shirt with long sleeves, khaki pants, and brown loafers.

And Yatsuhashi wears a forest green kimono with faded yellow trimmings, brown hakama pants, brown tabi socks, and black geta sandals.

Yet despite waiting to take their orders, the four teams couldn't help but enjoy the quiet but vibrant atmosphere within the interiors of the restaurant, alongside the list of food and drinks that's on the menu.

"This restaurant rocks," Cardin smirked as he sits next to his team, enjoying the scenery alongside everyone else. "I just can't wait to get my meal ready."

"Mr. Winchester, this is a restaurant that's big enough for four teams and two facility members to dine in," Glynda pointed out as she sat next to Ozpin, still in her regular attire. "Just be grateful that all of us are able to eat together like this."

"Especially with all the amazing food that we can eat," Nora chirped as she quickly scans the menu like a hungry animal.

"You still need to pay for your food, Ms. Valkyrie."

"Awe," the orange-haired young woman groaned. "Yes professor."

With a quick nod, Glynda resumes looking at the menu as she drinks a glass of water that was delivered earlier.

The rest of the student teams were either looking through the menus, are chatting with each other, or are just sitting there in silence.

"I'm surprise you're willing to treat us like this, Headmaster," Pyrrha replied, feeling surprised that Ozpin is willing to offer them dinner in a restaurant.

"It's something I wanted to invite all of you to attend, especially since you and the others are able to become acquainted with Mr. Arc during his time at Beacon," Ozpin explained as he adjusted his sunglasses. "Especially since his performance with using his jetpack have proven successful so far."

"But even still, further testing may be important before Jaune can use the jetpack for missions and training," The female blonde professor replied as she puts the menu on the table. "Anything can happen despite the tests being successful."

"Well, I can understand that." The redhead nodded.

"Plus, at least Jaune can get some upgrades for the jetpack as well," Ruby added, scanning the menu for cookie-related deserts. "Especially if it includes mounted guns for ranged combat."

"I'm not sure about that Ruby," Jaune shrugged his head. "I'm more a melee fighter at best, aside from Pyrrha training to become a better combatant."

"Even still, it doesn't hurt to have more options for combat," the young reaper replied, putting the menu down to look at the young blonde man with her silver eyes. "Especially if you want your jetpack to be built for combat."

That response made Jaune think for a bit before he sighed.

"I'll include some guns for the jetpack, Ruby," the leader of Team JNPR relented, much to the young reaper's approval. "Especially since I don't want to risk endangering myself without proper range weapons."

"Also add some rocket launchers," Nora added. "With all the weapons being mounted even without the jetpack being turned on."

"That too," Jaune nodded.

Without warning, a waitress came to ask what the group wanted to order, until all of them stated what they want to eat for dinner, in which the waitress gladly pulled out a small notepad with a pencil before writing down the list of order that each person in the large table wanted.

Once everyone got their order set up, the waitress told them to wait for several minutes until she heads back to the kitchen to have the food ready for them.

Even still, once they wait for their food to arrive, the group either did some small talk (when Yang, Nora, and surprisingly Sky isn't doing any of their silly antics), there are others that wanted some time to themselves.

But for the redhead, she felt unsure what she could talk about until the team member of JNPR decided to speak out.

"So," Pyrrha decided to bite the bullet as she asked the others who are waiting for their food. "Is anyone willing to talk about any plans in mind? Because I wonder what any of us could do during out time in Beacon Academy."

"I can start," Jaune offered, easing the redheaded teammate's concerns.

"I just want to not only make updates on my jetpack to be more suited for missions, but I want to improve my combat skills alongside my Aura usage as well," the blonde stated. "I know I won't be as strong as you guys, but I'll try to be an effective leader to Team JNPR and to others as well."

"Nice goals you have, Jaune," Yang nodded. "Keep this up, and I might drop the 'Vomit Boy' title very quickly."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Hey, if I really want to keep teasing you on that nickname, would I say this right now?"

". . . I'll take that into consideration."

"Good," The blonde brawler nodded before turning towards his redheaded teammate. "How about you, P-money? Anything you planned in mind?"

"Well, I do want to help Jaune out with his fighting skills, but I wouldn't mind letting him teach me on being more social," Pyrrha rubbed the back of her head nervously. "Besides, nothing wrong with both of us wanting to learn from each other."

"Don't tell me you have feelings towards Jaune, right?" Dove opened one of his eyes briefly while giving a mischievous smirk.

"What . . . I . . . Dove," said redheaded teammate of JNPR stammered, her cheeks running red. "I wouldn't mind letting Jaune choose who he wants as long he treats everyone around him as regular people, that's it. Plus, I wouldn't mind if he wants us to be friends, right Jaune?"

Said blonde blushed nervously. "I don't mind that, Pyrrha."

For now, Nora, Ruby, Yang, Dove, Sky, Coco, Fox, and surprisingly Velvet smirk and or give a small smile, knowing that these two are trying to hide their feelings towards each other.

"Anyway," the Mistralian redhead decided to change topics. "How about you, Nora? Any plans in mind?"

"Well . . ." The orange-haired young woman drifted off a bit before something came back to her. "Ren and I decided that we need to update our weapons for better combat. Plus, we decide to get married."

"WHAT!?" Everyone barring Ozpin and Glynda shouted.

Even Blake, Dove, and Yatsuhashi opened their eyes up in shock.

"Are you serious?" Weiss barely shrieked. "Both of you are still young; are you sure you two wanted to do this?"

"I told Nora that we should wait a year before deciding whether or not we should get married." Ren explained, a small smile coming to his face. "She understandably agrees to these terms, so yeah."

Coco notices that Ozpin and Glynda weren't even phased one bit. "Aren't you two shocked over this?"

"No, of course not," Ozpin stated as he sips his mug. "As long as they won't cause too much trouble, I'll accept this. Besides . . . "

The grey-haired man looks at his golden band before glancing at the female blonde professor who had on a similarly styled golden band.

". . . Glynda and I did get married sometime during our youth."

"Like how young?" The leader of Team CFVY dreaded that answer.

"Around our early twenties while training to become Hunters."

Everyone's eyes start to widen even further than before, not that it bothered the two adults one bit.

"Is this true, Professor Goodwitch?" Blake asked, trying to keep her composure.

"Of course," Glynda nodded simply. "Though I do insist on keeping my maiden name regardless."

Blake rested her head on the table, contemplating her life choices right now.

"Coagulations, you two," Ren nodded, giving respect to both Ozpin and Glynda despite the shock the rest of the teams had, barring Nora of course. "I hope things go well for the both of you."

"Thank you, Mr. Ren." Ozpin replied, sipping his cup of coffee.

"Okay, uhm, does anyone else want to talk about their plans for the future?" Jaune suggested, trying to keep things from getting out of hand, especially as the rest of Team RWBY try to ease their teammate's plight.

"Well, Ruby, Blake, Yang and I have been working on our team combination attack skills," Weiss stated with a straight face, or at least was after hearing the surprising news from both Nora and Ren announcing their wedding, aside from Ozpin and Glynda admitting they were married. "Though Blake did suggest we learn how to fight solo alongside in pairs."

"Is this true Blake?" Jaune asked.

Said girl tilted her head towards him to nod before returning her face towards the table.

"Okay, then," The leader of Team JNPR felt he got everything down for Team RWBY. "Anyone else?"

"Heh," Cardin smirked. "I decide to take some business-related course so that way I can start my own business after I graduate from Beacon Academy."

"Anything in mind?"

"I'm working on it at the moment."

"How about you, Russell?" Jaune asked. "I'm wondering what plans you have in mind."

"I have some plans to upgrade my twin curved sword revolvers," the mohawk guy stated like it was no big to him.

"What kind of upgrades in particular?"

"Maybe have it combine into a double barrel shotgun with revolvers barrels with two curved sword attachments at the barrel that can turn into a large, curved sword." Russell explained. "Also, I did consider adding some grappling hooks to my weapons as well."

The blonde felt surprised to hear about it. "Wow . . . I just hope things go smoothly for you, Russell."

"Thanks," said teammate from CRDL nodded, appreciating the compliment.

"Anything for you, Dove?" Pyrrha asked.

"Sky and I decided to train on furthering the effectiveness of our Semblances," Dove stated. "Sky gave me some pointers on how to use my Semblance more effectively while helping him train more better on his Semblance."

"So, what are they?"

"My Semblance uses echolocation to detect opponent, while Sky's Semblance can enhance his senses," Dove explained. "I'm going to further train mine to create sound-based attacks while helping Sky improve his senses."

"Yes, and the training felt good," Sky nodded in a carefree tone. "I can use my senses better."

"Aside from that, how about Team CFVY?" Ren noted, wondering about his upperclassmen and their goals in mind.

"I might continue my studies to help run the family business, especially since I's a heiress to my company," Coco stated. "However, I may have to deal with some . . . unsavory folks that have a less than stellar view on how they should treat others around them, especially how they treat others of financial backgrounds and/or Fanus like traits."

None of teams are sure why, but they all felt that Coco may need some aid in dealing with this issue, which include some . . . questionable people as well.

To Weiss, she could relate to the older upper classmate due to their status as heiresses and having to deal with unsavory people all the time, especially with her internal conflict with a certain Jacques Schnee in mind.

"Anything you have in mind, Fox?" Jaune asked.

"I might continue training to become a better fighter for my team," the rust-themed teammate of CFVY stated. "Other than that, I'm good for now."

"Okay," the leader of Team JNPR said, surprised on the dark-skinned young man's statement. "How about you, Velvet?"

"I might decide to also train as a medic while becoming a Huntress," the rabbit Fanus answered, though a little bit nervous at that. "Especially since I don't want to see others get hurt in combat."

"Alright then," Pyrrha noted until she looked at the rabbit Fanus' larger teammate. "How about, you Yatsuhashi? Any plans in mind?"

"I may need time to train further improve my speed and reflexes alongside learning more skills related to my Semblance," The short-haired teammate from CFYVY replied, his tone feeling serious yet mature at the same time. "Not only that, but I also do want to become a combat instructor while protecting my hometown within Mistral."

I can understand that Yatsuhashi, Ren nodded internally, recalling a particular incident that occurred during his childhood.

Something the teammate from JNPR also remembered something painful as well, which Nora couldn't help but nod in a somber tone.

"So, how about you two," Pyrrha asked, glancing at the headmaster and his married assistant/combat instructor.

"Nothing too much to be honest, aside from making sure you students succeed in becoming licensed Hunters of course. But Glynda and I weren't dealing with a lot of paperwork lately, which is good to be honest." The grey-haired man gave a small smile. "Makes things less tedious to deal with while running the Academy."

"Aside from ensuring you students are doing well in your classes," the glasses' wearing professor added. "Especially since none of you are doing any shenanigans so far in Beacon Academy of course."

The mood became silent as all four teams don't want to get on Glynda's bad side.

But even still, they somehow felt like they can agree on one thing with their professors:

Paperwork is terrible.

When all the sudden, a few waiters and waitresses were bringing in carts of food and drinks for everyone in the table prior to placing all the plates of food and drinks to each of the teams and their instructors before moving right back out to take other customers orders but did want to hear what deserts any of them would like.

"The food looks very nice," Velvet couldn't help but stare at her plate of spaghetti and vegetables with a few garlic rolls, a plate of salad, and a cup of fruit punch.

"Of course, Ms. Scarlatina," Ozpin nodded as he begins to eat a plate of cooked steak next to mashed potatoes and cooked string beans with a mug of coffee.

"Anything else in mind to discuss before we start eating?" Ruby asked, staring at her plate of spaghetti and meat sauce, aside from a cup of milk.

"I forgot to mention," something came to Yang's mind, causing her to prevent the blonde brawler from munching on a meatball sub with French fries that was next to a cup of lemon lime soda.

"What is it?" Coco gave an odd look, wanting to eat a plate of lasagna and a few rolls of bread next to a drink of dark soda.

"When Ruby, Weiss, Blake and I were around a bar at Junior's place a few days ago . . ."

"More like you dragged us there," Blake corrected, unable to dine at her spaghetti with cooked salmon just yet near a cup of plain water.

". . . I want you girls just to relax a little," The blonde brawler defended. "Especially Ice Queen over there."

"Oh joy," said white-haired teammate of RWBY snarked, who was barely dining on her plate consisting of grilled chicken, baked potatoes, and a few rolls of bread with butter nearby, instead drinking a glass of iced tea as a response.

"But anyway, as I was chatting with Junior on how the bar is doing since my last visit, all the sudden, some lame guy with this terrible leather jacket who think he's some rebel came over to my team and started trying to flirt on them nonstop." Yang continued. "I told him to get lost alongside stop harassing my teammates, he started ranting that he can't any hot chicks since he's stuck living with that so called redhead beauty that he claimed was a bat-like freak of nature and starts demanding that we get 'well-acquainted with him.

"Basically, all four us declined, especially since Ruby is still fifteen, the guy had a problem with that and tried to attack us with folding knife, and I basically beat him up senseless when he tried to go after Ruby," Yang finished.

"And what happened to him?" Nora asked, swallowing her plate full of hotdogs and fries when she drinks her cup of green soda.

"Gone to the hospital with nasty injuries, though Junior did promise to defend on my team's behalf if that guy decides to sue us," Yang replied. "Especially since I did agree to pay Junior back for all the damages that I had made some time ago as an apology once I become a Huntress, though I don't mind paying him a little early just to ease things up."

"And who is that guy's name?" Jaune kept himself from being startled, the mere mention of a redhead that have bat-like wings with the term 'freak' alerted him for some reason, leaving him to not touch his cheeseburger with fries with a cup of orange juice.

"That creep's name was Rad Stoneman, why?" Yang answered.

The leader of Team JNPR felt silent for a moment until he decides to look at blonde teammate from RWBY. "I'm just asking, that's all."

". . . okay then," The brawler couldn't make out what the blonde leader of JNPR was asking about, deciding to instead dine on her plate of food.

With that out of the way, everyone in the table resumes or start eating their food, each of them deciding to have some small talk if not eating in silence just like before.

However, for the leader of Team JNPR, he was deep in his thoughts regarding that guy Yang had mentioned around a bar some time ago.

A very familiar guy when . . .

"Jaune, are you okay?" Pyrrha asked. "You seemed spaced out for a bit."

"Sorry, just thinking about something personal." Jaune replied.

"Yeah, of course," Pyrrha nodded, not wanting to pry any further before she decided to eat her plate of salad with chicken next to a cup orange juice to herself.

Though Jaune decided to eat his plate of food, he has a nagging feeling that something bad is going to happen.

Even still, he wanted to believe that it just his nerves getting on to him about his fears happening soon and not something that could occur in the future.

Sadly for the leader of Team JNPR, in his experience, anything can go wrong.
