Chapter 7
"Finally, we're here!" Beck hopped out of the car, followed by everyone else, the sun was still up, but it was close to starting to set.
"Wow, this is really beautiful, Beck!" Trina smiled, linking arms with an unsuspecting Andre. "Don't you think so, Andre?"
"Uh, yeah," Andre moved away from Trina's grasp, keeping his distance. "Uh, Tor," he rushed over to his friend, whispering over to her. "Stay close to me, please."
Tori smiled, linking her arm with his and walking toward the house.
"Oh, wow, you guys!" Danielle beamed. "What a place, huh? This is so fantastic. Look at everyone!" She stood before everyone as they stared at her step onto the porch of the house. "I mean, I just want to take a mental picture of this moment." She placed her hands before her face, moving her index finger as if she was holding a camera and pressing on the button. "Click!"
Trina blinked, and Jade and Andre exchanged looks, while Tori just stared on in awe.
"Hey, uh, Danielle , I don't think I saw a flash." Said Andre.
"Alright, let's all go inside." Beck grabbed onto Jade's arm.
"This is who you want to pair Tori up with? Really?" Jade whispered over to her boyfriend.
"Be nice, Jade." Said Beck, placing a kiss on the goth's cheek.
Tori rapidly blinked, looking away from the lovey dovey scene taking place before her.
"You know, Andre," Trina smiled. "If there isn't enough room where you could sleep tonight, you and I could always share a room." She winked.
Andre's lips parted. "Uh, thanks Trina, but… I'm sure I'll be fine."
The house was spacious, two floors and white from inside and out. The door and shutters were a navy blue color. The furniture was beige, and the kitchen was big, all tile, a light gray color. There was no television set, but the home didn't really need that when just looking out the window, you had the best view you could ever feast your eyes on. It had some antique chairs here and there, especially outside on the porch, which Beck's dad never had the heart to get rid of.
"Alright, so each room is set for you all to bunk in," Beck set down his luggage. "Everyone help yourselves to anything here. It's your home for the weekend." He smiled.
"Alright," Danielle smiled, her arm wrapping around Tori's waist. "So, do you think the beds are big enough for two?" She asked her, winking.
Beck smirked, "Someone's getting lucky tonight."
Jade frowned, quickly picking up Danielle luggage. "Think fast, Dani." She tossed her luggage at her with all her might, causing the woman to grunt as it impacted against her chest.
"Hey, nice arm you have there." Dani said, still feeling the impact against her chest.
"Let's get some drinks going." Beck looked over at Jade. "We restocked from last time, right?"
Jade nodded, reaching over for her luggage and Beck's, her eyes on Tori who picked up her own luggage.
"Do you need help with that?" She asked the brunette.
Tori shook her head, "From the looks of it, you have your hands full."
"Hey, give me a drink!" Danielle rushed into the kitchen, right behind Beck and Trina, while Andre headed up the stairs.
"Thank you for," Tori motioned toward Danielle .
"She's a creep if I ever saw one." Jade replied, her stomach turning inside out. "You just let me know if she bothers you again."
Tori chuckled, stopping mid stair, meeting Jade's gaze. "You don't have to play hero with me, Jade. I'm perfectly capable of handling her."
Jade looked over to the kitchen, seeing Beck being kept busy by Trina and Danielle , all three of them holding a drink in their hands before turning her attention back to Tori.
"Tori," she whispered. "I really want us to talk this weekend."
"Not here, Jade-" Tori kept moving up the stairs, her head turned at the feel of the goth's hand wrap around her arm. "Jade-"
"Please," she pleaded. "Just meet me outside. We'll take a walk along the beach."
A walk along the beach with Jade sounded like a great way to spend her time. Besides, they weren't going to do anything, just talk. What harm could come from that?
She nodded, quickly heading up the stairs.
"Hey Babe?" Jade turned to the sound of Beck's voice, her eyes falling on an extra bottle he held out for her. "What's going on?"
"Nothing," Jade reached for the beer bottle, taking a drink.
"Come on, you can put the luggage away later." Beck smiled, reaching for Jade's hand while guiding her into the kitchen with their friends.
Tori changed into a simple but beautiful black floral dress that ended above the knee. It was perfect to wear for a night at the beach. She could hear everyone's voices downstairs as she made her way down the hallway and down the stairs. Eyes were on her in an instant.
Jade's lips parted at the sight of how beautiful Tori looked tonight. She looked beautiful in anything she wore, but this dress was just spectacular on her. Her eyes were glowing as she gawked her way. Something Tori took notice of.
Beck whistled, "Look at you all dressed up!"
Danielle's mouth fell open, her head turned to Andre once she felt him smack her on the arm.
"You can roll your tongue back up now." Andre said.
"What's the occasion?" Asked Beck with a smirk to her.
"It's just a dress, I was thinking about taking a walk along the beach later." Her eyes looked to Jade.
"Hey, that sounds great!" Beck beamed, turning to Danielle . "Danielle , you should go with her." He agreed .
"No!" Jade blurted out, seeing all eyes turn to her. "Uh," she turned to Beck. "It'll be night time by then, and they could get lost." Her eyes turned to Tori. "Why don't we all just… Make a nice bonfire and hang out in the sand?"
She had to make up another way to spend their time. The last thing she wanted was for Beck to push Danielle toward Tori more and more. Let alone have her walk alone with that gank on the beach.
Beck smiled, wrapping his arm around Jade's bicep. "Hey, that's an even better idea." She turned to Andre and Trina, "Why don't you guys help me grab some drinks, place them in a cooler and we'll take them outside?"
"Sure!" Trina smiled, grabbing a hold of Andre's hand before taking him into the kitchen. "Come on, Andre."
"Danielle , why don't you go help?" Said Jade, glaring at the woman who wouldn't stop drooling over how beautiful Tori looked.
Tori smiled, noticing Jade's jealousy. She never thought she'd see the day she would be jealous over her.
"Danielle ," Jade's voice was more firm, snapping her out of her trance. Her eyes glaring at Andre's cousin. "Help them in the kitchen."
"Right," Danielle looked at Tori once more before heading toward the kitchen.
Jade beckoned Tori to follow her, quickly opening the door and allowing her to step outside first. "Tori and I are going to set up everything for a bonfire outside." She alerted them, hearing an 'okay,' response coming from Beck. Quickly shutting the door, Jade walked along the side of the house, retrieving some logs that were already cut up and ready.
"Do you need help?" Tori offered, watching how expertly Jade tucked each log underneath her arm.
"Yea, careful they're kinda heavy . Lets just set these up and we can go for that walk." They rushed over to a spot on the sand, close to the house.
"We can't just go on a walk now and leave everyone here, Jade." Tori whispered, watching the blonde set up the logs.
"Why not?" Jade chuckled. "It's just a talk, Tori." She stood up right.
"Alright- so talk." Tori stood her ground, crossing her arms over her chest, waiting for the goth to continue.
"Let's just take a walk."
"No, Jade." Tori sighed. "Ever since we slept together, we have been lying, okay? This isn't like me and neither like you. So, just say what you need to say."
"Alright, I can't stop thinking about you." Jade blurted out.
The only sound that was heard next were the waves crashing against the sand. Brown and blue eyes locked in place, a hitched breath was released from Tori's parted lips. Jade couldn't stop thinking about her.
Their heads turned to the sound of laughter coming from the group as they all made their way outside. And that's when both Jade and Tori knew that their time was up.
Tori was about to rush off, when she felt Jade grab a hold of her arm again.
"Promise me we'll talk when we are back in the city." Jade whispered.
"Talk about what? We said we would forget what happened." Tori took back her arm, feeling a sting in her heart as she walked away.
Jade thought about her, and she thought about Jade. But, what did Jade want from her? Another passionate night and it was back to their routine lives, including a wedding? She couldn't do that. As much as she still had feelings for Jade.
Jade blinked, running a hand through her fallen strands of hair in frustration. Even she didn't know what she was doing. Why would she even agree to invite everyone out here where having Tori around was tempting enough? And seeing her with Danielle after having slept with her made feelings in her awaken that she didn't think she had anymore.
Life could be so cruel sometimes.
One bonfire and a couple of beers later, everyone's conversations had gone quiet. Trina sat next to Beck and Jade, while Danielle sat across from Tori, right near Trina. And Andre and Tori sat together, her bare toes curling in the softness of the sand.
"So…" Danielle took a quick sip of her beer. "Anyone can start," she said through the brush of beach wind blowing by them, and the crackling of the fire. "What is the wildest place that you have ever had sex in?"
Beck and Trina smirked, while Jade rolled her eyes and Tori and Andre exchanged looks.
"Trina?" Danielle called out to her.
Trina's smirk grew, "Senior year, my father's car. It was red with leather seats and a strip coming down the middle of the car. He loved that car, and absolutely forbade me to drive it. So we did it in my parent's garage while they slept."
Everyone laughed except Andre who'd been the boy in the car. "It was a nice Car."
"Very nice," Danielle smirked, "I remember after my senior prom, my date, Carly and I..."
"Cat gasped, Sam knows a girl named Carly..."
"not the same girl Kitten" Jade Reassured her friend.
Danielle winked at Cat and continued. "Anyway, we stopped at a movie theater, and we were alone that night, so we totally did it for hours until the movies were done."
"What'd you watch?" Beck asked him, intrigued.
"The entire seven Harry Potter franchise."
Everyone shared a laugh, while Andre snorted, thinking how full of shit his cousin was.
"No way, did you last that long." He said.
"Well… We took breaks." Danielle took another drink. "Alright, let's hear your wild sex story, then. Since you think you're better."
Tori's eyes fell on Beck who cuddled up more to Jade with a happy smile stretched across his lips.
Trina perked up, waiting to hear Andre's story.
Andre's cheeks went pink. "You already did."
Trina blushed.
"Oh, come on!" Beck and Dani encouraged him.
"Come on, Andre. It's all in good fun, did I rock your world that hard?" Trina smirked.
Andre looked over at Tori, who knew about this story before looking down at the sand. "Well," his voice was low. "I had a job once working security at an event. Me and two others were getting ready to head home, while new security guards came in for their shift. My girlfriend at the time was going to pick me up, since my car was getting repaired, only… She ended up coming into one of the stalls with me due to a last round I had to make. Just to check that everything was in place." He took a drink, releasing a sharp breath. "Anyway, one thing led to another and… Yeah."
"Oh, you're kidding!" Beck laughed, along with everyone around them. "Wait, what event was it?"
Andre's blush turned crimson. "Um... Coachella."
Even Tori had to laugh at the memory. She remembered Andre panicking right after, worrying that some of the cameras had picked up on his wild adventure.
"Hey, let's all head inside," Jade could feel the brush of wind starting to pick up. "The air is going to start getting chilly around this hour."
Everyone stood up and began making their way inside, while Jade kicked some sand onto the fire to put it out before heading inside.
Once inside, they all sat around the living room, finishing up their wild sex tales.
"I'm going to call it a night, you guys," Andre grunted as he stood to his feet. "A few too many beers, I'm afraid and I think I've embarrassed myself enough for tonight." He chuckled.
"Good night, Andre," Beck waved, his head lying on Jade's lap.
"Good night."
"Good night," Jade and Tori called out, while Danielle simply waved.
"I think Andre has the right idea," Trina stood up, smiling at everyone. "I'm just going to make sure he doesn't need tucking in."
Tori chuckled, shaking her head. She felt bad for her for trying too hard to gather at least an ounce of Andre's attention.
"So, I bet you guys have a good wild sex story," Dani smirked over at Beck and Jade.
Beck chuckled, while Jade looked away.
"We have many," Beck joked, while Jade looked over to Tori, noticing the pain in her eyes.
"Yeah, but it is getting kinda late," Dani glanced down at her watch, her arm stretching out behind Tori's head, resting against the back of the couch. "Maybe you guys should… Hit the hay?" He nodded his head toward the stairs, wanting Beck and Jade to leave them alone.
Beck smirked, catching on, while Jade's face scrunched up in disgust.
"Right," The tan man sat up, standing from the couch and looking over at Jade. "Come on, babe, time for bed it seems."
"I- I'm not sleepy. I think I'm just going to stay down here with Tori and Dani for a little bit." She looked over at Tori.
"Oh," Beck smirked, eyeing the goth with a raised brow. "Well, if you're not sleepy…" he walked over to her, grabbing a hold of her hand. "All that sex talk has put me in the mood."
Tori frowned, seeing Jade's eyes meet with hers.
"Beck-"
"Come on, we'll create a wild sex tale of our own." Beck turned to Tori and Danielle . "Night all!"
"Good night," Dani smiled.
"Night," Tori murmured, looking at Jade, hating that they were heading upstairs to have sex right now.
Jade kept her gaze trained on Tori, even as she was dragged up the stairs by a persistent Beck. She hated leaving her down here with Danielle , and to imagine her wanting to make a move on Tori when she was clearly not into her, it made her want to throw up in her mouth. Maybe she should, that way Beck would forget about sex for tonight.
Once the door slammed shut upstairs, Danielle decided to scoot a little closer to the serious brunette.
"So, Tor…" Dani smirked. "Since we're up, how about you and I get to know each other a little better?"
Tori turned to face her, deciding to be blunt. "Dani, I don't know if your blind or just dense. I'm not into you. At least not in that way."
Her smirk grew. "Well, that is okay because I'm not into women."
Tori was about to speak when... "Oh! Oh, yeah! Oh, right there- oh, Jade!"
Their eyes and heads looked up, listening to the loud moans coming out of Beck. Tori's stomach turned inside out.
"Oh, God," she muttered, shooting up from the couch and heading straight up the stairs.
"Hey, come on, a little noise doesn't bother me-" Danielle said "we should make some nice sounds ourselves... make them both jealous"
"Good night, Dani." Tori slammed her door shut, hard once she reached her room.
"Alright," Danielle frowned, disappointed that Tori didn't want to understand her plan...
