_Harry_
After arriving at Gryffindor common room, he bid goodbye to her sister and went to his bedroom. There he found Neville already changing into his pyjama, the other boys were yet to arrive. Harry was starting to get his new sleeping clothes out of his trunk went Neville caught his attention.
- Harry, I believe in the Gods too -He said nervously looking at the door.- I won't tell anybody.
Harry hadn't thought that one of his roommates may understand the meaning of what he had done at dinner. He was thankful that Neville didn't appear to know the full truth of his actions, he was probably thinking that he was a believer and not a demigod.
-Thanks, Neville, you are a good friend. Good night.
Neville got into his bed, pulled the curtains and said goodnight too. He was asleep soon afterwards.
He was going to do the same when the door opened. Dean Thomas, Seamus Finegan and Ronald Weasley entered the room, laughing at some joke.
Ron didn't seem to happy to see him because he stopped to laugh, Harry wasn't too happy to see the redhead either. Seamus and Dean just decide it would be safer to get to bed as soon as possible, they changed, said goodnight and closed their curtains.
Ron was a volcano ready to erupt, so Harry got ready for the explosion.
-Harry, why don't you answer to me, we are best mates. It's because of the Dursleys, isn't it? Look we wanted to write to you, but the headmaster said that with Pettigrew out there, it would be safer for you if we didn't do it. He could have intercept our owls and discover where you live.
-No, Weasley. You are not my best mate, if you were you would have found a way to keep in touch. You could have called me, you could have sent a letter through muggle post, you could have visited me in person. But no, you didn't, neither did Hermione. You know how the Dursleys are, how they treated me, and you didn't find a way to contact me, just because Dumbledore told you not to send owls. He didn't tell you not to contact me, did he? I spent the first part of the summer locked there, doing all their chores and they barely give me any food. But don't worry, there are people that care about me now, you know. They saved me from them, they gave a family, they made sure that I enjoyed the rest of the summer. So no Ron, I am not your friend, and I would appreciate if you would leave me alone.
The next morning, he woke up early. Ron was still snoring in this bed, Seamus and Dean were both slept too. Neville's bed was already made, he was getting out of the bathroom as Harry was picking his toiletries and clothes for the day. When he got out of the bathroom, ready for the day Nevile was waiting for him, Thalia was already in the common room waiting for him to go to breakfast, when both boys descended the stairs. The three went to the Hall together talking about the classes. It was clear to Harry, that Neville would have been the better friend that to Ron and Hermione. He promised to himself to be nicer with Neville, and get to know him better and be his friend.
Professor McGonagall saw them and gave them their schedules, just as the three of them had made their offerings to the Gods. He saw happy that he had ancient runes instead of divination, he had asked in the summer for the change. As it was Saturday, they decide to enjoy the last rays of the sun outside by the lake. Not a lot of students were up and they could select a nice place to sit. After lunch, the three parted ways, Neville went to the greenhouses, and he and Thalia got their brooms and a quaffle and spend the afternoon playing.
_Thalia_
Monday 3rd of September 2012, was the first day of school. For most of them, it was just the beginning of a new academic year, but for Thalia was the first day of school ever. Katie Bell, another 5th-year student, had warned her against the sleeping history class and the torture like a class that was potions.
Speaking of the devil, their first class was potions. She hoped that, Lou-Ellen teaching was enough for the exigent potion master. The teacher entered the class, located in the dark and not ventilated dungeon, he dressed all in back, his rope billowing after him and had harsh black eyes.
- This year is your OLWs, for most of you will be the last year that you see me. For my NEWT level classes, I just accept the best of the best, I just accept perfection, a level that I doubt any of you have. Today you are going to brew the easiest potion that might appear in the practical exam. You will work individually, ingredients are in the cupboards and instructions on the board. Now begin, and try not to blow my classroom.
Everyone run to the cupboard to get the ingredients, except Thalia. She looked at the board, deciphered the name of the potion and looked in her potion book, translated to Ancient Greek for the ingredients and instructions. She had bought enough potion ingredients so she didn't need the ones provided. She was one of the small number of students that obtained a result close to the indicated in the book. Her potion was almost colourless, as the recipe indicated, just slightly blue. She hoped it would be enough to get a passing grade.
When she left her sample in the teacher desk to grading Snape asked her to stay behind.
-I know who you are, daughter of Zeus- he said just as the last student exited the room.- Lady Hecate had warned me that there are demigods at Hogwarts, she gave me names. If you need help look after me. I hope you can understand that I have to maintain my facade on class. Now if you don't need anything you can go.
