If you are someone that reads naruto x genshin fics then this will seem familiar to you. This a fic based on the idea i got while i was reading Interwined fates.

"So how long do you think it will take us to reach monstad"

"hmm, We should hunt something for now and rest up before continue searching"

"Yeah! Paimon's hungry"

"you are always hungry"

"hmph, its not paimon's fault that paimon has a big appetite"

"its alright paimon I'm just kidding"

Lumine giggled at paimon's pouting face before patting her head. Even though paimon was annoyed she didn't move lumine's hand rather she seemed pleased with it. She gave a final pat before continuing through the forest.

It has been quite some time since she had met paimon and at her suggestion trying to find a way to monstad to see if the god that paimon talked about could help her. The little fairy like creature had taught her the language of teyvat and was quite amazed when it took her only weeks to learn it. She didn't know what paimon was, she has never met something like paimon in any of her travels so she asked the fairy about it. And to their surprise and worry, the floating fairy couldn't remember anything other than some information about teyvat.

'Paimon doesn't remember what she is…. But it doesn't matter paimon has promised lumine that she will help her find her brother. And paimon will help lumine any way she can'

The floating fairy had said that. Even though she was concerned about it, it still brought a smile when she remembered her promise.

"lumine! Watch out!!"

Lumine looked around looking for what made her companion so alarmed. She heard something, it began to grow louder and louder as if something was approaching her. It felt like……her head snapped up seeing something like a meteor covered in flames rapidly descending towards her. She was so shocked that she was frozen in place. It was only when the little fairy slammed into her trying to move her out of the way that she finally snapped back to reality. Swiftly grabbing paimon she jumped back just as the meteor slammed into the ground the shock wave from the explosion throwing her back. She wrapped her body around paimon so she would take the force of the fall. Her back skidded across the forest ground before rolling into a stop.

"Paimon are you alright" Lumine asked in concern to the self-proclaimed guide she was protectively holding in her arms.

"Paimon is alright". She removed herself from lumine's arms before looking around. The dust cloud formed from the crash was settling down. Her ears were still ringing. "What was that?"

"It looked like a meteor should we check it out" Lumine got up brushing the dirt from her clothing. She turned towards her companion for her answer, only to see her shrug her shoulders. She turned towards the crash site before deciding to check it out. She kept her rusty blade in her hand before approaching the crater. Her ear perked as if she heard something before her eyes widened. Lumine took off towards the crater the fairy still disoriented struggling to keep up with her.

"Hey! What's the great idea, you left paimon behind! " Paimon complained but quieted down once she saw that lumine was not responding . The fairy looked towards lumine to see her with wide eyes filled with shock looking towards the large hole that was made by the crash. Wanting to see what made her companion look like that she turned towards the crater only for her own eyes to widen in shock.

"Wait that meteor hit someone?!" She yelled before rushing inside the crater.

Lumine stared at the person lying inside the crater with wide eyes. The person was a young man, bright blond hair with pure white tips. His hair matted with flecks of blood, his clothing was in tatters as if he had just finished some kind of battle. He had strangely three whisker marks on his face. He was lying in a pool of his own blood, the largest injury being the arm that was missing from the elbow down, most of the bleeding was from there.

"Lumine come on!" Paimon called out from the crater, Lumine started to move towards the crater before stopping and looking around. There were no traces of meteor near the crash site which reaffirmed her suspicions when she saw the person and the crater.

She came to a single conclusion. He was the meteor.
