Eights Months After Naruto's Birthday

Naruto wasn't having the best of days; his girls had fallen ill, Hinata and Hanabi were on some trip to learn more about the clan's external politics with Hiashi, and Satsuki and Sarada weren't available to train or play, Illumi informed him, that Fugaku-Sama had taken the two girls for some secret training, and so once again Naruto was wandering about Konoha, but only a few minutes later, he found himself in front of the gates of the Hyuga Compound, the guards letting him enter and he made his way towards the Main Branch's Inner Compound.

Letting himself in, his sensory abilities guided him to Hitomi, where without a word he fell into her arms and closed his eyes deep in thought, his unusually lethargic self worried Hitomi greatly, but stayed quiet and let Naruto speak first if he wanted to.

"Mama, I don't understand what I'm feeling. It feels like something before I met you or the girls, but it's worse than that, back then it felt like something was missing, or empty, but now, it feels like something different and I don't like it." Naruto quietly whispered, his innocent eyes, filled with emptiness, as he looked up at Hitomi, asking her if she knew what was happening to him.

"Tell me, Sochi, about your day, maybe it holds the answer I can give you," Hitomi replied, her hand stroking Naruto's hair, who leaned into the touch, a small smile on his face. And Naruto did, he told her about his day, becoming increasingly subdued as each word left his mouth, but he did return relatively to his normal self when Hitomi surprised Naruto as she started to tickle him relentlessly, his childish giggles and chortle echoing in the empty room.

"Thank you, Mama." A toothy grin on his face, as Hitomi's hands grabbed his cheeks and played with his whiskers.

"You're welcome, Naruto-Kun, and I know what you are feeling: it is jealousy and a bit of loneliness, but fortunately for you, I have just the solution for it. Since, Naruto-Kun, you have never been outside of Konoha why don't the two of us go on a trip, wherever you want." Hitomi suggested, pleased to see the spark forming in Naruto's eyes, "And I know where we can go."

"Eh, where Mama? Tell me, tell me?" Naruto asked excitedly, trembling in the expectation, Hitomi had to hold down Naruto tight before he could get carried away, laughing at how similar he was to Kushina, boisterous and carefree.

"Hold on a minute, Naruto-Kun, I can't tell you if you don't sit down." Hitomi's words immediately struck Naruto, as he once again sat down in her lap, head bent back, gleeful eyes staring at her, while hers held only motherly love, adoration and amusement. "Good, now I have thought long about this, and I have decided that since you have learned a lot about your clan, and have even proficient in your clan's Kekkei Genkai, I thought that maybe a trip to Uzushiogakure is something you would have to do, so why then when we may as well do it now. But, before you get too excited and start bouncing off the walls, we will have to ask permission from the Hokage, if he would allow us to leave."

"Ehhh, why does Hokage-Sama decide if we can leave or not, can't we just go, it's not like where we're going is anywhere dangerous, and we will have Ko-San with us, right?" Naruto pouted, his arms crossed and upper lip trembling.

"Rules are rules, Naruto-Kun, but don't worry, I'll ask the Hokage, he will agree, it is just a simple trip after all." Hitomi assured Naruto, holding him close to her chest, "And, you know what, I'll even ask him if Wasabi-Chan, Sumire-Chan and Namida-Chan can join us as well."

"Promise, Mama?" Naruto held out his pinky to Hitomi who grabbed it with her own.

"Promise."

After promising and Naruto leaving with a smile on his face, Hitomi asked for Ko to accompany her to the Hokage. They made their way slowly, with civilians and shinobi alike bowing their heads, or respectfully nodding, arriving at the bustling Hokage Tower, with shinobi coming and going; Chunin, Jonin, and Jonin led Genin teams, all with a single purpose, and that everything is done for the sake of Konoha.

Hitomi was easily able to gain a meeting with the Hokage and was now seated in front of him and Illumi who was sitting in on the meeting.

"Greetings, Hokage-Sama, I wish to get straight into business; I would like to take Naruto-Kun out on a trip to Uzushiogakure. Naruto-Kun has learned all he can about his clan from the books and scrolls you and I provided for him, but he wishes to see the ruins of his ancestors in which they were buried, and knowing that Naruto-Kun is a special case, I have come here to request a Shinobi or two of your choosing to guard us throughout the trip."

The Hokage was surprised, yet remained calm, he knew that Naruto would one day seek out his roots but he expected that Naruto would do so at a later stage, but with Hitomi spearheading the matter, the Hokage had no choice but to accept, of course, he would make sure he would send his best to protect Naruto-Kun, and A-Rank mission pay, which would be paid for courtesy of the Hyuga Clan.

"I concur, and will allow Naruto to proceed with his trip, and I will be assigning Kimiko Hatake and Shizune Kato alongside whomever you see fit to bring along. It is currently nearing the end of June, so leave whenever you feel ready, but inform me at least a week before. Also, I can only give you a month at most to fully visit the vast ruins, alongside anything that you may stumble upon." A soft giggle emanated in the room, Illumi responsible for it, a delicate hand covering her face.

"Apologies, Hokage-Sama, Lady Hitomi, I simply find it amusing thinking how my siblings will react when they hear that Naruto-Kun will be away for a month, those two seem very close to Naruto-Kun, and no doubt they will be upset."

"Now that I think about it, it wouldn't be possible to bring Naruto's roommates or my daughters would it, the seals around Uzushiogakure don't allow outsiders to enter, and it was only my luck that I was friends with Kushina, as she gave me a way to enter, which would only work me, a seal specifically made to allow outsiders in, without the risks which would follow, with any normal case." Hitomi clasped her hands, her face impassive from concentrating, "But Naruto-Kun would be very upset, that he wouldn't be able to bring his best friends with him."

"It is what it is, but I hope that your daughters can keep Naruto-Kun's roommates' company while you're away," Hiruzen remarked.

"Of course, the girls have become best friends with my daughters, so I don't doubt they wouldn't welcome the three into the compound, being close friends with Naruto-Kun. Thank you for your time, Hokage-Sama, and I will notify you when we are ready. Good day."

"I'm home!" Naruto spoke out, his voice reaching the keen ears of Wasabi, who shook off her sleep, woke up the others and the three hurriedly bound down the corridor to meet their Master.

"Welcome back!" The three chorused wrapping their bodies around Naruto, as they looked upon him with expectant eyes, waiting to hear about his day, and on the side feeling guilty, that they were unable to accompany and help him throughout the day, because of their illness.

"So girls, want to hear something cool?" The girls nodded enthusiastically and so Naruto continued, "All of us, including Mama and hopefully Ko-San are going to Uzushiogakure for a vacation to explore the ruins, so make sure to pack your bags for a long trip, maybe a month or two, we won't be leaving until I search every nook and cranny of the place, and when you're done packing, place them all in four separate storage scrolls, one for each of us, and then place all four scrolls in another scroll, make sure to do it as I taught you." Sternly looking at them, remembering the last time they attempted to use storage scrolls, they blew them up, and the girls guiltily looked down revisiting their previous mishaps, though they weren't down for long. "Now, now, don't be so glum. Mistakes happen from time to time, and your job is to correct those mistakes, and mine is to make sure you don't injure yourselves. It's already late as it is, so let's just get some sleep, and we'll go visit Mama in the morning after training."

"Hai!"

The Next Day

After training, the group of four made their way to the Compound, where the girls were now seated in front of Hitomi and Naruto once again in her arms, staring at her with his innocent violet eyes, Hitomi was dreading how she was going to tell him that the girls won't be able to come with them.

"Come on, Mama, tell me, did Hokage-Sama say yes? Also, can the girls come with us, I want to show them around Uzu?" Naruto was curious about how Hitomi's chakra was fluctuating, something he usually never felt, "Mama, is everything all right, your chakra feels worried?" He hesitantly asked, and immediately felt the change in her Chakra, now as calm as before.

"I have good news, and I have bad news. The good news is that Hokage-Sama has allowed us to go to Uzushiogakure for a month. Both of us, Ko and two shinobi the Hokage will be accompanying us; Kimiko Hatake and Shizune Kato. The bad news is that the girls aren't allowed." Hitomi replied, her soft voice keeping Naruto from overreacting. "The girls wouldn't be able to enter Uzushiogakure because neither are they an Uzumaki nor do they have a special Fuin given to a non-Uzumaki to allow them to enter whenever they want, such as me, which is why I can accompany you within the ruins themselves. But even if the girls come with us, they will have to stay outside with Ko and the others."

"But that's not fair, I want them to come with me, Mama can't you do anything about it? Maybe you can speak to the Hokage and maybe he can find the special Fuin that you have, please Mama?" Naruto pleaded with Hitomi who was hurt by her inability to help him, just shook her head, and apologized.

"I'm sorry, Naruto-Kun, the only ones who could make the seals are the Uzumaki given the responsibility to create such seals, and we have no idea whatsoever about any Uzumaki, if they are in hiding, who can create such seals. Your birth mother Kushina was one such Uzumaki," Hitomi replied with remorse, brushing his hair back into place after it was messed up as Naruto turned his head quickly to face Hitomi, his medium-long crimson locks swaying with the breeze from the window.

"Well, I don't care, the girls are coming with me, and I will find a way to enter, I don't care how, but I will. Mama, you'll allow them to come with us, won't you?"

"Of course, I will, but I just don't want you to be disappointed when what you try doesn't work. All right then, now that this is decided, do you kids need any help in packing?" Her question was directed towards Naruto and the girls who were quietly watching the conversation between Mother and Son. Not finding an appropriate time to give their opinions, they were startled at the sudden question asked of them.

"No, Lady Hitomi, we won't be needing any help," Sumire answered for the four of them.

"Excellent."

Soon, after explaining to the children when they would depart; exactly two weeks later, Hitomi told them how long would it take them to travel to Uzu, three days travel time to reach the boat they would board on, a day and a half to reach the shores of Uzu if they encountered no delays, and they would have twenty days, to explore the ruins as much as they could before the remaining five days would be used to travelling back to Konoha.

Suffice it to say, Naruto was excited about the trip, and so were the girls who were overjoyed seeing their Master so happy, he was constantly moving about, unable to contain his excitement, he took it out on his girls: through intense training, though he didn't normally train his girls to the ground as he cared for them too much to see them go through so much strenuous training, and training themselves would burn them out, but now he had to use up more of his energy and so became ruthless in training and in the two weeks before they left, he had to carry them back to their apartment and using his Shadow Clones he bathed the three before laying them down to rest on their bed, he then leaves and continue his training, his girls unable to match his stamina, and so when he finally does get tired, he returns, cleans himself, before dispelling the five Shadow Clones he had assigned to do the training not requiring any physical activity; meditation, Chakra Control and most importantly Fuinjutsu.

In Fuinjutsu, especially, he had made a great breakthrough; with the help of Hitomi, Naruto had now reached Level Six out of the Ten Levels before he was considered a Master, and boy was Hitomi proud of him, though worried that he would over-exert himself, she made him promise that his skill with Fuinjutsu would be kept a secret, and would only be known to her, Hiashi and his girls since she feared that if it were known, he would be asked to manufacture seals for Konoha and would essentially be taken advantage of.

In the first level of Fuinjutsu, you learn about the alphabet specifically made for Fuinjutsu, what each symbol and Kanji mean, and how to use them concerning one another. The first level only teaches the different Fuins, such as the Trigram series and its off-shoot: the kunai barrier Fuins. It begins with the intricacies of Fuinjutsu and the risks involved, guiding potential Fuinjutsu users on how to think like a Fuinjutsu user, the logic behind it and to use the most efficient route to reach the desired effect.

In the second level of Fuinjutsu, one learns how to practically start using the Fuinjutsu alphabet as they now begin on the most basic of seals, and no, it's not the storage seal, but rather a simple seal allowing the chakra to enter and to dissipate after a time set by the user. This seal is the basis of the storage seal, to allow the chakra to go through and act as a medium to allow objects through to store them. Of course in the storage seal, the time must be set to infinity, but other than that, the most basic of seals is a watered-down storage seal. Another seal they learn is the stasis seal, but before that, they are taught another watered-down version. Students must be capable of creating a seal allowing any objects going through its radius to be slowed down by one-tenth of its original speed. While the storage seal can affect only non-living objects, as the objects are sent into another dimension, the stasis seal can affect both the living and non-living. One can say that the stasis seal is the upgraded version of the storage seal.

In the third level, they are introduced to odd-numbered seals and even-numbered seals. And how each category of the seal, has its use, the odd-numbered seals are used to seal entities (I mean an object possessing physical matter), whether it be small, harmless, large or evil and cursed, if the seal is used correctly, just about anything can be sealed. Even-numbered seals are also used to seal entities (entities, in a sense, not possessing physical matter). They are taught odd-numbered seals one and three, and even-numbered seals two and four, the most basic of each and vital in the later levels.

In the fourth level, a few defensive-based, and a few offensive-based seals are taught. One of them is the barrier seal, very different from the one used to cover Konoha, this is a seal used for a short-range warning mechanism. One may either use the seal on him/herself and cover a range of up to ten meters, or use multiple. The limit depends on the skill of the user and one can cover a total area of 150 meters, the user using himself as the central point. And there are watered-down versions of the seal created to practice. For this particular seal, a student must be able to create a seal that would notify them if any motion was detected, and since the concept of a radius surrounding the seal included the need to learn about adding another valve to divert the chakra to its surroundings, and the making and creating of the valve was the next step for the seal.

One of the offensive-based seals they learn is the explosive tag. Its main concept is a trigger, storage for chakra, a reactant, the radius set for the explosion and the spark, and the chakra itself. Most explosive tags can be triggered instantaneously with only a second or two before the resulting explosion encompasses the area, doing one of two things intended for it, either succeeding in killing or injuring your opponent or enemy or simply destroying the area within its radius. And unlike the other seals, the explosive tag has no seal before it to serve as practice.

The fifth level concerned the manipulating of the chakra networks. The seals that students are made to learn are the chakra suppressor, chakra bind, paralysis seals, and even resistance seals, something Naruto was ecstatic to learn. The first seal, the chakra suppressor, had its logic based on the stasis seal, instead of trapping a person's movement, you would simply trap the person's chakra network, making any attempt to use jutsu would be useless. The watered-down version of this seal was to attempt to create a seal which would block the person's chakra for a set time, if a student manages this, they simply have to change its target to cover the whole body and the timer set to infinity.

The second seal, the chakra bind, may sound similar to the chakra suppressor, but it isn't. What it does is temporary, it makes the victim's chakra go against them. For example, if a victim attempted to use a jutsu, their chakra wouldn't respond and would instead tighten up like a coil and release itself when the seal's effects wore off, damaging the victim's chakra network to barely work. The only problem is that every individual component of the seal must be done in a specific order and at a specific time, which results in each seal being completed in a day, making this while extremely useful, extremely unpopular. The seal is based on Genjutsu, as when a person uses a Genjutsu, they periodically insert some of their chakra to keep the Genjutsu going. The same is true here, instead of periodically inserting chakra, it is simply a one-time thing, which is why it is temporary, and while one may use a loop to delay the end, the chakra is being depleted from the seal and will eventually finish.

The third, the paralysis seal is a seal created to lock up a person's muscle movement; they go through a full body cramp, and their joints become unbelievably sore. They are only able to move their eyes and breathe, and out of the entirety of the seal, allowing a person to move their eyes and breathe was extremely tricky to accomplish. The seal paralyses a person completely, and the eyes and nose are also a part of it. The eyes have six muscles attached to the sclera and the nose consists of a subgroup of facial muscles, though fortunately the lungs aren't affected by the seal. It is designed instead of pouring chakra into the network, the chakra stored in the seal is first converted into Iryo chakra, and the converted chakra is then transferred onto the victim, the chakra being the key ingredient in locking up a person's movement. The effects of the seal wear off in an hour naturally or can be extended for longer periods, if the seal previously placed on the victim is charged over and over, the loop built in the seal going through the process over and over, as many times as is needed.

The last seal, the resistance seal, in Naruto's opinion, is the most useful of seals, and while he wished he could've learned the resistance seals first, Fuinjutsu is not something that can be done without any order or discipline, so he waited patiently until he had learned all the previous seals. The resistance seals do not use chakra to make the muscles heavier, instead, the seal constantly takes a little bit of chakra from the user and slowly forms a dense layer around the user weighing it down fully. Again, as in all seals, this seal also contains a storage area for chakra, a constant loop to constantly take the user's chakra, the sealing array that would condense the chakra, and the radius array to cover the body. As soon as he was done, Naruto proudly showed it to Hitomi, who expressed how proud she was and as with every time Naruto completed a level, she treated him and the girls a treat.

Naruto had even offered to make a few resistance seals for Hinata, Hanabi and Neji, but Hitomi refused, stating that using seals at such a young age would only be detrimental to their health, though she remarked, that while Naruto could potentially use the seals, he would be better off without them.

The sixth level is where things get a little bit tricky. The sixth level is where Fuinjutsu is used concerning the three main Shinobi Arts; Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and Genjutsu. At the end of this level, one should be able to fluidly use and apply pre-made Fuins on others, making Fuins in the heat of the battle taught at level nine. For both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, Naruto had already made progress in them before he had even started Fuinjutsu. How? Well simple: his Chakra Chains which right now are in their first form, the Adamantine Attacking Chains, the second from being the Adamantine Sealing Chains, and the third form, the Adamantine Barrier Chains, all three of them can be used as both a supplement or substitute in battle, but without an Uzumaki guiding him to better master his Chakra Chains, Naruto was left with trial and error, so Naruto instead focused on the third application, Fuinjutsu concerning Genjutsu, and by far, for Naruto a very peculiar concept he had to grasp, though he did leave some clones on the first two, just in case, they found something useful.

Genjutsu as the scroll said was a rare art by itself, with most Shinobi preferring Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and even other fields like Kenjutsu and Bojutsu. Many Shinobi didn't either have the talent or the patience to take up a field as it required good Chakra Control. Here, the scroll said, would get rid of one of the problems, by making sure that Chakra Control by the end of the sixth level wouldn't even be necessary. What is Genjutsu? A jutsu used by the Shinobi to manipulate somebody, whether it be subtly or directly, each has its purpose and uses, but what both have in common is the need for creative and imaginative minds and Chakra Control, remove either one and the fight will be over before it would even begin.

So, there were multiple seals such as the Scatter Seal, the Reflection Seal, and most importantly, the Resistive Seal, each having their benefits and limitations. The Scatter Seal's purpose is to cast a figurative screen of chakra in a radius surrounding its user to block any incoming Chakra used in Genjutsu. Unlike other seals, this seal takes a constant flow of chakra from the user, to charge the seal itself. The seal uses the chakra to form a somewhat dense layer around you to a radius of ten meters, and the seal can be multi-layered, but multi-layering won't be available until the next level. The maximum Genjutsu it can defend the user from is High C-Rank, but depending on the base density of the user's chakra, it can go up to Mid B-Rank.

The second, the Reflection Seal also takes constant chakra from the user and moulds it into a reflective surface and surrounds only the user with the chakra, reflecting the chakra to the attacker, though useful, is only capable of reflecting lower-rank Genjutsu from D-Ranks to High C-Rank, and is not at all dependant on the user's chakra whatsoever. The concept behind this nifty little Genjutsu comes from the Uchiha Clan's disgraced leader, Madara, who had created a Jutsu that is able to reflect any oncoming Ninjutsu into pure wind nature chakra where it is immediately reflected. Though it is unknown whether Madara could reflect Genjutsu, since, who in the right mind would attempt to use Genjutsu on a Sharingan user? The seal contains a continuous loop to constantly take chakra, a warning or trigger mechanism informing the user that Genjutsu had been used if any Genjutsu touches the user, which if this had been an attempted ambush, allowing the user plenty of time to mount a defence and counter-attack.

The last seal, the resistive seal, does not expel chakra from the user, as a barrier or as a reflection, instead, the seal forces the user's chakra to pulse at set intervals, and the intervals can be chosen by the user on the idea if the user has more chakra such as High-Jonin than the intervals can be set further apart, but if the user has less than that, then the intervals must be closer apart. This seal barely takes any chakra from the user other than the initial chakra required to start it and is by far the most used out of all the seals; takes little chakra, does not need a loop to stay running, and only one loop to for the intervals, it can resist Genjutsu from D-Ranks to A-Ranks, which does depend on the density of the user's chakra.

Though Naruto wanted to begin with the seventh level, the level in which chakra releases are predominantly the subject, the ability to convert neutral chakra into different natures, the ability to absorb Ninjutsu of any kind, be it D-Ranks or even S-Ranks, the one who masters this level to its highest state, can in sense become invincible, the ability to store premade Ninjutsu into seals to be used as last resort if low on chakra, Naruto was forced to take a break by Hitomi who wanted him to start the next level in a week or two, to start with a fresh mind, and instead encouraged him to experiment with a couple of seals he had made already and to try and come newer ones or improve upon them.

Next, level eight, the level in which the Bijus are introduced, from Ichibi to Kyubi, each with a little description highlighting their strengths and known abilities. A little paragraph was also given to inform them which level of the seal is necessary to seal a Biju. From the Ichibi to the Yonbi, they can be sealed into inanimate objects strengthened greatly with Fuinjutsu and supported by either one, three, five or the seven odd-numbered seals. Alternatively, Bijus can be sealed into people using the two, four, six and eight even-numbered seal, which would turn the people into living weapons and be called Jinchuriki, the human sacrifice. These odd-numbered and even-numbered seals are collectively known as the Trigrams sealing method, a method devised by the Uzumaki clan to safely seal Biju into people or inanimate objects, and distribute them to the nations for a fee. They were taught the one and three odd-numbered seals and the two and four even-numbered seals in the third level, and so now they were going to learn all the seals required to seal or subdue a Biju anywhere at any time. The downside is that the amount of chakra required meant, that only Kage-Level Shinobi, with amazing Chakra Control whilst being a level eight Fuinjutsu Master, can safely be able to seal a Biju. As you remember, the seals were created for the Uzumaki Clan, for their purposes, they weren't going to make things any easier for those without their immense chakra reserves and sealing prowess.

Level nine is where Fuinjutsu specialists can specialise within the two distinct fields of Fuinjutsu, Offence and Barrier, and while there are others such as communication, infiltration and sabotage, and those specially trained to take down and subdue a Biju, Offence and Barrier are the most popular ones. In this level, they are also taught how to create seals using just their chakra with no parchment required, etching seals into the environment itself, trees, rocks, and the very ground using senbon, the ability to create seals to adapt to any situation, to combine multiple seals into one, to decipher any seals laid out in front, to be able to create seals to counter other seals.

The tenth and final level isn't a level where Fuinjutsu students are taught anything, they can call themselves a Master of Fuinjutsu as soon as they complete level eight. At this level, they are given a task; to create such a piece of Fuinjutsu that would completely revolutionize Fuinjutsu, either creating a new one or improving upon a pre-existing piece of Fuinjutsu to such an extent that it would be classified as something different entirely. And on record, only a couple of people have managed to achieve such a goal; Mito Uzumaki and Tobirama Senju are a few such famous Shinobi. Mito Uzumaki is said to have invented a Fuinjutsu capable of sending a single person over large distances in just a few seconds, basically personal teleportation, and further details were restricted and would be given later. Tobirama Senju, one-upped Mito by inventing a Fuinjutsu based on Mitos': instead of teleporting over large distances, he used Kunais as waypoints to teleport to, this Jutsu alone gave him the title of the Fastest Shinobi ever in his era: the Hiraishin, a Jutsu so feared that Shinobi would rather retreat than face him in battle.

But where would Naruto find such resources, certainly not the Hyuga clan, who wouldn't be able to provide him with the resources needed to accomplish the ten levels, and certainly not himself, he wouldn't even know where to begin. The answer is simple: the Hokage learned about Naruto learning Fuinjutsu, so as his sixth birthday present gave Hitomi, for safekeeping, the scriptures and books needed to learn from levels six to ten, as the Hyuga clan only possessed scriptures from levels one to five.

The first day of their travel to Uzushiogakure had just been completed, and Kimiko, Shizune and Ko were setting up a perimeter before they would set up camp, with Kimiko, Shizune and Ko alternating watches, each of them having a separate tent, while Naruto and his girls would be sharing one and Hitomi having a separate one as well.

The day had passed rather uneventfully. After saying his goodbyes to his friends and the Uchiha Matriarch, Illumi, and Hokage-Sama, they left Konoha's main gate and after a few hours of walking, changed direction to move towards the shore. Other than a few patrols that intercepted them on the way, quickly reporting to Kimiko and Shizune about any news, they quickly made their way towards a boat waiting for them on the shore.

Naruto was bored, and so with nothing to do, not even able to practice Fuinjutsu, he instead focused on his sensory abilities, which did not miss the four adult's senses and they were impressed with how far he could reach after asking about his capabilities. The best adult sensor in the group without the use of a Kekkei Genkai was Kimiko, whose summoning contract with the Inu Clan gave her enhanced senses capable of matching toe to toe with any member of the Inuzuka Clan, along with her natural sensory abilities, she could in any direction cover around 100 meters. And while she found out that Naruto's sensory range far outclassed hers, she with more experience helped Naruto to refine his abilities as much as she could.

The girls kept close to Naruto, quiet but observant, in awe of their surroundings having never left the village in Konoha or the Land of Demons, and Hitomi made small talk with the group, with Shizune reading a book, giving her input now and then, with Ko constantly on guard, her Byakugan activating every ten minutes.

Two Days Later

"Mama, how far do we have to walk? I'm bored."

"Just another hour or so, Naruto-Kun," Hitomi replied. "After that, the boat that the Hokage assigned to us will take us to the shores of Uzushiogakure, and if we get lucky, we'll reach in a day at the most, so just be patient, you don't see me complaining do you?"

"No, but you're older than I am Mama. It's not fair, why does Uzushiogakure have to be so far away?" Naruto whined.

"Well, why don't you just think of this as training, if you aspire to become a strong shinobi in the future, you will require patience as some missions become tedious like the one Kimiko and Shizune are on now, their escorting us aren't they, a week-long travel time, on top of twenty days away from Konoha, and another week of travelling back to Konoha, long missions like these do require a lot of patience." Hitomi patiently explained.

An Hour Later

"Are you the group sent by the Hokage to investigate the ruins of Uzushiogakure, my name is Kaiza, and this here will be the ship escorting you, the Nozomi, please come on aboard and make yourselves comfortable."

"Thank you, Kaiza. My name is Hitomi Hyuga, this is my son Naruto, his three friends Sumire, Wasabi and Namida, and my assistant Ko. The two Shinobi on the side are Kimiko and Shizune, our escorts and any details that you may need to share, please inform them. We will be in your care." Hitomi respectfully nodded and held Naruto's hand as she walked on board, the girls following, Kimiko and Shizune behind, with the sailors on board helping Kaiza undock.

The ship was large, and could comfortably hold ten people not including the workers, who maintained and ran the ship. (AN: I know nothing of ships so I won't even attempt to describe it .)

It was smooth sailing from here, Kimiko, Shizune and Ko were constantly on guard as they were rather open and unprotected in the sea, with little cover other than a light fog covering their vessel. Hitomi relaxed on the deck in a chair she brought from Konoha, while Naruto and the girls had loads of fun, sparring three-on-one against Naruto, enjoying the spray of the sea on their faces, playing random games with each other, generally enjoying life as children should.

"Excuse me, Kaiza-San, but where in the Land of Fire are you from?" Naruto asked the captain.

"I am not from the Land of Fire, I'm from the Land of Waves, a fishing village located on the East of the Land of Fire. We are surrounded by water at all times, which quickly builds up fog which is present for almost the year, but as the fog is relatively light, and because of our geographical location we also serve as a shipping port, though we are not as famous as the Land of Tea, we do the job."

"Cool, so do you get a lot of jobs like these Kaiza-San, or do you have any other jobs?"

"Well, I'm primarily a fisherman, but I do receive jobs like these, either from our Land's Daimyo, or the fair few missions from Konoha."

"Hmm."

….

The day passed quickly, with Kimiko and the rest rotating guard duty at night, the shores of Uzushiogakure were soon in sight. The boat docked on the shore Kaiza and the men throwing out anchors to keep the ship from washing away. Ko, who was on guard duty, woke Kimiko and Shizune and informed them about reaching Uzushiogakure, before entering Hitomi's room.

Hitomi had already woken up when the ship stopped moving and was waiting, her hand on Naruto's forehead, fondly looking down at him, who was cuddled next to her, while the girls were sleeping side by side on their separate bed.

"Have we reached Uzushiogakure, Ko?"

"Hai, Hitomi-Sama, we have."

"Excellent, tell the others that the children are sleeping so we will have to wait until morning to depart, and do ask them to be quiet, they need their rest after the energy they exerted today."

"Of course, Hitomi-Sama, I shall convey so exactly."

The Next Day

"Naruto-Kun, wake up, we've reached Uzushiogakure." Hitomi gently held Naruto in her arms, who in response, just cuddled closer burying his head into her breasts.

"Five more minutes, Mama. Why don't you just wake up the girls until then, the bed's comfortable and I don't want to move."

"I can't do that, Naruto-Kun. We need to eat breakfast and send the crew back home, and the more time you spend in bed, the less time you'll have to explore the ruins, do you want to spend your time in bed than outside?" Hitomi had placed her hand on the back of his head, rubbing it fondly, slowly pouring her chakra into him, circulating it into his network, a trick she learned from her mother to wake children up. "Besides, don't you want to spend some time with your Mother, I have visited here in the past, so I can show you around what I remember."

"All right, Mama, but promise you'll show me everything right?" Naruto glanced up tiredly at the amused Hitomi.

"Of course, I will Sochi, so change, wake up the girls and meet me outside," Hitomi assured Naruto and left the cabin to let him change.

Naruto stretched, a hand on his face covering his yawn, his feet dangling from the high bed, hopping down and making his way towards the girls who had requested to move their bed into his and Hitomi's cabin. Naruto climbed into their bed and snuggled in between them, the girls immediately latching onto them like a lifeline, Naruto struggled to hold in his laughter but failed, the noise waking up the bleary-eyed trio, who rubbed the sleep out of their eyes and greeted Naruto, who replied in same.

"Girls, quickly change. We reached Uzushiogakure, my clan's home, come on, I don't want you to miss anything." Naruto urged them and they complied, giving him a morning hug as was usual, and him giving each of them a kiss on the cheek. Naruto changed into his clothes, tossing the girls their separate storage scrolls.

Naruto left the cabin greeting Kimiko and Shizune, and hugging Ko before he made his way towards Hitomi kissing her on the cheek before sitting down in her lap.

"So, what's for breakfast, Mama?"

After eating, and saying goodbye to the captain and crew, the group made their way towards the ruins of the island where as expected only a few minutes later, only Hitomi and Naruto were able to walk freely through the barrier covering the entirety of Uzushiogakure. Uzushiogakure was an island with a span of 200 Km in any direction, a perfect circle from what Hitomi described, done with the ingenuity of Fuinjutsu, the outer 20 Km were all beaches, a port on every cardinal point, whirlpools once surrounded the island now deactivated with the extinction of the Uzumaki clan, the infrastructure itself was built in four even sectors with the Palace of The Daimyo in the middle, other administrative buildings surrounding it, the homes and workplaces of the civilians and the clans equally distributed throughout the sectors responsible for the well being of the people under them. (AN: I will be explaining more about it in the next chapter.) Surrounding all the buildings were huge walls empowered with Fuinjutsu capable of blocking even a Bijudama, though the walls would be damaged and would need repair. And now the once great Village lay in ruin, the buildings slowly crumbling, the walls broken apart, the ground scorched, torn apart, debris reaching outside of the four standing gates, the last of Uzushiogakure.

Naruto was both in awe and guilt, he was feeling more empty than ever and was regretting ever coming here, the destruction and silence when in a village as big as it was, it should never be so silent. His tears were wet, and his eyes were blurry, the weight of what he was seeing came crashing down on him, and he fell to his knees silently sobbing, Hitomi holding her close to her chest, her tears falling on Naruto, remembering Kushina, and the promise she made to her still fresh on her mind, she said nothing other than quiet comforting noises, reassuring him.

"Why?"

"This is the result of war, Naruto. Bred through fear, hatred and a need for vengeance and to feel superior. The Nations of the world feared the Uzumaki before the idea of separate villages was even conceived, but fortunately, the Uzumaki weren't an aggressive clan through any means, always open for refugees, sending help out to those affected by the warring clans. They were always neutral and were never the ones to first show any signs of aggression, but if any attacked those under their protection they would not forgive, for the Uzumaki were also a clan of a fierce temperament. You never want to mess with an angry Uzumaki, I learned that the hard way, haha, but because the Uzumakis never allied with any other clan save the Senju and were such a great threat, the Uzumaki were always kept at an arm's length, but all of that changed when Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha allied their clans and so many more within the Land of Fire to create the very first Hidden Village: Konohagakure. Hashirama-Sama after defeating Madara at the Valley of The End, went on to capture all the Biju, with the Kyubi already in his possession with Mito Uzumaki, the wife of Hashirama-Sama, and the Ichibi in possession of Suna, he distributed the remaining Biju to all other newly formed Hidden Villages, the Nibi and Gyuki to Kumo, the Sanbi and Rokubi to Kiri, the Yonbi and Gobi to Iwa and the last remaining Biju the Nanabi to Taki. But how would they contain the massive beasts without any help, so the Uzumaki offered their services for a price to help them seal the Biju into their respective Biju. Now the Nations learned that the Uzumaki were easily able to seal a Biju and if that was the case, then they realised that the Uzumaki could just as easily remove the Biju, so they planned, they planned to destroy Uzushiogakure, but it took them many years to fulfil their ambition. And I repeat, this is the result of war, and remember to look upon what had happened and learn what happens when Shinobi fight purely because of fear. Remember, while the Uzumaki clan is no more, I am still with you, and I will never let you feel alone, never again, you have a family now, and believe me, we will always be there for you. I promise Sochi."

"Thank you, Mama," Naruto stuttered out his voice quiet and unsure, not wanting to let go, and Hitomi didn't, she carried him in her arms cooing quiet words, and slowly Naruto drifted off into slumber as Hitomi made her way back towards the group who were all standing with worried expressions on their faces. The three girls surrounded Hitomi teary-eyed seeing Naruto so unresponsive to their calls, but they calmed down as they were assured that Naruto had just gone through a lot and needed rest, they reluctantly agreed but kept a close watch.

"Kimiko-San, Shizune-San, set up camp, Ko-Chan, explore the surroundings and see if you can find any driftwood we can dry out and start a fire with, I will be writing a letter to the Hokage, so girls I need you to keep an eye on Naruto." As soon as the orders left her mouth, the group tensed, and a cold feeling washed over them, pushing them down, making it difficult to breathe, but they persevered, their Killing Intent flaring, directing it towards the source, a relief to the girls who were shivering and on the sand. Kimiko, Shizune and Ko moved around Hitomi and the children, Kimiko taking point, her Sharingan spinning already weaving Genjutsu to gain an advantage, Shizune on the left her hand glowing with Chakra Scalpels, Ko nearest to Hitomi and the children, Byakugan activated and already assumed a Taijutsu stance, while Hitomi had knelt pushing the children behind her, the girls covering Naruto however they could.

A person stood before them his back against the waves, hunched and covered in black robes, dark mist pooling around the threat, a sheathed Katana used as a staff leaning his weight against it, his raspy breath grated their ears and he spoke.

"Why do you have someone of our kin in your possession, he is not one of yours, return him to us, and leave this island in peace. Resistance is futile, death will be inevitable, leave and never come back." Every couple of words followed by his deep, heavy breaths shook the group to the core. Just who was he, how did he appear so suddenly without alerting their senses, how was he able to hide his presence, and why was he so insistent on retrieving Naruto, (AN: Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z. Lol) these were just some of the thoughts flowing through Hitomi's mind.

"Who are you, introduce yourself and why are you after my son? As it is now, I will not be letting you lay a single hand on him, so you better either state who you are or as you said death is inevitable, it's four against one, so be warned, it would end badly for you." Hitomi threatened, her cold Byakugan making her look even fierce, even more so with the protruding veins on the side of her eyes.

"Foolish mortals, intruding on this sacred ground, threatening me, Guardian of Uzushiogakure, protector of this Island for all my life, just as my forefathers, and theirs before them, and even kidnapping my flesh, my blood, our heir, manipulating his intention and wills, moulding him into one of your Shinobi, I will not stand for it, I will warn you just one more time, give him to me, or die on these bloodied and hallowed grounds."

"We are proud Shinobi of the Hidden Leaf, yielding is not part of our dictionary and dying is just our way of living!" The bold words of Kimiko rung out, and the cloaked man snarled in response.

"Then so be it," The wind picked up, howling in fury, waves raging against the shore, stopping just shy of the man, "You say dying is your way of living, then your deaths will be one recorded in history, to be killed by Yamamoto Uzumaki." Then everything went black for the four adult Shinobi and the children.

Naruto's eyes snapped open his sensory abilities ringing red flags in his head being in an unfamiliar location. He leapt from his bed, instinctively launching his Chakra Chains towards the unfamiliar signatures in the same room as him, only for him to lose all control over his body, his Chakra Chains disappearing as he fell to the floor, but he was stooped by two arms gently grabbing him, who slowly laid him down on his bed.

"Whoa there, hold your horses, we are not your enemy, we brought you here to rest and recuperate after the most likely unpleasant greeting you guys faced at the hands of our resident guardian. We do apologize for it, but he had no choice, he was simply following orders." The charming voice, which he identified was of a female eased his worries as his eyes adjusted to the bright light, he noticed that she was a redhead just like him, with bright violet eyes just like him, looking exactly like the picture his mother showed him of his birth mother.

"Kaa-Chan is it really you? After...after all these years you're still alive, and if you were alive then why didn't you come to look for me, leaving me alone until Mama found me and took me in, gave me everything you should've. Where is Mama, where is she, and why isn't she here?" Naruto was screaming at Kushina, his chakra flaring wildly, the Kyubi's Chakra leaking into the system, fueling his anger even further, his whiskers darkened, fangs elongated and sharp, his pupil's vertical slits, crouching down on all fours he prepared to attack. His wild mixture of chakra tore apart the room they were in, attacking the walls, floor, and any objects in his path as it fled Naruto's body.

Only for the chakra to be pushed back as yellow chains wrapped around his body, draining him, and making him lose strength and the ability to stay conscious. The Kyubi's chakra was now nowhere to be seen, except for traces of it in the room, leaving a sobbing mess on the bed, Naruto hid under the covers, ignoring the gentle voice of Kushina who tried coaxing him out of the covers, wishing to Kami for his mother to be here. His wish was granted, Hitomi entered the room in all her Hyuga glory, pushing aside Kushina who for the time being ignored the slight, as she made her way to Naruto, who before she had even reached, had sensed her approach and within an instant in her arms, trying to hide his body away from Kushina, the other yellow-haired figure completely ignored for the time being.

"Mama, I want to go home, please, I don't want to stay here, I want to go home." His sobs were a stab to the heart to Hitomi who while wanting to fulfil her son's wishes knew it would only hurt him more in the future if he were to leave.

"I cannot Sochi, sooner or later, you will have to face your past, it must be done now and not later which delaying what must happen will only make it more painful in the future. I am here. When you talk to her, you are going to be in my arms, okay, I am not going to leave you alone."

"Promise." Naruto was shaky and unsure, his body shivering, and his mind in pain, he wanted nothing more than to close his eyes and imagine that she was never alive, that he was out there exploring the ruins with his mother, but his sensory ability never lied, and he slowly opened his eyes, looking up at Hitomi, his broken violet eyes made her unknowingly gasp in shock, as she held him close which Naruto so desperately needed: comfort.

Hitomi sat down on the bed, Naruto still holding onto Hitomi like a lifeline, as they faced the two responsible for Naruto's breakdown: Kushina Uzumaki and Minako Namikaze.

"So Kushina, Minato, why have you not been present in Naruto's life for upward of six years, and have never even once attempted to contact him whatsoever? So now that Naruto is here, what are your intentions for him?"

"First off, it's not Minato, it's Minako, and secondly, I am Naruto's mother. My intentions have always been good for him, and while I may have been neglecting my duties towards him, it is not that I don't at all care. I did send an Anbu Squad to look after and protect him in Minako and my absence. Both Minako and I have been preoccupied with simply recuperating from our injuries at the hands of the Kyubi and the masked man who attacked us. Afterwards, when I recovered it had been a good two years, so I decided to not come back to Konoha and instead live out my life and train over here in Uzushiogakure, our home. Believe me, being back in Uzu has made me stronger than I was in Konoha, and so is Minako. Oh, and before I forget, the person who fought you when you arrived here was simply playing a charade for you, testing your intentions against Naruto, if he was satisfied, he would bring you within Uzushiogakure unharmed, if you did not, you would be at his mercy, thankfully though, you passed." Kushina explained.

"That excuses nothing, tell me the truth, why didn't you come back and do your duty towards Naruto, you could've given him a family he needed, both you and Minako, and Minako could once again take back the role of the Hokage, yet you hid away. But at least something good did come out of it: Naruto became my son, and I became his mother." Hitomi spat out, coldness in her voice.

"I know both Minako and I have failed Naruto, but that doesn't mean we're going to give up, we will still attempt to make amends to him and help him in any way possible even if he hates us." Kushina was pumped up, but her excitement died down when she saw Hitomi giving her a disapproving look, Naruto not even caring, content to be simply held by Hitomi.

"I appreciate that both of you will be a part of Naruto's life, and will train him where I cannot, but remember this, Naruto is my son, not yours, regardless of your blood relation with him or not. He will come to Uzushiogakure in the summers to train while for the rest of the year, he will be living in Konoha with me in the Hyuga Compound."

"Hitomi-Chan, I know that I have no right to call myself your friend, but I have just one more favour to ask of you. Will you adopt Naruto-Kun? If you are going to take the full responsibility of raising a son, then he should remain as close as possible to you and your daughters." Kushina was bowing to Hitomi, Minako doing the same, unusually quiet for the conversation.

"Your request was unneeded, I had already decided to adopt Naruto-Kun into my family, and I was going to ask him if would let me officially be his mother, but I guess you beat me to it."

"R-really, you w-want to a-adopt me?" Naruto's muffled voice reached Hitomi's ears, who lovingly glanced down at him, kissing him on the top of his hair, and whispered.

"Of course, ever since I met you, I even have all the adoption papers made and signed. It only needs the final approval of the Hokage and you and the girls can live with us, we will be a family, just like you wanted. But, there is a problem. Naruto do you remember the history lessons I gave you about the Densetsu no Sannin" Hitomi continued after seeing him nod. "Well, Tsunade Senju, who had the most claim on you having a relationship with the Uzumaki clan, the Hokage made me compromise, that you would also live with her. We at that time, did not know about any of the surviving Uzumaki members, so I had to agree, but if you don't want to you don't have to, but I would advise you just try it out, Tsunade-San is one of the Sannin, she can teach you many things like Chakra Control exercises which you so desperately need." Hitomi diverged the conversion into training to distract Naruto from the intense revelations. "But we will be staying here, I had promised you a tour and a vacation, we can't let it go to waste can we, Kushina here would be more than pleased to give us a tour around Uzushiogakure."

"Well, of course, it is ancestral home after all, and regarding his training, there are a few things that an Uzumaki must know, which can only be taught by other Uzumaki, there are so many people who would want to see you, you are the heir to Uzushiogakure after all. For the month you will stay here, I will be introducing you to many Uzumaki children your age and non-Uzumaki, who I think befriending would benefit greatly to support you. But for now, could you give me and Hitomi-Chan to talk about some more serious matters, you can go outside, Ko and the others accompanying you are waiting for you, wouldn't you think it is good to see them as well?"

"Mama, do I have to, I don't want to," Naruto whined as Hitomi fondly smiled, recognizing the seriousness in Kushina's voice.

"Don't worry Sochi, it will only be for five minutes, I promise." Naruto hearing Hitomi's promise removed himself from her lap and exited the room, Minako following closely behind to ensure he wouldn't get lost.

"Tell me, what was so important that you had to send Naruto-Kun out of the room?"

"Alright, alright, don't get your panties in a twist." Kushina was a bit silent for a while before continuing, "You probably have heard about the civil war currently happening in Kiri, and that the Mizukage has apparently gone crazy and started eliminating all those with a Kekkei Genkai, which was basically most of their forces. We in a sense, interfered in the war, not by revealing ourselves or helping the Kiri resistance attack the mainland, we instead gave them asylum here in Uzushiogakure, and we simply provided resources on the condition that when Kiri is finally under the rebel's control, a peace treaty would be formed between us. So if there was no news of any fighting happening in Kiri currently is because we have convinced them to rest, train and prepare before attacking."

"Amazing, Kushina, to be able to transport everybody from Kiri to Uzushiogakure without them even noticing, just how did you do it?" Hitomi was in awe, the population of the Kekkei Genkai wielders may be in the thousands, and to be able to go unnoticed was something else.

"You know, Minako has the Hiraishin, well, with just a little bit of work, we changed the formula to be able to handle as many people as we require, though it does take up a lot of chakra. Hitomi, I'm telling you all of this because you are my best friend, so please do not inform the Hokage about Uzushiogakure whatsoever, when the time comes, we will reveal ourselves. But for now, secrecy is Uzu's best friend, and we would like to keep it that way, please, for Naruto-Kun's sake." Kushina had grabbed Hitomi's hands, the seriousness of the situation had not been lost to Hitomi.

"You know, however much you have been an idiot and shirking your duties as a mother if you promise to try and be more involved in Naruto-Kun's life, my mouth is closed, and I will vouch for both Ko's and the little girls, that they won't say a thing, but you may have to convince Shizune and Kimiko about this."

"Yes, Dattabane! Now come on, I want to introduce Naruto to his new friends."

Outside

"So, Naruto-Kun, how was your life back in Konoha, I have heard a little from Hitomi, but I wished to learn from you?" Minako hesitantly asked Naruto, seeing that Naruto possessed some hatred towards them, and while it was understandable, Minako did not want her only son to hate her for the rest of his life.

"It was perfectly fine without you in my life, right now, I need to get back to my girls, and people I can trust, and I don't need you following me, my sensory abilities are guiding me just fine, so you may leave."

"I can't do that, I just want to spend some time with you, and I know that right now, you don't want me around, but you have to get used to it, as I will be training you as well for the month you are staying here, and when you'll leave I'll send with you a parting gift I'm sure you'll love."

"Fine, but if you are my father, then why are you a female and your name is not Minato?"

"Oh, that's because I never was a male, I was always a female, but since I was a tomboy like your mother except with short enough hair, and that even growing up, I did not possess the same physique as others, I just changed my name to Minato and let others think that I was a boy, and it worked wonders, but," Minako shuddered, "let me tell you, fan-girls are no joke, and when you join the Academy and gain the top rank there, which I'm sure you will, be very careful with how you handle the fame, because one wrong move, and they would attack you in hordes." Minako laughed to herself, and Naruto just realised that he kinda liked it, so found himself chuckling alongside her, much to Minako's delight.

"Come on, your friends are right down this hall."

As soon as they entered and Naruto barely had any chance to look around his surroundings, he was attacked by his girls, hugging him to the point he collapsed, his sensory abilities, oddly enough, didn't warn him about anyone in the room, which was something he would have to ask on.

"Girls, girls, let me breathe, for crying out loud, I'm not dead." After barely managing to get the trio off of him, he politely greeted Ko, Shizune and Kimiko who looked happy to see him handling things well emotionally. The girls led him to one of the many couches in the room, where they all sat down and got comfortable, with Sumire and Namida as usual besides Naruto, and Wasabi sitting in Naruto's lap smiling, leaning her head on Naruto's chest, which brought smiles to everyone in the room. They talked for a while about their experience with Naruto deliberately shirking away what happened after he woke up, the people in the room accepting his wishes, the girls worried for Naruto, and soon Hitomi and Kushina entered the room bringing a bright smile on Naruto.

"As I said, there are a few people who I want you to meet, and they you, so if you would follow me, Hitomi, you can as well, while the rest of you if you wish to, you may, or you may follow Minako who would guide you to your living quarters for the month." Kushina walked to the door on the left side of the room, ushering Naruto, Hitomi and the girls who opted to follow, while the rest followed Minako.

After a few minutes of traversing the corridors of the place they were in, Naruto was surprised to see a lack of Uzumaki anywhere and he voiced his concerns, only for Kushina to reply that since they were all in their house, guards were posted outside the house and not in. Kushina opened the door leading into an even larger room than before with people, both adults and children, standing in line talking to each other and anticipating about Naruto.

They noticed Kushina at the front and stood at attention.

Kushina clapped her hands, "Hello, everybody, as you can see, right here beside me is Naruto Uzumaki, my son and your future leader, so one by one introduce yourselves."

"Hello Naruto-Sama, my name is Karin Uzumaki, my specialities lie in my sensory abilities, Chakra Chains and I have just begun my Iryo-Ninjutsu training. In the future, I hope to take a position as one of your guards." The girl, now introduced as Karin, an Uzumaki just like him, though possessing hair a bit lighter than his, wore red glasses complimenting her crimson eyes, wore a purple, three-quarters sleeves jacket, and wore thigh-high shorts.

The next one stepped forward and with a little bow introduced herself, "Yo, my name is Tayuya Uzumaki. My specialities lie in Chakra Chains and Genjutsu, and my plans are the same as my bestie Karins." Tayuya wore a black undershirt, and over that, wore a beige coloured tunic, with black armguards, and had dark pink hair, and on her person possessed a flute as well.

"Greetings, Naruto-Sama, my name is Nagako Uzumaki, my specialities lie in the unique Kekkei Mora which had not appeared in the Uzumaki Clan for over fifty generations, the last one being the founder of the Uzumaki Clan. My Kekkei Mora is called the Rinnegan, and I hope I am strong enough to stay at your side in the future." Out of the three introduced, she was the one who wore the most basic attire, a purple cloak covering her from her neck to toe, her red hair cut short, parted in such a manner to only allow the Rinnegan to be visible from the right eye.

"Yo, you can call me Karui," Karui offered Naruto her hand, who took it out of politeness, "Well, my specialities lie in Kenjutsu and Fuinjutsu, but since those two fields are something every Uzumaki is required to be good at, I'll tell you a little secret, you know of our Kekkei Genkai: the Chakra Chains, well my Chakra Chains are a bit special in the regard that it mutated, and I'll show you what I mean when we start training together." Karui was a dark-skinned individual, her dark red hair placed in a backcomb, two yellow earrings, and wore a sleeveless dark green dress.

"Salutations, Naruto-Sama, my name is Mito Uzumaki, heiress to one of the Branch Clan of the Uzumaki, my specialities lay similar to where my name was taken from, I can sense the presence of negative chakra, and emotions as well, though the ability is weak, I hope that in time it will be strong enough to be of use to you." Mito wore rather formal wear, befitting of her status as an heiress; a high-collared Kimono, with an obi wrapping it securely, the Uzumaki clan symbol on her back, and her hair done in two buns with hair pins.

The last one stepped up, a stoic expression on her face, "My name is Toka Senju, a prodigy in the field of Genjutsu, just as my Grandmother once was, and I possess the Mokuton. I plan to help you achieve your dreams in any way possible, and I will do my very best to do so."

"Naruto-Kun, all of these girls were chosen because of their skill and potential, that they are worthy training partners and future guards and consorts, but that is something for us to worry about. Each day, you will be training with them to increase the level of trust between each other, we will be pushing all of you to your very limits, you are Uzushiogakure's future after all. Naruto-Kun, introduce yourselves, and then the girls will follow."

"Ok then, my name as you all know is Naruto Uzumaki, heir to Uzushiogakure, and I have no specific field that I specialise in, I do well in all the fields whether it be Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, or Fuinjutsu. Other than that, I hope to get along and become great friends with all of you. The three beside me are Sumire Kekei, Namida Suzumeno and Wasabi Izuno, my three training partners, roommates and best friends." Naruto explained.

"I see, Naruto-Kun, could you explain further what you mean in all fields?" Kushina asked.

"I don't think I will, and if I do, that just sucks all the fun out of getting to learn new things about each other, and I will hide my true strength until the girls are strong enough to make me take them seriously." Naruto chuckled, as Tayuya and Karui both had determined looks on their faces.

"Well then girls, it seems that you all have a lot of catching up to do, so we will begin your training immediately if Naruto-Kun feels up for it." The question was directed towards Naruto.

"Well, of course, I'm always up for some training. But I do have some questions, you," Naruto points to Tokka, "introduced yourself as a Senju, and I believed that the only Senju left is the Sannin Tsunade Senju, so if you wouldn't mind explaining why a Senju is living in Uzushiogakure and not in Konoha."

When Tokka was about to answer, looking a bit uncomfortable, Kushina interjected, "Naruto-Kun, that is a long story, I will explain it to you all later."

"Fine."

A few Hours Earlier

"Finally, we are going to meet our Prince. What took him so long anyways?" Tayuya groused, visibly annoyed by the whole matter, with Karin consoling her and Karui laughing at her misery. "Oh, shut up, you know I'm right, Prince or not, he had no right to keep us all waiting."

"Sod it, Tayuya, he is now here, all of us are getting the chance to meet him personally before all others, so just be grateful and when he appears, do try not to make a fool of yourself, you remember what happened the first time you learned that we were going to marry him, you passed out, that too in front of Kushina-Sama, you know how embarrassing that was." Karui whacked Tayuya over the head, who held her head in mock pain.

On the other side, Mito, Nagako and Tokka were all genial talking within themselves. All were excited over the fact that they were going to be introduced to Naruto, but being born royalty, their training didn't allow for any overreactions, so the most they showed was a small smile on their faces, but with the increasing bickering from the other three Uzumaki, Mito excused herself and gracefully walked and joined the group of the rowdy Uzumaki.

"Now then, inform me of why this incessant bickering between you three, and why aren't you preparing yourselves for our Prince's arrival?" Mito questioned.

"Oh excuse me, Princess, but we are, in our way, not like you'll understand, we were just thinking about the Prince and what will he turn out to be, kind and gracious like Kushina-Sama or like you, snobby, arrogant and bossy. And if it is the latter, I don't think I'll be that motivated to join him on his travels whatsoever." Tayuya answered, not even looking her in the eye when answering.

"Unbelievable, you do realise that whether we like him or not, our opinion does not change the fact that we have our duties which we have been trained in for the past year and a half. Karin to be his medic, Tayuya to help him and protect him in battle, Nagako-San as the sole wielder of the Rinnegan and Tokka-San, possessing the Mokuton, are destined to lead all of us future Kunoichis in battle, and lastly Karui, you are to never leave his side as his right hand, not any situations, and me, being blessed with the ability to see if a person is lying or not, my skills will be of great use to him as a diplomat. Besides, we learned that all of us are betrothed to him, so you keep whatever complaints you have for yourself, and judge when he arrives."

Well, this was by far the longest chapter I have ever written, a whopping 14000 words, and initially before I had cut it down and edited it, the chapter would have gone up to 17000, instead, I cut portions of it and placed it into the next chapter.
