Academy Arc: Part 1
Hitomi entered Naruto's room, an eternal smile on her face seeing how peacefully he slept when his girls were cuddled around him. She remembered the first time she had announced separate rooms for Naruto and the girls, but the blatant mutiny that rose was enough for her to take back the decision and she didn't regret it one bit. Naruto and the girls were inseparable and today was a big day for them, as today would be the first day of their Academy life. Hitomi sat down on the edge of the bed gently waking up the girls, who yawned in unison, their pyjamas matching the colour of their normal wear, before greeting Hitomi quickly scurrying off to change clothes and prepare. Now normally, Hitomi didn't get the chance to wake Naruto up, since both he and the girls woke up early in the morning to get some light training in, but for today they were banned from doing so, the children needing their rest and all.
Hitomi was proud of who Naruto had become; strong, independent, loving, responsible and more importantly the ability to make the most out of any situation. Their trip to Uzushiogakure was still fresh in her mind and while she wanted nothing more than to cut off any relation with Kushina, Minako and the entirety of Uzushiogakure, as a mother she needed to keep in mind her children's future, she realised that with the Uzumaki still alive, Naruto could learn so much more from them, than from her which was a tough egg to swallow, but sacrifices is what being a mother is all about, among many other things.
"Naruto-Kun, I know you're awake, so get up or do you want to be late for the big day? So quickly shower, change, and I'll go wake Hinata-Chan, and Hanabi-Chan, then we'll eat breakfast together. Don't keep us waiting. We have two hours before the entrance ceremony starts and I'd rather be early than late." Hitomi left, leaving a tired Naruto stretching his arms, somersaulting out of the bed and landing in a perfect split, which Mito taught to him and the girls in the month he was in Uzushiogakure.
With a big smile on his face, Naruto gathered his clothes lying on a chair and walked through the corridors entering the bathhouse cordoned off specifically for children, so for the month before the start of the Academy, Naruto got used to the idea of Hinata and Hitomi seeing him naked and it was likewise for them, but he did and were comfortable with each other just like he was with his girls.
"Good morning, Hinata-Chan, Hanabi-Chan, isn't it exciting, our first day in the Academy and one step closer to finally becoming a Shinobi," Naruto chattered, oblivious to the faint blushes that appeared on both Hinata's and Hanabi's faces, flustered seeing how built Naruto was. They quietly gave their agreement and the six children dipped down into the thermal springs after helping each other wash. After spending half an hour in the bath, they changed clothes; Naruto wore a crimson hoodie with the Uzumaki swirl, plain black boxer shorts and blue trousers and the earring tags gifted to him by Mito, Wasabi, Sumire and Namida wore what they usually did, but this time they each wore a crimson coloured choker. Hinata wore a lavender Kimono over mesh armour, and Hanabi wore an orange-yellow Kimono over mesh armour, the armour being just a simple precaution mandatory for those born in the Hyuga clan's Main Branch. All six children wore open-toed shinobi sandals.
The six quickly ate breakfast with Hitomi and Hiashi and left for the Academy led by their parents and Ko following close behind. They quickly reached the Academy and joined in with the group standing underneath the banner which said 'First Years, please gather here', while Hitomi and Hiashi joined with the parents meeting up with the other clan heads whose children would be attending the Academy.
The first years didn't have to wait long as a smoke plume erupted from the stage they were expectantly looking at and when the smoke dissipated and revealed Sandaime and his apprentice, the first years were in awe of being in the presence of the longest living Hokage and the next Uchiha Kage.
"Welcome everybody to the Konoha Academy, where the next five years of your life will be spent training and nurturing you to become loyal Shinobi and Kunoichis of Konohagakure, while I'm sure that you must be very excited, let me give you a gentle reminder that being a Shinobi is not a joke and if you wish to surpass those who have passed away and to honour their sacrifice, you must at all times give your 100% effort." Hiruzen let the seriousness of the matter weigh down on the young children for only a few minutes before genially smiling, "But do not be so down because of my words, you will learn with time what it means to be a Shinobi and I give you the best of luck for your future endeavours. Now then, your Senseis will now be escorting you to your respective classrooms." Hiruzen locked eyes with two particular teachers, the two who had been informed of their roles and would fulfil them to the best of their abilities.
'Hmmm, from what I can see the students here all have a higher level than me, or my girls, and well that really can't stand. Game, increase my level up to 15, the same for my girls.'

My name is Iruka Yumino, and beside me are my three assistant teachers, Mizuki Toji, Sadoru and Hana Kaka all of whom, if I am ever busy would take over in my stead. Before we start, I shall be taking attendance and if you hear your name, I want you to stand up and introduce yourself. Aburame Harika."

A fair-skinned girl with black, round sunglasses and a sea-green jacket with a high upturned collar and matching pants, she had spiky, black hair that was cut short.
"Greetings, my name is Harika Aburame, heiress to the Aburame clan, and I plan to do the best I can in the Academy, my goal is to discover new insects which have never been seen before. Why? Well, if the new species is compatible, then I will be able to breed them with my insects so that they may become stronger through the natural evolutionary process." 'Scan'

The rest of her hair is left hanging down behind her back, with her bangs hanging over her left eye. She was wearing a sleeveless red shirt, and white pants, and had two silver studs on her ears.
"Hello, my name is ChoCho Akimichi, heiress to the Akimichi clan, and my plan for the future is to make my clan and Konoha proud of the Kunoichi I would become." ChoCho ended her introduction and sat down, earning a few polite claps and nods which flustered her. 'Scan.'

"Huh, what's up Iruka-Sensei," Shikadai yawned, "Is it my turn already," Iruka replied yes and simply walked back down.
A black-haired girl stood up, her hair spiky and tied in a ponytail, and she wore a white shirt, a green jacket, blue pants and blue shinobi sandals.

"Good, now that everyone has introduced themselves, I think it's fair that we do the same, as you know, my name is Iruka Yumino and I have been teaching for the past several years, and your batch will be my fifth, I am a Chunin, but in a few years, if all goes well, I will apply for the rank of Jonin. You're next Mizuki-Sensei."
"Thank you, Iruka-Sensei, hello everybody, my name is Mizuki Toji, I have been Iruka-Sensei's assistant teacher for the past two years, and I too am a Chunin and my goal for the future is to make sure all of us train you well enough to ensure that you survive in the Shinobi world. "Greetings everybody, my name is Sadoru, and I am Iruka-Sensei's second assistant teacher. Before being a teacher, I was previously in the Anbu forces, but I retired for reasons I will not delve into. And my goal is the same as Mizuki-Sensei's."
"Hello students. My name is Hana Kaka and I will be Iruka-Sensei's third assistant teacher, I hope that I can help you learn and help you grow to become true and proper Shinobi and Kunoichi of Konoha."
"Now that introductions are out of the way, I'll begin by explaining what we will do in the first month; we'll start with the History of Konoha and all the clans residing within Konoha, as well as other subjects such as maths and language and the main goal of the first month will be to help you unlock the use of your Chakra. But to ensure you maximise your chances, we will be putting you through exercises to help condition your body for the intense training you will be going through. After the month ends, will we begin with teaching you Taijutsu and how to safely and expertly handle Shuriken and Kunai. Is that clear?" Receiving a combined yes from the students, Iruka nodded went and stood behind her desk and opened her textbook, Mizuki right beside her a few steps away, and Sadoru and Hanan, using the Shunshin to teleport to the back of the classroom.
Sadoru and Hana locked eyes before focusing their attention on their task; watching over Naruto Uzumaki and helping him in any way possible. While the two were Anbu, they did feel the need to ask when the Hokage stressed the words 'any way possible', and instead of receiving an answer, they received a scroll with the details of the mission which did clarify their questions, and consequently brought even more, but both being Anbu, they stayed quiet and got to work posing as assistant teachers in the same class as Naruto.

The month passed quickly and soon enough, Naruto quickly reached the top, flying past everybody else, but today was the day they were finally going to teach them Taijutsu, which neither he nor the clan children would learn since they already knew and had trained in their respective Taijutsu styles. Their batch started as a group of fifty, but their pace of learning was too much for the civilians and when added to the intense physical exercises that required them to give it their all, some dropped out quickly and were now 10 students less.
The civilians were on one side with Iruka and Mizuki who were slowly shadow-imitating the moves with the civilians copying. After Iruka and Mizuki showed off the basic punch, kick and grapple, they surveyed the students who were repeating the moves continuously and helped them correct any mistake, while on the other side with the clan children including a few civilians, they were asked to one by one demonstrate their ability of Taijutsu so they would see where each student stood. The likes of the Uchiha and the Hyuga twins set a high standard, equally matching with Wasabi, Namida and Sumire and with Naruto once again leading the group.
Sadoru and Hana formed pairs where they would mock fight with each other; Harika was paired with ChoCho, Hinoko was paired with Hanabi, Hinata was paired with Kira, Wasabi was paired with Sumire, Yakumo was paired with Shikadai, Sai was paired with Shin, Namida was paired with Sarada and Satsuki was paired with Ino, which left Naruto the odd one out, but Hana stepped in and offered to be Naruto's partner. The reason behind this was simple, the more Naruto and Hana had a closer relationship as a teacher and student the less Naruto would hesitate to share his problems, and the easier it would be for her to help him.
The matches were fairly even mostly due to most of the clan children knowing each other relatively well and didn't find the need to push themselves, they simply enjoyed the simple mock fight, except for two pairs, Sai and Shin and Satsuki and Ino. Sai and Shin are practically brothers and have been training together so they felt no need to pull their punches and were actively fighting which then had to be broken up by Sadoru who gave the two a warning of not showing off since they were still under the rules imposed on them by the Hokage and the two including Hinoka were vouched for by the Anbu, so doing ridiculous stunts which would place them under suspicion is something the Anbu don't need.
The second, the fight between Satsuki and Ino, and well, it was both of their faults really, Ino believed since that they had just begun the Academy, Satsuki would go easy on her and so did the same and wasn't trying her best even with this being a simple mock fight, and so Satsuki was offended and showed it by pummeling Ino to the ground, not too harshly but harsh enough that Ino had to be taken to the Academy medic. Satsuki was let off with a warning but if she ever did not show restraint, she would receive detention and her parents would be asked to have a meeting with them.
Ino attended the next class, healed but pointedly stayed away from Satsuki and was still nervous around her even when Satsuki stiffly apologized after being forced by Sarada and Naruto who then properly apologized on Satsuki's behalf which Ino appreciated and nervously asked if they could become friends, which Naruto and Sarada agreed to since they liked making more friends.
And so the first month passed just as quickly with the teachers building up the excitement of a Taijutsu tournament at the end of the second month within their class only, and the one who won would be rewarded with a new kunai set to motivate them to train as hard as they could. Naruto gained a few rivals along the way with Kira and Satsuki blatantly declaring each other rivals and a few easy-going friends who were more on the quiet side like Shikadai, ChoCho and Harika. His relationship with the Hyuga twins grew and they were now used to seeing each other naked which led to the twins having a slight infatuation with Naruto, and their increasing closeness brought with it jealousy from the Uchiha twins, mainly Satsuki who showed slight hostility towards the Hyuga twins and Sarada who made it her mission to surpass the two in any way be it academically or practically. Wasabi, Sumire and Namida were as always his shadows never leaving him out of sight for any more than five minutes at a time which did become annoying over time but their antics became endearing as well.
The civilians who were unable to access their chakra were now able to and they would now slowly begin with Chakra control exercises, with the clan children and a few exceptions who already knew and had already mastered the three basics chakra control exercises, they were asked to help the civilian children who were struggling, this both sped up the progress and helped create bonds between them, especially like Ino and Sakura's friendship which blossomed after Sakura was being bullied because of her forehead and Ino stepped in and shoo the bullies away and helped Sakura become confident in herself.
For the Taijutsu tournament, Iruka and the others divided the class into civilian and clan children and created two separate brackets, the winner of each bracket would face off against the other. There were only fourteen clan children, including Naruto, Wasabi, Sumire and Namida since being adopted into the Hyuga clan technically made them clan children. So the bracket was as follows; Naruto and Satsuki received a free pass for the first round, Ino and Sarada, Hinata and Sumire, Harika and Wasabi, ChoCho and Hanabi, Kira and Namida, and Shikadai and Yakumo. The brackets were revealed a week before the tournament and everybody was excited about the matches except for Satsuki and Naruto who complained to Hana about it but the brackets were set so she couldn't do anything to change it.
When the day arrived, three days before the end of the month, the first day would be for the civilian bracket, the second day for the clan children and the third would be one last match between the two winners. When the students were filed out to a training ground reserved for them, Naruto received a notification;
As the Gamer is still in the Academy, all physical stats will be reduced for all students including the Gamer. For first years all physical stats are reduced to a maximum of 20, for second years a maximum of 30, for third years a maximum of 40, for fourth years a maximum of 50 and for the fifth and final years a maximum of 60. Physical stats include; strength, speed and dexterity.
'Hmm, I guess that's fair enough so the fights will be closer than before, now stressing on skill than physical attributes, I like it.'
"May I have your attention, please? Good, welcome everyone to your very first Taijutsu tournament. The rules are simple; fight until one concedes or either I or my fellow teachers will intervene and finish the match, remember. This is not a test, this is just to motivate all of you to do the very best you can and this is the only time I am warning you: do not be too severe, this is practice, not a life-or-death situation." Iruka explained. "I hope I made myself clear. Ok then, the first round starts with Sai and Hinoko, please come up and do the sign of unison."
The civilian bracket went by pretty quickly, and while most of the civilians had gotten the hang of Taijutsu, only a few piqued Naruto's interest; Sakura Haruno, Sai, Shin and Hinoko. Sakura who showed great skill in Taijutsu and was far above the others, used her smaller body to easily duck under her opponent's punches but her luck ran out when she faced off against Sai, who outclassed her by a wide margin and slowly whittled her guard down till she was breathing deeply and made sloppy mistakes. His interest in Sai was due to how in battle her face dripped out of all emotions, there was nothing, no determination, frustration, excitement, nothing, but only cold and calculated actions, and this was the same reason his interest was piqued in Shin and Hinoko. Naruto suspected those three might be a part of something but kept them to himself.
The final match came down between Hinoko and Sai, as Shin was defeated by Hinoko and would now face off against Sakura for third place, and that match was intense. Both of them showed slight emotions; and determination, but in the end, Hinoko was declared the winner.

The second day of the tournament was by far the most exciting one, even if the first few matches were boring, to say the least; the first match between Ino and Sarada was one-sided to say the least, while the system made it so that their physical stats were equal, Sarada's Taijutsu simply outclassed Inos'. The next match was between Hinata and Sumire and suffice it to say, the two didn't care about the competition at all, having trained together, they knew each other's Taijutsu style and they knew who would be the winner. Hinata has trained around a clan excelling in Taijutsu, and every waking moment was spent honing her skills compared to Sumire who had a late start but already had her first kill and could fight under pressure as well, so the fight, as Naruto expected, went pretty evenly for the first few minutes. Both needed the advantage but were unable to gain the decisive blow to defeat the other so in the end, it came down to who had the better stamina and Sumire was declared the winner.
The third fight was fought between Harika and Wasabi and once again this was a one-sided fight; Harika's Taijutsu mainly revolved around getting distance between her and her opponent to be able to use her insects, but right now, her insects weren't allowed and her Taijutsu wasn't able to evade Wasabi's ferocious attacks and so conceded as delaying the fight was in her words 'illogical'. The fourth fight was between ChoCho and Hanabi and this fight was interesting, to say the least, ChoCho's Taijutsu is most effective when using her clan's Ninjutsu to amplify it, but regardless, the power behind each punch was powerful enough to dissuade Hanabi to get to close and so she kept her distance waiting for an opportunity. Hanabi did win and all it took was a little patience as slowly but surely ChoCho's stamina failed her and Hanabi was able to make her concede though not without a price as ChoCho was able to get one last hit and bruised Hanabi's jaw.
The second-to-last fight was between Kira and Namida, and unfortunately for Kira, Namida was a really bad opponent; Namida's Taijutsu was based around sound and even without having chakra to help enhance her Taijutsu, Namida was skilled enough to minutely utilize the wind around her to gain momentum and create a high-pitched noise which greatly affected Kira's enhanced hearing and gave Namida the opening she needed to win. The last fight was between Shikadai and Yakumo and this fight was an easy victory for Shikadai, the reason behind it was that Yakumo focused more on chakra control and Genjustu and severely neglected her Taijutsu and the two months that they trained in Taijutsu was simply not enough to ensure Yakumo's victory.
So the second round would be fought between Naruto and Sarada, Sumire and Wasabi, Satsuki and Hanabi, and Namida and Shikadai.
The two most anticipated fights were between Naruto and Sarada and Satsuki and Hanabi, Sarada was the daughter of the Uchiha clan head, and Naruto, the adopted son of Hiashi Hyuga and Hitomi Hyuga, so two children of nobility were fighting each other and the same reason applied to Satsuki and Hanabi. So in short, it was the Hyugas versus the Uchihas so the class was excited about the fights.
"Naruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, please step up to the ring and make the sign of unison so that I may begin the fight." Naruto was visibly excited, having not sparred with Sarada for a long time and focusing instead on his training, he was intrigued by what new skills Sarada had learned.
"Let's do this Sarada, no holding back, got it?"
"You bet Naruto. Ooooh! I have been waiting for a day to go all out against you, this is going to be fun."
Counter Fist Taijutsu Level 12 (63%)
A Taijutsu designed by the Uchiha to be used in conjunction with the Sharingan; the Counter Fist Style simply gives a Uchiha the basics of Taijutsu, on how to best counter, deflect and use your opponent's attacks against them, but to further progress the Taijutsu, the Sharingan comes into play.

'Equal in physical attributes but I have the edge because of the bonuses my Taijutsu gave me, so I don't need to worry about losing, I'll do just fine, and just for fun, I'll toy with her.'

Naruto remained where he was as Sarada drew near her fist tightened, her face filled with pure determination and her body filled with adrenaline, her punch aimed at Naruto's face which was easily blocked by Naruto who grabbed hold of her hand and spun in circles before violently letting go, Sarada managed to right herself but at the cost of harshly tumbling to the ground, her right hand with which she dug into the ground was now slightly bloody and was feeling slightly nauseous. Naruto gave Sarada a cocky smile who returned an excited one, as once again Sarada rushed towards Naruto planning to sweep his legs under him, but to fail as Naruto jumped and flipped forward and just as Sarada got back up she was met with an open palm thrust straight to her chest which flung her back in the air and landing in Sadoru's waiting arms.
"Winner, Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto fist-bumped the air and triumphantly smiled before hurrying to check on Sarada who was being checked on by Sadoru to see if she had any injuries.
"Sadoru-Sensei, Sarada-Chan is ok, right?"
"Don't worry Naruto. Except for her right hand and her chest, she is okay and will be fine as long as she takes it easy. Now why don't you escort Sarada back to the others and spectate the other matches."
"Hai." Naruto gently grasped Sarada's now bandaged right hand and they slowly walked away from Sadoru, Naruto was concerned that he had gone a bit too hard, but Sarada just assured him that she was alright and just gripped his hand a bit tighter as they sat down, Hinata and the others congratulating him on his victory and comforting Sarada on her loss which wasn't needed seeing as she was happy, testing her limit against Naruto.
The next fight was between Sumire and Wasabi and honestly, Naruto was torn between who to cheer for so he decided to cheer for both his girls which made them pretty happy and determined to win. Sumire and Wasabi knew everything about each other, growing up together, and training together they both knew it was going to be an extremely difficult match and they simply could not think of a way to gain an advantage over the other without resorting to Ninjutsu or using their chakra. As soon as they were given the signal they rushed at each other, fists flying, grapples, kicks and lunges yet each was blocked and in return countered. They were at a stalemate and they knew it, but lucky for Wasabi, Sumire had significantly less stamina than her and so when she made slight mistakes, Wasabi capitalized on it and defeated Sumire.
The second-last match of the second round was between Satsuki and Hanabi, and Naruto did not want to miss a single second of the match.

The Gentle Fist Taijutsu Level 13 (72%)
The Gentle Fist is the famed Taijutsu style of the Hyuga clan, this style allows the clan to the full benefit of their eyes, able to accurately pinpoint chakra points within a person, they can shut down a person's chakra network, or if ruthless kill a person from the inside out. This style has also famed the clan for its clean kills.

'This is going to be a tough fight for Satsuki-Chan, facing someone who is from a clan specialising in Taijutsu training every day to better herself, and regardless of how determined Satsuki-Chan is, in a pure Taijutsu match, she will lose.'
"Sarada-Chan, who do you think is going to win?"
"Nee-San is going to win. Satsuki has been training so hard just to face you in battle and seeing how my match against you ended with me defeated, she probably already has a plan to beat you, so a small obstacle like Hanabi-San won't deter her at all."
"Well, I think Hanabi-Chan can beat Satsuki-Chan with very low difficulty because the match allows only Taijutsu and Hanabi-Chan, from what I've seen so far, compared to Satsuki-Chan has better Taijutsu, but if Jutsu were allowed, it may as well go either way."
Sarada frowned, "I guess so, but still I'll be rooting for Nee-San."
There was tension in the air; Satsuki emitted slight hostility towards Hanabi mainly because of her jealousy, and Hanabi with her regal eyes, not moved even the slightest had a look of cold determination.
"Hajime!" Satsuki launched forward closing the gap and immediately going on the attack. Every punch thrown was blocked every kick dodged and every attempt to grapple failed, time passed and Satsuki became more furious with her lack of progress and her need to win outweighed and overcame the strict rules enforced on her, and instead of her controlled and efficient Taijustu it was furious and wild, and Hanabi had to try and defend herself. The four Senseis were closely watching, ready to interfere if things got out of hand, and they did, Satsuki was able to get a lucky hit in and Hanabi tumbled to the floor, Satsuki straddled her landing punch after punch bruises formed on Hanabi and Naruto was one second away from interfering when Hana intervened and pulled Satsuki away from Hanabi, who was lying on the ground her right eye swollen shut, blood spilling from her mouth, she shakily stood up and Iruka gently grabbed her and took her aside, Naruto and Hinata following.
Iruka looked at Hanabi in concern and decided that she needed to see a Medic-Nin and decided to take her but was stopped by Naruto and Hinata who requested that they be allowed to join. It took only one look and she agreed and the four made their way into the Academy and were standing at the door of the Academy's medic within a few minutes, Iruka knocked and the four entered.
"Shizune-Nee! What are you doing here, I thought you worked at the hospital not at the Academy?" Naruto asked as he rushed forward to greet Shizune, hugging her from the waist before dragging her by the hand, "My question can wait, can you please see if Hanabi is okay, she's hurt pretty badly."
"Of course, I can Naruto-Kun. Hanabi-San, if you would follow me and lie down on this bed here, Iruka-San tell me what happened." Shizune got a swab and slowly cleaned away any blood before throwing it in a bin, channelling medical chakra to the palm of her hands hovering just slightly above the injuries as the bruises faded away and the blood stopped and in just a few minutes Hanabi was sitting and thanking Shizune for healing her.
"Not to worry, Hanabi-San, this is what I do. Now then, if there is nothing else then all of you are free to leave. I doubt you would want to miss the next match do you?"
"By, Shizune-Nee, see you later."
By the time they arrived, the match between Namida and Shikadai had already ended with Namida being the winner and the students were now waiting for Naruto to arrive so the matches would continue. Naruto first escorted Hanabi and Hinata and silently gave strict orders to Sumire and Namida to not let Satsuki near them. He ignored Satsuki who tried to gain his attention and instead got ready for his next match against Wasabi. Naruto smiled at Wasabi, a sparkle in his eyes yet his stance was that of absolute seriousness, his internal pride in facing one of his girls in combat was very visible as his whole body was shaking with excitement.
"Hajime!"
Naruto went on the attack, knowing that Wasabi would never make the first move if she was fighting against him, and as soon as he got near, he whispered, "No holding back Wasabi, or else I will be very disappointed." Accompanied by the whisper was a series of punches which Wasabi was dodging with relative grace but hearing those words switched Wasabi into high gear as her eyes narrowed and she returned all those punches with the ferocity of a cat.
Everybody was watching in awe as fists blurred, at least for the civilians, as the two fought with joy and excitement smiling from ear to ear. Their excitement was infectious as even the teachers were now smiling and the other students were cheering for them. But the fight had to end eventually and Naruto took advantage of Wasabi's relaxed state of mind and grabbed her by the arm and threw her out of the ring defeating her the same way he did Sarada.
The second Semi-Final was between Satsuki and Namida, and this was a quick one as Namida yielded to Satsuki before the match even began, this was done on Naruto's orders who wished to personally give Satsuki a lesson and Naruto didn't want them to fight on the off-chance that Namida could get hurt.
But now was the fight most anticipated; between Naruto and Satsuki.
Naruto stood ready in the ring, seemingly void of any emotions, his eyes glittering with a cold intelligence and his stance relaxed, a stark contrast to Satsuki who seemed to be a nervous wreck, her fist tightening and relaxing, her eyes darting around looking anywhere but Naruto and her body felt a slight tremble which she so desperately tried to settle. Naruto was upset with Satsuki and rightly so, she had no real reason to go overboard at the end of the fight, and he knew the reason, which he learned from Sarada, why she did it, just to fight him one-on one, and if Satsuki were to just ask him for a spar, why would he deny her request, so then and there Naruto decided that he would not take her seriously during the fight.
"What's wrong Satsuki? You're not scared, are you? Heck, even Sarada-Chan put up a better show than you, at least she even attacked me, and look it you trembling and scared. Why not yield while you still can? If you do, you'll at least save yourself the embarrassment when you lose." Naruto taunted Satsuki and it was very effective as Satsuki's hot-headed nature took over and she charged fury-filled eyes glaring at Naruto.
'Exactly as I planned; Satsuki-Chan becomes frustrated and makes sloppy mistakes, which makes it easy for me to push her around, toy with her and when the moment is right, I'll scare her just as she scared Hanabi-Chan. Then it's even.'
"So this is the strength of the Uchiha Clan's Heiress, pathetic, I'd rather fight Sarada-Chan again, at least she put up a decent fight, unlike you, who can't even land a single hit. Since you can't land a hit, and the fight is getting pretty boring, I'll just end the fight myself." All it took was one over-reached punch as Naruto grabbed her wrist and flipped her in the air, Satsuki landing on the ground. Naruto straddled her, fist raised, the four teachers watching the match waiting if things got out of hand, and Naruto saw the fear in Satsuki's eyes, his expression relaxed slightly but in a split second grew colder and he slammed his fist down beside her head, the small gasp of fear and the tears that came with it. Naruto got up and offered a hand to Satsuki who shakily took it looking towards the ground.
"Satsuki-Chan, I do expect an apology made to Hanabi-Chan. You went overboard and I don't appreciate you doing that. This is just a spar, and if you wanted to fight me, you could've just asked. Do be careful, 'cause I won't be so quick to forgive."
"I-I understand, but can I apologize later and not in front of everyone, please?"
"Sure, that's fine by me, now why don't you join me and the others."
"The winner is Naruto Uzumaki! So the final match between Naruto and Hinoko will occur tomorrow after classes. Sadoru-Sensei, and Hana-Sensei, please escort the students back to the academy. Mizuki-Sensei, please accompany me."
...
"Mama, Mama, I won the bracket, I got into the finals and I even defeated Satsuki-Chan. Hinata-Chan lost against Sumire-Chan in the first round, Hanabi-Chan lost against Satsuki-Chan in the Semi-Finals, Wasabi-Chan lost against me in the Semi-Finals, Namida-Chan lost against Satsuki and tomorrow will be one final match to decide the strongest in class, it will be between me and some girl named Hinoko. Mama, if we win can we get Ramen, please?"
"Calm down, Naruto-Kun. Let's first go home, tell your father all about the matches why don't we? Then we'll decide on your reward for winning the final, and the same goes for you girls too."
"Hai!" The six children chorused.

The next day Naruto was rather tense, not because he felt a bit under the weather, but rather with the anticipation of his fight against Hinoko. It dawned on him that this fight might be just a big struggle against his fight with Kaiza the Beast Tamer, the Hidden Dungeon Boss. Hinoko's cold, calculated eyes, her precise movements and her Taijutsu were something that made Naruto feel both apprehensive and excited at the same time. His mood was picked up on by his girls who tried comforting him in their way, which Naruto greatly appreciated but the feeling faded when they arrived at the Academy with Ko escorting them all.
A couple of hours later.
Naruto stood in front of Hinoko, already in his stance and was she, and were both patiently waiting for the signal to begin. Naruto was bouncing on the balls of his feet deciding to let Hinoko make the first move instead of himself, but it seemed that Hinoko had the same idea as he did staring at Naruto which encouraged Naruto to go on the attack. Naruto was cautious with how he engaged her; from what he had seen from her battles, she utilised a Taijutsu similar to Sumires' yet it seemed more brutal and aimed to cripple rather than incapacitate so Naruto didn't take the chance of going in close quarters on the off-chance she finds an opening and defeats him, so Naruto opted to use one of the strategies he learned from training in Uzushiogakure; hit and run, which was albeit difficult since there was limited space, but he managed to get in a couple of hits while defending himself.
The students were cheering them on mainly the civilians and a few of the clan children, while Naruto's girls, Hinata, Hanabi, Sarada and Satsuki were discussing the fight.
"Eh, Sumire-Chan, who do you think will win, Naruto-Kun seems to be cautious of Hinoko-San and is keeping some distance between them. You three know him the best, so could you tell us what's going on and why hasn't Naruto defeated her."
"Well, Sarada-Chan, the only guess I have is that Naruto wants to learn more about her strength, either that, or he just wants to fight her as long as possible,"
"But still it should be a relatively easy fight for him, don't you think, Satsuki-Nee?"
"He should, Naruto-Kun is probably stronger than all of us, but it is weird still that he is taking his time with the whole match."
Back with Naruto, he was having the time of his life, so much for him to consider, whether he should charge and deal some heavy punches and take the risk of receiving the same, or should he depend on his massive stamina and health to make the fight go longer so it falls in his favour, but with how the cheers died down and the other losing focus getting bored, except for his girls, best friends and surprisingly Sai and Shin, he decided to screw it and just end the fight.
Naruto charged, a fist aimed at her gut, his sensory abilities on high alert as Hinoko dodged the punch and retaliated with one of her own, which Naruto blocked using his right forearm and used the momentum to spin around his right leg aiming to take out hers, but Hinoko jumped, flipped in the air, her one hand outstretched seemingly wanting to grab his shin, but mistimed it using the ground to gain momentum and righted herself, now feeling a bit annoyed with herself she charged.
A couple of minutes later
"Winner, Naruto Uzumaki! And your prize: a new Kunai set."
The next few months passed quickly and Naruto found himself leading the class as the top student and contender for 'Rookie of the Year' with Satsuki securing the position as 'Kunocihi of the Year', much to Kira's ire who wished to gain that rank for herself. And as Naruto received the position of 'Rookie of the Year' he also gained another bonus of receiving a point to all stats per level, which would have been useful on the account of him actually allowing himself to level up naturally.
But now came the winter breaks and for the whole two weeks Naruto was on high alert staying close to Hinata and Hanabi, even making excuses to stay with them at all times. Naruto woke up with a bad feeling and that feeling stayed with him throughout the day, his fear was confirmed when the Game sent him a notification of a quest which he had received two years ago.

"Wasabi-Chan, would you come here for a second, I need to ask you for a favour." Wasabi quickly hurried over and sat down waiting for orders. "Wasabi-Chan, I need you, Sumire-Chan and Namida-Chan to stick close to Hinata-Chan and Hanabi-Chan, the reason I'll explain later, but I need you to watch and protect them, is that understood?"
"Hai, Naruto-Sama, is this related to any quest you may have received?" Wasabi inquired.
"It is, but for now do as I say, and do make sure that Hinata-Chan and Hanabi-Chan do not get suspicious of anything. I'll be asking about on the news in Konoha, maybe that may tell me more about this quest."
"Hai!"

"Mama, is there anything happening in the village, I've had a very bad feeling since yesterday, and just like yesterday you didn't let me or the girls go out for training, so is everything alright."
Hitomi was currently in her room meditating while Hiashi had departed from the compound along with one of his guards to go to several areas within the village mainly on the outskirts of Konoha near the village walls to deliver some documents, which could not be done through a messenger.
"Come here Naruto-Kun," Hitomi called Naruto closer to her, gesturing to her lap Naruto happily acquiesced, getting comfortable as Hitomi wrapped her arms around him. "I know that since yesterday, we have been more secretive and even more cautious, but it is for good reason; do you remember your history lesson about Kumogakure; of how they are the greediest and most ruthless of all the nations especially when it the topic is of Kekkei Genkai. But what you did not know was that even though the Third Great Shinobi War has ended, fights between Konoha shinobi and Kumo shinobi continue even to this very day, and we gained the upper hand only recently and so Kumo wishing to save face proposed a peace treaty, and I emphasise on the peace treaty, as they had no intention of allying with us. So the Raikage sent a diplomat alongside some guards to finalize the treaty between us and them. And the thing is that the Hokage has asked us, the Hyuga clan to host the diplomats for the duration of the stay so that is why I am keeping you and the girls inside until they are gone, so security in the compound has been tightened for the same reason." Hitomi glanced down at Naruto ready to comfort him if necessary but was surprised to see him relaxed and peaceful with his head smothered between her chest, "Naruto I wanted to ask a favour. Would you be a dear and look after Hinata-Chan and Hanabi-Chan where I cannot?"
"Did you really need to ask, of course, I would, but we can still train yeah, like within the compound or in the garden, otherwise we'd just be bored to death and that's no fun."
"Yes, Naruto-Kun you can, now why don't you go, I'll finish my meditation and I'll help you train later."
"Hai, Mama! Oh, and another thing, I wanted to ask, can my restriction be lifted, I promise I'll be careful?" Naruto asked waiting as Hitomi contemplated the question.
"Alright, but only if Ko goes with you, otherwise you stay here. Agree?"
"Hai!"
'Naruto-Kun and his insatiable curiosity will get him in trouble, hopefully, Ko doesn't let that happen.'

Naruto and Ko just roamed around Konoha, seemingly not having a goal in mind, and that could only be said for Ko, whereas Naruto received a notification about both the second and third objectives of his quest being revealed.
Objectives
2 Launch a pre-emptive attack on the Kumo Shinobi.
3 Let the Kumo Shinobi go through with their plan and apprehend them at the last moment.
You have to choose either one and each option has its own benefits and consequences to go with it.
So Naruto was in a dilemma; either kill the Kumo Shinobi who may be behind the eventual attack on Hinata and Hanabi or let them get near Hinata and Hanabi and then kill them then. He would take full responsibility for any blood on his hand, but he eventually decided to wait and see. Naruto reasoned that since Kumo and Konoha are bitter enemies it would not bode well for the two if he killed their Shinobi and they blamed Konoha for their deaths and war would erupt. Naruto and Ko soon returned to the compound and Naruto immediately went and checked on Hinata and Hanabi who were practising Taijutsu with his girls. Naruto let out a sigh of relief and then soon joined them, changing into his Taijutsu attire.
A week later (Hinata and Hanabi's birthday.)
For the entirety of the week Naruto was always alert, his sensory abilities active and even while training he made sure to create a few Shadow Clones to look after Hinata and Hanabi, but today was a day he felt he could relax, as today was Hinata and Hanabi's birthday, so the day revolved around them so they were never out of sight of Hitomi, Hiashi or Ko. Naruto and his girls were helping to decorate the Hyuga Main Compound in preparation for the twins' birthday and almost everybody was invited from their class; the clan children, though the invitations were sent out to the civilians as well only a few replied of their acceptance, such as Sai, Shin, Hinoko and Sakura, the last one mainly because Ino asked her to join.
The party itself went smoothly, the children played games while the adults discussed the recent arrival of the Kumogakure diplomats and the possible outcomes with the result of said treaty. A couple of hours later when all the guests left and the presents were collected and the now tired and sleeping children were put to bed, that is what Naruto wanted them to think for actually he was still wide awake, he silently created a Shadow Clone who took his place in bed while he snuck into Hinata and Hanabi's room, sat down in the corner, his sensory abilities active and his chakra signature lowered, a useful trick taught to him by Illumi.
He didn't have to wait long, and just as he predicted, he felt four unknown Chakra Signatures rapidly approaching the house. Though they had their signatures lowered, it still wasn't enough to get through Naruto's sensory abilities. Naruto had learned that today was the last day, the Kumo diplomats would be staying, so Naruto thought that this would be as good a time as any to complete their mission and as the party had just ended, the Hyugas would have lowered their guard.
The group of four entered through the window scanning the room for any traps and for anyone other than the targets, completely missing Naruto who was wearing all black, had his hair covered and his eyes closed.
"Sato, can you confirm that they are the targets?" The one named Sato went near the two, took out a photograph to compare the two and silently nodded to the supposed leader.
"Good, with these two not only does Kumo find ourselves with leverages, take too long, well we do need fresh Kekkei Genkai in our Military, and these two would be perfect for our short-term goal. Now you give both of them some local anaesthetic and we'll be out of Konoha long before they'd even notice-" Naruto couldn't wait any longer, as soon as the word anaesthesia was heard, he leapt into action chopping the leader on the back of his head, while he used his far superior speed to completely outclass the Kumo nin who was caught completely off-guard by the ambush placed by Naruto. The sound of bodies thumping to the ground woke Hinata and Hanabi who were about to scream but had their mouths covered by a clone Naruto who whispered into their ears that they were safe and so immediately calmed down.
After the four were neutralised, Naruto then flared his chakra, a nifty technique taught to him by Kimiko, but as many benefits as there are, there are also consequences and one of the said consequences was alerting anybody in a mile radius because of how much chakra he possessed, but in this situation, this was good, as all at once roughly five hundred chakra signatures flared to life and converged on their spot, the closest to them were Hitomi and Hiashi who already had their Byakugans activated so knew of the situation, immediately going to console the children, Hitomi rushing towards Naruto while Hiashi went towards Hinata and Hanabi, carrying them in their arms, Hiashi gave the twins to Hitomi as then focused his attention towards the unconscious Kumi Shinobi. Hiashi brutally used the Juken to close specific chakra points on them to ensure they wouldn't wake up anytime soon.

The next few days were pure chaos; the village was on high alert, the shinobi tense, the Uchiha Military Police were stricter in their routes and now each entrance to the village was covered by two squads of Anbu, instead of the usual one and there were now double the people up on the walls. The Hokage was furious and Naruto could tell, he could feel the emotions swirling within Hiruzen and yet his expression was calm and comforting to the almost-captured Hyuga princesses. Though Naruto's memories had to be checked as his word alone was not enough, how could an Academy student outclass four shinobi all in the range from Chunin to Jonin, when the Hokage, Inoichi Yamanaka and Hiashi Hyuga all went through his memories, they were pleasantly surprised with what they saw what Naruto went through and his thought process, his logic behind each decision combined with his gut instincts, being able to reason the most logical time when they might go through with their plan.

In Kumogakure
"Darui, call the traitorous piece of shit, Zee, here now!" The Raikage's order thundered in the office, the glass panels trembling as the pressure emitted from the fuming Raikage's body.
"Sure boss, whatever you say." The Raikage's right-hand man replied.
Only a few minutes later did the door open and a smug-looking Zee entered, a retired Shinobi he may be, but one with Kumo's best interests in mind, and his clothes depicted his personality, long royal purple robes, sandals made from the finest leather and a gleaming silver chain adorned his neck. Zee had accumulated a lot of wealth in his life, both a Shinobi, but he had other businesses on the side which allowed him to retire peacefully and using the wealth and influence he gained from his years of service, he attained the position of being the Raikage's counsel in times of need.
"You called Raikage-Sama, I presume my plan worked and in our possession, we have two prime subjects to incorporate into our indoctrination and breeding program, yes."
"No we have not, did I not deliberately tell you not to go through with your foolish plan, and you went behind my back, gave them orders to capture two Hyuga Heiresses, and what did the results bring' The Raikage's fist slammed on the table breaking it straight through the middle, "Our four men in Konoha's Torture and Interrogation department, news has spread about our treachery and our analyst report a decrease in incoming missions by 4%, damn that Gamma Sennin, and now Konoha is making demands asking for me to come to Konoha to either finalise the deal or to continue the war. I shall be going to Konoha and maybe, I'll be able to minimise the damage your idiocy has cost Kumogakure." By now the Raikage was standing, glaring out of the windows behind him, before turning towards Zee, who was now on his knees, Killing Intent swallowing up his feelings of ego and arrogance. "The program was created because of the civil war erupting in Kirigakure, to allow our Anbu to infiltrate and capture as many different Kekkei Genkai wielders as we can, and to allow our strongest of Shinobi and Kunoichi to train some and use the other to increase Kumogakure's might, but when we found nothing, I explicitly ordered you to disband the program, as it was you who suggested it and it was you who wished to head the program."
"You, Zee, are unfit to be my counsel anymore, due to your actions. You have threatened Kumogakure's safety and might, you will be placed into custody and your punishment will be decided on later. Darui, take him away."
"Yeah, whatever you say."
"Darui, prepare two squads of Jonin, they will be accompanying me to Konoha, with you, Bee and Yugito as well."
"Boss, are you sure about Yugito, she is still just a child and has just begun training, in a combat situation she will be useless," Darui asked.
"I am."

In Konohagakure (A day later)
The Raikage had arrived in Konoha, leaving behind his two Jonin Squads and taking with him Bee, his brother in all but blood, Darui, his right-hand man, C, his left-hand man and Yugito, his apprentice. They noticed that the road was deserted and the Raikage felt chakra signatures surrounding him: Anbu, checking their every move, a huge toad sitting on top of the Hokage's faces, smoking on a pipe, with the distinct figure of the Gama Sannin, and besides the toad was a huge white slug, and the distinct figure of the Slug Sannin.
"Things are serious here, boss, to have two of the Legendary Sannin in one place, alongside the third Hokage, and other notable rising prodigies, we are in a bind."
"It does not matter, as long as the matter doesn't get too out of hand, war will be avoided, a bitter war which my predecessors have fought for decades."
"Brother, Eight-O is saying that Nine-O is roughly in the area of the tower in front of us, what should we do."
"Nothing, even if there is a Jinchuriki, is only maybe seven years old, the same as Yugito, so with how much Konoha desires peace, their Jinchuriki will not be at the same level as Yugito, so rest easy."

"Welcome, Raikage-Dono, to Konohagakure, now, then let us get straight onto the matter, for which you are here," Hiruzen leaned forward, "Your Shinobi's attempted abduction of our two heiresses, and your men have already told us everything we need to know, fortunately for you, a mission you had not ordered, yet measures were not taken to ensure that such an incident would not occur, and the one who gave that order, Zee, I hope you have thought of a suitable punishment for your counsel, but moving along, my terms are simple; to the Hyuga clan, monetary compensation of a million Yen, and to Konoha, a peace treaty between our villages. But before we get into the delicate intricacies of the contract, why don't we slow down and have a chat, I wish to speak to you alone Raikage-Dono. Your guards are free to move around the village, under surveillance of course, and I will free the room of my guards. Does that sound fair, Raikage-Dono?"
"Hmph, fair enough, I suppose, but I wish for my apprentice to stay with me for the duration of the meeting, and in turn, it is only fair if your apprentice remained as well." Ay proposed.
"Oh and before I forget, Inu, you wouldn't mind bringing in Naruto-Kun, would you," Hiruzen ordered Kimiko who nodded, her worry covered by the mask she wore. A few minutes later Naruto entered the office, his eyes locking onto the bulky Raikage, and his anger rose, his chakra moved wildly around his body, but he reeled it in, as he instead focused on the girl standing next to the Raikage; Yugito had long, straight, blonde, hair bound with taut bandages, and had dark eyes. She wore a short-sleeved black and purple blouse and black pants, both of which had a design similar to clouds on them, purple fingerless gloves and a chain of blue beads wound around her left hand. She also wore bandages around her arms and legs as well as a red belt around her waist.
"You called for me Hokage-Sama." Naruto bowed towards his Kage, nodded respectfully to the Raikage and waved his hand to Yugito, who hesitantly waved back.
"Indeed I did, Naruto-Kun. You see, Raikage-Dono here, wished to meet the Shinobi who thwarted the abduction, so here you are, a First-Year Academy student, with an audience with the Kage of another village, well Naruto-Kun, do you have anything to say."
"I only have one thing to say: STAY AWAY FROM MY FAMILY!" Naruto in his anger, unknowingly tapped into the Kyubi's chakra, full of malice, hatred, and despair, it was enough for Yugito who, despite being a Jinchuriki herself, keeled down from the pressure.
"I understand. If you would lower your chakra, Yugito here is having some trouble breathing." The Raikage nonchalantly grunted a reply, which immediately made Naruto calm down as he looked at Yugito in worry, he walked near and offered a hand to her which she accepted and smiled in thanks for which Naruto replied the same.
"Naruto-Kun, you are dismissed, Inu will take you home." Naruto left, bowing to the Hokage, a respectful nod to the Raikage and this time offered his hand to say goodbye to Yugito, who took it smiling.
"He is their child," The Raikage stated.
"Indeed, he is, it just seemed fate does it not, that the first time a plan was thwarted it was from his father and now little Naruto-Kun." The Hokage smiled, "Now that you know, I wonder what you will do?"
"The answer is simple, but I have to know, your Shinobi graduate after five years in the Academy right?" After receiving a nod from Hiruzen, he continued, "Then I will place him in the Bingo Book when he turns twelve, but in honour of my strongest rival I will not reveal who he is."
"You have grown wiser, young Raikage-Dono, and I commend you for it."

A few months later the first year of the Academy had ended, with Naruto and his girls passing with flying grades and Neji who was in the year above received the title of Kunoichi of the Year, while her rival took the Rookie of the Year somebody named Konohamaru Sarutobi, and this impressed Naruto who didn't believe that there would be someone stronger than Neji.
And as the Summer holidays approached, so came the time for Naruto to once again go to Uzushiogakure, but this time there would only be him, his girls and Kimiko, and since Naruto could contact Uzushioagkure, through Mito, he was able to procure an Anbu guard for them, which would protect them as soon as they left Konoha. The month passed, Naruto returned and the remaining month left before the start of the second year in the Academy was spent either through training or just relaxing.

"Yes, he will do nicely for my experiment, nearly dead, but possesses a unique Kekkei Genkai, yes he will do nicely. Kabuto, kill the rest but take the children, in case this one fails to bring any results."
"Hai, Orochimaru-Sama."
