Walking into UA on day one, Nanashi can't help the smirk creeping onto his face. It's an old habit, always popping up, almost like a nervous tic. It's the same expression he wore after defeating the Divine Powers, as well as during the bloody battle with Dagda. No matter what he does or how he's feeling, he just can't seem to shake that vicious smirk.
Although today, the smirk is not one of satisfaction or masking his boiling fury, today that smirk of his is a symbol of victory. Atop the head that is proudly displaying said smirk, lies Nanashi's hair, now finally back in his preferred style. Although, he supposes that the fact they all passed the entrance exam is the far loftier achievement, especially considering the abysmally low pass rate and how attending UA brings them one step closer to their goal. That being said, doing the near-impossible isn't anything new for them, and is kind of boring now, in Nanashi's opinion, since they've done the actually impossible as well.
Exiting his thoughts, Nanashi turns to Asahi and Hallelujah, only reaffirming that all three of them made it, before turning back and sliding open the Class 1-A door.
"Fuck off ya damn four-eyes!"
Nanashi's smirk instantly drops into a scowl, of course the loud pain in everyone's ass would be here. Deciding to face the inevitable now instead of later, he enters the classroom alongside his friends, instantly drawing Bakugou's attention.
Bakugou immediately leaps to his feet and stalks over, "So you three shitfaces are here after all. Who the hell do you think you are to steal my moment of glory?!"
Nanashi walks past without looking back, "Not fourth place, that's for sure."
Hallelujah and Asahi join him as they find seats, completely ignoring the seating chart, much to the frustration of the blue-haired boy who had called out Midoriya at the exams.
Hallelujah lets out a sigh, "Do you really have to rile him up so much? He's just going to make an even bigger fuss about it now."
Nanashi rolls his eyes, "Until that brat learns to think outside of himself and consider that he might not be the best, I'll be there every step of the way to challenge him."
Hallelujah lets out another, more tired sigh, "Alright Leader, I'll trust your judgment on this for now. But if the situation goes south, just know that I am here to back you up."
Asahi cuts in, "Me too! Just because I'm not as strong a fighter as you two doesn't mean you can count me out!"
A small smile forms on Nanashi's face, "Of course. I don't know where I'd be without my friends."
Any further conversation is cut off as their teacher arrives. It takes a moment for most of the other students to recognize him as such, but Nanashi can see through the man's disguise. Most would say he looks like a hobo, and he does, but Nanashi can see the purpose behind the disheveled appearance. It's a tool to make opponents underestimate him, and to deflect media attention as well. This man is no ordinary person. After all his time spent researching Heroes to find his friends, Nanashi can come to only one conclusion. This man is one of the most prolific Underground Heroes, Eraserhead.
His smirk quickly returning, Nanashi indicates the new development to his friends before they separate to find their actual seats. Coming to his feet hands free, Eraserhead takes a moment to step out of his sleeping bag and glare at his assembled class.
In the back of his mind, he applauds Nanashi's awareness and good sense concerning the situation, meanwhile trying to suppress his usual disappointment with most of the other students. Pulling a folded gym uniform out of his sleeping bag, he places it on his desk to draw attention to the rest of them.
Finally speaking, he says, "I was in the classroom for ten seconds, and only one of you noticed me. Not only that, but even after revealing myself it took even longer for you all to shut up, which is no good. I suppose I'll have to introduce myself now, I'm Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher."
Many students are shocked by this reveal, but to some it seemed obvious. I mean, the man had snuck in with almost none of them noticing and seemed to have a knife strapped to his back. There were very few other candidates for his identity.
Gesturing to the gym uniforms, Aizawa continues, "We'll be having a sort of test today, so put these on and meet me out on Training Field B. Don't be late."
With that, he takes his leave, Nanashi and friends following close behind.
A/N: HI. Will I explain why this took a while? Nah. Will it happen again? Probably. Just take this and have a nice day/night/whatever.
