In the middle of Route 4, two youngsters quickly raced down the landscape of the entire place in order to reach the first town which laid the first Gym, Turffield, and the longer they ran, the more Victoria was panting whist Ash wasn't close to panting the slightest even after minutes of sprinting down a hill.

"What's wrong, Victoria, getting tired already?" Ash questioned with a smile, as Victoria stopped to catch her breath.

"How... are you... able to... still... run?" Victoria wheeze out, as she fell to the ground.

"I don't know it myself either, I just feel extremely energetic when I run. By the way, you alright?" Ash responded casually, as Victoria sighed loudly.

The two had decided to race down Route 4 to see who would get to the Gym in Turffield first to challenge Milo for their first Gym Badge, but with the distance not even close to half way being done by either one of them with Victoria's current condition, Ash decided to stop to take care of his friend.

"I think its best we take a break, don't you think? After all, you don't look too good." Ash asked Victoria, as she raised her head to look at her presumed rival.

"Why do you want to wait for me? I mean, you could have went ahead and challenge Milo." Victoria retorted, making Ash sighed.

"I mean yes, I technically could have, but what kind of friend would I be if I just left you behind as you are?" Ash responded, before walking towards Victoria with his hand stretched out.

"Let us continue by walking towards Turffield, instead of running all the way there." He added.

Victoria nodded as she got up by grabbing hold of Ash's hand, as the amnesiac Trainer pulled her up to her feet, before continuing their way towards Turffield where they were going to have their first Gym Battle.

"Say, why did you want to become a Trainer anyways, Victoria?" Ash asked in curiosity.

"Well, I have the dream of becoming a Gym Leader one day, so I became a Trainer to take part in the Gym Challenge in order to show my worth." She answered, before looking at Ash's direction.

"What about you? Why did you want to be a Trainer, Reil?" She reversed questioned him, making Ash think for a minute.

"Well, someone told me that I might make a great Trainer one day, so I decided to participate in the Gym Challenge in order to not put down his expectations." Ash responded, remembering what Rose told him back at Postwick.

Victoria was more or less impressed at Ash's words, not because it was about getting a goal but to not pull down someone's expectations on him, especially from someone who told him that they had seen hope in his potential as a Trainer.

"By the way, you said you wanted to be a Gym Leader, but isn't there already more then 8 Gym Leaders in Galar?" Ash asked, making Victoria chuckle.

"Their all from the Major Division, Reil. The gyms in Galar are split between both Major and Minor Divisions, the Major Division are usually the one that becomes the roadblocks for Gym Challengers like us, but sometimes the Minor Division gets a chance to prove their strength and might grow to become a Major Division if their performance is good." Victoria explained.

Hearing Victoria's words, Ash was impressed at Galar's Gym Leader system as they finally reached the entrance of Turffield, where they could see the Gym at a even closer range and needless to say, it was actually bigger then what the both of them had imagined, as the two of them stared at the Gym in awe from a distance.

"When I thought the Gym back at Motostoke was the only big one, this Gym here is almost just as large." Ash remarked, with Victoria nodding her head.

"You can say that again, if all of the Gym in Galar is this big, I wonder just how much time it took for them to build all eight of it." She added.

As the two of them continued to stare at the Gym from a distance, a sound of something tumbling down the hills behind them can be heard as a voice rose up.

"Young man, watch out!" A person's voice yelled, catching Ash's attention.

The amnesiac Trainer soon turned around before coming face to face with a round white object as the object crashed into Ash, causing him to fall to the ground as the object tumbled backwards before exposing its head and legs, which is revealed to be a small white sheep.

"Are you alright young man?" The person asked, as Ash lifted his head up.

As Ash lifted his head to see who had tried to warn him, but widen his eyes when he saw Milo giving his hand to Ash in order to get him to his feet, something which Ash gladly accepted as he took Milo's hand to get on his feet.

"Sorry about that, young man, I was trying to get the last of the Wooloo back to my Gym for the next set of Gym Challengers when they come and challenge my Gym." Milo explained with an apologetic tone.

"And its safe to say that I've found two more Gym Challengers, am I right?" He added, noticing the bands on both Ash's and Victoria's wrist.

"That's right, and we're here to win out first Gym." Victoria responded with enthusiasm.

Milo chuckled as he walked pass the two kids before signalling for them to follow him, whereas the Wooloo that was with him had already rolled its way down to the Gym.

"Please, follow me, let's get you two to my Gym and we'll get started." Milo told the two Gym Challengers.

As both Ash and Victoria followed Milo to the Gym in Turffield, and as if it wasn't already amazing to see the Gym from afar, the closer they got to the Gym the more larger it was made to seem as Milo soon brought the two Gym Challengers to his Gym before turning around to smile at the both of them.

"Welcome to the Turffield Gym, my name is Milo the Gym Leader of Turffield." Milo introduced himself, as the two Trainers nodded.

"My name is Reil, and this is my partner Pokémon, Ralts." Ash briefed, with Ralts waving his hand at Milo from above his head.

"Name's Victoria, and I come from Wedgehurst." Victoria introduced, as Milo nodded.

"Glad to meet you both, and just for a short brief, only one Gym Challenger is allowed to part take in the Gym Challenge at a time, so it's needless to say that only one of you get to go in and challenge it first." Milo told the two Trainers.

Hearing Milo's words, both Ash and Victoria looked at one another in wonder who was going to challenge Milo first, though it didn't take long for Ash to make his decision as he looked at Victoria.

"Why don't you go first, Victoria? After all, ladies first." He told her, making Victoria look at him in confusion.

"Are you sure?" This made Ash nod his head.

After deciding who should go first, Milo clapped his hands together before looking at Victoria who Ash had allowed to go first.

"Alright, Victoria, please change into your Gym Uniform and walk through this door." He told the young girl, before turning his attention to Ash.

"If you'd like, Reil, you can go straight to the audience seat to watch Victoria's match." He offered, with Ash shaking his head.

"I'll have to decline that offer, it's not really my thing to watch other people's battle style." Ash declined.

Milo respecting Ash's decision nodded his head as Victoria ran towards the changing room in order to change into her Gym Uniform, as Ash decided to walk out of the Gym in order to catch a small breather, only for Ralts stare at him from above his head.

"Why didn't you stay and watch, Reil? We could have learn more about Milo that way." The Feeling Pokémon questioned, making Ash sigh.

"As I told Milo, Ralts, I don't want to take a peek at Milo's battling style just so I can prove myself as a Trainer by challenging him straight at his strongest without knowing his strategy." Ash responded, causing Ralts to blink twice.

"Anyways, how about we go train a little on Route 4?" Ash suggested, making Ralts nod his head.

Ash soon walked into the plains of Route 4 before taking out two more Poke Ball as he enlarged both devices in his hand, right as he tossed them into the skies to call out his remaining Pokémon.

"Corvisquire, Pawniard, time to train!" Ash called out.

Both Poke Ball soon burst open to reveal the Raven and Sharp Blade Pokémon, as both Corvisquire and Pawniard stared at their Trainer, wondering how they were going to train with only three members on their team.

"What's the plan now? There's only three of us, we don't have a fourth member, Reil." Ralts reminded, making Ash chuckle.

"There's no need to worry about that, Ralts, if I didn't have a plan I wouldn't have suggested this training." Ash responded with a smile.

Ash then took off his bag before taking out a small board before drawing a few things on it, confusing all three Pokémon right as he presented his drawing to the three of them, in order for them to take in what he was going to explain to them.

"First we'll do a three set one on one, first match will be Ralts against Pawniard, the second will be Corvisquire against Pawniard and the third will be Ralts against Corvisquire. This way all three of you will get to battle twice, and against each other once." Ash explained, while drawing lines to each drawings he had on the board.

"That actually isn't a bad plan at all, Reil." This made both Corvisquire and Pawniard nod their heads in agree to Ralts' remark.

"Thanks. So, how about we get started right now?" Ash said with a smile.

All three Pokémon nodded as they ran to a more open area of the plains on Route 4 in order to train, as Ash took out his cooking equipment while his Pokémon trained with one another with Ralts going up against Pawniard, as Ash watched his Pokémon train, the amnesiac Trainer was already making his pot of curry in order to fill their stomachs when the three of them finishes their mock battle.

Only after a few hours, Ash begin to set down three plates of spaghetti before covering half of it with curry as he lifted his head to see that both Pawniard and Corvisquire were on the ground exhausted with Ralts standing above them with a proud look on his face, making Ash guess that Ralts had won both of his battles before opening his mouth to call the three of them.

"Foods ready, come and have your fill guys!" Ash called out.

Both Corvisquire and Pawniard quickly rose to their feet as they whiffed in the smell of the curry Ash had made, before bolting for the table he had set up shocking the amnesiac Trainer and the Feeling Pokémon as they watch both of their friends devour the plate of curry filled spaghetti, with Ash and Ralts taking slow bites as they watch his friends eat like group of hungry Snorlax.

After finishing their meals, Ash begin to wash the dishes as his Pokémon's were helping to keep the table and other cooking equipment into his camping bag, as the amnesiac Trainer soon placed the washed dishes into the bag before carrying it on his hand while at the distance towards Turffield.

"I wonder how Victoria's doing, and I think it's about time we go back to the Gym." Ash said out loud.

Ralts immediately leaped onto his head as Ash took out his Poke Ball to recall both Corvisquire and Pawniard, as he made his way back towards Turffield, in order to challenge Milo and get his first Gym Badge at the same time wondering how Victoria was doing with her Gym Battle against Milo.

After reaching the doors of the Gym, the gates to his first challenge suddenly slide open as Victoria walked out from the Gym, sighing softly as she lifted her head to see Ash standing in front of the door, with body actions saying that he was just about to enter the Gym.

"Victoria, how did your Gym Battle go?" Ash asked in curiosity, only for Victoria to give him a grin.

"It was a tough battle but I still won, take a look." Victoria responded with a grin, while displaying a ring which had a small piece embed on it.

"Milo's a tough opponent despite being the first Gym, Reil, so I'd be careful if I were you." Victoria warned, as Ash chuckled

"Don't worry I will, and I'm going to make sure I give Milo a run for his money." Ash responded with confidence, making Victoria chuckle.

"Alright, good luck in your battle, Reil. When we meet again somewhere, I hope we get to battle again." Victoria told the amnesiac Trainer, while extending out her hand to Ash.

"Thanks, and the next time we meet, you're going to see a whole new team of Pokemon to boot." He retorted, shaking Victoria's hand.

As Victoria ran pass Ash and up the hill which led down to the Gym, Ash watched as his first friend in Galar disappeared from sight before turning around to enter the Gym in order to challenge Milo, but as soon as he entered the Gym, he could already see Milo standing at the entrance of the small door which would eventually lead him to his first challenge.

"Welcome, Reil, I hope you're ready for your first challenge." Milo blurted out.

"You bet, and I'm going to win this battle!" Ash proclaimed with confidence, making Milo laugh softly.

"I look forward then, if you're ready, please change into your Gym Uniform and let us be on our way." Milo gestured.

Ash watched as Milo walked through the small gate, as he rushed towards the changing room to change into his Gym Uniform, but as he was inside of the changing room in order to change into his uniform, Ralts stood on the chair looking up on his Trainer.

"Who are you going to send out first, Reil? I'm sure Milo already has a plan to deal with Corvisquire, if even a Bug Type user like Victoria had a hard time." Ralts asked, as Ash slipped on his shirt.

"We'll see how things go, Ralts. If things aren't as bad as it looks, then I'll probably send out Pawniard or you first." He answered.

Upon changing fully, Ash walked out of the changing room before running for the foot which would lead him to his first challenge in the Galar League, and as he did, Ash came into contact with a long and dark tunnel as he continued to run down what seems to be an endless yet long tunnel before finally seeing light at the other end.

However, as he stepped onto the edge of the tunnel, Ash could only widen his eyes when he saw the gigantic field before him, with possible a hundred over audience sitting on the seat above him before noticing Milo who was standing beside him, having already waited for him to enter, as he smiled at Ash with a face filled with confidence.

"I hope you're ready for a battle of a lifetime, Reil, because my Grass Types and I aren't going down that easily." Milo openly declared.

"You bet, and believe it when I say I'm going to make you run for your money, Milo." Ash retorted with confidence.

Both Trainers soon made their way down the gigantic field where a large amount of audience had gathered to watch their battle, as they both stopped at the center of the field with Milo locking his eyes on Ash with a smile on his face.

"May the best Trainer wins, Reil." He remarked.

After his short speech, both Ash and Milo soon turned to walk into the respective Trainer box as a green drone-like Rotom flew down from the sky as it stopped in the center of the field with both Trainers reaching the center of their boxes as the two of them turned around to face one another with the drone-like Rotom looking at both sides.

"The Gym Battle between Gym Leader Milo and Gym Challenger Reil will now begin! Each Trainer is allowed two Pokémon and the battle will be over when one side is unable to continue." Rotom ruled out, as the drone took a quick glance at both sides again.

"Trainer are to send out their Pokémon at the same time!" It added.

Rotom's last line of speech made Ash and Milo take out their first Poke Ball as they enlarged it in their hands, just as the small drone raised one of its hands.

"3."

"2."

"1!"

At the given signal, both Ash and Milo threw out their individual Poke Ball as Ash's Poke Ball burst open to reveal Corvisquire as the Raven Pokémon took flight, right as Milo's own Poke Ball burst open to reveal a kangaroo-like Pokémon with mushroom features, as Ash took out his Rotom Phone for a quick Intel.

"Breloom, the Mushroom Pokémon, Grass and Fighting Type. Breloom is able to deliver swift punches with its extendable arms and close in on opponent's with quick footwork, Breloom are also able to incapacitate its enemies by releasing spores from its head." Ash's Rotom Phone detailed.

"Breloom vs Corvisquire, begin!" Rotom exclaimed.

"You can have the first move, Reil." Milo offered, as Breloom smashed its hands together in a readied manner.

"I'll take you up on that offer, Milo." Ash accepted, before looking at Corvisquire.

"Brave Bird!" He ordered.

Corvisquire immediately flew into the sky as he charged at Breloom with body covered in a reddish-orange flame, but as Corvisquire got closer towards Breloom, Milo wasn't seem to giving the Mushroom Pokémon any command, until the gap between Corvisquire and Breloom got too small.

"Use Bulk Up and hold it down!" Milo commanded.

Upon hearing his command, Breloom's body immediately turned bulkier as the Grass and Fighting Type Pokémon held out its hand to hold onto Corvisquire, who's body was still radiating his Brave Bird attack shocking Ash as the Mushroom Pokémon was hold down an attack that had four times the advantage against it.

"A word of advice, Reil, never charge at an opponent who's strength you don't know." Milo warned, confusing Ash as the Grass Type Gym Leader looked at his Pokémon.

"Toxic!" He ordered.

Ash widen his eyes as Breloom shot out a purple blob from its mouth at Corvisquire, effectively sending the Raven Pokémon backwards as purple bubbles started to appear above Corvisquire's head, indicating that he was poisoned by the Toxic attack thrown at him by Breloom.

"Now, Mach Punch!" Milo issued out.

Breloom quickly got lower in its battle stance before rushing at Corvisquire with its right arm glowing white, as Ash looked at the Raven Pokémon as the two of them nodded their heads.

"U-Turn!" Ash yelled out in command.

Corvisquire immediately charged at Breloom before kicking the Mushroom Pokémon on the head, as he vanished back into his Poke Ball, causing Breloom to miss its attack, right as Ralts appeared above the Mushroom Pokémon, having swapped places with Corvisquire with U-Turn, shocking Milo as Ash started to grin.

"Disarming Voice!" He ordered.

Ralts who was above Breloom's head, quickly let out a ring of pink energy alongside a loud scream as to not give the Mushroom Pokémon any chance to dodge, as the Grass and Fighting Type used its hands to shield itself before being send back by a small explosion, with Ralts landing on the ground.

"Rotom didn't say we can't swap Pokémon, so, this is the best way to do it." Ash told his opponent, making Milo laugh a little.

"You're the first Trainer in 3 years to pull that off, Reil. Now I see why the chairman had enrolled you himself." Milo complimented.

Breloom soon straighten itself before shaking its head to shook of the effect of Ralts' Disarming Voice, before getting back into its battle stance, getting ready to continue the battle as Milo put out his hand in order to issue a command.

"Mach Punch!" The Grass Type Gym Leader commanded.

Breloom's right fist immediately glowed in a white light, before rushing at Ralts with incredible speed but without any commands given from Ash to Ralts, the Feeling Pokémon quickly vanished from the field making Breloom miss its attack, confusing the Mushroom Pokémon as Ash's voice came into motion.

"Brave Bird!" He yelled.

After hearing Ash's voice of command, Breloom was send flying back to Milo by Corvisquire who was covered in a reddish-orange flame, as the Raven Pokémon dispersed his attack after striking a Super Effective hit, going back in front of Ash before flinching in pain from his still poisoned condition.

As strong as its will is, Breloom managed to once again get back on its feet as the Grass and Fighting Type begin to stretch its body to check how much damage was done by Corvisquire's Brave Bird, before getting back into a battle ready position, shocking Ash at Breloom's endurance.

"Even after taking a hit from Ralts' Disarming Voice and Corvisquire's Brave Bird, Breloom can still stand this steadily?" Ash thought to himself.

"While my Pokémon may be Grass Types, Reil, that doesn't mean they'll go down after a few hits." Milo voiced with a warning.

"Underestimating your opponent's is a sure way to lose the battle and this is what I meant, show them, Breloom!" Milo called out.

"Bre!" Breloom roared out before slamming its fist onto the ground.

As Breloom's fist made contact with the floor, large pillars of rocks started to emerge from the ground as they quickly made their way towards Corvisquire, shocking Ash at Breloom's newly performed attack, before looking at Corvisquire.

"Dodge it, try to get in close to Breloom and use Drill Peck!" Ash ordered.

Corvisquire nodded at his command before moving side ways to avoid being hit by Breloom's dangerous attack, however, the more he moved about the more smaller his space for flying got, as Milo chuckled upon seeing that Corvisquire had nowhere but one way to go.

"Now for the finisher, Rock Slide!" Milo commanded.

Ash widen his eyes as Breloom raised its hands into the air before forming a large invisible ring above Corvisquire's head, as large boulders started to drop down on the Raven Pokémon, shocking the Raven Pokémon as the attack brought the Flying Type Pokémon to the ground.

"Corvisquire!" Ash called out in concern.

As the smoke from the attack cleared out, the Rotom Drone flew down to check on Corvisquire's condition, only to find the Raven Pokémon laying down beneath the shattered rocks, before flying to a place in the air where everyone can see it before raising its right hand.

"Corvisquire is unable to battle!" It declared.

Ash sighed a little before taking out Corvisquire's Poke Ball to recall the Raven Pokémon, before grasping his ball in his hand while looking at it with smile on his face, obviously happy about Corvisquire's growth.

"You did well, Corvisquire, now leave to Ralts and I." Ash told the Poke Ball.

After thanking Corvisquire, Ash looked at the top of his head with Ralts teleporting into the field, becoming Ash's only Pokémon remaining, as the Feeling Pokémon looked at the Mushroom Pokémon with eyes of determination.

"Lets show them the results of our training, Ralts!" Ash yelled out.

"Breloom, use Toxic!" Milo commanded.

The Mushroom Pokémon quickly created a purple ball of toxic, as Ash looked at Ralts before waving his hand to the side, preparing to give Ralts an order to follow.

"Teleport and use Disarming Voice!" Ash ordered.

Ralts immediately vanished into thin air as the ball of poison missed its mark and hit the ground, with Ralts appearing above the Mushroom Pokémon before unleashing a loud cry followed with a ring of pink energy down at the Grass and Fighting Type Pokémon, who instinctively guarded itself with its hand, causing a small explosion to occur upon impact.

As the smoke starts to clear out on the field, Breloom was visibly shaken by the force of Ralts attack, having been slightly worn out with its battle with Corvisquire, making Ash chuckle a little as he watch the Mushroom Pokémon stumble backwards slightly.

"Looks like Breloom's running out of energy, I've just got to handle this in a steady pace and look for a weak spot." Ash thought to himself.

"Breloom, use Stone Edge!" Milo commanded.

Breloom quickly raised its right fist before slamming it down onto the ground, causing several pillars of rocks to emerge from the concrete floor as they made their way towards Ralts, with Ash and Ralts focusing on the incoming attack, but as the Stone Edge got closer, Ash gave a light smile.

"Shadow Sneak!" He commanded, shocking Milo at the word of command.

Ralts' body quickly turned purple as he vanished into the ground, making Breloom miss its attack before making his way towards the Mushroom Pokémon, but before Milo could give an order to dodge, a large shadowy figure appeared behind Breloom as Ralts sends the Grass and Fighting Type flying with a large smack, as he rose from the ground.

As Breloom was send tumbling to the side where it finally stopped rolling, the Rotom Drone soon went down to check on its condition, before noticing the swirl in its eyes as it raised its left hand to signal Breloom's defeat.

"Breloom is unable to battle!" It declared.

"Alright! That's one down!" Ash cheered loudly, with Ralts returning to his side of the field.

Milo sighed softly before taking out Breloom's Poke Ball as he recalled the Mushroom Pokémon, while giving the device a smile with gratitude.

"You did great, Breloom, now take a rest." He told the Mushroom Pokémon.

The Grass Type Gym Leader then kept Breloom's Poke Ball in his pocket, before taking out his second and final Poke Ball before enlarging in his hand, before lifting his head to face Ash with a smile on his face.

"You're more impressive then you look, Reil." Milo complimented, making Ash chuckle a little.

"Thanks, but the battle isn't yet over." Ash responded.

His response made Milo laugh a little, as the Turffield Gym Leader tossed his Poke Ball into the air to reveal a small Pokémon with a light green head, wearing a sort of cloak with a large cotton behind its head, as Ash immediately took out his Rotom Phone.

"Eldegoss, the Cotton Bloom Pokémon, Grass Type. Eldegoss uses the cotton behind its head to cushion the attack of anything from behind it, the seeds within Eldegoss' cotton are also very nutritious and can be spread around as seeds by wind when Eldegoss spins around." Ash's Rotom Phone detailed out.

After receiving information abort Eldegoss from his Rotom Phone, Ash decided to keep the device into his pocket before looking at the front, where the Rotom Drone flew down to look at both sides, before flying back above both Pokémon.

"Eldegoss, Sunny Day!" Milo commanded.

Eldegoss quickly let loose a loud cry, as the clouds above the entire stadium flew aside to reveal a large ray of sunlight, forcing Ash to cover his eyes slightly before looking back at the field, wondering what Milo's plan was by using Sunny Day.

"Eldegoss probably has an ability to do with Sunny Day, or his preparing to use Solar Beam." He thought to himself.

"Weather Ball!" Milo instructed.

Ash raised an eyebrow at the word of attack, as Eldegoss created a large white ball before tossing it into the skies above Ralts's head, as it suddenly burst out in flames forcing Ralts to dodge back in instinct, as the field in front of him was set mildly on fire.

"That was dangerous." Ralts mumbled to himself.

Ralts gulped slightly at Eldegoss' attack before lifting his head to see his opponent, whereas Ash was slightly confused about Eldegoss' attack, right as Milo decided to call out to him.

"Reil!" He called out, successfully catching Ash's attention.

"You probably already realised by now, that the battle has only just gotten more serious from hereon out." He told the amnesiac Trainer.

"Let me show you, how the battles in Galar are fought. Its time to Dynamax, Eldegoss!" Milo roared out.

Shocking Ash as Milo recalled Eldegoss back into its Poke Ball before holding it on his right hand as he tilted his hand side ways, as bright purplish-pink particles flew out of his Dynamax Band, before injecting itself into his Poke Ball as the device starts to enlarge to twice the size and three times more, as the Turffield Gym Leader tossed it into the air.

The humongous device soon burst apart to reveal a small black silhouette of Eldegoss, before enlarging to twice the size and three times bigger after the first enlargement before landing on the ground, causing a huge magnitude around the field, making Ash and Ralts widen their mouths at the sheer size of Eldegoss.

"THAT IS HUGE!" Ash roared out in pure shock.

Ash's expression soon made Milo laugh loudly, as the Turffield Gym Leader looked at the young man in front of himself.

"Why don't you try Dynamaxing your Ralts, Reil? First, recall Ralts back into its Poke Ball and inject the Dynamax Energy within your Dynamax Band into the Poke Ball." Milo instructed with guidance to Ash.

"Alright, I'll give it a shot." Ash nodded in response, as he took out Ralts' Poke Ball.

He soon started by recalling Ralts back into his Poke Ball, before tilting his right hand side ways as the same purplish-pink energy flowed out of his Dynamax Band before going into his Poke Ball, causing it to turn white as it grew to twice and the size and eventually three times the size, nearly making Ash drop the humongous Poke Ball, as he used both his hand and all of his strength to toss it into the field.

After doing so, the humongous white Poke Ball burst open to reveal a small black silhouette of Ralts, as the figure enlarged itself to twice the size and eventually three times larger, as Ralts landed on the ground with a large magnitude shook the area, nearly making Ash fall being unable to withstand the huge magnitude caused by a Dynamax Pokémon as of yet.

"Great job, Reil, you're a fast learner." Milo congratulated with a smile.

"If you're ready, then let us begin our battle for real." He added.

Ash nodded as Ralts got ready for battle in his Dynamax form against Milo's Dynamax Eldegoss, as both Dynamax Pokémon stared at one another, preparing themselves for battle as Milo put his hand out to issue a command.

"Eldegoss, Max Flare!" He ordered.

Hearing a new word of attack, Ash looked on as Eldegoss created a large fireball in front of itself before blasting it towards Ralts, who guarded himself with his hands, causing a large explosion to occur forcing Ash to cover his face as the force of the attack flew through the entire stadium, with a mysterious wall blocking the audience from the bits of Eldegoss' Max Flare.

"Ralts!" Ash yelled out in concern.

The huge smokescreen soon started to dissipate from the field, as Ralts stumbled two steps backwards, with visible burn marks on his body, after being hit by Eldegoss' Max Flare, making Ash sweat a little as he looked at the Feeling Pokémon in order to issue a command.

"Ralts, use Disarming Voice!" Ash instructed.

Ralts nodded as he soon created a large portal of pink energy, before unleashing a volley of huge yellow stars down upon Eldegoss, as each stars erupted into a giant pillar of pinkish-blue energy, forcing the Cotton Bloom Pokémon to stumble backwards slightly in order to avoid getting hit, as Ash raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"That's not Disarming Voice." He said out loud, as Milo chuckled lightly.

"I forgot to tell you something, Reil. When a Pokémon Dynamax, their moves changes into something called the Max Moves, each different type has their own unique Max Moves and that was Max Starfall." Milo explained, giving Ash tips about Dynamax Battles.

"Max Moves?" Ash repeated before taking out his Rotom Phone.

"That's right, from what I can see your Ralts should be able to use Max Phantasm, Max Starfall and Max Guard." Milo told the younger Trainer, as Ash started to note down everything on his Rotom Phone.

After noting down the attacks relating to Max Moves, Ash quickly lifted his head to face Ralts who was waiting for Ash to issue a command for him to follow.

"Max Phantasm!" He ordered.

Hearing Ash's command, Ralts started to glow in a purplish-black light before constructing several objects from nothing, while making them glow in a purplish-black light, as the Psychic and Fairy Type threw the attack at Eldegoss' direction.

"Max Guard!" Milo told the Cotton Bloom Pokémon.

Eldegoss soon created a large light blue barrier to defend itself, as the Ralts' Max Move made contact, dealing not so much as a scratch to Eldegoss' Max Guard, as the barrier soon disappeared after making contact with Ralts' Max Phantasm.

"Let's show them what being a Grass Type Gym really means, Eldegoss! Max Overgrowth!" He yelled out.

Eldegoss soon started to glow in a veil of green energy, as large brown seeds started to form around the Cotton Bloom Pokémon, as Ash turn his head to Ralts right before Eldegoss fires its attack.

"Protect yourself with Max Guard!" He commanded.

Ralts soon started to form a light blue barrier in front of himself, but before it could be fully constructed, Eldegoss quickly fired the seeds at Ralts' direction as each of them grew into a giant green mushroom around the Feeling Pokémon before exploding one by one, dealing a series of damage to the Psychic and Fairy Type.

"Ralts!" Ash called out in worry.

The chain of attack soon ended as Ralts was visibly panting at the sheer damage he had sustained while Dynamax, as Eldegoss was still quite healthy, with Milo putting his hand out.

"It's time to finish this, Eldegoss! Use Max Flutterby!" Milo told the Grass Type Pokémon.

Eldegoss soon started to create multiple small multicolour orbs around itself before unleashing a beam of light green energy from each orbs around itself with small multicolour butterflies at Ralts, who was still recovering slightly from his injuries.

"Use Psybeam!" Ash ordered, not knowing what the Max Move for Psybeam was.

Ralts then gathered his resolves as he created a large orb of violet energy in both hands before tossing it up into the skies, as it rained down multiple rings of the same coloured energy at Eldegoss' Max Flutterby, making both Max Move clash together.

While both attacks was of equal power, Eldegoss' Max Flutterby started to push back Ralts' Max Move as the Feeling Pokémon was trying his best to hold his own ground, as his attack was getting pushed back little by little, with Ash looking at his Pokémon with determination.

"Don't give up, Ralts! I know you can do this, even if they are strong, we can be stronger together!" Ash cheered on, as Ralts looked even more determined.

"Raa!" Ralts screeched out, as his body started to glow in a bright blue veil shocking both Milo and Eldegoss.

In the midst of changing form with the bright blue veil, Ralts' attack got larger and larger as the beam eventually overwhelmed Eldegoss' Max Move sending the Cotton Bloom Pokémon flying backwards as it hit the ground hard, with the blue veil shattering to reveal a newly evolved Ralts.

Ralts was now visibly standing on two legs with a slightly more humanoid figure, his red eyes were now fully revealed with his helmet-like structure growing longer reaching to his shoulder with the red horn-like object appearing on each side of his head.

"Ralts, evolved?" Ash questioned before taking out his Rotom Phone.

"Kirlia, the Emotion Pokémon, Psychic and Fairy Type. Kirlia is able to use its horns to increase its psychokinetic powers, with its increase in psychic power, Kirlia is able to create a scenery of mirage which allows it to see into the future." Ash's Rotom Phone explained loudly.

Ash's newly evolved Kirlia soon started to look at himself, as Ash decides to wave his hand after noticing that Eldegoss was still recovering from the damage it had sustained from Kirlia's previous Max Move.

"Kirlia, use Max Starfall and finish it!" Ash proclaimed loudly.

Kirlia nodded as he soon unravelled a large portal of pink energy, causing multiple yellow stars to rain down from said portal at Eldegoss, but before Milo could give his Pokémon a command to follow, the stars soon landed around Eldegoss exploding upon impact as a huge cloud of dust can be seen, with Ash and Milo covering their faces from the sheer impact of Kirlia's Max Starfall.

However, from within the cloud, an outline of Eldegoss can be seen as a beam of red light shot out from the flu d of dust with the outline of the Cotton Bloom Pokémon getting smaller and smaller, eventually returning to its normal size, as Kirlia's body too glowed in the same red veil before shrinking down to his original size with a beam of red light, as the Rotom Drone flew down towards Eldegoss.

"Eldegoss is unable to battle, Kirlia wins! Therefore the winner of this Gym Challenge, is Challenger Reil!" It declared.

After hearing the word of his first victory in his Gym Challenge career, Kirlia immediately jumped into Ash's hand as the young Trainer laughed excitedly about his first major victory, with the audience cheering for the amazing battle they had just seen.

"We won!" Ash and Kirlia exclaimed loudly, as Milo walked up towards the both of them.

"That was an amazing battle, Reil. I did not expect Ralts to evolve during our Dynamax Battle, truly amazing." Milo commented, while putting out his hand.

"Thanks, Milo. It was thanks to you giving me guidance about Dynamax Battle that we won, if you hadn't, I doubt we know what to do." Ash voice out with admittance, while shaking Milo's hand.

"Its our job to make sure Trainers like you grow, Reil. So, here's the token as proof of your victory in Turffield." Milo responded, while taking something out of his pocket.

After retrieving what he needed to take from his pocket, Milo soon presented Ash a small gold piece with a grass shaped symbol on it, as the amnesiac Trainer took it from his hand, with Milo smiling brightly at him.

"That's the Grass Badge, its one of the eight badges you need to collect in order to participate in the Galar League." Milo told him, as Ash started to fix the small piece onto the ring he was given by the League Staff.

"Thanks, Milo, I appreciate it." Ash thanked.

"Your next Gym Challenge is at Hulbury pass Route 5, I wish you the best of luck, Reil." Milo told the young Trainer.

Ash nodded his head as he rushed out of the huge stadium in order to change his clothes, with Kirlia following him from behind, as the two of them ran down the never ending tunnel together, while expressing their joy in their victory.

"I still can't believe we won." Ash started, as Kirlia nodded.

"True, but now we have another issue, because I look like a girl!" Kirlia shrieked as Ash laughed lightly.

"Don't worry, Kirlia. When I was reading about your information just now, I saw that you can evolve into two kinds of Pokémon, so until we learn how you can evolve, you'll just have to hang tight for now." Ash told his grumbling partner.

After finally changing his clothes, Ash started to pack his Gym Challenge uniform into his bag before running out of the Gym and towards the route of his next destination, with his Pokémon following right behind him, knowing that his journey was just getting started.

Greatest apologies for the extensively long wait, I know some of you have been dying to wait for a new update to appear and here it is.

A/N: In case any of you were wondering why Eldegoss can use Max Flare, the answer to it is simple. Weather is a move which follows the condition of the weather, becoming fire under sunlight, therefore it becomes Max Flare and not Max Strike.

Otherwise,

PEACE!
