Hey everyone, thank you so much for all the amazing comments and reviews! I loved them so much that I decided to write another chapter sooner then I was planning. It is quite short as it just felt like a natural stopping point as I was writing but I hope you all enjoy it hope all is well out there!

I do not own Harry Potter.

Chapter 6

When next Harry awoke, it was to a dark and empty room and a whole lot of pain. He sat up and gasped as pain rippled through his body, he blindly reached for his glasses on the bedside table and thankfully found them there. Able to see more clearly, he looked around confused about where he was and what had happened. He vaguely remembered Sirius talking to him, but that couldn't be right, and a bunch of other people, but the memory was foggy, and Harry found it hard to focus through the pain. He heard footsteps outside his room and quickly looked for his wand but couldn't find it anywhere.

Harry tensed as the door swung open, but quickly relaxed when he realised it was Remus standing before him. A Remus who looked remarkably younger and in much better health then the Remus that Harry was used to. He tried to focus but the pain coursing through his body was making it exceedingly difficult.

"Remy?" Harry asked weakly. "What's happening? Why do you look so different?"

"Shh Harry, it's OK" Remus said as he walked into the room, Harry tensed further and tried to move across the bed away from the other.

"You must be in a lot of pain, here take this pain reliever potion and then we can talk."

Harry looked suspicious but couldn't deny that he was in desperate need of some pain relief.

He uncapped the potion and sniffed it, closely examining it before swallowing it down.

He felt his body instantly relax and knew there must have been a calming draught mixed in, the pain still lingered but was at a much more manageable level.

Before Harry could start questioning Remus again several more people appeared in the doorway and slowly entered the room.

Harry was so focused on the person in front that he didn't even notice the others.

"Sirius!?" He croaked in disbelief. One hand came up to rub his eyes, the other to grasp at the front of his shirt.

"What the hell is going on here!?" Harry cried and even with the calming draft he could feel himself starting to panic.

"It's OK Harry, we'll explain everything, but you need to calm down first" Remus said gently, in his usual no nonsense tone that Harry found himself obeying without thought.

He took several deep breaths, feeling his heart start to slow a little.

Harry could see that there were even more people standing out in the hall, who hadn't come in. He was grateful for that, especially since he didn't have a clue what the hell was going on.

Harry looked at Sirius, his eyes tracing the younger less haggard features before looking up at Remus expectantly.

"What do you remember Harry?" Remus asked and Harry had to think carefully before answering.

"I remember an attack at Grimmauld place… and Sirius?" Harry said, turning confused eyes to the other teen. I vaguely remember some other conversations and people but it's kinda hazy." He rubs his hand through his hair wearily.

"How are you here Sirius? Where is here?" Harry asked, looking at Sirius so intently that he couldn't help but squirm. Those large green eyes were nearly hypnotic.

Remus cleared his throat to gain his attention.

"You are safe here at Grimmauld Place and It seems that you have travelled back in time" Remus said succinctly.

Harry looked at him nonplussed, his tired brain struggling to make sense of what Remus had said.

"Huh?"

A man who had been standing in the doorway stepped forward.

"It seems that you were under attack at Grimmauld Place and the wards on the house, sensing that you were the last Black flung you back in time to save you."

Harry threw off the covers in agitation and tried to get out of bed, only to find himself collapsing in a heap after only a few steps.

"Harry!" Several voices cried and Harry felt strong arms pick him up and place him gently back on the bed.

"Ok, so no getting out of bed" he said softly, trying to rub the pain out of his legs.

He looked up at the man who had spoken and frowned.

He wouldn't rule out the possibility that he had travelled back in time, crazy shit always seemed to happen to him.

"Who are you and why the bloody hell do you think I've travelled back in time?"

"I am Orion Black."

Harry glanced at Sirius; "Sirius' father" Harry murmured, getting a nod from the man.

"You arrived on the stairs a few days ago, after we had a healer see to you, you spoke briefly about who you are, and you mentioned that you're from the year 1996. Seeing as it is currently 1977 it wasn't a difficult leap to make that you are a time traveller."

Harry gaped at the man in astonishment. Orion raised his wand and cast a tempus showing the date and time to prove to Harry that he was telling the truth.

"1977! That bloody Potter luck!" Harry growled looking furious.

"Potter luck?" Someone near the door said bemusedly, but Harry was too annoyed to answer.

"Why on earth would I tell you all that?" Harry asked. He didn't think that he would just blurt out that he was from the future to the first people he came across.

Orion looked a bit sheepish. "Ah you were under the influence of some strong potions and they seemed to make you… very honest."

Harry felt his face start to heat, "oh God" he groaned. "W-what did I say?"

Orion hesitated, "you did say a few things, but now is not the time to discuss it. We can talk more in the morning after you've gotten some rest."

"Rest… you seriously expect me to rest after finding out I've just travelled back in time! We should be talking about how we're going to get me back home" Harry said agitatedly.

Remus and Sirius shared a look.

"We can talk in the morning" Sirius said gently.

Harry was about to argue again but found that he just didn't have the energy, so he just nodded resignedly.

Everyone started to move toward the door and Harry felt his heart begin to pound at the idea of being alone in this strange bedroom twenty years in the past.

"Sirius" He said, panic lacing his tone. "D-Do you think you could stay with me for the night? It's a lot to take in, that's all."

Sirius looked at the small teen lying on the bed, he looked even smaller, shrunken in on himself, cheeks pink. He glanced at Remus who merely shrugged.

"Sure, I can do that" Sirius said, with a gentle smile.

Harry fiddled nervously with his blanket before pulling it aside and looking up at Sirius. Sirius took the hint and slid into the bed next to Harry. Orion cast one more look over the room before leaving, pulling the door shut behind him.

"Good night Harry" Sirius whispered as he closed his eyes and prepared to go to sleep.

Harry felt a bit self-conscious having asked Sirius to stay with him, but knew it was the right decision. Even though this Sirius was younger, it was still someone familiar. He would've asked Remus to stay as well if he thought he could've got away with it.

Harry heard Sirius' breathing even out and was amazed that his Godfather could fall asleep so quickly. Harry felt so tired, the kind of bone deep weariness that made him think that he could sleep for the next year quite easily. Unfortunately, his brain was still trying to process the fact that he had gone back in time… that his teenage Godfather was sleeping peacefully beside him. He thought of his parents, if he was in 1977 his parents were still alive… should he try to see them before he returned to the future? His heart ached, he wanted to meet them so badly, but would he be able to without warning them of what the future would hold and changing everything. He wondered how long he would have to stay in the past before being able to return to the future. Harry rolled over to look at Sirius beside him, young, alive and healthy. His eyes traced the smooth face, the dark curly waves and he couldn't hold back a small smile. He closed his eyes, feeling darkness creeping around the edges of his vision. Of all the fucked-up things to have happened to him in his life, this would have to be the best.
