As night befall in the Galar Region, Ash who had set up camp in the Wild Area after his victory against Kabu in Motostoke, was now sleeping for the day, where his Pokémon were sleeping around the camp, both inside and outside his tent, as the amnesiac Trainer was shuffling in his sleep.

"Have you thought of what you're going to do when you're done with tour journey?" A voice he didn't recognise in his dream spoke.

"When you come and visit Petalburg City Gym, you bet I'll be the one who is going to challenge you!" Another voice rang out, though it sounded younger then the other.

As Ash's dreams continues to play unrecognisable voices in his head, Gallade was soon woken up by Ash's non-stop shuffling, before looking at his Trainer, who's head was trailing with cold sweat from the adream he was having.

"Reil, wake up, Reil!" Gallade called out, shaking Ash awake as he did so.

"Oh, it's you, Gallade." Ash mumbled, while holding onto his head from the dream he just had.

"What's wrong? Had a bad dream like before?" The Blade Pokémon asked in concern.

Ash remained silent for a while as he tried to remember the voices in his dream, but no matter how hard he tried, the voices just didn't return to his head as he finally nodded his head at Gallade's question, taking it as nothing but a bad dream.

"Yeah, it's like before, but I feel like it's getting much worse." Ash responded, before looking at Gallade.

"Sorry for waking you up in the night, we better get some rest before heading for Hammerlocke." Gallade nodded in response, as both Trainer and Pokémon went back to sleep.

As the night continued to cover the skies, the silhouette of two figures can be seen from a far away tree near their campsite, before slowly retreating into the darkness, where they figure entirely fades into the wind like smoke, leaving behind not even a single footprint.

The morning sun soon rise up high in the sky, as Ash and Gallade were now making their way through the vast open fields of the Wild Area, all while Ash was looking at the navigations on his Rotom Phone to see which way he should go in order to reach Hammerlocke.

"It says here that we should be able to reach Hammerlocke by getting to Hammerlocke Hills, which is located beyond Bridge Field pass Motostoke Riverbank." Ash read the instructions given by his Rotom Phone.

"Is that the riverbank?" Gallade asked, pointing at a certain direction.

Ash took the time to look at his Rotom Phone while matching the direction Gallade had pointed with the picture shown on his Rotom Phone, before noticing that it was indeed the riverbank they had been searching for the last hour.

"That's it alright, at least that's what our Rotom Phone has to say." Ash responded.

With confirmation from Rotom Phone about the riverbank, Ash and Gallade continued down the road before stopping in front of a bridge connecting the two areas, where they noticed that the scenery was much different compared to the Wild Area near Motostoke.

"Just across this bridge is the road to Hammerlocke, where we will be able to get our fourth Gym Badge." Ash told the Blade Pokémon.

"We have to be careful about our battles from this point on, Reil. After all, the opponents pass this bridge are no easy opponents." Gallade responded, making Ash nod in response.

As the two of them continue their way down the bridge towards their next stop, Ash and Gallade suddenly stopped themselves in front of what appears to be a rather large hole in the ground, as the amnesiac Trainer squat down to look at the hole.

"This is a rather big hole, if I do say so myself." He commented, looking at the deepness of the hole.

"Doesn't seem like it was dug by a Pokémon though, the hole is just too deep and large for a Pokémon to create such a feat." The Psychic and Fighting Type added.

All while they were observing the hole before them, trying to figure out what or who dug it, noises of a rather loud stampede can be heard behind them, as Ash got up to look at the direction from which the noise was coming from.

Upon doing so, Ash could see two figures of a boy and a girl running away from a group of bull-like Pokémon coloured brown, as the two of them were rushing towards the right side of the Wild Area with intensified speed too quick to be called normal, as the Pokémon behind them continued to give chase.

"Tauros, the Wild Bull Pokémon, Normal Type. Tauros are known to be violent and rowdy, and would often live in herds, when challenging one another to a match, Tauros would often clash their horns together to prove their strength." Ash's Rotom Phone detailed out.

Keeping his Rotom Phone back into his pocket, Ash quickly noticed that the two figures were now rushing at his direction with the raging Tauros behind them, as the girl suddenly turned around to notice that Ash was standing in the way of their getaway route.

"Move out of the way!" She yelled out loud, trying to get Ash to move.

All was too late as the girl slammed into Ash causing him to stumble backwards, only for the boy to join in as the force of two people quickly knocked Ash down the hole in the ground, bringing the two who crashed into him along with him, with the Tauros stampede rushing pass the hole as Gallade quickly rushed to the hole, to see his Trainer nowhere in sight.

"REIL!" Gallade roared out, receiving no answers.

"AAAHHH!" An echo of loud screams soon resonated through the deep hole, as Ash along with the other two quickly descended, before crashing onto the ground at the end of the tunnel.

As they crashed onto the hard ground, sounds of groaning can be heard as Ash sat up rubbing his head, as he slowly recovered from the fall he just had, as the other two Trainers followed suit, holding onto their own heads in pain.

"What's the big idea, crashing into me like that!" Ash scolded.

"We're sorry, we didn't think you'd be at the area where we'd be running!" The boy apologised, causing Ash to sigh loudly.

"If I'm right, you two are Gym Challengers aren't you? I remember seeing your pictures in the list of registered Trainers." Ash responded, finding their faces familiar.

As he got a closer inspection, the girl had brown hair, wearing a hot pink dress with a grey sweater over it, as well as a pair of brown boots with green socks and a green hat on her head, with an unusually large brown bag on her back.

Meanwhile the boy next to her looked similar to Leon, the Champion, with his eye and hair coloured the same fashion as the Champion, instead was wearing a dark blue shirt over a jacket of lighter blue with a furry collar, as well as a pair of black long pants and shoes, with a green sling bag around his body.

"That's right, I'm Gloria." The girl greeted, as the boy gave a smile.

"The name's Hop, and I'm going to be the next Champion!" He said with confidence.

"Nice to meet you two, my name is Reil, and I'm a Gym Challenger as well." He greeted.

"Though, we should probably find a way out of here first, shouldn't we?" Hop responded, as the other two looked around to find that they were indeed deep inside some sort of tunnel.

Spreading out to look for an exit, Ash soon walked near to one of the tunnels, although before he could enter said tunnel, Gloria's voice suddenly boomed through the entire tunnel.

"Guys, come over here quickly!" Gloria's voice shouted catching the attention of the two boys.

Ash and Hop quickly ran to Gloria's location, only to see her standing in front of several Poke Balls which presumably belong to each of the three Trainers, having fallen out from their pockets when they fell from the tunnel.

"Did they fall out when we fell?!" Hop screamed, having no idea which one is his Poke Ball.

"Great, now how are we going to figure out which Poke Ball is ours?" Ash added, scratching his head.

While they were thinking on how they were going to figure out which Poke Ball belongs to which Trainer, sounds of rocks slamming into the earth can be heard as they lifted their heads to see several rock-like Pokémon charging at them.

This quickly brought both Gloria and Hop into panic, as Ash could feel some sort of sensation in his head, as he rushed forward to grab hold of a single Poke Ball before enlarging it in his hand, while throwing it out at the incoming Pokémon.

"Metang, Bullet Punch!" He yelled out.

The Poke Ball burst open to reveal the Iron Claw Pokémon, as it quickly charge at the incoming Pokémon, sending each of them flying with a blazing fast punch, as the Pokémon crashed onto the ground, before running away in fear.

"Thanks for the save, Metang." Ash said with gratitude, as Metang nodded.

"We better start searching for our Poke Balls before those Geodude return." Hop told his two new friends.

The three Trainer soon spend the next few minutes searching for each of their own Poke Balls, and as they did so, Ash, Gloria and Hop decided to recall each of their own Pokémon back into their Poke Ball, before keeping them inside of their pockets.

"Say, Reil. How did you even figure out which Poke Ball is yours?" Gloria questioned in curiosity, as Ash started to think.

"I don't really know, I just got this weird sensation telling me which Poke Ball was Metang's." He answered with uncertainty.

"Besides, does anyone know where we are?" Ash questioned, clearly not knowing where this place was.

"I think we're inside of a Pokémon Den." Hop answered.

"You mean those big holes, where Trainers team up to fight Dynamax Pokémon? I read about those online few days ago." Ash's statement made Hop nod his head.

Ash soon let out a sigh, wondering how this two Trainers got him into such a situation, but decided to forget about the earlier incident as Ash turn his head to Hop.

"How do we get out of here exactly, Hop?" He asked, as Gloria too looked at Hop, hoping for an answer.

"From what I learn from Lee, we can only leave once we defeated the Dynamax Pokémon who owns this den." He answered.

"And since we're were attacked by a bunch of Geodude, I can only guess that our opponent is either a Graveler or Golem." Hop added, trying to make a guess about which Dynamax Pokémon they were going to face.

"Well whichever Pokémon it is we are going to face, I'm sure we'll do just fine." Gloria told the two boys, who nodded in agreement.

As they venture deeper into the den they were now stuck in, Ash, Gloria and Hop could feel the air getting heavier and heavier, as a bright glowing light can be seen being emitted from a tunnel further from their location, as the three of them rushed to the location, to see that the entire space before them was just a large battlefield, with large purple clouds surrounding the entire area.

"Is this suppose to be where the Dynamax Pokémon dwells?" Gloria asked, completely shocked at what she was seeing.

Soon enough, sounds of large footsteps can be heard, as the ground shook with each step, with the cloud shifting to the side to reveal a Golem of gigantic size, as the Dynamaxed Megaton Pokémon let out a loud roar, sending a large wave of Dyanamx Energy all across the field, activating their Dynamax Bands in the process of doing so.

"Guess we have no choice but to fight." Ash told his two companions, as Gloria and Hop nodded their heads.

Ash quickly threw out one of his Poke Ball to summon Metang, as Hop threw his own Poke Ball to call out a green monkey-like Pokémon wielding two sticks as a weapon, meanwhile Gloria's Poke Ball burst open to reveal a white rabbit-like Pokémon, the same size as Hop's own Pokémon.

"Thwackey, Razor Leaf!" Hop ordered.

Thwackey immediately slammed its stick onto the ground, before summoning several leaves before launching them at Golem, who easily used its hands to swipe away the attack, immediately rendering the super effective attack useless.

"Metang, Gyro Ball!" Ash commanded.

At Ash's command, Metang's hands soon glowed in a white veil to form a ball, before rushing at Golem with its body spinning in the shape of a ball, as Golem merely used its hand to swipe Metang to the side, causing the Iron Claw Pokémon to hit the floor hard.

"Metang!" Ash called out in concern.

After easily deflecting attacks from both Thwackey and Metang, Golem's started to glow in a brown veil, before stomping on the ground, while sending a powerful shock wave at its enemies, immediately blasting Metang and Thwackey back to their Trainers, as Gloria's Pokémon was able to leap into the air to evade the attack.

"Raboot, Flame Charge!" Gloria commanded.

While Ash and Hop were busy recalling their injured Pokémon, Raboot's body soon got engulfed in flames, as it rushed at the Dynamaxed Golem at max speed, as the Megaton Pokémon simply swung its hand to swipe Raboot from the air, causing it to crash onto the ground in front of its Trainer, getting knocked out in one blow.

"Raboot, no!" Gloria shrieked.

As Gloria quickly kept Raboot back into its Poke Ball, Ash and Hop immediately threw out another one of their Poke Ball, as Ash's Poke Ball burst open to reveal his Corviknight, meanwhile Hop's Poke Ball burst open to reveal a small sheep-like Pokémon.

"Corviknight, its time to get big!" Ash called out as he returned Corviknight back into his Poke Ball.

After doing so, Ash quickly reveal the bottom of his Dynamax Band, as particles of purple light found themselves into Corviknight's Poke Ball, causing it to grow in size, as Ash grabbed hold of it before throwing it into the sky, as it burst open to reveal Corviknight in his Gigantamax Form.

"Corviknight, use Max Steelspike!" Ash ordered.

Obeying Ash's command, Corviknight quickly slammed two of its blade birds into the floor, causing gian metal spikes to erupt from the ground towards Golem, who quickly formed a hexagon shield to defend itself, blocking off Corviknight's Max Move and preventing him from doing any damage to itself.

"Wooloo, use Take Down!" Hop commanded.

"Pidove, use Quick Attack!" Gloria ordered.

Hop's Wooloo immediately charged at Golem with its body glowing in a white veil, as a smaller bird-like Pokémon dashed pass the Dynamax Megaton Pokémon, catching its attention, as Ash noticed the two Trainers nodding their heads at his direction, as he nodded back.

"Corviknight, G-Max Wind Rage!" He yelled out.

Corviknight quickly flapped his wings to create a cyclone around Golem, as the powerful tornado easily blew Wooloo and Pidove away back to their Trainers, as the bird blade around Corviknight quickly went in to assault the Megaton Pokémon, striking the Rock and Ground Type Pokémon any chance they got, as the Dynamax Megaton Pokémon quickly raised its leg before slamming it onto the ground.

After doing so, a giant stone wall quickly rose up from the ground, before toppling over to disperse the tornado surrounding its body, forcing the blade birds to return to Corviknight, as the Gigantamax Raven Pokémon stared at its opponent, with Gloria and Hop recalling their injured Pokémon.

"Make this count, Corviknight, Max Steelspike!" He ordered.

Corviknight quickly slammed two of his bird blades into the ground, as spikes of steel started to make their way to Golem, who in turn raised its hand into the air, as metal spikes emerged from its side of the field, before clashing with Corviknight's Max Steelspike, as both attacks ended with equivalent power, as Corviknight started to glow in a purple veil, before shrinking down to his normal size, ending his Gigantamax.

"Corviknight, Steel Wing!" Ash commanded.

The Raven Pokémon quickly took flight, as his wings started to glow in a white veil before charging towards Golem, who stomp the ground, causing a large crack to appear beneath the Flyjng and Steel Type Pokémon, as a burst of energy soon followed suit, blasting Corviknight out of the air, as he landed near Ash, clearly exhausted after Gigantamaxing.

"Corviknight, return for now." Ash told his Pokémon, while recalling Corviknight back into his Poke Ball.

Keeping his Pokémon's Poke Ball, Ash took out a third Poke Ball before enlarging it in his hand before tossing it out into the battlefield

"Pawniard, go forth!" He yelled.

As Ash's third Poke Ball burst open to reveal his Pawniard, the Sharp Blade Pokémon soon sharpened his blades together, before getting into a battle stance against his obviously oversized opponent, with no other helping hands, as Ash turn his head to both Gloria and Hop.

"You have no other Pokémon avaliable?" He asked, as Hop sighed.

"I have no other Pokémon left, and Gloria's third Pokémon doesn't have much experience in battling." He explained, leaving Ash stunned.

"I guess we're on our own, Pawniard." Ash told the Dark and Steel Type Pokémon.

Pawniard nodded his head, as he stood ready against Golem, as the Megaton Pokémon stomped the ground, causing a powerful shock wave to blast Pawniard back to Ash, with the amnesiac Trainer raised his hand.

"Metal Claw, go!" He ordered.

Pawniard quickly rushed at Golem with his hands glowing in a white veil, as the Sharp Blade Pokémon leaped at the Megaton Pokémon, who simply swung its hand to smack Pawniard off the sky, as the Sharp Blade Pokémon dug his blade into Golem's hand, refusing to let go.

"Now, Fury Cutter!" Ash commanded.

On Ash's command, Pawniard remaining hand glowed in a green veil, as he continously swung it at Golem, doing as much as not a single scratch, as the Megaton Pokémon soon threw Pawniard off its arm, before swinging it, causing the Sharp Blade Pokémon to crash in front of Ash.

"Pawniard, are you alright?!" Ash called out in concern.

As Ash got worried for Pawniard, the Sharp Blade Pokémon soon rose to his feet, before turning around to face Ash who nodded his head, as if understanding what Pawniard wants to do, as he looked at Golem.

"If you want to continue fighting, then I'm with you all the way, Pawniard, and we're a going to win this!" Ash yelled in motivation.

"PAWN!" The Sharp Blade Pokémon screeched out, before glowing in a deep blue veil.

The sight of Pawniard glowing shocked Gloria and Hop, as well as Ash himself, as Pawniard's structure soon got bigger in size, not only did Pawniard grew in size, his head too had something extending out as did his arms.

"SHARP!" The newly evolved Pawniard roared out as the light burst apart.

As the light burst apart to reveal the newly evolved Pawniard, the Sharp Blade Pokémon was now much larger in size, and looked more humanoid, his arms and legs too grew bulkier, with a blade protruding from his head, with curved blades around his body as Ash took out his Rotom Phone to scan his newly evolved Pokémon.

"Bisharp, the Sword Blade Pokémon, Dark and Steel Type. Bisharp is known to take the lead when hunting, and will battle one another to become the leader of their packs, but once the head blade of Bisharp is damaged, it will leave the pack. Bisharp is known to be in disputes with Fraxure." Ash's Rotom Phone detailed out.

Keeping his Rotom Phone, Ash looked at his newly evolved Bisharp, as the Sword Blade Pokémon got into a battle stance, waiting for Ash's command to continue fighting against the Dynamax Golem, as Ash waved his hand to the side.

"Let's try our a few of your new moves, Night Slash!" He yelled out in command.

As the blades on Bisharp's arm turned black and grew out in size, the Dark and Steel Type immediately charged at the Dynamax Golem, before slashing it on the leg, forcing the Megaton Pokémon to go on one knee, as the Rock and Ground Type Pokémon punched the ground, as pillars of rocks started to emerge from the earth towards Bisharp.

"Metal Burst!" Ash commanded.

On Ash's command, Bisharp's turned metallic as he formed a large metal orb in front of himself, as it absorbed Golem's attack, before firing it at the Megaton Pokémon, scoring a direct hit on its face, knocking down the Rock and Ground Type Pokémon, as Ash waved his hand to finish the battle.

"Guillotine!" He commanded.

Bisharp's arm blades immediately grew immense in size, as he charged at the Dynamax Golem, before dashing pass the Megaton Pokémon, slashing the Rock and Ground Type Pokémon in the process, causing Golem to shrink down in size as it lay on the ground, completely out cold from Bisharp's one hit KO move.

As soon as Golem was defeated by Ash's Bisharp, the whole cloudy atmosphere immediately dispersed to reveal another tunnel at the end of the cave, as Ash, Gloria and Hop quickly ran towards the presume exit, in hopes of getting out of the Den they were trapped in.

And as soon as they did, Ash and his small company found themselves coming out what seems to be a cave exit near Motostoke Riverbank, as Gallade quickly appear before Ash, as soon as the amnesiac Trainer appeared from the tunnel.

"Reil, are you alright?" The Blade Pokémon asked anxiously, as Ash nodded his head.

"I'm fine Gallade, thanks to Bisharp here." Ash answered, directing his hand to his newly evolved Pawniard.

Gallade was visibly shock to see that Pawniard had evolved into a Bisharp, as the two Pokémon moved to the side to talk, as Gloria and Hop walked over to Ash before bowing their heads in apology for the earlier incident.

"Again, we're so sorry about what happened earlier!" They said in unison, as Ash chuckled.

"It's fine, after all, we did learn a new experience in that Den earlier. So, let's just call it even." He waved off, as Gloria and Hop sighed in relief.

"Anyways, where are you two headed? Motostoke perhaps?" Ash asked, as they nodded.

"Yeah, we're going to Motostoke for our third badge, and you, Reil?" Gloria answered, as Ash looked at a distance.

"I'm headed for Stow-on-Side to challenge Allister, for my fourth Gym Badge." He answered, as he waved his hand.

"Does that mean you've already beaten Kabu?" Hop asked, as Ash nodded his head in an affirmative gesture.

"That's right, and Mr. Kabu was no easy opponent." He told them, before looking at a distance.

"I'm sure we'll see each other again, and good luck with your battles with Mr. Kabu." Ash added, as both Gloria and Hop nodded in a friendly manner.

"Thanks, and good luck to you down the road, Reil." Gloria responded, as Hop gave a friendly smirk.

"Next time we meet, Reil, I'm asking for a real battle!" He responded in a challenging manner, as Ash chuckled with a smile and nodded.

"I'm looking forward to it, Hop." The amnesiac Trainer accepted in a challenging manner.

After their farewells, Ash decided to recall Bisharp into his Poke Ball as both Gallade and himself continued down the road to Hammerlocke, whist Gloria and Hop continued down the opposite path towards Motostoke to challenge Kabu to a Gym Battle.

As Ash and Gallade goy closer and closer to Hammerlocke's gate, a squad of yellow Pokémon soon ran by them as Ash and Gallade stop to look at the Pokémon's friendly interactions, making Gallade chuckle at how peaceful the Wild Area was.

"The Pikachu here sure seem very happy, don't you think so, Reil?" Gallade asked, as Ash continued to look at them.

Finding it strange to have no answer from his Trainer, Gallade looked towards Ash's location to see that a trail of water was coming down from his right eye down his cheek, as the Blade Pokémon stood up to look at his Trainer.

"Are you crying, Reil?" He asked, as Ash wiped the single tear from his eye.

"I don't know why I'm crying, Gallade, watching these Pikachu just somehow make me feel sad." He answered, unsure of why he was even crying just by watching them interact.

"Anyways, let us be on our way to Hammerlocke, we wouldn't want the Inn to close on use before we even get a room." Ash quickly changed the topic, as Gallade nodded.

The pair soon made their way pass the squad of Pikachu, as they ran their way towards Hammerlocke's gate, hoping to get inside and book a room at a Inn before it was either fully booked.

Another chapter, another day! Hope you guys are still enjoying this chapters, and I also appreciate your support on this story!

A/N: I get the time laps between each chapters are getting lengthier and lengthier, and I truly am sorry for the huge lengthy gap between chapters.

A/N: I do understand that Guillotine has no effect on a Dynamax Pokémon in the games, but I truly wanted to change things up in this story, to make it seem more realistic.

Otherwise,

PEACE!
