Yes I know I haven't uploaded for a while, for some reason Microsoft Office stopped working and I had work and blah blah blah. Anyway, before I get the story started, I'm just going to give you some information that might come in handy in the future. So I've had a question regarding the timetable, no this isn't the legitimate timetable that they actually had in OOTP, but this is the official timetable that I have made up for Hannah in this story.

And in case you have forgotten over the course of this story, I'll give more detail about the characteristics and knowledge of Hannah.
Hannah Byron
Mother: Susanna Leems (Imprisoned)
Father: Brian Leems (Deceased)
Height: 162cm
Hair Colour: Light blonde
Age: 17
Birthday: 26 April
Year Level: 7
Middle Name: N/A
Background info: Hannah has been homeless since she was 7, she has lived off of her skill of potion making, and making (muggle) money off her ability to draw. From being isolated from having friends or family, she has become entirely introverted, therefore has adopted the ability to read minds (legilimency). Hannah's parents were both abusive, verbally and physically.
Characters referred to so far in the story which ARE NOT a part of the Harry Potter universe:
Hannah Byron
Susanna Leems
Brian Leems
Dani Ingram - Hufflepuff, 7th year
Spero - Hannah's cat
Ligo - Adrian's cat
Everybody else mentioned (so far) is entirely based off of original character's JK Rowling has created.
Any further questions, please ask and I'll add the answer to the A/N of this chapter.
Hannah awoke to Spero licking her face, and a searing pain in her hand. She looked over to see a large portion of her sheets covered with blood from her cut hand. Cursing under her breath, she wrapped her hand in a cloth which she conjured (learnt from the lesson with Dani), and dressed into her under school robes.
Snape sat at his desk, with parchment spread upon as always, awaiting Hannah's departure from her room. Once the door opened to the sight of the clearly-malnourished girl with her hand wrapped up in a bloody cloth, Snape rustled through his desk drawers to get the necessary potions. He wordlessly gestured Hannah to a seat on the opposite side of his desk, removed the cloth from Hannah's cut, and then applied several solutions to the wound. "You bleed in unnatural quantities, Miss Byron." He drawled, with the thought of the guilty DADA professor on his mind.
"Thin blood, sir." Hannah replied.
"Vegetarian then, I take it?" Snape questioned, with the knowledge of how blood thickness is affected by iron levels. Hannah nodded in response. "Very well." Snape pointed his wand at a potion cabinet, sending a vial flying in his hand. "Take this twice daily." Snape demanded, holding the iron potion toward Hannah. Hannah reluctantly pocketed the potion, nodding her thanks to the Professor. Hannah's eyes rested on the parchment which spread across Snape's desk. Most were titled with names of student's, but a few titled with undecipherable acronyms, the closest which Hannah could read with her eyesight, spelling 'OOTP WP'.
That day, Hannah had DADA first. She sat next to Adrian, as always, with the Weasley twins insisting on sitting either side of them. "Hey, Hannah, we were thinking you could give us a hand with a few things." Fred started,
"Regarding getting the old bat out of this place." George added.
"We were thinking about spiking her drink with something." Fred continued,
"And we were wondering what ideas you had." George finished. Hannah watched for the toad-like professor, who was distracted by her cup of tea. She watched Adrian as his attention flickered from his book, to the professor, to Hannah.
"I've got a reasonably entertaining idea…" Hannah started, before finishing her explanation.
That night before her detention, Hannah sat in the library next to the Weasley twins, studying potions ingredients and their effects. "Hannah, I still can't get over how you willingly stole from Professor Snape, being a Slytherin."
"Yeah, we thought most Slytherin would bow down and suck his d…" Fred rambled before Hannah cut the twins off.
"Most Slytherins don't despise Umbridge."
"I honestly don't understand why, she is a right cow." Fred argued.
"She's a Slytherin, who willingly picks on Gryffindors, and sticks closely to blood purity. Not even Snape sticks that closely to the stereotypical Slytherin traits." Hannah reasoned.
"But still, it doesn't mean that we love Mcgonagall just because she's a Gryffindor." George continued complaining.
"Yes, but being a Slytherin, you're literally surrounded by people who refuse to accept you all because of which category you're in. Gryffindor's are accepted by everyone else, even before anyone actually knows you. It's like you're just tossed to the side automatically when you're dressed in green. That's why they hold hope onto everybody sided with them. Their pride is only faltered when they take direct insults, that's what it takes for them to disown their own kind." Hannah finished lecturing, with multiple thoughts on their mind.
"To be entirely honest, I never really looked at it like that, although that gives me an idea." The twins' faces brightened with insight simultaneously.
"If we can get Umbridge to directly insult Slytherin's, then we can get them to side with us." George added on to Fred.
"Well, I wouldn't bet on them siding with you, but I'm sure that'd get them to despise Umbridge." Reasoned Hannah. They continued their research for a good hour, before Hannah left the two for their brewing, as she made her way to another detention with Umbridge.
The following day started off with the same routine of Snape scowling at Hannah's bloodied wounds, which was closely followed by her first lesson of the day, Transfiguration. The lessons were getting slightly more enjoyable as she sat between Dani and Adrian throughout each lesson. The lessons consisted of more and more talking on her behalf with heavy encouragement from her sisterly sidekick, Dani. Although Hannah still refrained from smiling and showing any emotion, she had stepped out of her comfort zone quite a bit with socializing. She didn't talk to anyone who she didn't need to talk to, but her conversations with the Weasley twins, Adrian, and Dani, were sprouting with time.
That evening, before dinner in the great hall, Fred and George approached Hannah, with grins spread across their faces. Fred started talking first. "The potion is ready, and our friend Harry Potter has been generous enough to lend us his invisibility cloak for the night."
"He honestly owed us one anyway." George added.
"Anyway, so I'll be the one to sneak the potion into the old bat's tea, meanwhile, George will distract the teachers, and you will just act like you have no clue what's going on, alright?" Fred looked overly proud of himself as he unveiled the plan. Hannah nodded in response. Fred then covered himself with the invisibility cloak, disappearing from view, as George walked into the Great Hall, twirling his wand between his fingers. Hannah waited several minutes before entering herself.
George sat on top of the Slytherin table, his robes obviously transfigured green, as he started teasing a bunch of 3rd year Slytherins. Hannah could see the scowl on Snape's face as he eyed George dangerously, obviously unaware of Fred slipping adjacent to him as he slipped the potion into Umbridge's cup. Fred came walking into the Great Hall again, this time with the cloak off, to throw off the fact that he'd already been present in the hall. George transfigured his robes back to join his twin, as if nothing suspicious had taken place in the past few minutes.
Umbridge lifted the teacup to her mouth, taking a sizeable sip. Her face changed expression quickly, her eyes darting directly to the Slytherin table.
Thanks for reading, sorry that it's short, but I'm having a bit of trouble with ideas. I know where I'm going, I just don't know how to get there, you know what I mean? No? Okay. Anyway, if you could review that'd be great. If you want your own character in the story, just leave a review with the name of the character, short physical description, year, and house. Thanks again.
