Hey guys RGQC back and holy crap where did you guys come from?! I expected at least 10 to 40 ish followers but now we are about 139 Followers and 108 Favourites in just a few days! You guys must have really wanted to see more of this story, eh? Well then, you all are getting one!

But first, questions to answer before we continue Mordred's initial journey into Remnant.

Guest 1: Yea I get it; it is a bit short but it's more of a testing run to see how it goes. And as we all saw, this story exploded in terms of popularity. So, expect future chapters to be much longer compared to the first one. Related to your question, Mordred would work with team RWBY eventually. But she for now would do things her way, even if it means that she would have to fight team RWBY and friends for the relics, she will.

Ptl: What happened to his family jewels? Gone, reduced to atoms. As for whether SI Mordred is a servant instead of the living one, well… I won't spoil it though.

Edboy4926: You are right to a certain extent, SI Mordred would have terminated them on the spot but as of yet, Mordred is still confused at what is going on and is unsure of where she is in the timeline, should she kill off Raven or Vernal too early, it could have some consequences in the timeline and she knows it.

Coolfire364: Well… not really, I took it from a trope page called Stripperific. (Beware, TV tropes is addicting.)

DavianThule19: How would SI Mordred deal with daddy issues? Well… not well let's just say. Though Mordred would be more composed and less likely to go into a fit of rage. Somewhat. Maybe. Still get angry, I guess.

Bartek5552: Mmm… Perhaps still unsure where in the timeline to chuck SI Mordred.

SkyChaser17: Wow this is a long one. Ok, you brought up some good points and you gave me some time to think on your suggestions. Thanks, by the way. It was honestly helpful.

Ian Matteo Santos: Yes.

Alexander of the imperial Fist: First of all, thanks for your advice! It was actually a joy to read on how to improve my story! Next related to Mordred's uh, robotic sentence. I admit, it could use some work. I'll try to make it much better in the future. Hopefully.

As for the rest of you who enjoyed my content and wish for me to continue, well, here it is and enjoy to your heart's content!

Chapter 2

The Knight and the Bandit

After that mess of Raven's bandits, the journey was relatively calm. Well relatively, mentally however was a different story. In short, I was a mess inside. First waking up as a fictional character with all her powers and somehow chucked into another fictional world. If this isn't some kind of cosmic joke, I don't know what is then. But that's only the tip of the spear of how I felt.

So many emotions were coursing through me as I walked through the forest in only Mordred's skimpy outfit with a cloak hiding all of it from everyone. The sooner I get to Mistral, the sooner I can get some proper clothes for myself. Though I am still confused.

The words I heard before it took me here…

Save Humanity?

Admittingly, it irritates me that it did not give me more info on what to save humanity from. One guess is Salem but I doubt that she is the reason why I am here… I need the Relic of Knowledge to ask Jinn.

My purpose is to save humanity from what?

Of course, doing that would put a target on my back no doubt from both Salem and Ozpin's side. Both would no doubt hunt for me if I were to swoop in and take it from either of them. I'm a wildcard but I'm thinking of it too early. I got myself to worry about…

And Mordred's body.

It feels like the more I spend in it, the more I feel like I am losing myself. I am aware that I am slowly being replaced, Mordred's hot headedness and the way I reacted earlier against Raven's bandits told me everything that I need to know. The only thing that stopped this body from killing them on the spot was my own conscience when I unconsciously charged at Vernal when she called me a brat but at the last second.

I stopped myself from lobbing her head off her shoulders.

Mordred's body is exerting influence over me and I don't know how long I have till that influence takes over me and I lose myself. But there are already symptoms of it less than a few hours ago. And...

I want to go home…

I don't want to just forget my family. My parents and siblings. I have no doubt that they were worried about my disappearance. I wish this was all a fever dream yet… Everything that has happened so far says otherwise. The weight of Mordred's armour and Clarent, her sword. They're feel exactly how it should have felt. The trees and rivers are… alive. And those bandits and Grimm, while they appear as fiction back home, here?

They are real.

And it does not help that this entire situation is adding a whole bunch of stress on my back, and how I normally react to stress is by getting irritated easily and prone to anger. Now adding Mordred's hot headedness and rashness and I'll probably beat the crap out of anyone who dares to disturb me when I'm stressed out.

Ok enough of that right now, I don't need a mental crisis right now, all I need to do is to…

"Is that a motorcycle of sorts?" I said with surprise as there was a motorbike in front of me that looked pretty new and is still intact. Why was it there to begin with? I mean I should not complain about it but, why was it there in the middle of a forest?

As I walked towards it and got a closer look at it. It is obvious that it had been left there by someone, yet it looked brand new with it painted black with neon red lines all over it. That person has a good sense of taste and then I noticed something about it.

Huh. They even left the keys here.

"Idiot." I spoke my thoughts out loud. Like who would be dumb to leave such a good bike here?

While I was staring at the motorcycle with my hand on my chin thinking as to why this brand-new bike is chilling here, I was not aware of a raven that had perched upon a tree while staring right at me with its red beady eyes. You can thank my lack of instincts as of yet.

Hours back...

Raven's POV

When Raven sent out Vernal with a party to ambush a huntsman that was said to carry a package from what she had heard, what she did not expect was for Vernal to return back to report about their failure to retrieve the package. Even more interesting was that Vernal reported that said individual was not a huntsman that they ambushed but from what she could guess was some young teen underneath the cloak that she was wearing.

Though she couldn't get a good look at her outfit underneath her cloak, she does know that the kid had blond hair and green eyes and wore red mainly underneath the cloak.

What's more interesting was that said kid or brat as Vernal would call her, had a unique semblance. Even more intriguing was that the kid with her semblance, single handedly destroyed all of their weapons except Vernal's personal weapon before reappearing a distance away from them. Vernal could only conclude that the brat they ambushed had an enhancing semblance of sorts and is a dangerous opponent from the look of her murderous eyes at the end before she was forced to flee. (Oh, how right she was.)

Raven was to say the least intrigue. Such an asset would benefit her and her tribe if what Vernal says is true.

"I see… I shall see this girl, myself." Raven spoke but surprisingly, Vernal protested about it.

"Raven, I have to disagree on that. Those eyes of hers told me everything, she was holding back against us. If you do decide to engage her, I advise caution."

"Is that so? But you cannot deny that she is strong from what you said yourself. If she does join us, she would help ensure that our tribe will survive. If she does not? I'll kill her myself. And Vernal, thank you for your concern." Raven then spoke after taking in her loyal subordinates' concern.

"If you say so Raven." Vernal bowed as Raven stood up and left the tent to get herself a potential new member to be added into her tribe.

Back to the present...

When Raven flew through the air as a bird, she then spotted the cloaked figure walking through the forest while paying no attention to anything as if she was thinking about something. Whatever it was, Raven couldn't care less about what she was thinking about. All she cared about was how dangerous this girl really was and whether she could recruit her.

Yet she couldn't just rush in to convince her to join her bandit group yet, she needed more information about her and so she watched her from the trees and away from sight. And she continued to observe the blonde girl continue to walk through the forest before she encountered a brand-new motorbike in the middle of the forest.

Admittingly, this also confused Raven as to why there is a motorcycle in the forest but as she continues her observation of the mysterious girl as she mutters to herself about something before the ground starts to shake as the girl pulls out a sword that she had been keeping with her and pointed directly at the bush.

At her angle, Raven had a good look at the girl's face and she had to admit, she looked pretty young for someone to be able to make Vernal retreat with her party. What came out of the bushes and trees were several Ursa and Beowolfs that were traveling in packs before roaring at the girl and charging straight for her.

"Good, I needed something to keep my mind away from something. And you all are my stress ball." The girl then spoke in a manner that made Raven think that she had her head full of pride.

Raven then saw a smirk on their girl's face as her eyes lit up with the joy of battle as she dashed towards the Ursa while red electricity could be seen on her body. Raven's bird eyes widened as she could only watch as the girl sent a slash that cleaved through multiple Ursas at once.

The girl then used the Ursa's body as a jump ramp before doing a plunging attack onto another Ursa before jumping off it and sending a punch directly to its face. Said punch was so strong that it caused the head of the Ursa to turn into gibs as she could be seen grabbing her sword and began dodging and slicing all of them into bits all while retaining her joyful expression during the fight.

Raven observed the girl's fighting style and could only come up with a conclusion.

She does not fight like how normal people would usually fight but instead she fights like a beast or a berserker. It actually disturbs Raven slightly at how such a person could exist. And that person she is trying to recruit is rather excited at the prospects of fighting.

As Raven turned back to watch that girl fight, one of the Beowolfs managed to grab the girl's cloak from behind and ripped part of it out much to her surprise.

"Huh?! Hey! I still needed that! You bastard!" The girl yelled as she slashed the offending Beowolf in half before jumping a distance away and took off her cloak and dropped it on the floor much to Raven's surprise at her outfit she was wearing.

She wore what is basically a red skirt with several waist ornaments attached to it, an ornate strip of cloth over her chest which showed off her midriff, some sleeves and leglets to cover her arms and legs. She also wore some sort of neck band as well as stockings and low-heel red boots. Raven can't help but question why she would be in such outfits in the first place but it does explain why she is wearing a cloak to begin with.

The girl however, does not seem bothered by her rather exposed outfit as she let out a bellowing yell as she charged at the remaining Ursas and Beowolfs as the same red electricity coursed through her body. She then seemingly teleports in front of one of the Ursas and sliced through it before disappearing and reappearing to knee another Beowolf in the face.

Mordred's POV

To say that I was pissed off was an understatement in the slightest as I butcher the remaining Grimm after one dared to rip my cloak. Normally I wouldn't have gotten this pissed off, but I was already stressed out and irritated at my situation and I supposed having my cloak thorn pushed me over the edge.

I probably had damaged the sword slightly as I swear, I saw the tip of it chipped off when I stabbed it through a Ursa's skull plate, but I was too enraged to care as I finished off the last Grimm in the vicinity by slicing off its head.

It was then I realized that I know how to swing a sword, dodge, parry and deflect. Am I also getting Mordred's swordsmanship skills? Or...

No matter, I should probably wear back my cloak and get-

Wait…

Someone else is here…

I then turn to face towards the sound as a figure I recognize with her signature mask emerged from behind the tree.

"Raven…" I quietly growled to myself as the leader of the Branwen Tribe who decided to pay a visit to me.

Why is she here?! Was it because Vernal tipped her off? Oh… Of course she did! And makes sense that coward who abandoned her own family would be here because Vernal ran off with her merry band of bandits that deserve to be crushed and I should have killed them on the spot when I had the chance!

I then realized that I was losing control of myself as my arms were trembling in rage at the cow- no, woman who stood in front of me with her own mask.

"No… control yourself, I can't act irrationally when fighting against Raven who is skilled and is also a Spring Maiden." I then forced myself to calm down as I closed my eyes, but why did I explode like that? There was no reason for me to be so furious at Raven. I dislike her but… was it necessary to rage about her?

Mordred's influence grows by the hour it seems…

I then opened my eyes to stare at the long-haired pale woman with a Grimm mask walking towards me as I thought of how to deal with her. Raven cares a whole lot about her tribe so defeating Vernal or more accurately, making her run away, I suppose that would definitely tick her off.

Is fighting her worth it? I honestly don't know, but from what I know, Raven seeks out the strongest to integrate within her tribe but the truth is that she is lying to herself and that she is nothing but a coward.

Huh? Again with the coward. Must be Mordred speaking again.

"I must say, that was one show you made. Let's get introductions out of the way first. What's your name?" Raven asked my name of all things.

If I'm not wrong, all RWBY character names are related to colours or something like that. I mean both Raven and Qrow's names are related to birds! So, I could use Mordred's name. It would be convenient for me but it would reveal who I am too early for my liking. I went silent for a moment to think of a solution as I swore I saw Raven losing her patience at me remaining silent.

"Just call me Saber." I'd made my decision to not reveal my true name. Bandits like her do not deserve to know it. And never will I tell her.

"Saber huh? That's a… interesting name." Raven pondered. Why do I feel insulted at the way Raven said my name?

"Raven Branwen." She paused before I interrupted her before she could say what she wanted to say. Can I go already? I don't want to stay in this place for too long and I ain't got all day.

"You are obviously here to offer me a deal so let's cut the chase, shall we?" I said as I folded my arms. There is no doubt that Raven does want to recruit me and if I refuse? She would possibly seek to eliminate me because I could pose a threat to her tribe.

But…

How long was she there? Hiding among the trees, watching me butcher those Grimm like animals?

"You catch fast," The way she said it, I swear she probably had a smug expression on her face. "I was made aware of the fact that you chased off my men's ambush and even made, my best I am sure you know her as Vernal retreat."

"They were annoying me at best." I nodded with annoyance on my face as I stared at her mask.

"The fact that you held them and chased them off by yourself. And as much as I don't want to admit, it certainly worries me." I grunted as I continued to stare at her. "The fact you fend off my men while humiliating them in the process irritates me. So, I'll give you an offer to join my tribe, and I will make you-" Ok I had enough of Raven's monologue we are not doing the 'Oh lemmi recruit you to join me or die shit'. I am having none of her shit!

"Yea no." I flatly declined as Raven actually flinched from my blunt response.

"I don't need your help to get stronger or shit like that. Nor will I become a bandit even if you gave me a choice."

"I see…" Raven muttered as my eyes narrowed down upon her. I know Raven would try to kill me since I refused her offer to join her poor excuse of 'ohh I can make you the strongest.' BULLSHIT! But like hell I am dying now, that would be embarrassing for me. Nor will I retreat when I can beat her.

I pulled out my sword and stared at her as I got into my stance. Even if Raven used her maiden powers to try and kill me, my B rank magic defense would counter her attacks so I probably won't have to worry much. What I am more concerned about is her skill with the sword since I only started using a sword recently, though Mordred's swordsmanship might help me here.

Raven then got into her stance as I stared at her while also tightening my grip on my sword as my eyes narrowed down upon her as if I'm judging her. Though I doubt it would be effective since I am almost naked in a fight. And I don't look that intimidating compared to her and the Grimm mask she wore.

"Tch! If you're going to just stand there, I'll attack first!" I yelled as I charged straight at Raven while activating a bit of my mana burst. Though I am concerned at how much mana I am using recently, would I run out of mana and dissipate? Or would I just collapse and pass out due to exhaustion. I'll worry about that later, time to kick Raven's ass! Oh, this is going to be cathartic against her for being a terrible mom she is.

Right… Arthur was not a good parent to Mordred and neither is Morgan for using her to kill Arthur.

Raven then pulled her personal sword out and clashed with my own sword (not Clarent) as it glowed red.

Clang!

Ok that means that Raven is using fire against me with that, I quickly grabbed my blade and pushed down before sending a punch straight for her face but she saw it coming and dodged back to avoid it as I pursued her to keep up the pressure. Though I still wonder if I should pull out my armour and Clarent and go all in.

Na that would be too boring and anti-climactic if I were to just curb stomp her on the spot. Raven then counterattacked me as she swung her sword against me as I dodged to the side before clashing our blades again.

Crash!

"Not bad woman who had a bird for a name, but you got to do better than that!" I taunted her as I used my body weight to push and made Raven stagger back as I then grabbed her hand and pulled her closer for an elbow strike against her face. Though Raven quickly recovered and sent attacks her sword glowed blue which signified that she's using ice dust on me now.

I could only dodge aside while parrying Raven's attacks as ice began to coat my sword and sections of the forest were covered in ice. Even though her attacks came out faster and harder to a normal person, to me it didn't do much due to my enhanced perception.

Swish! Clang! Bzzt! Bang!

Mine and Raven's blades clashed as we continued to move through the forest trying our best to gain the advantage. Funnily enough, my much smaller frame is giving me an advantage as I could just crouch to avoid some of Raven's attacks before I send a counter attack back at her. Though Raven's Sword? No wait, it's a Ōdachi that has a longer reach but it is not useful when your opponent is up in your face.

Yet Raven is smart. Her stance alone leaves her with few openings and she tries to keep her distance to use it to her advantage.

Fine then, I'll make my own advantage then!

"Get over here!" I yelled out as I dodged on of Raven's strikes before spinning around her before grabbing her hair and pulling her to the ground as she let out a surprised yelp before I ripped off her mask and stomp on her face as I jumped back to avoid Raven who swung her sword at me as she got up. And man, she is pissed.

"Aww… is that all you had? Weak!" I can't help but taunt her again. I swear Raven was growling at me. Ok at this point I am pretty sure Mordred is in control this time because I never get this excited or openly taunt my opponents.

Clank! Slink! Tung! Bzzt! Bang! Clang!

Though both Raven and I were at an impasse as we kept on clashing our blades against one another, I soon realised that if this continued, the sword I'm using would shatter from the strain of the fight and if I remember, Raven has different types of dust enhanced blades in her sheath. Sooner than later, I would have to pull out Clarent if this continues.

Clang! Bzzt! Bang!

As the fight progressed onwards, I managed to send a kick that landed on Raven's sword before I did something she did not expect. I then proceeded to use her sword as a jump ramp to send me higher into the air before I threw my sword directly at Raven, which to my amusement, looked absolutely stunned before she had to dash aside to avoid my sword which then stabbed onto the ground.

I then landed next to my sword as I picked it up and resumed clashing against Raven who is obviously tired of my resistance but I would not stop my assault. Why should I?

Clang! Bzzt! Bang! Shank! Chung! Tink! Clank! Slink! Tung! Bzzt! Bang! Clang!

Both me and Raven exchanged dozens of intensive blows with one another with me overwhelming her with pure strength alone within a couple of seconds. But it becomes rather clear to both of us that I had the edge in this fight just due to my strength alone.

Raven knew that clearly and had adjusted her fighting style to avoid most of my attacks, since blocking my strikes directly would make her lose balance and stumble. And thus, she took up upon a more evasive fighting style, avoiding direct clashes while going for more dodge attacks against me.

Swish!

Though it appears during our constant clashes, Raven managed to sneak a slash through my defences and it slashed my left cheek. It hurts like hell as Raven was using her fire dust sword. I can't help but cry out in pain much to Raven's initial surprise that I lack aura but this allows me to regain the advantage as I send a punch to Raven's face which causes her to slam against a tree while her aura flares up. But now she has a rather large bruise on her face thanks to my punch.

"Lucky bitch..." I groaned as I wiped my cheek while both of us were exhausted. Doesn't help that I was not using my armour or Clarent and the fact I was using brute force to overwhelm her. I still don't know where I was in the timeline so all I could do was to hopefully drive her off my back. Though I am not lowering my guard yet.

"You have no aura…" Raven said with shock on her face as she got back onto her feet.

"Yea, what about it?" I could only ask back with exhaustion in my voice.

I feel drained… That is not good…

Oh right...

Mordred overall consumes an incredible amount of Magical Energy in exchange for incomparable strength. And I have no master to supply me magic.

Fuck.

"Yet you are able to keep up with me for one so young. Very few people could." Did Raven just compliment me? I nodded slightly as I looked at my own sword that looks worse for wear, yet it still can fight.

And so can I.

I think.

"Hmp. You are strong. I respect that." Raven said as she sheaths her sword back while I continue to not let my guard down despite the rather large gash on my arm.

"Yea I get that a lot." I grinned despite the exhaustion and pain. And where is the part where she goes 'shame that you won't join us nonsense.'

"Do not think this is over, I have other things to attend to but will see each other again in the future." Wait! She's leaving?! Hold up! Why leave me now?! Shouldn't she finish me off or something? Or did I manage to scare her off?

"Guess you don't have the stomach to fight against me huh? Bloody coward." I called her out as Raven actually flinched for a second as she picked up and wore her mask that was on the floor before taking out her sword and sliced the air as a swirling black and red energy portal appeared at where she sliced.

"Fine! Leave. But the next time we meet, there's no running! Got it?" I yelled out as Raven stared at me before walking through her portal without saying goodbye.

Fine be that way.

But I'm glad that she is gone. I had enough fighting for one day alone and I don't think I can keep it going at the rate I'm using my magical supply. And man was I tensed as hell but hey, I'm glad I survived through this mess.

Still, I should get back onto that motorcycle left there. I then turned my attention to the coat that was on the floor before picking it up and wearing it. "Should have seen that coming." I thought to myself as I observed the cloak as a chunk of it was ripped off. Oh, and that slash on my cheek that had blood leaking out of it, right it should heal itself naturally by the time I reach Mistral. I hope.

I then glanced at the motorcycle that was still somehow free of damage despite the fact that the surrounding area around me had ice covering it or had small dirt craters when Raven and I were fighting each other. Yet… There's a sticky note on the seat of the motorcycle. That wasn't there before, where did it come from?

I then walked towards it and picked it up yet it was obvious that someone had written it and left it there while I was distracted with Grimm and Raven.

"Hello Mordred, if you are reading this, this motorcycle is your personal ride for you to keep it for yourself. As for why you are here? Well as I am sure you heard, you are here to help save humanity, how? Good question but I'm not going to spoil it. That's for you to find out. Anyways another thing is your family. You won't have to worry about them as of yet. But don't worry, we shall speak again soon. Face to face once I feel that you have progressed much. Sincerely Z."

Z? Please don't tell me who I think this is.

...

Of course it would be him.

"DAMN YOU ZELRETCH, YOU BLOODY VAMPIRE!" I screamed out loud that caused the birds to scatter within the forest. I then lay one of my hands on my face as I desperately tried to calm myself down as I gritted my teeth with seething rage.

I swear, that vampire's entire existence is just to be a troll. But brings up more questions, why me then? Well, at least that explains how I ended up on Remnant, but it does not explain why he chose to put me into Mordred. That question was in my head as I opened my eyes again with a frown on my face as I stared directly at the motorcycle.

Well, that explains part of my existence here but I should get going. No sense in wasting time when I could tell that it is now evening and soon to be dusk soon and I don't wish to stay in this forest when it gets dark.

Though… I'd always wanted to ride on a motorcycle when I get older but I won't have to worry about not knowing how to ride it thanks to my B rank riding skill. So that's a big plus.

I can't help but smile like a child that had gotten the birthday present they always wanted except it is now a young teen acting all giddy over a motorbike. I got onto the seat and adjusted myself comfortably before grabbing the handle and going full throttle without hesitation as I let myself smile with excitement at the prospect of riding a bike and hopefully, reaching civilization before dark.

"YEAAAAHHHH! THIS IS AWESOME!" I yell out as I swerve through the forest at speeds that should not be safe in a forest.

Man, I am acting like a kid. Oh wait.

Raven's POV

When Raven returned back to her camp thanks to her connection to Vernal via Kindered Link, everyone in the camp could see the state Raven was in. She had dust, dirt and sweat all over her body as parts of her clothing could be seen damaged or sliced off by someone. Then there were also bruises that could be seen on her legs and probably more underneath her clothing as well.

"Raven what happened there? Is that brat dead since she is not with you?" Vernal then asks her superior. However, Raven seemed to ignore her and walked back into her tent.

"Vernal, follow me." Raven said as Vernal nodded and followed her leader into her personal tent.

As both women entered the tent and sat down, Raven then removed her mask revealing a rather large bruise on her right cheek as Vernal flinched at it. Raven then closed her eyes as she pinched her nose in frustration and confusion at what she saw.

"Raven?" Vernal called her with concern in her voice.

"That girl is not normal." Raven muttered.

"You mean that brat? What makes her not normal?" Vernal then asks.

"She calls herself Saber, though I doubt that's her true name. She does not have an aura to begin with."

"What? That does not make any sense. Then how does that explain her abilities?"

"She appears to also have inhuman reactions and she reads through most of my attacks that people normally don't have time to react to." Raven continues to explain as Vernal kept quiet and listened to everything Raven had to say.

"And yet she possesses something similar and familiar to me when she uses her ability." Raven spoke with confidence as she opened her eyes and looked directly into Vernal's eyes.

"Magic." Raven stated firmly as Vernal's eyes widen.

Mordred's POV

It did not take long for me to reach Mistral with its lush green mountains, buildings that reminded me of Asian temples back at home and had simple to elaborate designs as well as Haven Academy sitting right on the top of the twin cliff peaks. Watching all over Mistral. It's way more beautiful seeing this place here…

All seriousness though, building an academy just on top of two cliff peaks sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, if they were to ask me.

Oh, and the slash that Raven landed on me has fully healed by the time I arrived which is good. I don't wish to get the guards attention on me as to why I was bleeding in the face.

I could only stare in awe as people could be seen walking through the streets and this was the first time I saw a Faunus in person. They actually don't look too bad, in fact, I think some of them look cute with their animal ears and tails.

Especially those with cat ears.

Wait what? What did I just think of?

Never mind that, the first thing I should do is to get some proper clothing. Like hell I'm going out in just skimpy clothing that Mordred got for herself. And so, I drove down the streets of Mistral looking for an apparel shop as onlookers could only wonder who was that person in a cloak on a motorbike.

It didn't take long to find one as I parked my bike outside the shop and walked in to see a rabbit Faunus managing it while the entire shop was filled with untouched clothing.

"Ah! A customer at last! Finally! Uh," The rabbit Faunus coughed into her hand. "Hello my name is Sunny and how can I help you?"

"Ah, I can handle myself, thanks anyways." I waved her off as I gaze on her rabbit ears before turning my attention to such a wide variety of clothing available. Then I realized something.

I have to get bras and panties for myself, right? I am not good at this woman thing…

"You sound pretty excited about me entering your shop. Why?" I asked the cashier who started to look nervous.

"Well… I just opened this shop about a week ago and no one came. In fact, you're the first customer I had." she explained as I nodded in confirmation.

Ah right, Faunus discrimination. A shame though.

"I see… Well, I am glad that I am your first customer then." I smiled at the cashier who looked really thankful to me.

"Well thank you! Also why are you wearing a cloak?" She asked with curiosity in her tone as my face blushed in embarrassment.

"Well… I don't have proper… clothing…" I said as I pushed my cloak aside to reveal my outfit as her eyes widened.

"I've never seen such designs before! The red and gold goes well together and overall, it looks custom made for you! And wow… you're quite muscular despite your thin frame. Though… I have to agree with you, it does not look appropriate to wear outside. Especially that cloth over your breast." Sunny observed as I let the cloak down again

"Uh huh. I'll come back to you when I get something I like." I nodded at her as I turned around and continued to observe all the clothes for me to choose.

I expected shopping for clothes to be a fast process. Turns out for women, that wasn't the case. Instead of spending a couple of minutes choosing what I want to buy and leaving, I spent at least an hour constantly trying new outfits to my or more specifically, Mordred's liking.

To be fair, I was spending most of that time trying to get used to the gaining and losing of my 'assets' and trying to figure out how to wear women's clothing without looking like an idiot.

I ended up getting what Mordred wore during Apocrypha because I had no idea what to wear myself and I got sick of constantly changing. As a result, I bought and wore a tube top that exposes my abdomen and a crimson leather jacket. I also got myself jeans shorts to go alongside it.

Funnily enough, Sunny's shop also sells shoes in another compartment, though it was mainly boots which I don't mind. And so, I also got myself black boots to complete the feel.

And I also got some undergarments, a shirt and shorts just in case for myself. Huh, now that I think about it, I should get myself a bag to carry it all.

"That looks good on you!" Sunny said as I can't help but smile at her. Though I didn't notice it, Sunny could see my fang which caused her to blush much to my confusion.

"Uh, why are you blushing?" I asked as Sunny's blush deepened.

"Oh sorry, I just find you cute."

"C-c-c-c-c-Cute?!" I lost my composure as I could feel the heat on my face grow by the second as I looked away. Apparently, that did nothing as I could hear her cooing at me about how adorable I reacted.

Can I just pay for my clothes please?" I said while not looking at her directly due to my embarrassment of being called cute.

"Right! Let me help you with that."

It took a while but I finally left that shop with what I needed and I started to feel rather sleepy. Which is strange, so does that mean I am not purely a spirit but a mortal body? Well if so, I hope this body is a human and not a homunculus or that bloody vampire going to get it the next time I see him.

But first some food and I found this rather nice ramen store not too far from my current location. I uh, ate 3 large bowls. Much to pretty much everyone's surprise at the amount I ate despite my small frame over there. Well, it was really tasty and helped me temporarily forget the shit I went through in one day alone.

I guess Saber's love of food also passes down to me. Not that I mind at all because hey, food is food and it helps me regain some magical energy by converting food into it. But I suppose that I can't go all out lest I use up all my magical energy in one battle since I have no master to supply me. Or is Remnant supplying me but slower?

Nevertheless, I paid off my food and went on my way to a hotel to stay, which was done rather quickly and I was taken to my new room by a bellman.

Though…

Where I was staying is rather close to where RNJR, Oscar and Qrow stayed when they were in Mistral but it should be fine as long as I don't come into direct contact with them should this be post-fall. Speaking of which, I should really find out where I am in the timeline.

Though it is rather obscured and small due to me being the only occupant, it has a bed, kitchen, hall, and toilet, just the basic needs of a home. Now that I think about it, I don't really need to use the toilet at all except maybe to take a shower or something like that.

"Mm… Bed comfy." I muttered as I laid on the bed and began to fall asleep.

But I won't be having a good sleep tonight, oh no, fate has other plans for me it seems.

Authors notes

And we are done with the second chapter of Mordred in Remnant.

The same as my other stories, I will address some stuff that I feel needs addressing. First of all, would be how Mordred's body is slowly influencing his thoughts and actions here. Over time this influence would get stronger and hopefully, I can pull it off to show Mordred's influence gets stronger the more time passes.

Just a reminder that Mordred, having no master, is unable to keep on fighting due to her high magical consumption.

The next thing I want to talk about is why Raven pulled away or more accurately, how Raven came to a conclusion that Mordred was using magic.

Well, Mordred has no aura and yet is able to deal with Raven in combat on equal terms for now. As we all know, Servants are literally filled to the brim with magic, so it makes sense for magic users or Maidens to be able to sense Mordred's mana burst if close to her. (Or at least how I think it should work…)

By the way, do you guys prefer before the Fall or after the fall? Tell me in the reviews so I can change how the story would go to.

If you like this new story of mine. Feel free to Follow and Favorite me to keep in touch with this story and leave a review of what you think about it so far.

Other than that, I will see ya guys in the next chapter soon.
