And we are back with another Chapter of this story. Welp I was intending to work on my other story 'RWBY reacts to StarCraft 2' but it appears that I couldn't do it for some reason. So, I go screw it, might as well work on this story before attending back to it. (Sry for those who read it and were expecting it.) Anyways, we got some comments to address first.

Guest 1: She doesn't if she's dead.

Triscythe59: Yup. Leo's gonna die and yes, Raven is going to be in critical health at best. At worst, she dies. But no spoilers from me. How would Yang react to it? Well… I suppose that's one way to guess at how she would react.

SunlitOverdrive: Yea, the adults would no doubt distrust Mordred with Ironwood most likely demanding that they would to deal with her. Yea Mordred would do that eventually. And no, she isn't going to lose her sword, it's part of her and only she can summon or dissolve it.

D. : As of yet, Mordred is updated up to Vol 8. She basically knows what would happen, not like it matters now that the railroading has begun.

SkyChaser17: Yea I was hoping that I pulled it off to show that all sorts of Canon are thrown out the window. Though, I have no intention to include Chaldea as of yet. It would make the situation even messier than it is already. I really need to stop including cliff-hangers on my part.

Furukawa023: It was also due to our dear protagonist's own distaste of Raven ditching her family and running away from her duties. This was further enhanced with Mordred's own influence resulting in a literal hatred for her.

Victorsan12345: Related to Mordred's sword, refer to SunlitOverdrive answer. Also related to Raven constantly pulling back. Yea, I need to cut it out but it's part of the plot I intended.

Ultima-owner: Yup.

Silence liberal: First of all, good name for yourself. Second, I'm so sorry I gave ya bad memories but it was just too perfect to not use it.

Lubber: Good Good… Embrace the dark side Mordred… Kill them all! Hahahaha!

Jamieoeyes: Very interesting… I've taken a look at it and it's interesting. Perhaps I would include it in the future. We shall see.

Coolfire364: Well, I will admit, I had to pull some strings but for this case, Vernal survived for quite a while due to the fact that her aura is still relatively untouched as Clarent just pierced through it, as a result, she was using it all to slow down her bleeding but the wound was severe and she's on limited time.

Related to Mordred seemingly appearing weaker than unusual compared to her canon self, I have intentions to explain more in this chapter. Hopefully it's to your liking.

Drkprince: Ouch.

Guest-Questioner: Could be, I won't deny it. It also could be due to arrogance or other influence in action.

Chryseum: Ouch again. Though good points, I guess?

Korst: I'm so sorry I failed you and broke your hope for this story. I wish you the best of luck.

Sandmanwake: Lionheart is going to die anyway from Salem, so he's an afterthought at this point if you were to think about it. Mordred with the Relic of destruction would be the end of pretty much anything at this point. Mordred had her image hammered in Raven's head when she revealed who she was, so should she bleed out, there's a high chance of it going to Mordred after that fight.

Related to the timeline, I had explained it in a previous chapter that Mordred officially entered Remnant as soon as school in Beacon starts. At this point, Amber is currently comatose and under Beacon at this point.

AurelLor: Forgive me, but isn't that how we people are? We had no experience in fights and we are normal people and thus, mentally, we wouldn't be good at handling stressful situations. Unless our protagonist is a mentally unstable psychopath then it would be way different.

Warlord of Chaos: Blood of the Blood god? Anyways, I've got some plans for Mordred's interaction with her mom in the future.

NEGATARO: I had a shot at the soundtrack and I liked it. Nice. I'll think about it.

Zekken182: Yea, I'm aware of that and I have full intention to slow down the pace. As for the fate of Raven, well, read and find out yea?

CreativeName: Uhhh… About that…

And we are done with the comments, let's get this show on the road!

As with my other works, I do not own RWBY or any of the Fate series. All of them belong to their respective owners as such.

Chapter 6

Recovery and Answers

"Uh oh…" Those were the only words that came out of my mouth as I watched the portal close as soon as Qrow entered through it with Raven in hand, never mind the fact that Clarent is still stuck deeply inside her but. I screwed up.

I screwed up badly.

"Damn it…" I fucked up. Yea, I really fucked it up… I could only growl at myself as the leather parts in my gauntlet creaked as I clenched both my fists. The panic that was once there was rapidly replaced by boiling rage.

"Damn it, DAMN IT! FUCK! FUCK! SHIT FUCK! AH FUCK! JUST MY FUCKING LUCK!" I proceeded to let out a volley of insults as I stomped the ground and flailed like a child who had lost their game badly. I just couldn't hold it back. With Qrow escaping with Raven, I don't even know whether I actually finished her off. Sure, having Clarent through her chest would probably kill her but, there's only two people which she has a connection with.

Yang or Tai. Either one of them is bad news. Raven could get medical treatment and would probably recover if she manages to get help, or she dies from her wounds and the maiden's powers would most likely go for Yang instead of me. This went wrong so fast…

My intentions to secure the Maiden's powers, and it escaped from my grasp. And I was so close to it! I underestimate Raven's semblance. I thought she was planning on fleeing, but, no. She was getting help from her twin-brother. That brought another eyewitness into this matter.

And Qrow? No doubt he would report his findings to Ozpin. Then Ironwood would get wind of it too. I could only sit down as I stomped the anger that had overtaken me earlier, and I realized something.

No. I underestimate everyone. I thought that with Mordred's strength alone, I could handle everyone with no issue. And I did not see them as people or any worth of attention. I underestimated them because I had the strength to easily crush them and I did not assume that they would pose a threat to me. I ended up arrogant of the situation. And Mordred pride fuels it as well.

And I did not consider how my plans could go wrong. So wrong...

How foolish I was…

I could only get back on my feet and stare at the Relic of Knowledge in my hand. Should I even keep it with me at this point? Having it helps me deal with my magical needs but, is it worth it at this point? Qrow would no doubt cause Ozpin to mobilize and get Ironwood involved due to the fact I have the relic in hand. And Salem. If she gets wind of it, that would add in a whole another complication to the matter.

And I prefer to keep things quiet, but now that Qrow escaped with Raven, and only she had seen my face. I suppose I have to go dark and observe the situation first before I make any rasher decisions.

"Perhaps I could salvage it, if I were to remove Clarent from Raven's torso, she could still bleed to death and I would get the Maiden's powers… Hopefully. Guess here goes nothing." And with that, I closed my eyes as Clarent reappeared in my hand, all clean and free of any blood.

I could only turn and faced Vernal surrounded by a pool of her own blood, was it really justifiable to just end her life just like that? I honestly don't know any more. But even though I despised her actions as a bandit, she deserves at least a burial of sorts. I won't leave her corpse here to rot.

"But first, answers." I told myself as I lifted the relic in front of my face and utter the words required.

"Jinn. Show yourself." I called out. And in an instant, everything seems to slow down. Petals seem to slow their descent before coming to a stop. The vault itself that shimmer with a cyan glow seemed to come to a stop and at the same time, cyan mist began to pour out of the lamp as I let my grip go from it.

In an instant, the lamp began to float upwards and was quickly enveloped in smoke. In its place, a giant, semi-nude feminine figure emerges. Her skin and hair are coloured blue, and decorated with gold jewellery and ornaments. The figure stretches and let out a moan as she has been awakened once again before looking directly at me.

Seeing it first-hand made me awestruck and slightly disturbed at the same time. Beside the fact that Jinn has a humanoid shape, everything else screams alien. Her cyan skin, she has elongated pointed ears, and lacked some Human anatomy as well. Does not help that she's really tall and big! Like Jeez! Thanks for making me look incredibly small compared to her.

"What, exactly, are you?" I couldn't help but ask her that question, despite knowing who she is already.

"I am Jinn, a spirit that inherits the Relic of Knowledge. I was created by the Gods to assist humanity in its pursuit of knowledge. I know every event that has transpired on this world, of every living being that inhabits it. Except for you and several others I sense in this world who possessed magic. Very interesting…" She hummed.

There are other servants in this world besides Danzou? This… changes things. But she clearly states that she has a lord. But who exactly? It can't be a normal person; they lacked the energy to sustain a servant. Someone else must have summoned her to spy on Remnant. This world might be dealing with something bigger than I expect. I need more answers.

"I have a question that I hope you can answer for me." I asked as I rest my hands on Clarent like I did before.

"Speak your mind, child." Jinn casually waved her hand as she awaited my question. Yet… If she only knows what has transpired in this world, that means that she has no information as to who or what I or any of the other servants are. But she has to be aware of a major threat that threatens humanity, right?

"You're aware of other beings like me, right?" I asked as Jinn shook her head. Ok, so she is aware that there are servants on Remnant. Now, the moment I've been waiting for.

"What exactly are the things that threaten humanity?" I asked, but to my surprise, instead of getting a direct answer, Jinn frowned as she remained silent for a while. Whatever those threats were, they are bad news.

"To my knowledge, there are two things that threaten humanity as of yet, Salem, Queen of the Grimm. And one other…"

"Then what's the other? Explain." I demanded. So not just Salem but another one?! Are you kidding me?! Though I was panicking inside, I did not show it.

"I cannot tell… It lies beyond my knowledge and reach." And with that, Jinn disappears as I extend my hand out.

"Wait! Jinn!" I could only stare as Jinn returned to her lamp before it fell back onto my hand, at the same time, time resumed as I could only grasp onto the relic.

"An additional unknown threat besides Salem?" I could only whisper quietly as I could only stare at the relic. How am I supposed to save humanity from not one, but two! Fucking two! Jinn doesn't even know what it is, perhaps I should had ask for how to permanently defeat Salem instead.

I could only let out a sigh, that's going to bother me greatly, but that means that getting the other servants on my side is what I need to do. But should I keep the relic? Probably not, I only needed the relic for answers, and now that I have them despite them being bad news. I should return it. With Raven under Qrow's care, the Spring Maiden's powers should be in safe hands. Assuming she doesn't bleed out and gives it to Yang or me. Or some random poor woman.

And so, I've made my decision, I'll return the relic to its rightful place. No one, not even I, should have it despite its benefits under my control. There're just too many factors that could go wrong if I were to take it. And with that decision in mind, I walked back into the vault and placed the Relic of Knowledge back where it should be.

On the stone pedestal alone. Sorry Jinn, but you'll be staying here for a while longer.

As I left the vault, the door began to close shut as I turned and watched it. With that done, I need to get out of here and give Vernal a proper burial. Clarent disappeared from my hand as I walked over to Vernal's corpse, her eyes were still open before I placed my hand over her face and closed them.

"Vernal, I don't know if you could hear me but, rest in peace. I don't think even you deserve such death despite your background. Perhaps in another timeline, we could have been friends had your upbringing been different."

I then only picked up her body and made my way back to the platform, which began to take me back up.

Third POV

Across the world, on the island of Patch Island,

Tai was currently busy tending to his garden outside his home, when suddenly, Raven's portal appeared not too far from him, and this honestly caught him off guard, Raven had left him to handle Yang after she gave birth to her. With no answer as to why. This was the first time they would be interacting in years, ever since that day she left. And he's not even sure as to why she returned.

"Raven?" Tai called out as he slowly walked towards the portal. However, what exited the portal caught him off guard. Qrow could be seen carrying Raven in his hands, but what horrified him more, was that Raven had a big ass sword stuck through her chest.

Qrow wasn't looking too fancy either, his body was covered in small slashes as well as a massive bruise could be seen on his face. Qrow looked panicked and worried as he ran towards Tai with Raven in a critical state in his arms. It was obvious to Tai that Raven was still barely conscious.

"Tai!" Qrow called out as he ran straight for his brother-in-law.

"Qrow! Raven! Oh Ohm, what ha-?" Tai panicky asks as Qrow cuts him off.

"Tai not now! Call the ambulance! Raven needs medical help now!"

"Right. Bring her in. I'll get help." Tai understood the severity of the situation as he and Qrow brought Raven into his home before calling an ambulance. They then laid Raven on the sofa despite the fact that she had a sword stuck in her as she could be heard groaning and occasionally coughing out blood from her mouth.

Tai then ran off to call for help and grab a med kit that was stored in his home for emergencies, Qrow on the other hand, was slowly adjusting the rather large sword stuck in Raven, in an attempt to stabilize it and prevent more damage it could do to her.

"Qrow! Help's coming in four minutes! Just keep her stabilized till they arrive!" Tai came back with the med kit and passed it to Qrow.

"Tai, Raven's aura is busted. She needs some help to heal her wounds, can you give her some?" Qrow asked, as Tai nodded and rested his hand on Raven's shoulder before channelling his aura into her. That worked as Raven's eyes opened and rested straight at Tai before she groaned out.

"Tai?" She asked, yet it's clearly obvious that she's barely conscious and probably delirious as well.

"Raven." Tai could only say back. In fact, Qrow could tell that Tai is still angry and hasn't forgiven Raven for leaving both him and Yang behind.

"What do we do against her?" She groaned, though Tai was understandably confused by that question, Qrow was not.

"Qrow? What happened over there?" Tai asked as he began to bandage some of her minor wounds.

"Talk later Tai, we got- What the?!" Qrow response was cut short as the sword stuck in Raven began to dissolve into crimson particles. That's not good. Qrow was aware that without that sword, Raven's going to suffer a massive haemorrhage. He'll worry about how that sword dissolves into nothing later.

"How is that sword doing that? Never mind, Qrow help with Raven now!" Tai spoke with haste as he began to cover Raven's back with bandages.

"Way ahead of you, Tai!"

While both Tai and Qrow were doing everything they could to slow the bleeding as it got worse thanks to that sword disintegrating, Raven was whispering about something that neither Qrow nor Tai could understand, at that point. They just assumed it to be Raven was suffering from blood loss before she went silent and passed out.

It wasn't long that an ambulance arrived and took Raven away. And at Tai's request, he followed them, just to make sure Raven's fine after everything that happened so far. Qrow on the other hand, sat on the same sofa which was covered in Raven's blood before pulling out his canteen before taking a long sip and kept it as he let out a sigh. Qrow then took out his scroll to make a call.

"Hey Oz, got some news you need to know right now. And it's not good."

Mordred POV

After that disaster of my attempt to eliminate Raven and to secure the Spring Maiden's powers for myself, I've decided to keep the pocket watch from myself, I may never know when I'll need it again after all. With that, I made my leave from Haven Academy with Vernal's body on my bike as I drove to the nearby forest while it was already past midnight. Normally this would be a bad idea, but due to my servant nature, I'm not too worried about it.

Besides, the moonlight makes it easier to see in the dark thankfully, even so, having servant senses makes it too easy to sense oncoming Grimm or trees to avoid.

...

Funny how in just two days, I've already fucked the timeline and I probably have to go into hiding for a couple of weeks to hopefully wash the attention off me. But now that my job is done in Mistral, I need to head for Vale soon to confront Roman as to Cinder's location. Though... that puts me in closer contact with that old wizard and there's a higher chance of getting detected by him or anyone he associates with.

Or team RWBY. Knowing their antics they caused in the show.

Anyways, once that's done, I should, for the best, search for the other servants. Their help would be required if I were to save humanity from Salem and whatever threat that Jinn had couldn't tell. *Sigh* I really need a break after this mess. And I mean no fighting or plaining, just plain old me enjoying life I suppose.

Though, I guess that the Mordred inside me would get bored easily…

It wasn't long till I found a decent place to bury Vernal unearth a pine tree and I had an idea to use Clarent as a makeshift shovel. Honestly, it felt as if I was disrespecting it. In fact, I felt rather disappointed at myself for using such a treasured sword like this.

But it works rather well.

To a certain extent.

I suspect that Mordred is making me feel this way.

Once that's done, I made my way back to my hotel with relative haste, I prefer not to hang out longer in the night more than necessary. Oh right, I need to pick up my sword tomorrow as well.

"I need a shower…" I mumbled as I flipped the switch for the lights in the bathroom and walked right in to see myself in Mordred's unarmoured outfit, I could then only untie my own messy ponytail before letting it down below my shoulder.

It strangely bothers me that despite the fact I never had long hair or even learned how to braid it, I always seem to know how to do it. I suspect it was Mordred that I know how to do it.

But it doesn't matter now, at least.

I need a warm bath to end this extremely tense night, and I probably just pass out on the bed once I'm done.

Katou Danzou Report.

Report on personal designated 'Saber'

Under orders from designated Lord, Katou Danzou is to continue observation of Saber and to report back to her if there's any interest.

As of report,

Saber has been in contact with a human leader of a bandit tribe named 'Raven Branwen'. In what ways, more data is required but 'Raven' possesses magical energies inside her unlike her fellow humans. There's also a planned meeting of both of them to retrieve an unknown item of interest called [Relic of Knowledge] by midnight.

At midnight at the Academy/School/institute, a secret room was opened by Saber with a stopwatch. Suspected stopwatch is the key to open a path to the secret room of value.

Both Raven and her suspected second in command possess 'Aura.' More investigation into this 'aura' is required.

Further investigations proved correct as it leads to a massive cavern that contains a vault of sorts. Magical energy is detected in the vicinity of the vault. More data is required. Saber has proved to be more knowledgeable of the item, [Relic of Knowledge] than expected.

As observations continue, Saber talks about the Spring Maiden opening the vault. Suspected that humans that possess magic are called Maidens and are keys to open the vaults? Data proves correct when the Maiden's powers were used to retrieve the [Relic of Knowledge].

Massive magical energy signatures detected within the relic itself, something else is detected inside the relic. Saber is actively siphoning magical energy from the relic itself. Possible usage as magical supply if needed.

After retrieving the [Relic of Knowledge], Saber then performed a betrayal act and executed Raven's suspected second in command in an attempt to secure Maiden's powers?

Theory: Maiden's powers can be passed from killing previous users. More data is required however. Another theory, there are multiple maidens in this world and would allow for retrieval of Relics of use. Suspected that relics are hidden in the four Academies of this world. But more data is required.

Battle was one-sided with Saber's possession of the Relic. Raven was quickly overwhelmed until she attempted to escape with unknown ability. Saber intercepted Raven and was about to finish her off till someone else entered the fight.

Third combatant entered the fight through Raven's unknown ability, designated 'Qrow' from what Raven called him. Suspected familial ties. Qrow seems aware of the Spring Maiden.

Both Qrow and Raven fought Saber long enough till they could escape. Though Raven was critically injured in the process. Suspected percentage chance of death. 93%

Chance of recovering but remain crippled or in a coma. 89%

Enough data gathered for now. Katou Danzou is to report back to Lord and provide all data to her.

Recommendation: Relics could be used as substitutes of magical energies for expedition forces into this world in the future. Coloured crystals called 'Dust' are also an item worth investigating into.

End of Report.

Mordred POV

When I woke up from my sleep, let's just say I was really confused as all hell. I found myself in a black void of sorts? I honestly can't tell but, whatever it is, it sends me on my guard. Though, I was only in my pyjamas which I wore when I went to sleep.

"What the hell is this?" I asked while still rather confused and dazed at the whole thing.

I tried to summon back my armour and Clarent into my hand. Emphasis on tried. What I got wasn't the grip of Clarent but something else entirely. It felt more like a toy. Wait a toy?

Once I pulled my hand up, I noticed that the toy looked like me. I mean, the old me. Brown eyes, short black hair, green-red t-shirt and long black jeans. It did not take long for me to realize what was going on.

Zelretch… That bloody vampire.

"Oi Zelretch! I know you're here! Show yourself!" I yelled out as I looked around with a rather annoyed expression on my face. Well, I got my answer when I heard someone cocking a gun behind me.

As I turned around, I saw Zelretch pointing a gun, point-blank, directly to my face.

"Ah! What the?!" I yelled out as Zelretch pulled the trigger, as I tried to stop him by throwing the doll version of myself at him before closing my eyes. Yea, I was panicking and wasn't thinking straight. Now shut it.

Zelretch actually looked extremely bemused at what I did before he started to laugh and fired his gun. Though to my surprise, and I honestly should have seen it coming, what came out wasn't a bullet but water.

Water of all things.

WATER.

"AH STOP IT!" I jumped as I yelped as I felt cold water covering my body. And sheesh! Don't scare me like that Vampire. Doesn't mean that I am a Servant that I am no longer afraid of death.

I still like living, thank you very much.

"Really? A water gun of all things?" I grumbled after I recovered from his surprise, though thankfully, Zelretch dried my clothes thanks to his reality bending nonsense. I hate getting wet unless I'm in the showers.

"Hm. You pieced together that it was me quite fast." Zelretch hummed as I folded my arms. Though I was surprised by seeing him first hand. In fact, I can tell that he's more powerful. Despite his looks, though I have to admit, it looked way too old-fashioned, to me at least.

"Of course I did, I've been waiting for our talk since you left that note on my bike not too long ago. And the fact that you and I got some stuff to settle. Also, what's with you pointing a water gun that actually looks like a gun? And the Doll, what's with it?" I asked as I slowly walked towards him, and why is he so tall? Or is it just me?

"I can tell. As for the water gun and doll, well..." That vampire deadpanned as a table and two chairs popped into existence before he signals me to take a seat. Seeing that there's nothing else to do, I sat down on the chair as he too did the same.

"I suppose it was my way to try to lower the tension between us."

...

"Really? That's the best answer you got? You pointing a water gun to my face and have a doll of old me here to reduce the tension?" I was completely bewildered by his answer. "Was it really necessary?" I then continued as I shook my head before resting it on my hand.

"Perhaps it wasn't. But I must say, you work fast." Zelretch smiled as two cups of tea appeared on the table. I know that smell... is that? He must have known my thoughts as he spoke out.

"That calming tea blend you'd always liked back home. And must say, I tried it myself and I'd enjoyed it." I could only stare at the tea in front of me before I took it and had a sip of it. Oh, how I miss you tea…

Zelretch must have noticed my expression when I took a sip before he summoned that same doll and let it sit on the table, and it immediately ruined my mood. Thanks for reminding me about that vampire. I could only give a frown before I let my thoughts out.

"Anyways… Since we are here now, I've got questions. The main one is why am I on Remnant? Did you send me there?" I asked as I lay the tea cup back onto the plate as Zelretch summoned some biscuits for us to enjoy.

"Partially." He admitted.

"Partially?" I asked as I took a biscuit and shoved it into my mouth and chewed on it.

"My intention was to send the original Mordred along with a couple other servants to defend humanity from a major threat that would come sooner than later on Remnant. However, the gods of their world didn't like my attempts to intervene with their matters. I've managed to send the other servants into Remnant, but the process of sending Mordred to Remnant was… disrupted."

"Wait, so the other servants were sent to Remnant ahead because of the brother gods?" I asked as he nodded his head before I continued on. "Since you're most likely keeping an eye on me, then what about Danzou? Did you send her as well?" I then asked but to my surprise, he shook his head in denial.

"I did not send her to Remnant. She belongs to someone else more… dangerous. But much to my surprise, I can't tell who she belongs to..." He narrowed his eyes as I could only lean in close to the next question about my existence. "Then what about me? How did I get involved in this mess?"

"With the brother god's disruption of my plans to send Mordred, I have to find an alternative. Unfortunately, that's where you get dragged into this mess." I was silent for the most part as I tried to process his words in my head.

"What I did was merge your soul with Mordred's Spirit core, which at the time was unstable due to the gods' interference. Because of that, you inherited both Mordred's appearance and abilities. It does help that you have prior knowledge of this world as well, which is a bonus in itself." Zelretch admitted as he took a sip, but what he had said and done to me made me snap.

"But you were aware of Mordred's influence on me, right?!" I snapped as I stood up and slammed the table, followed by me proceeding to yell in his face, I just couldn't help it myself. He took me away from my home! My family! "Every day, every hour! Every minute! EVERY FUCKING SECOND! I felt that I was losing my damn self to her influence! There are times that I don't even know who I am anymore! And that's just within 2 BLOODY days! What do you think would happen to me in a month or even a year?!" I continued to yell before my eyes widened as I realized what I was doing.

"I'm… so sorry. I've lost control of myself..." I muttered as I sank down in shame at my attitude as I stared at my tea. Zelretch didn't seem so bothered by me suddenly snapping at him, he just closed his eyes and seemed to have a pensive expression on his face.

Next thing I knew, Zelretch stood up and rested his hand on my head. That got a reaction out of me as my cheeks flared up. "Oi! What the hell are you doing?! Stop touching me!" I asked as I tried to get his hand off my head as I unconsciously pouted.

"An apology"

"Huh?" An… Apology? From Zelretch of all people? That's really absurd to think about...

"Why?" I thought to myself as Zelretch removed his hand from my head before sitting back down and continued on.

"For forcing you into this situation. The process in which I did it was permanent." That information caused me to tense up, but he continued onwards." And I have to admit that I haven't considered your own opinion on the matter. Time was against me and I have to act quickly before I lose the chance to send Mordred there." The Vampire admitted grimly as I could only stare at him.

"Then… Am I actually dead?" I could only whisper out loud. This was getting way too much for me to handle, and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to collapse from stress any moment now.

"Not exactly. The situation is more complicated than it needs to be, but we need to talk about your body."

"My own body? What's wrong with it?" I could only ask. But really, what's wrong with it?

"When I merged your soul with Mordred's Spirit core, you're not fully a Servant. You're at least four-fifth Servant and one-fifth human as a result of this, so you would still need to eat and sleep, but perhaps every week or so and not every day. So, keep that in mind until your soul could get used to the merger, Mordred."

"I'm not Mordred yet, Zelretch. Besides, I prefer getting some rest and eating every day." I huffed at him as I drank the rest of my tea, followed by shoving a couple of biscuits into my mouth.

"Also, due to it, you're not at your peak strength because of it, your overall stats have dropped till later in the future in which it would return to normal. But I doubt that matters in that world, since you would just steam roll anyone that gets in your way, right?" He grinned as I could only nod. While experienced huntsmen could, in theory, stand up against me. They would still get their asses kicked through sheer strength and speed alone that I have to offer.

"Before we do anything," Zelretch said after he finished his tea, "I want you to have this." He then lifted his hand out before a ball of pure magical energy appeared in his hand, yet... It feels familiar, I wonder. Is that what I think it is?

"Is that-" I asked, only for Zelretch to immediately answer my question.

"I'm sure you're aware that your father possesses the Dragon Reactor core, it's only fair that you deserve to have it yourself. And see this as an apology gift." Me? Get the Dragon Reactor core? Holy crap! That means that I would be able to last somewhat longer through this core alone, similar to father!

Wait father?

While I was busy talking to myself, Zelretch then let it float towards me before it suddenly went full speed directly into my chest! I could then feel it merging inside me, and man… This feels really weird. I could only pat my chest in an attempt to alleviate the strange feeling in there.

"Thanks for the gift I suppose. But will I see you again?" I could only ask him that question. After all, I doubt that Zelretch would be busy with something else, but who knows what that vampire thinks of.

"Perhaps… But time will tell. I do wonder what you would do next. It's been rather entertaining for the last two days. But do save this world. That's my only request to you." And with that, he waved his hand as motes of white light began to cover my body, much to my initial surprise.

Before I could say anything else, Zelretch continued on. "I probably won't be seeing you for quite a while, the brother gods were quite thorough in their search for me. Till then, I wish you the best of luck, so goodbye, until then."

Next thing I knew, I began to float up as more of my body was covered in white light as I reached out to him. But I still have so many questions! "Zelretch wait I'm not-!" But it was too late as my vision was engulfed in a bright light.

Next thing I knew, I was staring back at the ceiling of my hotel room with everything that had transpired still in my head while still in the middle of my protest with my hand stretched out. "-done yet?"

"Oh…" I could only mutter as I turned my head towards the window, and it's already morning. I should probably get up. But before I do that, I close my eyes before resting a hand on my chest. And yes, I could feel the Dragon core inside me. Though this would no doubt earn the eyes of Ozpin or Salem should either of them somehow meet me. Let's hope that will never come to pass.

And my overall stats. Zelretch says that they had been reduced, by how much? And that talk with Zelretch and the relic…

"Gah! Screw it! I'll deal with that information later!" I grumbled loudly as I pushed myself off the bed and headed straight to the bathroom.

30 minutes later…

It took a while, but I was back on the streets of Mistral, riding my motorbike, and in my casual outfit. Where was I going? Well, I still need to pick up my sword that was sent for repairs not too long ago. And probably get some new clothing.

As to why? Well, I think that it's best to have some spare clothing and wearing Mordred's casual outfit is nice but, I want to try something myself for once. I refuse to let Mordred affect everything about me!

It wasn't long till I arrived at the same weapons shop which I also, by luck, met two of RWBY side characters. Anyways, as I entered the same shop, the very same green hair cashier could be seen as I walked up to him.

"Yo shopkeep! Is my sword ready yet?" I asked as the cashier dude turned to face me. Turns out he was reading the newspaper. Boring.

"Ah, Kid! Yea, your sword is ready for collection, you got the Lien?" He asked as I pulled up a bundle.

"Yea, got it right here. By the way, can I also buy a handgun as well?" I asked, as the cashier gave a look of interest before moving to the side.

"Well then what do you need?" He asked as I looked through all the handgun on display and one of them interested me the most. It looks like a beefed-up version of a Desert Eagle. It has a red-black and white paint job that reminded me a hell lot like one of those CS: GO skins… I like it.

"I'll take that." I spoke with confidence as I pointed directly at that handgun.

"That one?" The cashier asked as I nodded my head in confirmation. That earned a smile on his face as he added his thoughts. "I see that you're a woman of culture, that's one of my finest works you know. Good choice"

I have to admit, I was so caught off by that woman of culture meme that I completely bypassed the fact that he called me a woman. In fact, it actually caused me to laugh out loud at it. Ok that was good. Apparently, the cashier just smiled at me as he took the handgun out and placed it on the table with at least 6 magazines. I've also requested one of each type of dust magazines to go along with it.

The cashier also requested that I get a magnetic belt to help carry all my new guns as well as some of those magazines with me. Well… I caved in as I got myself a gun holster that was wrapped around my right thigh for my new Desert Eagle, as well as a small magazine belt that was on my waist. I have to admit, wearing Mordred's casual outfit does not match well with all this extra equipment. Another reason to get a new outfit, I suppose.

Now that I think about it, I've actually never used a gun, but how hard can that be? Even with my Servant abilities it should be able to handle the recoil, right?

Eh. I should be fine.

Nevertheless, my next destination was a certain rabbit Faunus I'd met days ago. In fact, when I reached there. To my utter annoyance, there were a couple of racist jerks harassing her when she's just trying to do her job and make a living. Yet, I could only sigh as I got off my bike as I approached them. No doubt that a fight would most likely occur if they were to resist.

"Hey! Leave her alone! You assholes, she's just trying to make a living! Besides, what has she done to deserve this?!" I roared as at least five men and women looked at me with surprise. No doubt they were confused as to why this 'kid' stepped in.

"Stay out of this kiddo, you don't have to get involved in this matter." From what I guessed; the leader of the group spoke out. Several of their members looked at each other before they let Sunny off.

"I ain't going anywhere busto. I was planning on getting some clothes from her but you racist assholes just have to pick on those who are innocent. Seriously, how petty you are." I then turned my eyes on Sunny whose eyes were wide open when she saw me.

"Well, if you're not leaving, guess we got to teach you for meddling in our affairs you shit!" With that, the boss of the group broke off to charge at me while trying to punch me in the face.

Well... emphasis on trying.

I proceeded to dodge to the left before grabbing his beard and slammed him against the wall. It got the desired effect as he was instantly knocked out. I might have given him a concussion, but I'm sure he's fine.

"Well, that was disappointing." I was hoping that he at least had the aura to tank it, so I could ruffle him up a bit more. Oh well. Now where was I?

"Anyone else?" I couldn't help but give a sadist smile as the rest just left their leader just there. Time to check on Sunny if she's ok.

"Hey Sunny, those people won't be troubling you anytime soon, I doubt." I spoke cordially as I walked up to her and offered her a hand.

"Hey… Thanks, for helping me… Those guys have been harassing me for quite a while today." Sunny smiled as she took my hand before I pulled her back onto her feet.

"So, how can I help my first ever customer?" Sunny then asked as she dusted herself before presenting herself to me. Now that I think about it, I never actually told her what to call me. Best I rectify it right now.

"Well, I'm looking for some new clothing options and well, I decided to come over to your shop. Also, please call me Saber, it feels weird to call me the first ever customer all the time, yea?" I gave my own cheeky smile as Sunny's face blushed slightly before she followed me into the shop.

"Of course, what do you have in mind, uh, Saber?" The bunny Faunus asked as her ears twitched.

"Hmmm… I have one in mind." I mumbled my thoughts out as I gave her a confident smirk.

What I ended up getting was somewhat to my style, yet it fits well to Mordred's taste in a strange way. I had a black t-shirt underneath alongside a black pants. Over me was a red overcoat with parts of it that were black. I've also bought fingerless gloves and black sunglasses as well. Have I gone perhaps a little overboard?

Perhaps, but clearly Sunny likes it and so do I. Even my holsters for my sword and gun fitted in quite well if I do say so myself.

"You look so awesome in that Saber!" Sunny ecstatically cheered out as I was busy looking at myself through the mirror while occasionally giving poses or gestures.

Yes, praise me more! Tell me how awesome I look!

Wait wot? Oh right, Mordred's ego.

"I do say so myself Sunny, should I do away with the ponytail or keep it?" I can't help but ask her as I try to imagine myself with loose hair instead of having a messy ponytail instead.

"I'm honestly not sure. How about we try it out?" The rabbit Faunus suggested back. Eh, why not, perhaps I'd look much better. Or is it the inner chuunibyou of me acting out? No matter.

And so, with her help, I let my hair down before I gave myself a good look and man, I look much better if I do say so myself. Looking back at Sunny, and she's as enthusiastic as ever and for a second, her eyes lit up like stars as she continued to observe me in finer detail.

"Think you looked much better with your hair down."

"Yea, if I do say so myself. So Sunny, I think it's time I pay for it, yea? Oh, and there's no need for a bag, I've brought my own." I gave her a grin as Sunny ran off to calculate the total cost, and I may have overspent on clothes. The bloody thing alone cost at least 200 Lien, but I think it's worth it for my somewhat better disguise.

Hopefully.

Well at the end of everything, it was already close to midday which means its lunchtime. I then left Sunny's store before I made my way towards my bike. There's this seafood stall I saw the other day and I wanted to try it out! And I also planned to use that time to think through what that Vampire had said to me.

Despite the first few days of my time in Remnant and all the trouble that had happened so far, I can't help but to be hopeful of the future now that I'm here to change it, despite the fact that I may never go home thanks to Zelretch. But I'll deal with him later.

Cut! Author's notes time!

First of all, whatcha think of this story so far? Do you guys enjoy the somewhat new pacing of this story, though this chapter is mainly info dump but work with me ok?

And then we have the situation of Raven, will she live? Who knows but one thing is for sure, now Ozpin is aware of Mordred in a way. Of course, only Raven had seen her face but as of yet, she's in a critical condition.

Next is Zelretch, I wasn't sure whether I did him justice, so I want to know what you guys think of this my version of that Vampire. Feel free to tell me in the Reviews or PM me. Either works.

So, what do you guys think of Mordred's new combat clothes. As of this chapter, she has her armour, her unarmoured version (Aka ascension 3 Mordred.), her casual clothing and now her combat/disguise clothes.
