While Caroline was getting ready for her dinner date with Stefan tonight, Caroline started to feel nervous, Which was kinda odd even for Caroline Forbes mostly because she never got nervous at all and for some reason she was, Caroline was in the middle of getting ready when she heard a knock at her bedroom door. " Come in," Caroline said as she finished brushing her hair, Caroline than looked over her shoulder as she noticed her mom was walking in,

" Hey, so what do you think? How do I look?"Caroline asked as she made a quick spin and showed off her new dress that she bought earlier today at the mall when she went shopping with Elena after school for her dinner with Stefan tonight.

" You look beautiful sweetheart, So where are you going tonight?" Liz asked

" Elena and I gonna have dinner with Stefan and his older brother Damon tonight at their place," Caroline said as she set her brush down on her desk and walked over to her large mirror to make another quick check to make sure she wasn't missing anything, Caroline stopped for a moment when she saw the look on his mom's face,

" What?"

" Are you talking about Stefan and Damon Salvatore? The brothers who are living in the old boarding house?" Liz questioned with some concern in her voice,

Caroline nods her head," Yeah, Stefan is a new student at school and he doesn't seem to have many friends, He invited me and Elena over for dinner tonight," Caroline than looked out of her window when she heard a car honk and noticed Elena had just pulled up in her driveway," Elena is here," Caroline said as she grabbed her jacket,

Liz had just heard about the brothers moving into the old boarding house a few days ago from her deputies. She also heard rumors that they could be dangerous especially the older brother, Liz stayed silent for a moment. Liz wanted to talk to Caroline out of going to the Salvatore's tonight, But she knows Caroline would just fight her on it so Liz just nodded her head," Have fun and just make sure you are home by curfew,"

Caroline nods her head," Don't worry mom I don't plan on staying over tonight," Caroline gave her mom a quick hug before she headed downstairs, She opened the door and found Elena standing out by her front door,

" You ready?" Elena asked. Caroline nods her head, After she waved goodbye to Liz, Caroline walked out of the house and closed the door behind her, Caroline followed Elena to her car when she felt her cell vibrate against her back pocket, Pulling it out she noticed she got a text message from Stefan, Caroline couldn't help but smile as she opened up her messenger,

Hey Stefan, I was just checking if you girls are still coming over for dinner tonight,

Yeah Elena just got here and we are only way over, We should be there in about five minutes,

After Caroline sent the message and put her cell back in her back pocket, She opened the passenger door and got in when she caught the look on Elena's face," What?" Caroline asked as she closed the door and got her seat belt on.

" I am not sure if I should go to this thing, I mean this is your first dinner date with Stefan and I can't help but feel like I am just gonna be in the way, So i think its best if I just drop you off and then I am gonna head over to Bonnie's and just hang out with her instead," Elena said as she started up her car and pulled out of Caroline's driveway,

A few moments later when Elena pulled up into the Salvatore's driveway, Caroline looked at her for a moment," Stefan invited both of us and honestly, I need you to come to this dinner with me," Caroline said as she gave Elena a small smile,

Elena hesitated for a moment and then sighs softly as she nods her head," Alright I will stay," When Caroline sighs in relief, Both girls got out of the car and walked up to the house, Caroline was about to knock on the door when the front door was opened by Stefan, Caroline couldn't help but smile as she dropped her hand down,

" I was getting worried, I was afraid you guys weren't gonna make it," Stefan said as he moved to the side and let the girls walk in, Closing the door behind them He offered to take their jackets, After Stefan hung their jackets up on the coat rack, Stefan then leads the girls into the kitchen," Caroline, Elena this is my older brother Damon," Stefan said as he introduces them to his brother,

Damon stood up from his seat and walked over to the girls," It's a pleasure to meet you both, Especially you Elena," Damon said as he reached for her hand and lifted her hand up, He then placed his lips against the back of her hand," I am glad that you decided to join us for dinner," Damon said with a small smirk, Elena could feel her heart starting to beat faster and her pulse racing. But she decided to ignore it as she nods her head, She then moves her hand away from his,

" How did you know my name?" Elena questioned,

" From Stefan," Damon answered as he felt Stefan glaring at him, But he kept his attention on Elena instead," Come on let's all sit down and eat before all of this dinner gets cold," Damon said as she placed his hand against the small part of Elena's back as he walked her towards the table, Damon could hear Elena's heart beating, He looks down at her neck as he watched her take her seat, He could feel the blood rushing towards his eyes, Damon quickly closed his eyes to keep them under control, Damon so badly wanted to taste Elena's blood but he made a promise to Stefan that he would behave tonight,

Once they all had their plates of food in front of them, Caroline was the first person to speak," So Stefan there's a party tomorrow night, It's like a back to school party, It's gonna be out by the water hole by the woods and I was wondering if you wanna join me," Caroline said as she took a sip of her drink and set her glass down as she waited for an answer from him,

Stefan gave her a warm smile as he nods his head," I would love to come with you tomorrow." After dinner, they went out to the living room and they all sat down both couches, Caroline sat next to Stefan while Elena sat down next to Damon, Caroline could tell Elena was keeping her distance from Damon, Caroline than glanced around the living room," You guys have a lovely home, It's a lot bigger than mine that's for sure," Caroline said with a smile,

" Stefan why don't you give Caroline the grand tour of the house while Elena and I get to know each other better," Damon said as he glanced over at Elena and gave her another smirk, Stefan really didn't want to leave Elena alone with Damon since he didn't like the look on his brother's face, He was about to protest when Damon shook his head," Don't worry little brother nothing is gonna happened, I promised to be on my best behavior tonight remember?"

Stefan sighs softly and nods his head, He stood up and grabbed Caroline's hand and pulled her up, he then pulled Caroline out of the living room and started the grand tour, Damon watched Elena moved to the other couch in disappointment," Do I make you nervous?" He asked with a small chuckle," I kinda do have that effect on women sometimes," He said as he winks at her,

Elena quickly shook her head," No of course not, It's just, Elena wasn't sure how to finish that sentence so she decided to change the subject," How long have you and Stefan been living in Mystic Falls?" She asked,

" All our lives actually, We were born and raised here in Mystic Falls, We recently moved back home cause our uncle Zack needed help around the house, He is upstairs reading, He isn't exactly big on meeting new people," Damon said as he shrugged his shoulders," What are your plans for after graduation?" Damon questioned, he had to think of something to ignore the lust of her blood,

Upstairs Stefan showed Caroline his room, Walking around Caroline noticed Stefan had a shelf full of books, " You like to read don't you?" She questioned when she walked over to the bookshelf and glanced at all the books he had, She couldn't help but be amazed at his collection," I gotta admit though you got a better collection of books than me," She said as she chuckled softly,

Stefan chuckled as he walked up to her," I am sure you have a great collection of books." He said as he smiles softly, Stefan then reaches over and gently brush a strand of hair out of her eyes as he stepped closer to her." I know this is our first date and everything and I know we just met like yesterday, But I wanted to let you know that I like you Caroline and I hope to get know you better," He said as he grins softly,

Caroline felt her face going red as she smiles softly," I like you too Stefan and I would love to get know you better as well,"

Stefan looks more into her eyes as he could see the sparkle in her eyes, He leans down slowly and placed his lips against hers, He starts to kiss her slowly and gently, Stefan than deepens their kiss as he wraps his arms around her waist, He pulled Caroline closer to him as he kisses her more passionately and so much desire, They both pull away from the kiss as they both catch their breath,

" I wasn't really expecting that," Caroline said truthfully," But it felt nice," She said as she smiles softly. When she watched Stefan moving closer, Caroline quickly moved her hand up against his chest," We should probably head back downstairs and save Elena from Damon," She said as she giggles softly, But before she turned to leave Caroline leans up and brushed her lips against his," just keep that in mind for next time," She said as she winks at him. She then walked out of his room and headed back downstairs,

After Caroline and Elena said their goodbyes and got into the car, Both brothers watched them dive off," So tonight was a success don't you think?" Damon asked as he stepped away from the door so Stefan could close it behind them." I could see why you like Caroline, She's cute for a blonde, But then again you were always a sucker for blondes," Damon said with a smirk as he walked over to the minibar and poured himself a glass of bourbon,

" What is that supposed to mean?" Stefan questioned as he raised his brow,

" We both know Katherine wasn't the only woman you went after, I do remember the little blonde you used to bring over to the house all the time, Valerie, I am sure you remember her," Damon said as he took a sip of his drink," Oh well that was in the past and besides it's not like Valerie is still life right?" So why worry about her when you got Caroline,"

Stefan ignored Damon's comment," I am gonna head up to bed," Goodnight Damon," Stefan walked passed Damon and headed upstairs, He started to wonder why Damon would bring up Valerie, He hasn't thought about Valerie for decades, So he had no reason to think about her now and even if she was still la life doesn't change anything because his heart belongs to Caroline and Caroline only, He laid down against his pillow, He closed his eyes as he could see Caroline flashing his mind, He could still feel her touch and taste her lips against his, Stefan couldn't wait to see Caroline again tomorrow and taste her lips against his again,
