Walking downstairs Stefan noticed Damon was sitting in his favorite chair, staring at the fire place with his favorite drink in his hand. Which means two things. Either Damon is in deep thought or he's wallowing in his failure. Stefan has knoqwn Damon all their lives and Stefan can tell when there's something seriously wrong with his older brother.

" Are you seriously going to stand there and watch me all day brother, or are you going to actually say something?" Damon asked as he brought the glass up his lips and takes a drink of his bourbon. Damon took a deep breath as he closed his eyes and let the smooth strong liquid slide down his throat.

" I am guessing you tried again with Elena and once again she turned you down." Stefan says as he crossed his arms over his chest. Ever since the first night at dinner with Caroline and Elena. Damon as been trying to get close to Elena for weeks now and Elena has been turning him down.

Damon just sat there in silence taking another drink. Since Damon watched them take Katherine away carrying her into the fell church in 1864 and when he watched the church go up in flames with Katherine inside. Damon sworn to himself he will never fall in love again and for 145 years of his vampire life the only two things Damon Salvatore ever indulge in was human blood and his bourbon. Damon still has his bourbon but he hasn't had human blood for almost a month and it's all because of Elena Gilbert. The girl he can't stop thinking about. The girl he's been craving for since that first night he met her.

" Wanna talk about it?" Stefan asked.

" No." Damon answered as he still never took his eyes away from the fire that's crackling in the fireplace.

" Alright I'll be back later. I am going to go into the woods and get something to eat and go meet up with Caroline at the grill." Stefan says as he turns around and heads towards the front door.

" Give Bambi an hello for me." Damon says with sarcasm as he finished his drink. Getting up from his seat and walking towards his mini bar. Damon poured himself another glass of Bourbon. Glancing over at Stefan as he scoffed little.

" What?"

" Oh nothing." Damon responded as he shrugged his shoulders." It's just how long are you going to keep pretending you're not a vampire when you're with Caroline?" Damon asked as he took a drink.

" I am not pretending anything when I am with I'm with Caroline." Stefan responded as he shook his head.

" You're lying Stefan. Your lying to yourself and you're lying to her. Sooner or later the truth is going to come out and once Caroline finds out who you really are and finds out that you been lying to her this whole time. Your relationship with her is gonna end."

" Whatever Damon. That would never happen." Stefan says as he open up the front door and stepped out into the sunlight as he closed the door behind him. Walking towards the woods, Stefan couldn't help but wonder if Damon is right about his relationship with Caroline might end if she finds out who he really is. For a month now Stefan has been able to hide his true identity from her and even though Stefan had thought about telling Caroline the truth. There was never a right time. Pushing the thought of losing Caroline in the back of his mind. Stefan kept his focus on the bunny that was right in front of him.

" We totally need a girls weekend." Bonnie says as soon as the waitress came back with the girls drinks and a large bowl of fries." It's been awhile since the three of us hung out." Bonnie says as she grabs a couple of fries." Besides there's some new spells I wanna show you guys." Bonnie says excitedly.

" Well, I was supposed to spend the weekend with Stefan. He's supposed to stop by the grill so we can plan our weekend together." Caroline says with a smirk as she took a drink of her soda.

" You guys, planning an weekend getaway?" Elena asked with a smirk.

" Maybe. I mean we've only been together for a month now and I think it's about time, we take the second step in our relationship." Caroline says as she smirks slightly as she bit her bottom lip gently.

" But I thought you wanted to take things slow. Get to know him better." Bonnie reminded Caroline.

Caroline rolled her eyes as she huffed heavily." Yeah, well I'm done taking things slow. I am ready to take the next step and this weekend is our best chance. Besides my body has been aching for him over a month." Caroline says as she spotted Stefan and got up from the table and went to meet him.

Both Bonnie and Elena glanced at each other and bursts out laughing. Once Elena calmed down. She took a drink of her soda." Well, since Caroline is going to be with Stefan this weekend. Why don't you come over this weekend and you can show me some new spells." Elena suggested.

Across the Grill. Caroline sat across from Stefan." So, I was thinking. We can get away this weekend. My mom has a cabin just a few miles from Mystic falls. I am sure my mom would be okay with us using it this weekend." Caroline says as she smiles warmly.

Stefan gave Caroline a small smile as he briefly nods his head." A weekend away with the just the two of us. Sounds perfect." Stefan says as he stood up and leans across the table and kisses Caroline deeply and passionately. He rests his forehead against hers for a moment." I love you so much." Stefan says softly.

Caroline rest her hand against his face as she smiles softly." I love you too. You doing okay? You seem to be kinda distracted. It's like you're mind is somewhere else." Caroline says as she sat back down.

" Yeah, I am fine Caroline. Just distracted by your beauty and just thinking of spending an romantic weekend with you." Stefan says as he grins from ear to ear as grabs both of her hands.

" Nice safe, Salvatore." Caroline says as she leans across the table and kisses Stefan more deeply and passionately as she smiles against his lips." And I agree. This weekend is definitely going to be romantic."She says softly.

Just a weekend with Caroline is just what Stefan needs right now. To get away from Damon and everything that has been happening lately in Mystic falls. Maybe Stefan could use this weekend to finally tell Caroline what he is. He just hopes she doesn't kick him out or even worse, run away from him.
