Walking into the kitchen of her parents Cabin the next morning, Caroline walked over to the coffee machine and removed yesterday's filter. They got to her parents Cabin Friday night and it's been an amazing weekend. Sadly they have to go back home tomorrow morning before the second class starts or at least before lunch starts. Placing the coffee pot into the coffee machine and after pressing start. Caroline walked out of the kitchen and headed upstairs and into the bathroom to take a morning shower.

Thirty minutes later, Caroline walked downstairs and headed back into the kitchen as she saw Stefan standing over the stove making breakfast." I could have made breakfast." She said as she walks over to him and gave him a quick kiss as she walked towards the coffee machine and pours herself a cup of coffee.

" I know, but you've cooked dinner Friday night and breakfast yesterday. Now it's my turn." Stefan says as he grins towards her and went back to making his special egg omelettes that he used to make growing up.

" True." Caroline says as she takes a sip of her coffee that was still warm." Alright, I am going to let you finish up. I will be in the living room and throw more wood into the fireplace. It's still kinda chilly." She said as she smiles even more as she walked out of the kitchen.

Stefan glanced over his shoulder for a moment as he watched Caroline adding more wood into the fireplace. It's been two days and Stefan still hasn't told Caroline the truth about him. He knows he's gonna have to tell her at some point, he just don't want to scare her off or lose her. They've been seeing and spending so much time together for almost two months now and every moment with her as been amazing so far. But he knows if he wants to have some kind of future with her, he's gonna have to be honest with her.

Walking out of the kitchen with two plates in his hand. Stefan hands Caroline her plate which she took as he sat down next to her. Still watching her trying to figure out how he's planning on telling her the truth about himself, he couldn't help but chuckle as he watched enjoy breakfast.

" These omelettes are really good." Caroline hums softly as she closed her eyes for a moment as she nods her head." They're really delicious Stefan." Caroline says as she continues to eat them.

" Thanks, I am glad you're enjoying them. I used to make them growing up." Stefan says as he takes a bite of his half of the omelette." My mom taught me how to make them actually. She was the one who got me into cooking actually."

" Well, you did an amazing job and I would love to meet her some day and thank her for teaching her son how to cook." Caroline says with a smirk as she takes a sip of her coffee. She then looks over and noticed a sad look on his face." Did, I say something wrong?" She asked placing her cup down on the coffee table.

Stefan shakes his head as he gave her small smile." No, Care. It's just...my mom passed away when I was only ten." Stefan says as he looks down towards his coffee cup. Losing his mother at a very young age was the hardest thing he had to go through. Even now it's hard for Stefan to talk about her. He can barely talk about it with Damon since he just completely shuts down and refuses to talk about it. Damon didn't talk at the funeral.

Caroline sat up straight as she took a deep breath as she looks over at him with so much sympathy." Oh, wow. I am sorry about that Stefan. How did she passed away?" Caroline asked wondering.

" She died of consummation." Stefan responded as he takes a drink of his coffee that was already cold.

" Is that some kind of cancer?" Caroline asked as she wanted to know more.

Stefan nods his head as he looks at her." Something like that."

Caroline shook her head as she couldn't imagine losing her mom that way." I'm sorry Stefan, How long as it been?" Caroline asked again.

" It's been a very long time." Stefan simply answered. Stefan set his cup down and leans over and kisses her cheek." I'm gonna go out for a walk." Stefan says as he got up from the couch and walked over to the coat rack and grabs his jacket." I will be back in an hour." Stefan says as he walked out the door and closed the door.

Caroline sighs deeply as she ran her hands through her hair and shakes her head. She wasn't sure what just happened. One minute they were talking about his mom and the next thing Stefan just walks out. When Stefan comes back, Caroline is gonna ask questions.

Walking out on Caroline the way Stefan had was definitely a dick move. But He had to get out of there and clear his head. When Caroline asked him how long has it been since his mom died, the only answer Stefan could come up with that it's been a long time. Which in reality that's true. But Stefan just couldn't tell her that his mom died in 1876. Caroline would think he was crazy or something. He can't even tell her that he's a vampire and he has been seventeen since 1864. Stefan hates keeping secrets from Caroline, cause he knows keeping secrets could hurt people. But telling someone his secrets could hurt them as well and the last thing Stefan wants to do is hurt Caroline.

Stefan and Caroline has only been seeing together for two months now, almost three months, and since then Stefan has found himself falling more and more in love with Caroline, every day. And the more he finds himself deeply failing for her, the more he knows he's going to have to tell her his secret.

Walking further away from the cabin and into the woods, Stefan saw a white bunny hopping around a few feets away from him. Stefan was hoping for something bigger. But for now a bunny would have to do for now. With one quick movement, Stefan vamp-speed and grabbed the bunny by the back of it's neck. Stefan threw his head back a little and brought his teeth down and sinks his teeth into its neck. The taste of animal blood was definitely different than human blood, but it was still warm and it's been what Stefan has been customed to ever since he completely stopped feeding off human and tearing their heads completely off. Stefan was once known as the Ripper and ever since then, he's been trying really hard not go back as the Ripper again.

Watching the bunny scurry away, Stefan took a deep breath as he stood back up. Taking his cell out, Stefan noticed he's been gone from the cabin, gone from Caroline longer than he planned. Wiping the blood from his mouth, Stefan took a deep sigh and headed back to the cabin. If Stefan is ever going to tell Caroline everything including him being a vampire. He might as well tell her now.

Caroline was in the middle of washing the morning dishes as she heard the front door opening and closing. Placing the last plate into the dish rack, Caroline turned off the water and wiped her hands from the kitchen towel as she walked into the living room." Hey, I was starting to get worried." Caroline said as she walked over to Stefan and wrapped her arms around and hugs him tightly. She pulls back and placed both hands against his face. " You okay?" Caroline asked with concern.

Stefan slowly nods his head as he placed his hand over hers as he brought the palm of her hand against his lips and pressed his lips against her hand deeply. He sighs deeply once more." We should talk." He says softly.

Caroline was taken a back at what Stefan said. She pulls away from him as she crossed her arms over her chest. " You're breaking up with me, aren't you?" Caroline asked as she could feel the sadness in her voice.

" What!?!" Stefan asked as he shakes his head." No! Of course I don't want to break up with you Care. What makes you think that's what I want?" Stefan asked.

" Because you said we need to talk and when someone says that usually means, they want to break up with that person. So, if you're here to tell me you want to break up with me. Just tell me Stefan. Cause I can't..." Caroline was quickly cut off once she felt his lips against hers. She closed her eyes and moans softly against his lips as she wrapped her arms around his neck and returned the kiss as she deepens it more." Take the hurt." Caroline was finally able to say as she breath deeply as she rest her forehead against his.

" Caroline, I love you and there's no way I want to break up with you. Not now, not ever. But we do need to talk though." Stefan took another deep breath and just said it." I'm a vampire."

Caroline looks at him confused." You're a what?" Caroline asked him in disbelief...
