" You are a- what? A vampire?!" Caroline asked as she looks at Stefan as she scoffed in disbelief, shaking her head." But, how?" Caroline asked as she crossed her arms over her chest." Stefan, Vampires are not real. I mean they are make believe. They are stories that parents tell little children, to scare them into eating their vegetables. "

Don't you ever wonder what really happened to the victims? Or wonder why the reporters or the police department is always covering up the stories, by saying it was an animal attack?"

" Yeah, I guess." Caroline says as she just shrugged her shoulders." But that doesn't mean you're a vampire. Cause they are not real and you really don't seem all that different. Besides, if vampires are real then how come I never came across one or even seen one?"

" We have these daylight rings." Stefan answers as he held up his hand and shows Caroline his ring." They protect us from the sun. With them, we can blend in and walk around during the day, without anyone suspecting us."

" How many of you are there?" Caroline asks in shock.

" There's just me and Damon now. But back in 1864 this town was very well known for vampires." Stefan answers as he stood there and watches Caroline turn her back towards him." Caroline, what is it?" Stefan asks as he stepped little closer to her.

Caroline quickly turns around and faces Stefan." Damon was the one who attacked Vicki Donovan, The bite on her neck. That was Damon, wasn't it?" Caroline asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

" Yeah," Stefan answers with a sigh.

" Oh, my God! and your letting him go near my best friend?!" Caroline asks freaking out. I gotta call Elena and warn her." Caroline says as she took her phone out of her back pocket and started to call her when Stefan quickly stops her.

" You can't tell her, you can't tell anyone Caroline."

" Why?" Caroline asks as she crossed her arms over her chest and raised her brow.

" Because if anyone finds out about Damon and I. It could be dangerous. You knowing this is also dangerous... but I am telling you this because I can't keep it from you and more importantly." Stefan stops for a moment as he places both hands against her face." I know I can trust you."

Caroline nods her head." Of, course you can trust me Stefan and I will keep your secret." Caroline says as she leans up and kisses him deeply and passionately as she rest her forehead against his. Caroline was good at everything, even keeping secrets. Caroline sighs softly as she spoke again.

" So... what do you feel like doing now?" Caroline asks with a smirk and a soft giggle.

Both Elena and Bonnie were hanging out in Elena's room, while Jeremy and Jenna was downstairs watching tv. Elena was going through her closet while Bonnie was going through what it look like a real old book. After Elena found the outfit she was going to wear for school tomorrow. Elena walked over to her bed and sat down." So, did you hear that we got a new history teacher?"

Last week at home coming. Just before the first game of the season was able to start. Their history teacher who was also the couch of their football team, was attacked and killed by some kind of an animal. But Elena is starting to wonder if it's something bigger than just an animal attack.

" Yeah, I heard. I also heard his name is Alaric Salzman." Bonnie says with a shrug." He's supposed to start tomorrow." Bonnie says as she continues to look the book she was reading." Do you believe in witches?" Bonnie asked as she looks up from the book.

" Um.. I never really thought about. Why?"

" Because, there's a possibility that I might be one." Bonnie answered.

" You- Are you sure?" Elena asked as she looks at her in shock and confused.

Bonnie nods her head." Yeah, I am sure. I mean I've been getting all these visions in my head especially when I touched something. Just like few weeks ago when we were at the party and I touched that beer bottle and I saw a vision of you running and there was fog and a crow."

" Yeah, I remember."

" And, now I have been seeing the same numbers every where I look. 18, 6 and 4. Not sure what that means or why I am seeing it. But I've been seeing it a lot lately."

" What does your grams say about it?"

" She says I'm a witch and I should embrace it. But honestly I don't know if I really want to. I've been going through this book which she calls it her grimmore and it's filled with spells and magic I've never heard of." Bonnie sighs as she shakes her head for a moment." Just promise me, you won't tell anyone about this, not even Caroline cause we both know she won't understand any of this."

" I promise. So, what you gonna do in the mean time?"

Bonnie just shrugged her shoulders." I got no idea, honestly."

" I do. Let's go downstairs and see if there's still ice cream in the fridge."Elena says as she got up from the bed and grabs Bonnie's hand and pulls her off of the bed and drags her downstairs into the kitchen. Walking towards the fridge and pulling out the carton, Elena grabbed two spoons from the drawer and joined Bonnie at the kitchen counter.

Elena doesn't know that much about witches or magic. But she does know that Bonnie Bennett is her best friend since they were kids and nothing will ever change that. Elena would keep her secret from everyone, she just hopes she can keep it from Caroline. Since Caroline always wants to know what's going on between them.

" So, Are you still going to see Damon?" Bonnie asked disturbing Elena's thoughts.

Elena just shrugged her shoulders." Honestly? I don't know. I mean he's ridiculously attractive and everything and yeah when I am near him or around him. My heart does beat faster and I get all these feelings that I've never experienced before, not even when I was with Matt I never had these feelings before. But I can't help but think he's little too old for me."

" Sounds like you're falling in love and I think you should just go for it. Besides haven't you heard age is just a number and it doesn't matter especially when love gets involved." Bonnie says as she took a huge bite of the ice cream and smirks as she giggles softly.

Elena snorts as she shakes her head and also took another bite of the ice cream. The rest of the night Both Elena and Bonnie stayed up talking about School and what they were planning on doing after graduation. They thought about going on a road trip during the summer. Her, Bonnie and Caroline was going to go to California. Elena has an Aunt from her dad's side of the family has a beach house in Malibu and the girls was gonna stay there over the summer.

After two a.m. and after eating half of the carton of ice cream. Elena and Bonnie finally decided to call it a night and went to sleep. Tomorrow is when they meet their new history teacher and Elena can't help but curious about him.
