With Stefan in School and Zach nowhere around this morning has given Damon to some thinking, well lot of thinking actually. Damon still hasn't figured out a way to free Katherine from the tomb yet and he wasn't sure what to do, but he knows she's in there. He watched them put Katherine in the tomb the night she got caught when his father found out she was a vampire. Damon still blames Stefan for what happened to Katherine. He still blames Stefan for forcing him to feed on blood the first night he was in transition.

When Damon had woken up the next morning after being shot and murdered by the hands of his father, Damon didn't want to complete the transition as he decided it wasn't worth living without Katherine.

For 145 years Damon has been in love with Katherine Pierce and he will do anything to get her back, even if he has to rip this town apart to do it.

"Ugh." He groans as he heard a loud knock coming from his door. Well there's go my peaceful morning. Damon thought in annoyance as he walked towards the door and swings it open. He leans against the door frame with a smirk as he noticed Caroline standing outside his door.

" Well hello Blondie, shouldn't you be in school?"

' I need to talk to you." Caroline answered as she walked past Damon and headed towards his mini bar. If she was actually going to have this conversation with Damon she was really going need a drink for this. She picked up a bottle and popped open the cork and took a huge drink from it.

" By all means help yourself." Damon said sarcastically as he dropped down on his couch." Now what exactly do you need to talk to me about that's so important, that you had a drink my bourbon?"

Caroline set the bottle down as she took a very deep breath and glanced over at Damon.' What's going on between you and Elena?" She asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Damon rolled his eyes as he scoffed." There's nothing going on between us. why did she say anything?'

" Only that you been avoiding her since the night of the founders party at the Lockwoods." Caroline replied with a shrug as she walked towards the other couch and sat down. " She didn't even come to ace yesterday. She claimed that she was sick."

Damon just shrugs his shoulders. " Maybe, she was. I mean have you ever thought of that. " Damon said as he got up and walked over to his mini bar and poured himself a glass of bourbon. He then tossed the glass back as he took it in one shot.

" For some reason Elena is in love with you and the fact you've been avoiding her lately is hurting her Damon and she doesn't deserve that. Actually the way I see it, Elena can do so much better than you." Caroline said bluntly as she was speaking the truth. If Caroline was being honest here she would prefer Elena with Matt. At least he doesn't go around town killing innocent people.

" Well, I am not doing it to hurt her. I am sorry but I don't have time for Elena Gilbert or her high school drama. I got more important things to handle. Don't forget to lock the door on your way out." Damon said as he turned around and headed towards the stairs.

" Like going around Mystic Falls killing innocent people?" Caroline asked as she stood up and crossed her arms over her chest.

Damon snorts as he turned back around." I don't have any idea what your talking about."

Caroline rolled her eyes as she scoffed." I know what you are Damon and we both know what happened to those people weren't because of animal attacks and the reason why I am not staking you right now is because you're Stefan's brother and I would never hurt Stefan that way by killing you."

Damon crossed his arms over his chest as he smirks slightly. " So Stefan told you our little family secret huh? What else has Stefan been telling you about?"

" That's between me and Stefan."

" If I wanted to I could snap your pretty little neck and not think twice about it." Damon said threatening as he walked towards Caroline and growls lowly.

" True you could, but we also know that you won't. "

Damon snorts as he shrugs his shoulders again." Why? Because you're Stefan's girl? New flash Blondie that really doesn't matter to me and with you gone won't even effect me either. So unless you don't die today I suggest you leave my house now while you're still standing." Damon said deadly.

" Stay away from Elena because if you don't, then you would really wish I staked you." Caroline threatens back as she turned around and walked out of the door and closed it behind her. Getting back into her car Caroline heavily sighs as she slammed the door shut. She picked up her cell as she noticed she had missing calls. Two from Bonnie, three from Elena and five from Stefan.

Caroline sighs again as she dropped her cell back into her back and started the engine. Once she got her seatbelt buckled, she speeds away from the boarding house and headed towards school. Caroline just hopes that she gotten through Damon and that he would actually stay away from Elena. But now she's gotta get Elena to stay away from Damon she just isn't sure how without reveling their secret.

Watching Caroline drive from his window, Damon couldn't help but chuckle. Caroline was brave. Stupid, but brave for standing up to him the way she did. It's no wonder his little brother is in love with her. But none of that matters now. The only thing that matters is that Damon needs to move fast with his plan and quick.
