Caroline along with Bonnie and Elena were walking around the school grounds. Tonight was the Halloween carvinal and looks like everyone was having fun. Everything was going perfectly well and Caroline was very pleased with everything. The only thing that was missing was Stefan. He promised Caroline that he would meet up with her at the carvinal around seven and he's already an hour late.

" What's up with you?" Bonnie asked Caroline as she noticed Caroline kept checking her cell phone every five minutes.

Caroline huffs as she put her phone back into her back pocket." Stefan's an hour late. Hee promised to be here at seven and it's almost eight." Caroline answered as she kept looking around for him. She then groans in disguise as she noticed Damon." Seriously?! What the hell is he doing here?"

" I invited him." Elena answered as she walked towards Damon before Caroline had a chance to say something. " You showed up." Elena said with a smile as she was happy that Damon actually came since she didn't really expect him to.

" Well, you did invite me Elena and I never turned down an invitation." Damon replied with a smirk as he stepped closer to Elena." I want to apologize for my behavior lately and for avoiding you. You didn't deserve that." He said softly as he truly meant it.

Elena just nods her head." Make it up to me. Win me a stuff animal." Elena said with a huge smile as she grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the ring toss.

Caroline scoffed and rolled her eyes as she shook her head." I think I'm going to throw up." She said as she turned around and walked away from Damon and Elena. As she and Bonnie kept walking they noticed Tyler Lockwood standing by a keg.

" I still can't believe you actually managed to sneak a keg at the School Halloween Carvinal." Caroline said as soon as she and Bonnie approached him." Gonna fill one up for me?" She asked as she waits for Tyler to serve her a cup of beer.

" What about you Bonnie?" Tyler asked as he handed Caroline her cup.

" No thanks, the last time I got so drunk that I ended up with an hangover that lasted until Thanksgiving. " Bonnie answers as she looks over Tyler's shoulder and noticed Stefan." Um, Caroline-."

Caroline looked over and also noticed Stefan. She sighs as she took another drink of her beer and started to walk towards Stefan." You're late." She said in a hard tone as she takes another drink of her beer." Wanna explain why you were an hour late?"

Stefan sighs as he nods his head." I was dealing with something."

" Dealing with something? Yeah, I am gonna need you to be little more specific than that Stefan."

" I been dealing with Vicki Donavan."

" And why would you be dealing with Matt's junkie sister? I don't understand." Caroline asked in confusion as to why Stefan had anything to do with Vicki Donavan.

" Because Caroline, Vicki is now a vampire." Stefan said softly as he didn't want anyone else listening in on their conversation especially Damon who's only thirty feet away from them and he can't risk Damon hearing them.

Caroline gasps in horror as she raised her eye brows." Are you telling me that Damon turned Vicki?"

Stefan just nods his head.

" But why? Vicki is just a drug addict. She has got nothing to do with this. What reason would Damon have for turning Vicki?"

Stefan shrugs his shoulders as he didn't have the answers." Listen, Vicki is around. So do me a favour and stay clear of her. She's on edge right now and I don't know what she'll do, the last thing I want is for you to get hurt." Stefan warned Caroline as he placed both hands against her face.

Caroline nods her head. " I will be fine, wait. Does Matt know what's going on with Vicki? Or that she...?"

" No, and I hate lying to him since Vicki is his sister. But I can't just tell him that his sister is a vampire without revealing my secret." For the past few months Stefan and Matt has become friends and Stefan d doesn't wanna risk ruining their friendship by telling Matt the truth about Vicki, even though he deserves to know.

Caroline sighs as she nods her head in agreement." Just keep an eye on her. Make sure she doesn't hurt anyone or worse kill them. The last thing we need is another animal attack." Caroline said as she looked over at Damon and watched him for a moment. Caroline so wants to walk up to him and confront him. But she won't not in front of Elena.

" Hey guys what's going on? " Bonnie asked as she caught up with Caroline and Stefan.

Caroline just shrugs her shoulders." Nothing really. Just thinking of going home already. " Caroline was already getting bored and she really wants to get away from Damon as soon as possible before she does something that might regret and could possibly risk exposing Stefan in the process.

" That's a interesting necklace." Stefan comments as he noticed the necklace around Bonnie's neck." Is that a crystal? "

Bonnie looks down at the crystal as she picked it up." Yeah, it used to belong to my Great, Great, great grandmother. It's been passed down in the family for some many generations. Grams says it would protect me. Whatever that means." She said with an eye roll as she just plays the whole witch thing off.

" Well, if you ask me. I think the Crystal looks ugly and I'm glad that I don't have to wear it." She said with a laugh as she then noticed Damon and Elena walking towards them." Great. " She mumbles with a sigh as she looks over at Stefan." Come find me when you're done." She said walking away from Damon.

" Hey guys. Having fun?" Elena asked with a huge smile on her face as she was holding on to a huge teddy bear that Damon had just won for her.

" Where did your little girlfriend run off to?" Damon asked as he looks over at Stefan." I. hope I didn't scare her off." He said with a smirk.

" She just went to go to get something to eat." Stefan answered with a nod." She'll be back though."

"" Hmm." Damon then noticed the Crystal hanging from Bonnie's neck." Hey where did you get that crystal from?"

" Why?" Bonnie asked as she brought her brows down in confusion. The way Damon kept eyeing the crystal was making her feel very uncomfortable and nervous at the same time.

" Damon what's going on? " Elena asked as she was also wondering why Damon wanted to know about Bonnie's Crystal.

" I do believe that crystal belongs to me." He said as he placed his palm out." So if you don't mind I would like to have it back please. "

Bonnie scoffed as she shook her head." I'm not giving this back to you. Besides it's not even yours anyways. It belonged to one of my Ancestors and it belongs into the family. So no, you can't have it back."

" Or I can just take it from you. " Damon said as he reached for the crystal and tried to pull it off from her neck. But the moment his fingertips touched the crystal he gasps and quickly pulled his hand away once the crystal started to burn his hand.

" What the hell?"

" Were you seriously gonna try to pull it from my neck? Are you out of your mind?" Bonnie asked as she scoffed once more." What the hell is wrong with you?" She asked as she turned around and walked away from Damon and everyone else.

" Bonnie! wait." Elena called out as she walked away from Damon and went to catch up with Bonnie as she was wondering what the hell was that all about.

" Wanna explained what the hell just happened and why all of sudden Bonnie's crystal almost fried your hand?" Stefan asked Damon as soon as Elena left to find Bonnie.

" Not really. " Damon said as he turned around and walked away from Stefan before he has a chance to ask anymore questions.

Stefan sighs deeply as he watched Damon walk away. Stefan knows that Damon is up to something and for some reason it has something to do with Bonnie's crystal. He just wish he knew what it was and why the crystal is important to Damon.
